->''"It will not be an easy road, " he said, old voice somber. "I can only be grateful for the fact that I was able to escape here to tell you of the danger. There will be no reward other than survival. Even so. Will you help us fight in this Game of Gods?"''

-->-- '''Yee, played by troydenite in ''A Game of Gods Infinities''.'''

Launched in summer 2011, ''A Game of Gods: Infinities'' is the third installment in the ''Roleplay/ChroniclesOfTheGods'' series. It is also notable for being the first direct sequel, as opposed to a spinoff, and for delving into the past to explore the origins of the Nomads and their culture.

A year after the events of ''Roleplay/AGameOfGods'', a group of new Challengers are summoned by a mysterious force to an ancient crystalline city. However, they are soon caught up in a storm of new events, and are forced to travel across the multiverse as they fight for their lives. Soon they encounter the Remnants- distant ancestors of the original Nomads, who seem to have a dark secret of their own to hide...

!!''A Game Of Gods: Infinities'' contains examples of:
* AbortedArc: Both the Magical Girl challenge and the Tetris challenge ended early due to troubled production.
* BreatherEpisode: Two instances that were {{enforced|Trope}} by the [=GMs=].
** The MagicalGirl challenge, contrasting with the predecessor, which was more whamish than usual.
** The Series/{{M|ysteryScienceTheater3000}}ST3K challenge as well, mostly because it's a {{MST}}ing of cheesy fanfic.
* CallBack: A few thus far. Notably the reappearance of former Champion [[VideoGame/BrutalLegend Eddie Riggs]] when a challenge occurs in his world.
%%* {{Cancellation}}: The MagicalGirl challenge; its [[@/AnnoR GM]] quit the game in its middle.
* ChekhovsGun: Duck Dodgers' trick of [[CartoonPhysics pulling off his beak and still talking with it]] is used to [[spoiler:snap Fluttershy out of her UnstoppableRage]].
* DirtyCoward: The conman in the Recettear challenge completely freaks out when he's caught.
%%* HurricaneOfPuns: The ''Literature/{{Xanth}}'' challenge, full stop.
%%* LevelAte: The world of Manga/{{Toriko}}.
* LetsSplitUpGang: Pretty much mandatory. The entire group together is so large most enemies wouldn't stand a chance. Special mention goes to the ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons'' challenge, with three main groups out fixing various problems, another group stuck in the Tesseract, and Johnny doing odd jobs around Riverrock.
* LetsYouAndHimFight: Nearly everyone began to fight each other in the beginning; Garland and Scorpion in particular had set up a duel with each other.
* MoodWhiplash:
** In one challenge, we have people who [[VideoGame/{{Recettear}} are helping out a cute shop owner by running said shop for her while other people assist her in dungeon crawling]]. In the other? Your typical ''VideoGame/LeagueOfLegends'' Skirmish.
** In one challenge, we have people who are in [[Literature/{{Xanth}} a world filled with bad puns]]. In the other, [[WesternAnimation/BeastMachines A grimdark technological world where robots hunt down biotechnological robots]] and innocent people [[CorruptTheCutie become brainwashed robots]].
** In one challenge, we have people who are in [[Manga/{{Toriko}} a fantasy land filled with food]]. In the other, [[VideoGame/BrutalLegend a grimdark rock and roll wasteland where music is might]], and innocent people are [[CorruptTheCutie corrupted into monsters]].
** In one challenge, we have people who are mostly [[GenderFlip men turned girls]] or [[HumanityEnsues creatures turned human girls]] and become {{Magical Girl}}s, fighting off powerful threat. In the other? What happens when you put people in the board during a ''VideoGame/{{Tetris}}'' game.
%%* OlderAndWiser: The Doctor, Saren and Samurai Jack are back. Some other veterans appeared as well, but have subsequently [[RealLifeWritesThePlot disappeared without a trace]].
%%* OurMonstersAreWeird: [[VideoGame/RecettearAnItemShopsTale Ropers]] are treated and described as such. Also anything from the world of Toriko most definitely counts.
%%* RagtagBunchOfMisfits: EVERYONE!
%%* ShipTease: Fluttershy with nearly ''everyone''.
* ShoutOut:
** Scorpion tells Gi-Soo to [[Film/TheMatrix buckle his seatbelt, because Seoul just went bye-bye]].
** When Dubix offers to take over Shotaro, he tells him that [[ComicBook/JusticeLeagueCryForJustice together they can be justice]].
** When Dubix possesses Shotaro, [[Series/KamenRiderOOO his eyes go purple as his Transformation Trinkets do the transforming for him]]. And his transformed state gives him [[Series/KamenRiderKuuga black compound eyes]].
** Right before Shotaro transforms to confront a Drowned Doctor, both ''Series/KamenRiderKuuga'' and ''Series/KamenRiderDouble'' are referenced (The "I will fight for those who can't fight" speech from the former, and the "Let me show you our power" speech from the latter)
** During a conversation on the ethics of killing, Kohaku points out that [[VisualNovel/FateStayNight "People die if they're killed".]]
** Scorpion says [[WebAnimation/HomestarRunner "Words...say...talk?"]] when he gets disoriented at the beginning of the MagicalGirl challenge.
* ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill:
-->'''Mason: '''"When you've helped blow up planets and kill gods, overkill ceases to exist."
** In the MagicalGirl challenge, Fluttershy's grandfather makes a DealWithTheDevil. The next day, he shows up on a roof adjacent to Fluttershy's classroom with an M82 Barret. For those not in the know, the M82 is an anti-vehicle rifle that uses a .50 BMG cartridge. .50 BMG is the bullet type that bisects people in Rambo 4. What's funny is that an M82 has appeared in the series before, in the hands of Mason.
* TotalPartyKill: Almost; in the ''VideoGame/LeagueOfLegends'' challenge, almost all of the middle-lane team is wiped out when one of their opponents explodes in a suicide attack. [[spoiler:[[DeathIsCheap They can respawn though, so it doesn't stick.]]]]
* UltimateShowdownOfUltimateDestiny: Everyone vs. everyone else in the first act. It's then {{subverted}} when the mods decided that having people fighting each other constantly does not a good game make and decide to ban the constant fighting.
* WouldntHitAGirl: {{Subverted}} by Shotaro. He ''would'' follow this trope, had it not been for the fact that he dealt with female Dopants almost as many times as he confronted male ones, which allowed him to [[WouldHitAGirl confront]] [[WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes Roxy]].
