[[caption-width-right:350:[[LeaningOnTheFourthWall Final Farewell]]]]
With Kim captured and [[TripodTerror alien machines]] wrecking every corner of the world, it's up to an unlikely pair to come to the rescue, followed by the most unlikely of alliances to save the planet, all leading up to one big climax where one's destiny is finally achieved.

!!This episode provides examples of:
* TwoDVisualsThreeDEffects: The Lowardian Walkers, as well as the cannon pointed at Kim and Drakken. [[JustifiedTrope Justified]] in that they are literally from another planet.
* AntagonistInMourning: When Drakken believes he has accidentally killed Kim, he mourns her and [[SubvertedCatchPhrase admits]] [[WorthyOpponent she was indeed "all that"]].
* ArcWords: "It's not the end of the world."
* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: Drakken and Shego get a lot of moments of this trope. Kim even lampshades it when Shego says they need to go help him and Ron.
* BadGuyBar: TheStinger shows one, where most of the show’s RoguesGallery is seen, including the Seniors, Camille Leon, Adrena Lynn, [=DNAmy=], a still petrified Monkey Fist, and Duff Killigan, along with Drakken and Dementor.
* BadIsGoodAndGoodIsBad:
** Drakken ''begs'' Ron not to make him say "SaveTheWorld" when he says he has come up with a plan to stop the Lorwardians.
** During the scene where Drakken is commended by the UN for helping to save the world, other members of Kim's RoguesGallery are shown not being as impressed, except for his LoonyFan Frugal Lucre, who was brandishing a foam finger with 'Drakken's #1' on it.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Ron singlehandedly whips (and, according to the creators, ''kills'') Warhok and Warmonga when [[BerserkButton they talk about stuffing and mounting Kim as a trophy]].
* BigBlackout: Through some unknown method, Warhok and Warmonga take out ''all the power on Earth'' when they launch their attack.
* BigNo: Bonnie lets one out after Barkin informs her that she's going to have to attend summer school in order to graduate high school.
* BondVillainStupidity: Warhok and Warmonga, despite having a cannon pointed at Kim and Drakken, pay no attention to them, are not aware that the cannon fired at Kim and was then destroyed by Drakken's mutant flower, and don't learn that Kim and Drakken have escaped until after Ron and Shego arrive, Rufus presses the off switch, causing the ship to ''start to crash''. Even moreso, the cannon fires at Kim from point blank range and she somehow survives, meaning that even the way they confined Kim and Drakken was shoddy.
* BridalCarry: After Kim destroys Warhok and Warmonga’s last mecha, she is caught by a jetpack wielding Ron this way.
* BringIt: Ron does the gesture during his fight with Warhok.
* BuffySpeak: Kim refers to the sentry drones as, "Hovery guardy things," and one would swear Creator/SarahMichelleGellar stood in for this scene.
* BullyingADragon [=/=] MuggingTheMonster: Ron, unbeknownst to the Lowardians, comes into control of a very great power, making Warhok and Warmonga's tap-dancing on his BerserkButton a very poor idea. Then Ron throws Warhok across the landscape and manifests enough power to bring down a bunch of tripods, making the idiocy of the idea clear. Even after seeing this, they ''[[TooDumbToLive still]]'' try to attack him.
* CallBack: In the [[WesternAnimation/KimPossibleMovieSoTheDrama original series finale]], Ron forgot to put on his rocket skates. This time, he remembers.
* CasualDangerDialogue: Done by Ron a lot, as he's more concerned with he and Kim growing distant than his potential death.
* ChangeTheUncomfortableSubject: In the [[TheStinger very last scene]] Professor Dementor teases Drakken about [[HeelFaceTurn saving the world]] after [[FailureIsTheOnlyOption repeatedly failing]] to [[TakeOverTheWorld conquer it]]. Drakken pointedly asks him to change the subject.
* ChasedOffIntoTheSunset: The last we see of the Tweebs are them and Ron Reager being chased by Barkin for vaporizing his car again.
* ChekhovsGun: Jim and Tim's SpySatellite that was launched in the previous episode lets Wade get a good look at the situation during the Lorwardian Invasion.
* ContinuitySnarl: A minor one. When Kim put on her graduation gown in the last episode, she was wearing a pink sweater underneath. When the gown is ripped open due to laser fire, Kim is shown wearing a blue dress.
* CrazyPrepared: James is surprised that Ron decided to wear rocket skates to the graduation.
