1* GeniusBonus: The title of the work can refer to both the fine structure of a fragile universe, or the [[ fine structure constant]], a physical principle upon which basically all energy interactions in the universe rely. If the fine structure constant were tweaked one higher no energy would move and the universe would be static matter, if it were one lower then nothing would stay still and the universe would be a roiling mass of pure energy.
