* During the closing credits, there is a still of a Christmas tree screenshot from ''WesternAnimation/LadyAndTheTramp''.
* After the credits, Jiminy Cricket would announce "From all of us, to all of you: Merry Christmas! And a very Happy New Year!"
* Rereleased as Volume 8 for the 1990, and 1994 era.

!!This volume provides an example of:
* ArtShift: While most of the footage during the songs is animated, "Here Comes Santa Claus" is shown over footage of the various Christmas parades at Disneyland through the years.
* ChristmasEpisode: Since this is a Christmas themed episode, the ''Disney's Sing-Along Songs'' theme song is not featured. The 1994 re-release uses the same opening theme variant as "The Twelve Days of Christmas" does, with the Ocean Waves graphics. Incidentally, that re-release was also one of the first releases to use the updated version of the 1993 update to the ending promo that uses the exact same video and audio but with the Ocean Waves boxes instead of the Watercolor boxes and without the "Fun with Music" bit.
* FollowTheBouncingBall: The Mickey bouncing ball takes on several special forms. There is a Mickey-shaped wreath used for "Deck the Halls", the blue Mickey dons a Santa hat for "Up on the Housetop" and "Sleigh Ride" as well as a white beard on "Here Comes Santa Claus", the yellow Mickey is given a red scarf for "Winter Wonderland" and antlers and a red nose for "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer". A bouncing white snowflake is also used for "Jingle Bells" and "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow". Only "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers" uses a normal pink Mickey bouncing ball.
* StockAudioClip: Throughout the video, the songs' audio clips are taken from various records, including "Deck the Halls" from the Disney 1978 LP: "Merry Christmas Songs".
* StockFootage: It features winter and Christmas-themed Disney cartoons along with public domain clips of [[Creator/MaxAndDaveFleischer Max Fleischer]]'s ''WesternAnimation/RudolphTheRedNosedReindeer1948'' and the Creator/{{Paramount}} Creator/FamousStudios short "Snow Foolin".
