* Music/{{America}} (On British Music and American Music because it was formed by American military brats in England. They recorded a lot of their music on that side of the pond but after the first album was based in California)
* Music/TheBand (most of the band were Canadian and started their careers in Canada; also had American members and operated in Woodstock, New York)
* Music/BuffaloSpringfield (around half the membership were Canadian, based in Los Angeles in its lifetime)
* Music/DerekAndTheDominos (British and American members, based in America)
* Music/FleetwoodMac (a British band with American members at its peak, and was based in Los Angeles around the time)
* Music/MortGarson (Canadian, embarked on a music career throughout the United States)
* Music/JimiHendrix (unmistakably American, but his best known music is as the frontman of the Jimi Hendrix Experience, an English band. As such both are fitting with all output indexed in American and the Jimi Hendrix Experience under British)
* Music/ManfredMann (an interesting case; the man himself did come from South Africa but the band was formed in London after he emigrated from the former. Both could work)
* Music/MyBloodyValentine (Irish band with British members, including the frontman)
* Music/ThePolice (English band with American drummer, so not so high-priority on American Media)
* Music/{{Pretenders}} (English band with American frontwoman, so not so high-priority on American Media)
* Music/CarlosSantana / Music/{{Santana}} (the latter is clearly an American band; Carlos was born and raised in Mexico but made his career in America, and so fits better under both indexes than his band does)
* Music/SystemOfADown (listed under ArmenianMedia and AmericanMusic. The members are of Armenian descent and it plays a role in their music, but putting it in Armenian Media is a bit of a stretch)
* Music/TheTravelingWilburys (high-profile British and American members, based in America)

''Cloud Nine'' is the eleventh album by English musician Music/GeorgeHarrison, released on 2 November 1987 through Dark Horse Records. After being initially being frustrated with the changing trends in music and suspending recording in the early 80s, he had reemerged in the middle of the decade and approached Jeff Lynne - formerly of the Music/ElectricLightOrchestra - to record his first album in five years. The result was a commercial success, inspiring Harrison to create more music, then the following year forming Music/TheTravelingWilburys with Lynne, Music/BobDylan, Music/RoyOrbison and Music/TomPetty. This was the final album released in his life, with his next and final album ''Brainwashed'' released a year after his death.

''Cloud Nine'' is supported with "Got My Mind Set on You" (which hit #1 in the US and the UK), "When We Was Fab" and "This Is Love" as singles, and "Devil's Radio" and "Cloud 9" as promotional tracks.

''Sweetheart of the Rodeo'' is the sixth album by the American rock band Music/TheByrds, released on August 30, 1968 through Creator/ColumbiaRecords. It was the first album without any input from Music/DavidCrosby, who had been fired midway through the recording of their prior album ''The Notorious Byrd Brothers''. In his place was Gram Parsons, initially recruited to be a jazz pianist before eventually switching to rhythm guitar. The album was conceived to be a double album going over the themes of Americana and incorporating various genres, but along the way only the country music exploration remained, consisting of folk and country covers as well as Parsons' two original compositions.

At the time of release, the album did not perform well commercially among either pop or country audiences, both respectively apprehensive of their vision, and Parsons would leave the band alongside Chris Hillman to form Music/TheFlyingBurritoBrothers. In spite of this failure, it is seen as a pivotal development in country rock, with several subsequent acts following in its steps.

Released with two singles, "You Ain't Going Nowhere" and "I Am a Pilgrim".
