->''"This place will not be remembered, and the memory of everything that started this can finally begin to fade away, as the agony of every tragedy should.''''
-->-- '''Henry'''
----
* During the Security Puppet's final playtest, you see the green child (assumed to be Charlotte from the books, Henry's daughter) trapped outside and sad because she is unable to get in. Worse is, the Puppet is stuck in its box and unable to reach her. Then she disappears and the events of the "Give Cake" Minigame from the second game takes place off-screen. By the time the Puppet gets outside to find her in the rain becoming damaged in the process, her body has been left crumpled with the bins, with only the Puppet's now-damaged frame to hold her.
** The Good/True Ending makes it even sadder when her father reveals that she was a very kind soul who would comfort and hug those who were sad or hurt, only when it was her turn, nobody was there for her in her moment of need. She was left to die, cold, scared, and alone.
* The bonus clip after the credits of the Good Ending. It's of a peaceful hill, with five gravestones on the foot that have the names of the children who were killed by Afton... and another on the top of the hill, seemingly watching over them, implied to be the Puppet's grave. After six games, the murdered children can finally rest in peace.
** For that matter, the fact that this game is the true GrandFinale of the ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys'' series can double as a solid punch in the gut for anyone who's played the games over the past three years. Remember this quote from the [[Videogame/FiveNightsAtFreddys1 first game?]]
---> These characters will live on. In the hearts of kids — these characters will live on. -'''CEO'''
** To be a bit more blunt: ''this is the '''true''' end of the series.'' Not just some fakeout like ''3'' or ''4'', or a cliffhanger like ''SL''. This game is truly the big, definitive closeout for the franchise. ''Every'' animatronic is dead, every location is either rotting away or destroyed, [[BigBad William]] is history, and the legacy is put in such a state to where it literally ''cannot'' continue, facing a true and permanent end. Fan speculation will live on, as will the franchise, but the main games' story as we know it is completely done... [[VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddysVRHelpWanted for a while, at least]].
** Plus everyone practically uncovered every secret, every ending, every cutscene the same week the game came out. That's it. There are no more secrets. There is nothing new to discover or theorize. It's finally over.
** One thing worth noticing is that two of the graves are marked as "Jeremy" and "Fritz". If the theory that all the night guards in the series are Michael Afton is true, then this means that he chose the names "Jeremy Fitzgerald" and "Fritz Smith" in honor of two of the murdered children, who he likely knew when they were alive.
** If you look carefully, the graves of two of the children, Gabriel and Jeremy, the ones who possessed Freddy and Bonnie respectively, use the same font. That means that there's a connection between them. Were they good friends? Brothers? Who knows, but they were without any doubt two of the kids that Afton killed in the Missing Children Incident, and one of the surely had to witness the other one die.
* As explained in [[Fridge/FreddyFazbearsPizzeriaSimulator the game's Fridge]], Afton ''survived''. Sure, Baby, Molten Freddy, The Puppet, they are all free. But William survived. Cassette Man's plan is [[AllForNothing for nothing]] — '''''He always comes back.'''''
** Although this is mitigated by the theory that the protagonist of ''[[VideoGame/UltimateCustomNight Ultimate Custom Night]]'' is actually William Afton himself, trapped in his own IronicHell after finally being KilledOffForReal here.
*** And then it was confirmed in ''VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddysSecurityBreach'' that William did indeed survive. And now his most significant opposition is gone…
*** However, [[Literature/FiveNightsAtFreddysFazbearFrights Tales from the Pizzaplex]] hints that the William we see is actually The Mimic, Glitchtrap's AI consciousness. Henry's sacrifice wasn't wasted. '''[[KilledOffForReal Afton won't come back.]]'''
* We now know what all the significant characters sound like (William, Michael, and someone who might be Henry). This implies that Phone Guy was truly innocent and really had no idea about what was going on. He died for simply being loyal to the characters he loved.
** This can also be applied to Jeremy Fitzgerald, since it is heavily implied that he was the victim of the bite of 87. Unless you believe the theory that all the night guards in ''FNAF 1'', ''2'', and ''3'' were also aliases of Michael Afton.
* Some of the last lines Henry speaks in the series while he, and the Pizzeria owner he "hired" accidentally, wait in the Pizzeria.
-->'''Henry:''' And to you, my brave volunteer who somehow found this job listing not intended for you... although there was a way out planned for you, I have a feeling that's... not what you want. I have a feeling you're right where you want to be. [[RedemptionEqualsDeath I am remaining as well.]] [[YouAreNotAlone I am nearby.]]
** To explain further: Henry, creator of the animatronics, with your help, has organised to bring all the haunted animatronics to the pizzeria, with them believing they were hiding in the air vents of the building — able to reach the child visitors and take their bodies. They aren't. Henry tricked them into becoming trapped in the air-vents with no access to the children whatsoever, and now he's going to [[TakingYouWithMe burn them all and free the child spirits within]]. It's implied that both he and the owner of this pizzeria intend to [[TogetherInDeath die with the animatronics.]]
*** This is even more of a tearjerker if you believe that the security guard for the past several games and the protagonist of one, is none other than Michael Schmidt/Afton operating under a false name, trying to undo his father's crimes, and perhaps assuage his own guilt for the accidental killing of his brother. It's finally over.
* Poor Elizabeth Afton. Her spirit has been stuck in Circus Baby for so long that she's lost her sanity and has gone from being a normal child to becoming violent, murderous, and seeking approval from her father who caused her state in the first place.
* If you believe the protagonist of this game to be Michael Afton, then two of the death quotes from Springtrap and Baby become even more upsetting. It's one of Springtrap's few spoken lines where he doesn't hiss or growl and his voice sounds relatively normal, and the obviously sad and wistful tone of Baby's voice makes it even worse.
-->'''Scraptrap:''' [[OffingTheOffspring Bittersweet, but fitting.]]
-->'''Scrap Baby:''' [[SiblingMurder You're not who I expected to see...]]
* The Fruity Maze minigame seems to imply that Afton lured a child to her death by specifically playing off her trauma of recently losing a pet that got ran over. [[TheWoobie Poor kid.]]
--> "He is not really dead. He is over here. Follow me..."
----
-->[[CallBack Good job, sport.]]
