* BillingDisplacement: The end credits list the main characters' voice actors in alphabetical order, followed by the guest voice actors in alphabetical order, hence why Charlie Adler is the first voice actor credited despite SAVO not being the main character.
* CrossdressingVoices: Most of the young boys are voiced by adult women, including Creator/JessicaDiCicco, Creator/NikaFutterman, Annie Mumolo, and Creator/TaraStrong.
* DawsonCasting: Most of the kids, save for a few, are voiced by adults.
* FakeBrit: We have SAVO, the team's computer, voiced by an American voice actor, Charlie Adler.
* NoExportForYou: The show never aired in Canada and could only be seen on Canadian cable systems that had a PBS station that aired the show or CBS.

** To date, this is one of only three (known) western cartoons to be animated by Korean studio Gangwon Information and Multimedia Corporation (GIMC), who mostly did animation contract services for anime titles. That said, [[GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff they certainly don't forget it]].
** This is the only animated series credited to the creators; Michael D. Moore and Douglas Smith.
* TheOtherDarrin: SAVO was originally voiced by Creator/JonathanHarris in the episode ''Mission 547: Safety Rules'', released in 2003 as the show's pilot. Following his death in 2002, he was voiced by Charlie Adler.
* PlayingAgainstType: Creator/MarkHamill, who's best known for playing [[Franchise/{{Batman}} The Joker]], plays a character like Burt, who is the exact opposite; a very sweet, albeit a bit scatterbrained, inventor. He does get a bit of an ego in the episode "Go Games", but he gets over it.
* UncreditedRole: For whatever reason, Creator/GreggBerger is not credited as the voice of Octodon in "Water Works".
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: A second season of the show was in preproduction before a lawsuit from one of the show's investors shut it down. Some of the episodes planned included:
** ''And They All Fall Down:'' Quentin Manderbill returns with a powerful electromagnet that could theoretically produce unlimited energy, but turns the surrounding town into a giant death trap full of metal objects flying everywhere.
** ''The Traveling Brayskis:'' The Rangers cross paths with the Brayskis once again, resulting in Burble and Squeeky having to embark on a road trip with Franteek and his twin sister Vilka in order to reunite them with their uncles, all while learning the rules of travel safety.
** ''Unidentified Farmyard Object:'' Two yuppie brothers attempt to turn a run-down farm into a tourist trap by faking UFO sightings to drum up publicity, unintentionally endangering two kids in the process.
