1	The Titans decide to help Cyborg conquer his fear of a monster that's summoned in darkness by hosting a sleepover.

3	* AbsurdPhobia: Cyborg's fear of Scary Teri is played up as one of these, with the other Titans mocking him for it, and stating that real monsters like Raven's father wouldn't bother pranking young children unless he was ''really'' bored.
4	* BigBlackout: The Titans Tower, at least, is completely blacked out by a power shortage.
5	* BiggerOnTheInside: Robin's blanket mansion is set up in the Titan Tower living room, but turns out to be the size of an actual mansion inside when they have to hide from Scary Teri.

9	* EarlyBirdCameo: It's not until next season that we get an episode all about Cyborg's favorite song, "The Night Begins To Shine", but he's grooving to it at the start of this episode.
10	* FaceYourFears: Cyborg faces his fear of Scary Teri in the end, and successfully traps her.
11	* HereWeGoAgain: Even after defeating Scary Teri, when the lights in Titan Tower go out again, he once again confuses the other Titans for an eight-eyed monster and starts shooting in panic.
12	* LaserGuidedKarma: The moment that Cyborg defeats Scary Teri and overcomes his fear by dispelling her with a hand mirror, the lights in Titan Tower come back on. Cyborg then slams the mirror on the ground in victory, breaking it, and the lights immediately black out again, causing Cyborg to panic.
13	* OverlyLongScream: Cyborg screams in his flashback when he sees Scary Teri. Cut to the present day and Cyborg is still screaming.

15	* {{Shapeshifter}} Scary Teri initially appears to be a floating white-haired girl with an unkempt appearance before turning into a purple demon. While chasing the Titans in the blanket mansion, she also transforms into a door to trick Beast Boy, and a snake to chase Cyborg into a room.
