In a divergent timeline of VisualNovel/FateStayNight where every Grail War since the first not only failed but the Holy Grail ritual has itself been copied all over the world, disaster ensued as the True Grail in Fuyuki vanished, just as a Counterfeit Grail in Pennsylvania was used to summon a monster which can threaten the world. It was later discovered that both Grails, as well as every true and fake version of the Holy Grail which ever existed, had been amalgamated into a 'Grand Grail' whose influence was felt all over the world, allowing Servants to be summoned everywhere on the planet.

Now, the Magus Association is sundered into two factions seeking the Grail: The Arcadia Network, which seeks to strengthen the world's Mystery by making people believe the supernatural exists without revealing Magecraft, and the Sangreal Crusade, which seeks the Grail through traditional means - research and the pursuit of Enlightenment. All the while, Independents see the low-level civil war and the openings caused by this sundering to advance their own agendas...

This is the story of Fate/Orbis Telos, a roleplay site formed in 2016 that takes Fate/Stay Night's setting and expands it to global proportions. Though the site is primarily focused on the Holy Grail War, it integrates elements from all works set in the .

Currently in the middle of its fourth chapter as of 8/9/2020.

----
!!Fate/Orbis Telos has shown the following tropes:
* AdaptationalBadass: Yggdmillenia, even without Darnic, their canonical leader, is a genuine thorn to the Clock Tower and is somehow allied with the Wandering Sea/Sea of Estray and the Salem Foundation, the US Government's secret agency for supernatural affairs.
* AlternateHistory: Part and parcel for the setting, with China being an Absolute Monarchy under the Qing and the United Kingdom's ruling house naming themselves 'Tudor' instead of Windsor. Oh, and Lucius Tiberius was the last Western Roman Emperor instead of Romulus Augustulus.
* AlternateTimeline: One where the Third Holy Grail War in Fuyuki never happened. Also, Noritaka Emiya never messed with Vampirism, Kiritsugu married Shirley and had a daughter (Sachiko Emiya of the Prague Association), and then Noritaka got killed anyway after causing the IRL Fukushima disaster in 2011, with Kiritsugu himself continuing to live till the present day.
* AllMythsAreTrue: Natch.
* : With a twist.
* BeachEpisode: Several, including a Luau of Kings between all the game's monarchs, and a pool party at a Florida resort set up by Adam and Eve (who are a Ruler-class Combination Servant in this world).
* BlueBlood: What many members of the Clock Tower see themselves as, due to many of them having connections to European aristocracy or even actual royal families.
* BossRush: The best way to describe plot threads and certain Events.
* CharacterMagneticTeam: The royal family of Luxembourg and their allies.
* ChurchMilitant: The Holy Church organization.
* CorruptCorporateExecutive: The Arcadia Network, which sought to foster belief in the supernatural without revealing Magecraft itself by turning the Grail War into a Reality TV show. They failed miserably.
* EnlightenmentSuperpowers: The way for characters to unlock True Magic is to reach The Root, which in the Nasuverse is the source of all Magic.
* ExperiencePoints: Every post with 300+ words gives four Fate Points/FP. These can be used to buy upgrades, new skills, and new Mystic Codes. Essentially, the more one posts, the more one can buy. One can also get additional points for participating in special in-game Events, or if it is one's birthday, and there are a few weeks each year where one can earn double FP for the same amount of work.
* Expy: Too many of them, if we take the site's Face Claim system into account.
* HalfHumanHybrid: Mixed-Blood characters, which include not just the Half-Oni from , but also Hybrids of other Phantasmal Species, such as Faeries and Lycanthropes.
* HeroicBystander: Independent/Neutral characters can be this, but others chase their own agendas, whether 'heroic' or 'not'.
* HighSchoolAU: Fate/Stay High, an unfortunately-named April Fools' thread placing all the characters in high school.
* HistoricalGenderFlip: Too many to count.
* MagicalSociety: Magic is real in this world, and there are many supernatural organizations, such as the Clock Tower, Atlas and others. Note that the larger Mages' Association, which in canon governs most Magi, has been split into two coalitions, the Arcadia Network (which includes the Salem Foundation, Sea of Estray/Wandering Sea, and Yggdmillenia) and the Sangreal Crusade (Atlas Academy, Clock Tower, and Demon Hunters' Organization).
* TheMenInBlack: The setting's portrayal of Strange/Fake's Government Conspiracy is the Salem Foundation, an organization which thinks of themselves as US Government Agents first, Magi second, and actually believe in their own country's welfare before the advancement of their Magecraft. They are also part of the wider Arcadia Network.
* OurVampiresAreDifferent: Dead Apostles, which is a species players can play as, and can later be upgraded into Dead Apostle Ancestors.
* PsychicPowers: What Mystic Eyes essentially are.
* RagtagBunchOfMisfits: The setting's portrayal of Yggdmillennia, which is now an umbrella group of people oppressed and neglected by the norms and conventions of Magi society and willing to strike back. This is enforced by a rule saying that no Yggdmillenia player character can have a Magic Crest higher than C-Rank if they have a Crest at all. They, like the Salem Foundation, are part of the wider Arcadia Network.
* RuleOfFunny: The Tiger Dojo. It starts with a cooking competition judged by Gilgamesh, Arthur and Ozymandias, and only gets sillier from there.
* RunningGag:
** e l e v e n
* TheShangriLa: One of the first chapter's settings.
* ThereCanBeOnlyOne: The original objective of the Holy Grail War was to make sure there is only one Master and Servant pair to make a wish on the Greater Grail.
* TournamentArc: A site event was planned to be hosted involving a Lesser Grail War, where the main focus would be Servant battles.
