In a Duckburg in [[TwentyMinutesInTheFuture fifteen years from now]], a group of tourists is visiting the city. All the usual spots... the residence of the governor of Calisota, Angus Fangus, and what remains of the Ducklair Tower, once the residence of the terrorist Donald Duck, better known as Paperinik.
Do you think there is something wrong with this scenery? So does an old friend from the future, who might have the solution... but also brings more problems.

'''Tropes Present In This Issue:'''

* ADayInTheLimelight: For Trip, the Raider's son.
* ArtisticLicense: Angus plans to run for white house, despite being an immigrant.
* BadFuture: Oh dear Barks, yes: Paperinik is a wanted terrorist and is considered dead, the TimePolice was disbanded and replaced by a society at the orders of the Organization, Lyla was deactivated and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking Angus might become the next President of the United States.]] It can be considered bad even for the Organization leaders, as they have been replaced by [[spoiler:Deugemo, with his "brother" Odin Eidolon as a puppet co-leader.]]
* BadassAndChildDuo: Paperinik spends most of the issue defending Trip from Newton and Trip's future self. However Trip is much less of TheLoad this trope usually implies...
* TheBadGuyWins: Said word for word by Paperinik.
* BigDamnHeroes: [[spoiler:In the end, the Raider arrives and puts the time continuum back on the right track.]]
* BloodKnight: The Gryphon enjoys fighting strong opponents. He even [[BullyingADragon provokes]] Paperinik to make him fight harder.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: The Organization does this to [[spoiler:One (then maybe reprogrammed and crazy would be more accurate)]] after the Gryphon captures him while bombing the Ducklair Tower. [[spoiler:They then transform him in Odin Eidolon in order to take control of the droids' business. He got free from their control and tried to undo the damage... And then he is captured and reduced to an emotionless slave]].
* ClarkKenting: Lampshaded when the Gryphon discovered Paperinik's SecretIdentity.
-->(While looking to a picture of Donald and one of Paperinik): "Mmmm... with the mask and without the mask... it wasn't so difficult after all!"
* CoolAndUnusualPunishment: When Trip declares his wish to become a superhero, the Raider forces him to write one hundred times "I'll never be a superhero". With the vowels in red and the consonants in blue.
* EvilTwin: Two takes a step further in being just like One [[spoiler:by becoming Odin Eidolon's counterpart in the form of Deugemo.]]
* {{Fanboy}}: Trip becomes one for Paperinik at the end of the issue and even hopes to become an AscendedFanboy in the future. His dad is understandably upset over this.
* ForWantOfANail: The death of the Raider in the previous issue single-handedly caused the BadFuture. Also [[spoiler:the fact that Odin takes Trip with him causes the Raider to not leave for his mission to Time Zero, therefore changing the future once again.]]
* {{Frameup}}: The Gryphon frames Paperinik for several bombings using false photos. Justified since they were made two centuries in the future, so it makes sense that they were able to fool the people of the XXI century.
* FreudianExcuse: The Gryphon hates Paperinik and ruined his life because he blames him for his father's Death. [[spoiler:Except it wasn't his fault and, more importantly, as Paperinik lampshades to him, he could have averted it.]]
* FutureMeScaresMe: Trip isn't happy about his future self, especially when he discovers that [[spoiler:he could have saved his (their?) father.]]
* HeroWithBadPublicity: Worse than ever: thanks to the Gryphon, now the whole world thinks Paperinik is a terrorist.
* ImpostorForgotOneDetail: How does Trip realizes his "father" is actually [[spoiler:the Gryphon]] in disguise? He tried to give him a new chronosail, something his dad always refused.
* LegacyCharacter: Oddly averted: the Organization adopts Trip and makes him their best agent, but instead of taking his title he call himself the Gryphon.
* MeaningfulName: Deugemo means [[spoiler:"Generated from Two"]].
* MyFavoriteShirt: Newton promises Paperinik will pay for ruining his new tie.
* MythologyGag: In the side comics that feature Trip, he frequently interacts with an imaginary version of himself who's a superhero dressed like Paperinik. While this could perfectly well be explained by him being a fan of Portrait of a Young Hero, this issue explains that he started idolizing Paperinik after he saved his life.
* OldSuperhero: If this issues's artist has one merit, is that he is able to make you feel how aged Donald really is.
* {{Revenge}}: The Gryphon's main motivation.
** RevengeBeforeReason: As Paperinik points out during his ShutUpHannibal speech. See below for more details.
* ShutUpHannibal: Paperinik does this in regard of the Gryphon's FreudianExcuse, when he states that [[spoiler:since he can time travel, he could have saved his father instead of obsessing over revenge, and that the only reason he didn't is because he loves the life as a criminal too much.]]
* TheStarscream: [[spoiler:Odin Eidolon]] and Deugemo take over the Organization from their old leaders. However [[spoiler:Odin]] is an unwilling example of it.
* TwentyMinutesInTheFuture: This issue takes place fifteen years after the regular series.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: Ok, Trip isn't sweet under any circumstance, but you wouldn't expect him to become such a sadist as an adult.
* YouKilledMyFather: The reason why The Gryphon has such a strong hate for Paperinik. However the hero rightfully points out the hypocrisy of his statement.
