* AttentionDeficitCreatorDisorder: Justin Broadrick has helmed or played a role in a ''jawdropping'' amount of projects.
* CreatorBacklash: Broadrick infamously stated that he hated ''Us and Them'' shortly after its release, but has since softened his stance on it.
* CreatorBreakdown: Happened to Broadrick at least twice:
** Green's departure shortly after the release of ''Hymns'' has spelled out troubles. While Broadrick tried to keep Godflesh going with a different bassist (like [[Music/KillingJoke Paul Raven]]), he felt the shows done without Green were completely off, and ended up experiencing a Music/BrianWilson-like nervous breakdown just before a new tour of North America that made him unable to leave his home Birmingham to the point of missing planes and buses, and ended up having to cancel the tour. This ended up angering many people that were involved with the canceled tour - especially the bus driver who has made death threats against Broadrick - that Broadrick ended up remorgaging his house to pay them off. With his longtime girlfriend leaving him being the icing of the cake, Broadrick wasn't in much mood for anything aside of starting his Music/{{Jesu}} project and considered Godflesh dead until he reached out to Green again seven years later.
** Broadrick started the ''Purge'' album as a way to cope with his diagnosis of autism and PTSD.
* SimilarlyNamedWorks: ''Songs of Love and Hate'' is not to be confused with the identically named album by Music/LeonardCohen, after which it is named.
