After receiving a hero's welcome, Jeff returns to his devoted wife Ann (Creator/GeraldineBrooks) while preparing to help UsefulNotes/{{NASA}} with the next phase of the project, but their domestic bliss is shattered when Jeff suddenly collapses one night.
