* AcclaimedFlop: Got positive reviews from critics, but sold poorly due to lacking advertisement. Not helped was ''VideoGame/{{Okami}}'', Clover's previous game, being one as well, leading to the company eventually shutting down.
* ColbertBump:
** The LP from ''WebVideo/TwoBestFriendsPlay'' garnered the game more attention to the point that the character page on [[Website/TVTropes This Very Wiki]] was expanded noticeably around the time the LP was being uploaded.
** A review from [=YouTuber=] WebVideo/SsethTzeentach also invoked this specifically for RuleThirtyFour artwork of Olivia to the point that [[RefugeInAudacity he spent several hundreds of dollars commissioning several artists to create some]]. Bonus points for the fact that, due to the game never being re-released on anything but the [[Platform/PlayStation2 PS2]] (with a later digital re-release on [[Platform/PlayStation3 PS3]]), he linked a [=PS2=] emulator bundled with the game in the description to his video.
* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: As mentioned in ColbertBump above, the game hasn't seen a re-release outside of being put on the Platform/PlayStationNetwork for [=PlayStation=] 3, and the owner of the ''God Hand'' IP being left in limbo doesn't help. The physical copies of the game can be found secondhand, but prices used copies of the can go upwards of $120 or more.
* ReferencedBy: The Chihuahua Curry (changed in the North American version to Puppy Pizza) appears as a purchasable item in ''VideoGame/StreetFighter6''.
---> '''In-game description:''' ''"Contains neither poison nor Chihuahua."''
