14	Arguably, ''WesternAnimation/TrollsWorldTour'' was DarkerAndEdgier than the [[WesternAnimation/{{Trolls}} original]] was ever trying to be. So obviously, there were going to be some more sad moments.

16	* At the beginning of the film, Branch tries to confess to Poppy his feelings for her but he CannotSpitItOut. Then she tells him she loves being his ''[[JustFriends friend]]'', [[InnocentlyInsensitive which]] causes his [[StepfordSmiler "happy"]] face to freeze while the word "friend" repeats in his head.
17	* Poppy and Branch have a minor argument about whether or not they can trust Hickory. Branch displays his concerns about Hickory being a stranger, and Poppy interprets this as Branch not trusting her. She then goes on to ask if Branch believes she’s not a good Queen. While Poppy had twisted Branch’s words, it’s hard not to feel bad for Poppy considering that she already has enough insecurities about her role as Queen challenging her.
18	** You can also feel some sympathy for Branch. Ever since he found his true colors, he’s been trying very hard to come out of his shell and be a caring friend. So when Poppy accuses Branch of believing that she is not a good Queen, nor does she believe he is acting like a true friend, you can just tell on his face how much that broke his heart.
19	* The reason for all the different trolls living in isolation? The Pop trolls' ancestors made off with all the musical strings and remixed the other trolls' music to make it their own.
20	** Going into specifics, during the middle point in the film, Poppy's goals were clear. She would meet up with [[BigBad Barb]] and reunite all the Trolls together. Then she changed the mission to stop Barb when she realized what was actually happening. But when she meets the Funk Trolls, this is shot down instantly after they tell her [[WrittenBytheWinners that the scrapbook lied]], and what ''really'' happened was the Pop Trolls stole the strings all along, which caused the other leaders to go their separate ways. They sing an [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvDHMCpC8pE incredibly emotional and powerful song]], [[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic part of which is sung by]] [[Music/GeorgeClinton GEORGE CLINTON]], and this all causes Poppy, the ''queen'' of the Pop Trolls, [[BreakTheCutie to feel guilt as she is clearly in shock from being decieved.]] And this is all from a ''Trolls'' movie.
