When he meets his old radio hero Clem Clements, he learns Clements got fired from the station for refusing to compromise on genuinely unpopular DJ choices. When Clements ropes Bob into hijacking the studio to go on the air ''[[{{Pride}} his]]'' way, Bob understandably freaks out. Based on this, you'd expect the Aesop to be that sometimes a ''little'' compromise wouldn't hurt, and stubbornly clinging to dying business practices results in you [[PrideBeforeAFall martyring yourself for nothing]]. However, the episode ends with Bob realizing trends aren't worth chasing, and Clements gets hired by another radio station who loves his moxie.
