!!This episode provides examples of:
* ActorAllusion: Kenny is outspoken, belligerent, and has his "boys" come and back him up. Assuming that they're all from Nova Scotia, it isn't hard to believe that they may have come from a [[Series/TrailerParkBoys trailer park]] at some point.
* BaitAndSwitch:
** Malory suspects that Pam wants to sneak onto the train, and it turns out she managed to do so... Except it turns out Cheryl attached a few train cars and brought herself, Ray, Pam, and Babou along for the ride.
** When forced to keep the train moving to prevent the Kenny or Babou from escaping, George says that Cheryl wants to beat the train speed record. The conductor on the other mentioned "Those crazy Tunts", meaning this wasn't the first time this happened.
* CallBack: Cheryl is able to tag along into the mission since she ''is'' the daughter to a wealthy family that owns railroads and owns the train they're all riding.
* {{Eagleland}}: Inverse to Archer, Kenny Bilko seems to think Americans are always racist against black people.
* EyeScream: Archer dons his night vision goggles as eye protection. Like before, he is promptly blinded by the lights of a passing train.
-->'''Archer:''' Retinas! Seared like tuna steaks!
* HumiliationConga: Malory comes along on the mission for no apparent reason other than that she wants to take a train trip to Canada. She is incredibly abusive to the porter and acts like she owns the place -- only to discover that Cheryl is aboard the train and ''does'' own it! Cheryl refuses to allow Malory to use her private train cars (plural), even though Pam and Ray are (as well as one of them claimed by Babou, her ocelot). The porter, informed by Cheryl that he won't get in trouble for not putting up with Malory, subsequently refuses to serve her in any way. Plus, of course, between Archer and Cyril the mission gets massively bungled, resulting in ISIS being blacklisted by the RCMP and everyone in the group banned from Canada. Malory is even less happy than usual.
* ImperialStormtrooperMarksmanshipAcademy: Neither the Mounties nor Bilko's boys can land a hit on an ocelot from a few meters away at most.
* ImpersonatingAnOfficer: When they reach the Canadian border, Archer anticipates Kenny's allies will do this as the RCMP to extract him. Lana follows this reluctantly and they both threaten the men at gunpoint. When they turn out to be ''real'' Mounties firing at them, she chews Archer out for is usual idiocy while in cover... until the ''actual allies'' arrive in RCMP uniform as well, proving him right after all. Naturally, the allies are arrested at the end because of this trope.
* LivingOutAChildhoodDream: Subverted; Archer is very enthusiastic about the chance to get to fight on top of a speeding train, which has been a long-held dream of his. The reality of this fight ends up being a lot less fun than Archer had anticipated.
* LotsOfLuggage: As usual, Malory brings a huge amount of luggage, which Pam notes "contains what I assume is your rock collection". All the suitcases fill her entire sleeper cabin, prompting her to demand that the porter find her larger accommodations.
* MistakenForRacist:
** Kenny suspects Archer as racist, believing he shot a black guy (George the porter) after seeing trails of blood, when he was actually using raw meat to attract Cheryl's ocelot, Babou.
** Malory is suspected to be racist due to her treatment towards George, but she claims to actually be elitist. Mind you, she most likely didn't know the porter's name happened to actually ''be'' [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pullman_porter George]].
* MooseAndMapleSyrup: The team is transporting a Nova Scotian separatist to Ottawa. In-universe, Archer assumes the trope is true: he incorrectly assumes that Canadian RCMP officers don't carry guns, nor do Canadian terrorists; he is also shocked to discover that there are actually passport checks at the border entering Canada and also makes the usual cracks about Canadian pronunciation.
* PersonaNonGrata: The entire crew is banned from entering Canada ever again as a result of the mission.
* SpannerInTheWorks: Cheryl's pet ocelot Babou causes things to get worse for ''both'' sides:
** Because it got loose, Archer tried to lure it with a raw steak that left blood trails behind. After he fires his gun by accident while talking to the (black) porter, Kenny peeks out from his hiding spot and sees the blood on the carpet, thinks that Archer shot the porter, and warns his allies to come in with the heavy guns.
** Babou then shows up out of nowhere and starts harassing both the Canadian border patrol and Kenny's entourage long enough for Archer/Lana turn things around.
* SkewedPriorities: Archer spends most of the episode finding or tending to Cheryl's ocelot before pursuing Kenny.
* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: A TraintopBattle is much more awesome in theory.
* TraintopBattle: Archer excitedly states several times that he has always wanted to do this. Unexpectedly, he discovers just how difficult it actually is, not to mention how ''pointless'' it is. Both Kenny and Archer discuss this before actually attempting to fight.
-->'''[[VillainOfTheWeek Kenny Bilko]]:''' So, rethinking this, huh? On top of the train, you're still like... ''on the train''.
* UnderestimatingBadassery: Archer assumes that the RCMP will be cowed simply by being threatened at gunpoint, simply because they're Canadian and ignoring that they're, you know, a highly trained police force. Obviously, instead of surrendering they draw their revolvers, "maintain the rank", and open fire, forcing Archer and Lana to take cover.
* WorthIt: Archer said, sarcastically at the end.
