* 1... 2... 3... [[BlatantLies NEAR FALL!]]
* The Michael Cole trollface.
* The {{swear jar}}... which was later replaced by a clip of Wrestling/{{Danhausen}} saying "No swearing!"
* Making light of the name of TNA's "Genesis" PPV by likening it to the UsefulNotes/SegaGenesis[=/=]Mega Drive (at least up until Botchamania 199 anyway).
* QUACK QUACK! *sees [=1PW=] logo overhead* "Oh, '''bloody''' hell!"
* [[{{Music/Metallica}} "I am the table!"]] after a montage of wrestlers failing to break tables.
** After Maffew figured out that in Japanese wrestling promotions, tables never get broken, no matter how heavy your victim is or how much force they land on it with (specifically, match between W*ING Kanemura and Wrestling/BallsMahoney at ''Wrestling/{{FMW}} Judgement Day''). Once in a while, whenever a table remains safe and sound even after slamming, the camera zooms into the said table, with [[VideoGame/TheKingOfFighters Iori Yagami]] doing his [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JICUzFXN3uo trademark laugh]] in the background. This would later evolve into other kinds of famous laughs.
** Tables that break when they ''aren't'' supposed to are [[EvilBrit "British."]]
** Tables that collapse back onto the wrestlers going through them are "[[FrenchJerk French]]." (see also "Let's All Laugh at the Hardys")
** Tables that might've broken... had the wrestler not overshot them by a mile: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIgfiSzCy1o J. Jonah Jameson]]. ("...are you ''serious?''") Soon to be replaced by [[Film/CapeFear Max Cady]]. The table actually has "'''this is a Cape Fear reference'''" scribbled in UsefulNotes/MSPaint. Bonus: In his first OSW appearance, Maffew grumbles that his Facebook followers [[SmallReferencePools don't get his references]].
** Later episodes feature [[Music/KanyeWest "How I ain't bring nothing to the table when I'm the table"]] being followed up with the "I am the table!" guitar riff.
* ''[[Film/BlazingSaddles "Never mind that shit... Here comes Mongo!"]]'', the Mongo in this case being Wrestling/{{WCW}} wrestler Steve "Mongo" [=McMichael=]. Botchamania 206 [[SubvertedTrope revised this segment]] to pun on WWE's famous "Here Comes the Pain" tagline for Wrestling/BrockLesnar, as a setup to 2012's ''Extreme Rules'' [=PPV=], which featured Lesnar's in-ring return.
* The quote from Madame de Staël: "'''In life, one must choose between boredom and suffering'''"
** #194 opened with "'''Boredom'''" represented by a photo of interim RAW general manager and executive vice-president of talent relations Wrestling/JohnLaurinaitis, while "'''Suffering'''" was accompanied by a picture of [[Wrestling/{{TNA}} Dixie Carter]]. Followed by, "'''de Staël is dead. [[TakeAThirdOption There's always an alternative]]'''," and a picture of Wrestling/{{CHIKARA}}'s Wrestling/UltraMantisBlack. Following episodes have repeated the gag with other WWE personalities (Wrestling/TripleH, Wrestling/MichaelCole, Wrestling/TheMiz) as "'''Boredom'''" and TNA personalities ([[InvincibleHero Crimson]], [[GangBangers Anarquia]], Wrestling/KurtAngle) as "'''Suffering'''".
** #199 turned it into a harsh TakeThat aimed at Perez Hilton, whose face was used for both "'''Boredom'''" ''and'' "'''Suffering'''". #201, #202 and #203 do the same thing, with the Wrestling/BellaTwins, the Great Khali and Wrestling/VinceRusso, respectively (more specifically, TNA sans Russo was "'''Boredom'''" while TNA ''with'' Russo was "'''[[SadisticChoice Suffering]]'''".
** Subverted in #204 with "'''Suffering'''" showing Wrestling/MarkHenry, but in small text below saying "'''from injuries every week, poor fucker'''"
* Maffew keeps throwing [[Wrestling/TheWrestlingObserverNewsletter Bryan Alvarez's]] infamous ''[[PunctuatedForEmphasis MINUS! FIVE! STARS!]]'' every time he has a really egregious match to show.
* "Everybody talks... '''''Too much'''''", followed by Wrestling/TheUndertaker going for a chokeslam on Wrestling/ShawnMichaels. Wrestling/JohnCena and Wrestling/{{Paige}} indulged in this so much that they got their own segment intros (a rap-themed one using a Run DMC song and a pop-oriented one, respectively). After Taker's streak ended, it was replaced with Darth Vader giving the force choke in #271, but Taker returned soon after. Then it would get replaced by other wrestlers or people outside of wrestling saying the same: [[Wrestling/KanakoUrai Asuka]] telling it to Nia Jax, Wrestling/BaronCorbin telling it to Wrestling/TheMiz, [[ComicBook/TheMightyThor Thor]] [[Film/AvengersInfinityWar telling it to]] ComicBook/{{Thanos}}, and so on. At some point since then, it seemed that every other week some WWE wrestler would find a way to insert that phrase into their promos, to the point that Maffew is able to feature a new different mention for every video (and leave Botchamania fans wondering if the wrestlers are fans of Botchamania who want to get included into the show, which is not quite far-fetched).