* CurbStompBattle: Upon getting full control of his Mystical Monkey Power, Ron wipes the floor with Warhok and Warmonga without even breaking a sweat.
* DancePartyEnding: The closing scene of the episode proper (i.e. not counting TheStinger) is a post-graduation beach party.
* DarkestHour: With Kim captured, the [[KnightOfCerebus most terrible villain]] Kim and Ron have ever faced at large, and the world enduring the worst TakeOverTheWorld plan it's ever seen (even oneuping Drakken's [[WesternAnimation/KimPossibleMovieSoTheDrama Diablo-scheme]]), this is definitely the greatest mission Kim and Ron have had. Gotta hand it to the writers for saving the BestForLast.
* DavidVersusGoliath: Ron, a human, goes up against Warhok, an alien who is three times his size, and wins.[[note]]ParentalBonus kicks in when you consider that Ron is Jewish[[/note]]
* DefeatEqualsExplosion: Upon being defeated by Ron, Warhok and Warmonga perish in an explosion. Justified as he had thrown them into their crashing ship.
* DefeatingTheUndefeatable: Defeating the most fierce warrior in the galaxy and his battlemate, both of whom Kim and Shego had a difficult time against? Yeah, it's a good bet that Ron fulfilled this trope.
* DontCelebrateJustYet: After Drakken's plan works and the Walkers are brought down, with Warhok and Warmonga apparently incapacitated, Kim figured the world was safe and was about to leave with Ron to get back to the graduation, only for Warhok to emerge and knock Shego out with a single backhand.
-->'''Warhok:''' Did you think that the most fierce warrior in the galaxy could be defeated by ''flowers'' and ''children''?
* EasilyThwartedAlienInvasion: After spending the majority of the episode controlling the planet, in less than five minutes, the Lorwardians' entire invading army is destroyed by Drakken's plants and they themselves meet their end at the hands of Ron and his Mystical Monkey Power. Justified considering the fact that there were only ''two'' invaders.
* EmpathyDollShot: As the Lorwardians' walker machines begin terrorizing the world, one of them is seen skewering Kim's Pandaroo with its leg.
* EnemyMine: Kim, Ron, Drakken, and Shego all end up working together to fight the alien invaders. One of the final scenes shows Drakken getting a medal from the United Nations.
* GenreSavvy: Ron on two occasions:
** First, when Shego wonders aloud how they can enter Warmonga’s ship, he suggests the garbage chute. Shego is about to snark at his idea only to find the ship really does have a garbage chute.
** Next, when the team enters the ship’s noisy control centre, Ron suggests they find an off-switch. As Drakken is about to say how stupid that idea sounds, Rufus finds the off-switch and turns it off.
* GetAHoldOfYourSelfMan: Subverted. When Barkin is having a panic attack, Kim's Nana tells him that the kids need to see a strong adult, making Barkin think she's implying this, [[BaitAndSwitch but she actually wants him to hide away until everything blows over]].
* GraduateFromTheStory: Everyone sans Bonnie graduates from Middleton High as the series finale has its real GrandFinale. It's the title of the episode, after all.
* GraduationForEveryone...except for Bonnie Rockwaller, who appears to be the only student in Kim and Ron's senior class that's unable to graduate. To go into greater detail:
** After Barkin calls Bonnie up to the podium so she can get her diploma, he suddenly realizes that she had blown off all her classes during the last week of school--Bonnie casually confirms this, claiming that "nothing important happens during the last week [of school]."
** Unfortunately (for Bonnie), Barkin claims that Bonnie missed a pop quiz that he had given out in homeroom, which claims leaves her just one credit of being able to graduate high school--[[LaserGuidedKarma this, in turn, means that if Bonnie wants to get her diploma and officially graduate high school, she has to go to summer school.]]
** [[FromBadToWorse And to really add insult to injury (at least for Bonnie),]] ''Barkin'' is the one teaching summer school, so she's going to have to deal with him even longer than the rest of her classmates (even if it's only for a couple of months).
* GravitySucks / InventionalWisdom: Hitting the "off" switch on the Lowardian ship causes it to fall out of orbit.
-->'''Warmonga:''' Long have I questioned the wisdom of that accursed switch!
* HeelFaceTurn: Drakken and Shego both perform this--the former even gets a medal from the United Nations with the latter by his side.
* HopeSpot: Played with. As Ron and Mr. Possible are driving through the wreckage of Middleton, Ron is relieved to see Bueno Nacho is still intact. Unfortunately, as he's saying "[[TemptingFate At least they didn't-]]", a Lorwardian Walker appears and smashes the restaurant to the ground.
