1''Hollywood Television Theatre'' was an anthology series produced by station KCET in UsefulNotes/LosAngeles for Creator/{{PBS}}, with the purpose of adapting stage plays for the small screen. It aired between 1970 and 1978 and featured early appearances by many distinguished members of the acting fraternity.

3Some episodes were released in the mid-'80s by International Video Entertainment, and a bunch of others would later see VHS and/or DVD release by Kultur Video as part of its Broadway Theatre Archive series.