* Get a fact (any fact) wrong during a wrestling show, and it will be countered by the famous ''[[Wrestling/RicFlair "Huh?"]]''
* Before showing clips from Wrestling/{{CZW}}, he adds a clip of someone pulling a lever or pressing a button (originally this was with Creator/ConanOBrien pulling his Chuck Norris lever, but this has expanded into other works such as [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRj8b2hjIM0 Darkwing Duck]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jerkojABIl8 Mario Party]], often made by fans and [[ThrowItIn chosen by Maffew himself]]) accompanied by CZW's Zandig shouting, '''''[[NoIndoorVoice "JYEEEZUS!"]]'''''
* After Wrestling/TheUndertaker [[SpecialEffectFailure got himself caught on fire]], thanks to the pyro, on the 2010's ''Elimination Chamber'', Maffew reused the footage of him being blown up two more times: one when Wrestling/JohnCena attempts to repeat Wrestling/{{Kane}}'s fire trick and one when Wrestling/KofiKingston's pyro apparently ''didn't'' work during his entrance.
* [[{{Film/JFK}} "Back and to the left."]]
* Wrestling/HulkHogan's yappapi match promos. Can be used either by putting it into a DistressedDude montage or because "yapapi" just sounds too similar to the words "apple pie."
** Also used whenever he has a list of moments to go over, using Hogan's "Number one!" and "Number two!" and then adding Vince [=McMahon=] when he gets to "Number THREE!"
* [[Wrestling/JimCornette FUCK THIS COMPANY.]] Always accompanied by the Cornette face, which has since become an AscendedMeme with Cornette using it.
* Maffew playing a video game (be it ''VideoGame/StarFox64'' or ''[[VideoGame/{{Oddworld}} Abe's Oddysee]]''), with the ''[[LargeHam "NOBODY DOES THIS TO ZANDIG!"]]'' quotes of [=CZW=] fame thrown in.
* [[WesternAnimation/KingOfTheHill Bobby]]... [[Franchise/WinnieThePooh Roo]]![[note]]Wrestling/BobbyRoode of TNA fame. Announcers always tend to pronounce his name as "[[RougeAnglesOfSatin Bobby Roo]]." Maffew usually accompanies this with a picture of Roo from ''Winnie-the-Pooh.''[[/note]]
* Prefacing CHIKARA clips with "Promotional consideration is paid for by the following."
* "[person] {{corpsing}}? [[Wrestling/RandySavage SEND FOR THE MAN!"]]
** Later episodes replaced Randy Savage with Wrestling/BeckyLynch when she adopted the nickname, "The Man", although Savage would return around Botchamania 400 (with the occasional reference to Lynch afterwards).
** For AEW corpses, it's 'Send for the Khan', with either shots of Tony Khan or other characters named Khan.
* [[Wrestling/TheIronSheik "And besides that, everything was great."]], to cap off an event where many, many things have gone wrong.
* After any time a clip from [[Wrestling/TheWrestlingObserverNewsletter Wrestling Observer Radio]] is played:
-->'''[[WesternAnimation/GarfieldAndFriends Garfield]] (with Dave Meltzer's face):''' Thank you, thank you, we have a great show for you tonight folks. And I just wanna remind you of our motto: If they say it on ''[Wrestling Observer Radio]''... It Must Be True!
* Playing "That's Not My Name" by The Ting Tings over footage of whenever a wrestler's name is misspelled or gotten completely wrong.
* Introducing segments devoted to defunct promotion ''5 Star Wrestling'' with [[WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons Elvis shooting the TV]].
* [[Wrestling/TheIronSheik "FAHCKIN BOOLSCHEET"]], as the show's sign-off sound, or just generally as a reference to the show itself. (The "FACK" being the first clip used in the 1999 Smackdown variant of the intro VoiceClipSong helps)
** Combining it with the Mermaid Sisters' song from ''Anime/CaroleAndTuesday'' is used for this purpose too.
* "Thanks [[Wrestling/TheMiz Miz]]" (shows up any time a wrestler fails to catch his opponent using suicide dive on him, referring to The Miz's inability to catch people on dives properly).
* "It's [[Wrestling/JimRoss ROSS]] [[Wrestling/SashaBanks TIME!]]", to introduce segments of Jim Ross' slipups.
** Wrestling/{{Taz|z}} gets a shot of an Oompa Loompa (being short and orange, it invites mocking comparisons with Taz) captioned with "Insipid Taz Commentary".[[note]]It was originally used for Taz's commentary on WWE and TNA, it got resurrected after several years of being inactive when Taz was signed on as a commentator for AEW.[[/note]]
** [[Wrestling/BigShow Paul Wight]] gets a long intro with a Pop Cat wearing a Big Show beanie waiting in silence before going "WEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL..."
* People who fuck up dives get a rating screen from ''VideoGame/{{Pilotwings}}''.
