!!Specific trivia:
* BoxOfficeBomb: The film was made on a budget of $79 million, but grossed only $74.1 million domestically, barely doubling its budget with the added $75.5 million internationally.
* MoneyDearBoy: ''WebVideo/RedLetterMedia'' looked into the film's production (complete with ConspiracyWall) and argued that Creator/AdamSandler made the movie to exploit the complexity of the studio system, having used the web of overlapping parent companies to cram the movie with ProductPlacement to justify his exorbitant budget.
* PlayingTheirOwnTwin: Sandler as Jack and Jill. It "won" him a [[UsefulNotes/GoldenRaspberryAward Razzie]] for "Worst Actor" ''and'' "Worst Actress".
* StarDerailingRole:
** The film became this for Adam Sandler before his CareerResurrection in the late 2010s, as more people caught on to his schtick and many of his films[[note]](save the ''WesternAnimation/HotelTransylvania'' movies and ''Film/GrownUps 2'', whose [[CriticProof box office victory]] over the [[AcclaimedFlop significantly better-received]] ''Film/PacificRim'' only further ''increased'' the backlash against him and his fans)[[/note]] following this one struggled to make money. The fact that it won the most Razzies in a single ceremony and was the subject of a particularly scathing ''WebVideo/HalfInTheBag'' video detailing Sandler's scam-like laziness only further increased the hate.
** It also helped derail the career of co-star Creator/KatieHolmes, also divorcing Creator/TomCruise the following year.
** The film was another major setback for Creator/AlPacino, who has done more minor movies after this before rebounding with ''Film/TheIrishman'' and ''Film/HouseOfGucci''.

!!General trivia:
* ''Jack and Jill'' managed to set the record for most amount of Razzies won in a single awards show. [[MedalOfDishonor It won every single award handed out that ceremony]], including Worst Picture of 2011.
* According to [[http://www.golden-road.net/index.php/topic,23753.msg415278.html#msg415278 Scott Robinson]], former staff member at ''Series/ThePriceIsRight'', the Big Wheel used in that scene was a duplicate that Sandler's company paid for.
-->"One of the ideas for the scene (which they ultimately didn't shoot) was to do something that would have required external modifications to the wheel, which the show wouldn't have wanted to do to its actual game piece."
-->"The other reason a duplicate wheel was necessary was that they wanted the wheel to keep spinning once Jill was knocked out. So the duplicate wheel had no braking system built in -- once you pulled down on the handles, it just kept spinning and spinning and spinning."
* This was the final film appearance of Creator/RegisPhilbin, who died in 2020.
