13** The B-plot revolves around Stewie taking his first shower, with Brian helping him in spite of a traumatic memory of his first shower. However, Stewie had taken a shower with Brian back in "Stuck Together, Torn Apart" when their hands were super-glued, and Brian had taken plenty of showers on numerous occassions over the series, notably before his beatdown by Stewie in "Patriot Games" and Quagmire in "Quagmire's Dad".
14** Moreover, in the flashback, Brian is a puppy and already lives with Peter and Lois. In "[[Recap/FamilyGuyS1E7BrianPortraitOfADog Brian: Portrait of a Dog]]", however, he was found by Peter as an adult.
