Galactic Heroes is another one of the series books for the tabletop game, TabletopGame/CartoonActionHour. Created by Spectrum Games head Cynthia Celeste Miller, this fictional EpicFailure cartoon is where two of the three Game Mascots come from.

The story deals with Jason Bravesteel and his Sidekick Ricky Munson getting stuck in a far-away galaxy ruled by EvilOverlord Kargorr and his Imperial Order, and trying to help the Allegiance overthrow Kargorr. InUniverse, the series quickly came to be regarded as absolutely godawful and was abruptly yanked off the air after running only six episodes; see TroubledProduction for more details.

Absolutely no relation to Literature/LegendOfTheGalacticHeroes.

!!Galactic Tropes:
* BeardOfEvil: Kargorr's sinister goatee.
* TheBeastmaster: Bestial Betty has "the ability to summon and control animals".
* BigBad: What Kargorr thinks he is.
* BigBadWannabe: What Kargorr actually is.
* BoisterousBruiser: "Lugg is a jovial fellow, at least to those he likes. To his enemies, he's a vicious powerhouse who is nearly impossible to stop."
* BountyHunter: Skarfist, who works for Kargorr because he gets "an obscene amount of riches".
* CatchPhrase: Kargorr's "Bah!"
* ChristmasEpisode: Meta-example: Rumor has it that the in one of the unaired episodes, SantaClaus beats up Kargorr.
* DefectorFromDecadence: Ophelia Onyx's family raised her to support Kargorr and his empire, but she always knew they were evil, and she JumpedAtTheCall to join the Allegiance.
* Egopolis: Kargorr named the base of his Imperial Order Kargorr City.
* TheEmpire: The Imperial Order.
* ExpositoryThemeTune: It was originally a (bad) InstrumentalThemeTune before (even worse) lyrics were added.
* GreenRocks: Krellstone has "magical properties" which the writers never defined, but which are powerful enough that Kargorr is always trying to steal the rare mineral.
* TheHero: Jason Bravesteel.
* KidHero: Ricky Munson.
* Lady Not-Appearing-In-This Series: Vanyssa Montclaire, who's only in the missing episodes.
* MadScientist: Dr. Devastation, whose idea of fun is creating fifty-foot snails, disintegrator guns and poisonous mechanical locusts ForScience
* The Woman Behind The Man: Bestial Betty, Kargorr's niece, who "controls things from behind the curtain" and is waiting for her chance to become TheStarscream.
* Mummy: "Curse of the Crypt King" has one, along with associated tropes such as Adventurer Archaeologists and a CurseOfThePharaoh that affects both the Allegiance and the Empire.
* LaResistance: The Allegiance, the interplanetary organization that opposes Kargorr's empire.
* ShoutOut: While borrowing from a lot of classic (and awful) cartoons of the decade, the greatest resemblance is to WesternAnimation/Bravestarr.
* SidekickCreatureNuisance: Ziggle turns this trope up to eleven! "He giggles about nearly everything, even in inappropriate situations, and he consistently gets his comrades in deep trouble due to his incompetence."
* TrappedInAnotherWorld: Happens to Jason and Ricky as the series begins, allowing them to get involved with the Allegiance and their battle against Kargorr.
* TroubledProduction: InUniverse, this is the cause of the show's notorious reputation, because the series was given to a studio that wasn't prepared to pump out a SixtyFiveEpisodeCartoon in a year. "This led to everything, from the writing to the animation, being rushed. Actually, 'slop-jobbed' would be a more appropriate term." The results include:
** EpicFail: Somehow, all 65 episodes were completed on schedule, but they were so bad that only six of them aired before every station running the series decided to drop it. The other 59 remain Missing Episodes, although their scripts have surfaced.
** TheOtherDarrin: Kargorr has a different voice in every episode, because the actors hired to play him all hated the series and character so much that they kept quitting. invoked
* Unobtainium: Krellstone, a valuable mineral that's found only on the planet Brightstarr.
* VillainSue: InvokedTrope. Vanyssa Montclaire, one of Kargorr's dragons in the missing episodes, is a "charismatic leader" with a "genius intellect", a "keen strategic mind", "insanely efficient fighting skills", and she even rules her own planet... all of which raises the question of why Kargorr is the BigBad instead of her.
* WhereIWasBornAndRazed: Kargorr grew up on a world called Boopygoochie, whose inhabitants constantly picked on him. He left for a while, then got his revenge when he returned with an army that trashed the entire planet.
