1	* AccidentallyCorrectWriting: In the JAR Media video where they initially discuss ''WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic'', they mention how bored out of their mind they were when they all tried to watch the [[Recap/TheNostalgiaCriticS5E11 "Top 11 F-Ups Part 3"]] video, thinking it would be about controversies rather than factual mistakes. Alex then jokes how much better the video would be if he seriously discussed the infamous autism joke in his ''Film/ErnestSavesChristmas'' [[Recap/TheNostalgiaCriticS2E52 review]] instead. Unbeknownst to any of them, Doug actually did talk about the autism joke in [[Recap/TheNostalgiaCriticS3E35 part 2]] of the same series, listing it as number one.
2	* ApprovalOfGod[=/=]DearNegativeReader: Alex got both reactions from Anthony and Ian for his review of the Smosh Movie, with Ian rather angrily telling him not to dismiss the efforts of multiple people while Anthony admitted that it was so accurate it hurt. Ironic considering he admitted he found Ian's acting better.
3	* AuthorsSavingThrow: The video ''I HATE THE RISE OF SKYWALKER''. Many of his fans were quite disappointed that he didn’t criticize the previous Disney-era ''Franchise/StarWars'' movies (especially ''Film/TheLastJedi'') in his normal fashion way. In this video he explains that his opinions of the first two Star Wars movies in the Disney trilogy has changed since he first saw them. He also admits that he was too kind towards them and that in his video ''Star Wars: The Last Jedi - IHE'' he should have talked more about the actual movie instead of just the fan reaction which some interpreted as if he thinks TLJ is a flawless movie and cannot be criticized. He makes up for it by admitting that the respective movies, even if he liked them, ''do'' have flaws. Following is a critique of ''Film/TheRiseOfSkywalker'', a movie that has been criticized by both fans and critics alike, in his normal IHE fashion way.

5	** In the [NOT DISNEY] episode of The Search For The Worst, you might notice that after ''A Car's Life'', he forgets to remove the movie from the Wheel.
6	** The title card for ''Trying to watch: The (NOT DREAMWORKS) collection" reads: "[=IHE=] presents: Insert title here". It's acknowledged in the video's description.

8	** ''Film/TheAmazingBulk'' gained a considerably large one after WebVideo/IHateEverything talked about it in his "Search for the Worst" series. Director Lewis Schoenbrun thanked IHE for his support of indie films, and welcomed comments about it good and bad, even though IHE admitted that ''Bulk'' was the film he savaged the worst on ''Search for the Worst''.
9	** Conversely, IHE's review of ''Cool Cat Saves the Kids'' only had just over 110,000 hits before Derek Savage had it pulled from [=YouTube=]. When it was restored, the video proceeded to hit over 1.7 million views.
10	** After IHE said "I Hate Green" was his favorite IHE parody channel, it went from only 62 subscribers to over 2000.

13	** A week after uploading "I Hate Damn Daniel", IHE made a video about how much he hates the DURR PLANT meme he used in his "I Hate Damn Daniel" video once it became an actual meme. Doesn't stop him from deadpan referencing it whenever it can, however.

15	** He hates his ''I HATE PSY'' video, especially the "Does anyone remember when music used to be good?" line, saying it made him sound elitist. He also thought it was idiotic to compare him to The Beatles or Johnny Cash, as they are very different kinds of music, and again, he just sounded like an asshole.
16	** Sees his ''Trying to Watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic'' video as this, revealing that he was on post-surgery medication at the time -- which made him AccentuateTheNegative up to eleven, yet without any CausticCritic-style exaggeration or humor.
17	** Alex later did an episode on ''VideoGame/HuntDownTheFreeman'', a terrible ''VideoGame/HalfLife'' fan-game he'd voice-acted for. In the video, he admitted he'd failed to take notice of indicators that this was not a worthy project to take part in, such as an unprofessional contract, the fact [[QuestionableCasting they casted him, a white British person, as a character who is not only ethnically Asian but Asian-]]''[[QuestionableCasting American]]''[[note]]he later found that [[OohMeAccentsSlipping they'd used both the]] FakeAmerican [[OohMeAccentsSlipping lines he'd recorded]] ''and'' [[NotEvenBotheringWithTheAccent the later English-accented lines]][[/note]], and, worst of all, ''the fact he didn't know the story because [[WritingByTheSeatOfYourPants the writers were making the dialogue up as they went along]]''.
18	** He recognized in his ''I HATE STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER'' video that his decision to focus on the fan reaction of The Last Jedi in his video about the movie was a stupid decision, since it led to people accusing him of saying that he doesn't think is ok to dislike Last Jedi.
19	* MissingEpisode: His review of Film/WoodyWoodpecker has been taken down from his [=YouTube=] channel at some point.

He has finally revealed his face regularly on Jar Media however, but given that not all IHE fans are aware of that channel, Alex's trolling can still get a large number of his fan base.
