''Degrassi Talks'' is a six-part miniseries that aired on CBC in February 1992. Filmed and produced before the ''[[Film/DegrassiSchoolsOut School's Out]]'' movie but aired a month after, the series follows six actors from ''Series/DegrassiJuniorHigh'' and ''Series/DegrassiHigh'' as they interview teens and young adults across all of Canada about the topics they tackled in the show. To date, it is the final piece of media to be released from the original ''Degrassi'' generation.

To coincide with the TV program, there was also a series of companion books, which were, for the most part, the television episodes in print form, save for the inclusion of extra interviews and content left out of the TV version for time. These books were prefaced with candid biographies about the actor who hosted the original episode; you can read those [[https://web.archive.org/web/20060525023042/http://degrassitalks.degrassi.ca/ here]].

It can be found on both the North American and Australian complete series box sets for ''Degrassi Junior High'', and also on Amazon Prime Video in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

!!Tropes:
* DoItYourselfThemeTune: The theme song was written by Keith White (Tim O'Connor) and sung by he and Creator/StacieMistysyn (Caitlin Ryan). At the time, they were pursuing music together. It was recorded in Saltspring Island, British Columbia, while they were still traveling for the show, and they ended up acquiring the studio's mixer.
* DrivenToSuicide: One of the interviewees of the ''Depression'' episode, Carol, who previously appeared in the episode ''Sex'' with partner Don, took her own life shortly after being interviewed for the show. This is revealed in an on-screen disclaimer and voiceover by Pat Mastroianni, right after we see Carol say that she doesn't want to be depressed anymore and that she wanted to get on with her life.
* FaceOnTheCover: Each book has a shot of the actor who hosted the original episode, holding the video equipment they used.
* FalseCameraEffects: The man-on-the-street interviews are framed as if they are being seen through a viewfinder.
* HugeGuyTinyGirl: In ''Alcohol'', we see Amanda Stepto interview a bunch of metalheads at a party, all of whom are a foot taller than her.
* TravelogueShow: Somewhat. Although the show isn't exactly about the destinations, the premise is still very much about travelling everywhere.
