Neco-Arc from VisualNovel/Tsukihime]]

Nendoroids are series of chibi figures released back in 2006 by [=GoodSmile=] starting with Nendoroid Neco-Arc from VisualNovel/Tsukihime (with the numbers "000" and "001"). Like Toys/Figma, they are of various characters, usually from anime and games, though they also are of characters from movies and books. Like their taller counterparts, nendoroids are poseable with exchangeable faces, body parts, and etc. The series also spans into other products like plushies, smaller figures called Nendoroid Petite, play-sets called Nendoroid More, and video games based on the designs.

!Tropes associated with Nendoroid:

* AdaptationDyeJob: The Harry and Ron nendoroids are based off of their appearance in the Literature/HarryPotter films, though Harry's nendoroid was later updated to have his green eyes from the books instead of Creator/DanielRadcliffe's blue eyes.
* Animesque: The nendoroid versions of characters based characters from non-anime works become this (such as the Franchise/Disney Princesses, characters from the Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse and Franchise/DCExtendedUniverse, the members of Music/BTS) and even characters from Western media, such as WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Sesame Street, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and WesternAnimation/ThomasAndFriends.
* BFS: The Rathalos Hunter from VideoGame/MonsterHunterWorld comes with the Red Wing Greatsword.
* FunSize: This (and the same template is used by more than one manufacturer). Anything added to the line becomes a Moe-fied version of itself through the tried-and-true process of "inflate head until it's roughly the size of the rest of the body."
* MassiveMultiplayerCrossover: Creator/BandaiNamcoEntertainment's Nendoroid Generation is an obscure Platform/PlayStationPortable crossover RPG where you can see characters from Literature/HaruhiSuzumiya, Anime/MagicalGirlLyricalNanoha, Literature/TheFamiliarOfZero, VisualNovel/SteinsGate, Franchise/BlackRockShooter, Anime/DogDays, VisualNovel/FateStayNight, and even the popular doujin series which is the Franchise/TouhouProject, in cute Nendoroid forms in a story that no one seems to bother understanding. Part of the reason for the game's obscurity lies in the fact that it was never given an English version, nor did anyone make an English patch.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Good Smile probably didn't mean to do this but some of the nendoroids, especially if paired with the Doll Archetypes, do look a lot younger than their canon counterparts, as the chibified proportions downplay their older traits. This is a little more downplayed with the Woman and Man archetypes, as those have some pronounced mature traits.
* PerpetualFrowner: This carries over to a few nendoroids, a few are Dark Yugi, Uchiha Obito, Satsuki, Wolverine, Beatrice, Ellie and Tatsumaki.
* SuperDeformed: Being that they're smaller versions of the characters they're based on, this trope comes with the territory.
* YouAreNotAlone: Good Smile Company's Hatsune Miku (Support Version) Nendoroid's flag says this. The Nendoroid was redistributed with special pom-poms and a flag to support the relief for the victims of the 2011 Sendai Tsunami and Earthquake. For every Nendoroid purchased, GSC donated ¥1,000 (about $12.00 USD) to UsefulNotes/TheRedCross in UsefulNotes/Japan. 74,394 were ordered, meaning GSC donated a whopping ¥74,384,000 (about $913,260 USD).
