A Creator/GameShowNetwork adaptation of a Belgian format, in which five contestants have an opportunity to get the number 1 spot or fall down to the number 5 spot with trivia-related questions for a shot at $10,000.

A SpeedRound starts the show off, in which contestants get their starting places. If the contestant buzzing in gets the question right, they proceed to the highest spot possible, and if they get it wrong, they go to the lowest spot possible. After four questions, the main game begins.

The host then asks a question and players make their selections. In most cases, the host will ask a player what they selected and why. The twist of the game is when a person gets it right and the contestants ahead of them get it wrong, they immediately switch to their new positions.[[labelnote:For example...]]If the contestants at spots 1, 2 and 5 get it right, but those at 3 and 4 get it wrong, the person from number 5 moves to number 3, those at 1 and 2 stay, while the rest move one spot down.[[/labelnote]] Play continues until 5 questions in Round 1, in which the person in the number 5 position is eliminated from play. This repeats itself in the next two rounds (the number of questions equals the number of players) without any major changes. The one in the number one spot at the end of Round 3 earns $1,000 and advances to the [[BonusRound Big Switch]].

!!This show provides examples of:

* BonusRound: The “Big Switch”. The contestant starts at the number 5 spot and must answer questions to reach the number 1 spot [[TimedMission in 60 seconds]]. A right answer moves them up one spot, a wrong answer moves them back one spot. If the player answers a question correctly while being at the number 1 spot, they win $10,000.
* CatchPhrase: “It is time to [[TitleDrop Switch!]]” - said every time when contestants had to swap positions.
* DarkHorseVictory: This game show makes it all possible. If someone in the lowest spot manages to get the final question right and everyone else gets it wrong, it’s a huge blow to the one ahead of the contestant. [[https://youtu.be/LqhnlTqJvqg Here’s one painful example]].
* GameShowHost / NoIndoorVoice: Creator/{{Jeff Hephner}}.
* StrictlyFormula: The main part of the game is basically the same thing for all three rounds, with the only changes being the number of remaining contestants and questions needed.