-->'''Ron:''' Why is it never Cow N' Chow?!
* InventionalWisdom: Warmonga comments on how she's always wondered why their ships have an off switch that deactivates everything at once.
* {{Irony}}: As Dementor pointed out in TheStinger, Drakken has failed every single time in his plans to conquer the planet, but finds success when ''[[RedemptionPromotion saving the world]]''.
* IShouldHaveDoneThisYearsAgo: Upon seeing how strong his mutant plant powers are, Drakken has this to say:
-->I should've gone green years ago!
* ItMakesSenseInContext: When Drakken returns to the scene of the final battle after everything's over, Shego tells him that he missed Ron "step up, monkey style". Drakken has no idea what that means, but Shego only tells him he had to be there.
* JawDrop[=/=]StunnedSilence: Kim, Shego, and Rufus are all visibly stunned by Ron's display of power in his battle with Warhok and Warmonga.
* KamehameHadoken: During Ron and Warhok’s duel in the climax, Ron briefly does an attack that [[PunchedAcrossTheRoom knocks Warhok away]] that involves doing hand gestures similar to the Kamehameha (sans any [[KiAttacks visible energy blast]]). [[HilariousInHindsight Then he goes]] [[Anime/DragonBallZResurrectionF Super Saiyan Blue]].
* KickTheDog: Bonnie’s final moment of cruelty is when she knocks away Ron Rieger off the stage before he can get his diploma. And karma soon follows…
* KilledOffForReal: According to WordOfGod, Warhok and Warmonga perished when they crashed into their ship, making them two of the only characters to be killed in the show.
* KnightOfCerebus: Warhok. He planned to take Kim to his home planet to kill her and [[DeadGuyOnDisplay mount her]] on his mate Warmonga's [[TrophyRoom wall]].
** WordOfGod was that the creators wanted to make the villain as terrifying as [[Franchise/StarWars Darth Vader]].
* LampshadeHanging: James mentions how having Shego team up with Ron to help them save their respective partners is similar to a fanfic he once wrote.
* LiteralMetaphor: Ron's line to Kim "I can't live without you". The touching implication is there, but it's also laced with a bit of literally as seen when she saves him from a nasty plummet.
-->'''Ron:''' At the very least we're talking major bone breakage!
* ManlyTears: When Drakken tells the team how he has come up with his greatest plan ever, his eyes starts watering up.
* NearVillainVictory: The Lorwardians are the only villains (besides Shego as "[[Recap/KimPossibleASitchInTimeS2E13 the]] [[Recap/KimPossibleASitchInTimeS2E14 Supreme]] [[Recap/KimPossibleASitchInTimeS2E15 One]]") to successfully conquer the world, only for them to lose control of it even ''faster'' than when they conquered it.
* NeverSayThatAgain: When Drakken said he had come up with his greatest plan ever, Ron added "To save the world?", resulting in Drakken begging him not to make him say those words.
* NeverSpeakIllOfTheDead: Drakken, momentarily believing that Kim [[NoOneCouldSurviveThat is dead]], inverts his usual CharacterCatchphrase, declaring, "[[WorthyOpponent You were a worthy foe.]] [[SubvertedCatchphrase You were]] ''[[SubvertedCatchphrase indeed]]'' [[SubvertedCatchphrase all that]]."
* NextTierPowerUp: Ron, upon hearing that Warhok and Warmonga plan to stuff Kim as a trophy, gets so angry that he manages to finally [[LetsGetDangerous master]] his [[DangerousForbiddenTechnique Mystical Monkey Powers]] that he gained all the way back in Season 1 and completely [[CurbStompBattle decimate them]]. Kim, Rufus, and Shego are in awe at seeing how much power he's actually able to harness.
* NoEndorHolocaust: Despite Warhok and Warmonga's machines rampaging across the planet, there were no fatalities. The only casualties were a majority of the Earth's buildings (including the Possible house, Middleton High, and Bueno Nacho), and of course, Warhok and Warmonga.
* OneWingedAngel: Drakken's [[PlantPerson mutation]], which was PlayedForLaughs in the first part of the story, is now played straight as his vines prove capable of crushing the Lowardian tripods.
-->'''Drakken''': [[IShouldHaveDoneThisYearsAgo I should've gone green years ago!]]
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: When Kim confesses to Ron that she's also scared about the future, Ron can barely believe or process it.
* OrganAutonomy: The flowers that grow on Drakken seem to have minds of their own but they do obey his orders, [[RhetoricalRequestBlunder even when they're sarcastic ones]].
