2	It is a strange day in Strangeness Heights. Then again, it is always a strange day in Strangeness Heights. Founded years ago as a safehaven for those considered freaks or monsters, it has always been a bastion for the supernatural and paranormal. Vampires, werewolves, and demons roam the streets, standing side by side with wizards, prophethic maniacs, or the old Joe Schmoe that wanders in. Buildings and architecture come to life, whether it be via a mad sorcerer on a bender, or forces beyond comprehension. Drug dealers peddle curses and potions in run-down shops and back-alleys. Mad scientists sell body grafts and augmentations, regularly pushing the boundaries of ethical practice. Ghosts wander the night skies alongside ghouls and mad witches on broomsticks. The strange and bizarre is a fact of life, and it's the normal that is considered unordinary. \

4	However, even a town such as this needs heroes to protect it. For occasionally, there are things that even the most unfazed residents cannot handle. Strange rifts in spacetime that swallow up anyone that gets near. Pocket dimensions found within your cupboards or the closet that lead to realms most obscene. Strange creatures coming up from the local sewers. Men in dark cloaks abducting townsfolk in the middle of the night. Even rumors of something old and ancient beyond comprehension sleeping beneath the surface. Or just the odd scuffle between a fire-breathing demon and a holier than thou angel that gets out of hand. \

6	Whatever the reason, this town needs those willing and able to defend it from threats that the police are not equipped to handle. In turn, it also needs a place to train such heroes until they ready for the task that awaits them. Enter Strange Academy. Just as strange and bizarre as the town itself, it's well suited for the task of training young heroes who have a higher calling. Or those who could once be called 'normal', only to be thrust into strangeness. Or perhaps just those with nowhere else to go. Whatever the reason, it's a place for them to belong. And become whatever they were meant to be. \

12	My Suburban Heroic Fantasy is an Urban Fantasy RP, albeit with a twist. The gist is that you're a new student at Strange Academy, a strange school located in a strange town where the bizarre and paranormal is an everyday part of life. Alongside the usual weirdness and danger of everyday life in such a place, the school itself has its own secrets. As does the town. Whether they're ready or not, the students will have to deal with whatever strange threats or unnatural oddities come their away. So you had best be prepared.

21	* TwentyMinutesIntoTheFuture: The game begins on 1 September 2037.
22	* AcademyOfAdventure: Well, see above. Its a school for heroes in the middle of a town called ''Strangeness Heights''.
23	* AerithAndBob: Alongside 'Justin' and 'Alex', there are names like 'Nestan' and 'Soheila'.
24	* BigBrotherIsWatching: After the students' trip into the forest, the town almost instituted an all seeing eye over events, only for protest to shut down the development.
25	* CapePunk: Despite the name, it is more of a superhero-ish setting. Killing is highly discouraged for one and the setting is modern.
26	* CastFullOfCrazy: Surprisingly averted, going against tradition. Students may be shy or nervous but only a handful have severe issues and they get the immediate attention of everyone else. Heck, Alex tells a troubled student to get help and explains how in the first class.
27	* ColdHam: Soheila [[ChewingTheScenery devours scenery like its her last meal]], and somehow speaks in an even tone the entire time.
28	* TheCorruptible: Justin is this in neon lights. And no one really knows what motivates Raj. [[spoiler: And, as it turns out, Katherine too.]]
29	* TheCutie: Micah as soon as he was introduced.
30	* GodsNeedPrayerBadly: The familiar gods in this setting are sort of {{tulpa}}. The [[EldritchAbomination eldritch abominations]] are... other.
31	* HeadbuttingHeroes: Justin vs Gremory. It used to be a [[SitcomArchNemesis pettier rivalry]] based off Gremory's first impression and the two failing to reconcile, [[spoiler:but now Gremory revealed to Justin that he may be a human prophesied to ruin his family and Justin has happily declared his intent to fulfill that prophecy.]]
32	* HeroicBuild: Justin naturally and Nestan... if anyone ever saw under her heavy clothes.
33	** Fala's certainly not svelte either.
34	* TheMasquerade: Strangeness Heights has a morally ambiguous version. While super and paranormal people have been out and about since Saint exposed them and have gone back in forth in public perception, this particular town is a HiddenElfVillage and InvisibleToNormals.
35	* NotWearingTights: Even moreso than the MSA series. None of the students has a codename and only one a costume.
36	* PhlebotinumPills: Katherine took 'aspirin' to resolve her headache. They ended up transforming her into a psychic with a third eye and a completely rewritten personality.
37	* PoweredArmor: A staple of Justin tech and Alex's abilities.

39	** It needs not even be said that Alex is a Fullmetal Alchemist.
40	** Justin names his little drones after Magic the Gathering creatures, befitting his nerdy characterization. Some darker implications come from the ''Inkmoths'', especially given their [[ScaryDogmaticAliens creators.]]
41	** Another from Justin. Talking about teamwork shouldn't be unnerving. Justin awkwardly grinning and using the same turn of phrase as [[WesternAnimation/InfinityTrain Simon Laurent]] right before that character had an exceedingly infamous moment [[TheUnSmile on the]] [[StepfordSmiler other hand...]]
42	* TheShrink: The students get the nice if brand new ingenue, appropriately named 'Katherine Ingenue'. While Katherine stays a shrink, she doesn't stay an ingenue. She spent some time as a PsychoPsychologist after staring into the abyss that is Soheila.
43	* SoftReboot: The second [[note]]Sort of. The first MSA, aka V1, had a 'retcon wave' in its second season.[[/note]] such reboot, set in a new town and 15 years in the future.
44	* SuperheroGods: Here we have the humble [[SuspiciouslySpecificDenial not-a-god]], Soheila
45	* SuperheroSchool: The premise, albeit, they're in a town where the majority of the inhabitants are super or paranormal.
46	* TooManyCooksSpoilTheSoup: The first proper fight against invading spirits. One student tries to blast them all. Another tries to do everything. Another tried to clobber them. It does not end well.
