She's the only person who offers Lacie a ride, after other drivers not only refused to but even dinged her. Even after Lacie calls her old, she doesn't vote her down, while many other people dinged her for very petty reasons. While she forthrightly tells Lacie she doesn't want to hear her wedding speech, she wishes her good luck on it as they part ways.