* PairTheSpares: Based on their interactions in the last episode and the end of this one, it appears that Ron's ex-girlfriend, Zita Flores, and his friend, Felix Renton, have gotten together.
* ThePardon: Due to the scene at the end with Drakken receiving an award and being commended by the UN, many fans believe that meant Drakken and Shego were pardoned of all their past TakeOverTheWorld schemes.
* PreAsskickingOneLiner: DoubleSubverted. After Warhok called him a "child", Ron declared "I am no child. Check your calendar, it's Graduation Day" before charging at the alien, only for Warhok to send him flying with a punch. However, after getting some encouragement from Sensei, Ron got back up and proceeding {{Curb Stomp|Battle}} Warhok.
* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: The Lorwardian Walkers, as well as pretty much everything Warhok and Warmonga use.
* RescueHug: Kim and Ron did this twice. First when they were reunited on the Lowardians' ship, and again after Ron defeated Warhok and Warmonga. Drakken and Shego nearly did this as well, but backpedaled once they realized what they were doing.
* RidingIntoTheSunset: The last we see of Kim and Ron is them flying away in the Sloth into the night sky.
* ScienceFantasy: How often do you see mystical Kung Fu powers versus aliens in a battlefield where giant machines have just been destroyed by mutant autonomous flowers?
* SealedWithAKiss: Much like [[SeriesFauxnale the former]] [[WesternAnimation/KimPossibleMovieSoTheDrama series finale]], the episode proper (not counting TheStinger during the end credits) ends with Kim and Ron kissing.
* SheCleansUpNicely: At Drakken's award ceremony, Shego wears a green dress instead of her usual outfit.
* ShipTease: The episode is filled with lots of Drakken/Shego teasing, especially the end where they get wrapped up in Drakken's vine, despite Shego [[ShesNotMyGirlfriend verbally denying it the whole time]]. According to WordOfGod, however, they do end up together.
* ShipperOnDeck:
** Kim seems to enjoy teasing Shego about her caring for Drakken.
** Drakken's vines seem to feel the same way as one of them wrapped the two together in their final scene.
* ShoutOut:
** It's clear that the ending scene where Kim and Ron fly away in Kim's car is based off the ending scene of ''Film/{{Grease}}''.
** Kim's torn graduation gown looks similar to [[Franchise/StarWars Jedi garb]].
* StrongerThanTheyLook: Drakken's flowers have stems that are only a couple of inches thick, yet they're strong enough to completely destroy Lorwardian tech that modern military weapons can't penetrate.
* SuperMode: The full power of Ron's Mystical Monkey Power is [[PowerGlows a blue]] [[AnimalBattleAura aura around him that takes the form of a monkey]].
* TankTopTomboy: During the graduation beach party, Kim's exposed midriff makes a final appearance in the series.
* ThisCannotBe: This was Warmonga's reaction when Drakken's flowers destroyed the entire army of Lorwardian machines.
* ThisIsUnforgivable: Warhok didn't take it well when his army of [[TripodTerror tripods]] were destroyed...by flowers. As he put it "This insult will not stand!"
* TookALevelInBadass: Drakken and Ron.
* TrashTheSet: Most of Middleton High is destroyed, along with Bueno Nacho.
-->'''Ron:''' Well, at least they didn't--''[Bueno Nacho gets smashed]''--AAW! Why is it never Cow N' Chow?!
* TheUnhug: When Ron and Shego arrive to rescue Kim and Drakken, Kim and Ron [[TwirlOfLove eagerly hug]]--Shego and Drakken momentarily look like they're going to do likewise, but instead awkwardly try to act nonchalant.
* TheUnreveal: The very last lines of the series are Professor Dementor asking Dr. Drakken how his skin turned blue, and Drakken beginning to explain how and why it happened. All the viewers find out is that [[ButForMeItWasTuesday it simply happened on a Tuesday]].
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse:
** We never do find out what the Possible family does in response to their house being destroyed.
** Also unrevealed is which college Kim ultimately decides to attend. (The general matter of Kim and Ron's future together is intentionally unresolved, though the producers do state that they will be together forever.)
* WhenLifeGivesYouLemons: While escaping the Lorwardian ship, Ron feels Drakken is being too negative about the situation and says this, getting a hilarious response in return.
-->'''Ron''': Oh, complain, complain. You know, when life gives you lemons...
-->'''Drakken''': [[ShutUpKirk I COMPLAIN ABOUT THE LEMONS!]]
