->'''Bob:''' We're never getting a dog, right?\
'''Linda:''' No way! If anything, maybe a monkey.

In a special fan art-inspired episode, Bob and Linda start serving brunch at the restaurant, only to run afoul of "brunch skunks" who take advantage of Linda's bottomless mimosas. Meanwhile, Felix Fischoeder enlists the Belcher kids in helping him in an epic game of hide-and-seek with his brother Calvin.
----
!!Tropesquatch:
* TheAlcoholic: The brunch skunks came to the restaurant to overindulge in booze. All of them are publicly drunk by the end of the episode.
* AmbiguousSyntax: PlayedWith. When Bob declares he's making topless burgers, [[LampshadeHanging Gene asks whether Bob or the burger is topless]]. Bob says they'll see.
* ArtShift: The episode features character designs and backgrounds by over 60 fan-artists, with the style shifting between each scene--at one point it goes black-and-white, and at another point it even goes {{animesque}}. Notably, at no point (not even the opening or closing credits) does the episode use its original art style.
* BreadEggsMilkSquick: The rules to the Fischoeders' game of birthday hide-and-seek: No leaving town, no carrying money... and no [[HeKnowsTooMuch killing anyone to keep them quiet]]. Knowing the Fischoeders, one has to wonder if that rule was in place from the start or if something happened to necessitate its addition.
* CallBack: The [[Recap/BobsBurgersS2E9Beefsquatch Beefsquatch]] [[Recap/BobsBurgersS7E21ParadersOfTheLostFloat costume]] reappears, rechristened as the titular Brunchsquatch and with an egg and slice of bacon added to the burger costume.
* CallingParentsByTheirName: When Bob refuses to buy a dog, Louise remarks "I'll break you yet, Robert Belcher". Not only is it the first time she's calling Bob by name, it's one of the few times ''anyone'' has ever called Bob by his real name of Robert (and the second time overall, after Randy in "[[Recap/BobsBurgersS2E5FoodTruckin Food Truckin']]").
* CausticCritic: Subverted; it initially seems like brunch blogger Dalton Crespin (Dame Judi Brunch) is obnoxious and self-absorbed, but he turns out to be quite the NiceGuy.
* DecoyGetaway: Felix puts on Gene's Brunchsquatch costume so that his brother doesn't find him. It almost works.
* DidntThinkThisThrough: Because Linda didn't set a one meal minimum per customer, the brunch is overcome by "brunch skunks", who are only there for the free booze and because she didn't water down the Mom-mosas, they get very drunk very quickly.
* DisproportionateRetribution: One of the skunks calls the police when Linda revokes the unlimited free mimosa offer.
* DontExplainTheJoke: Jimmy Pesto tells Bob to "read this" and farts at him, Trev then says "He's talking about his butt, like it's a book!" Jimmy then responds "[[DefiedTrope Don't explain it!]]".
* DumpsterDive: Louise finds Felix hiding from Calvin in their dumpster, eating some fries he found there.
* FauxHorrific: Dalton thinks the drawing of the kids stabbing him so they can keep his dog is ActuallyPrettyFunny... until he realizes they drew him wearing flip-flops.
* FirstPetStory: The kids try to get their parents to get them a puppy, which they disagree with due to the usual reasons of one being a large responsibility as well as it being an additional drain on their already struggling finances. Louise tries to solve the situation by extorting 250 dollars from Felix in exchange of keeping him hidden from Calvin until 12:30 PM the next day which would allow him to beat Calvin's hide-and-seek record, thinking that it'll be enough for the puppy's expenses for at least a month or two, and by that time the parents have gotten so attached to it that they don't have the heart to give it away. This fails because Calvin manages to figure out the kids' plan and finds Felix one minute from the deadline, but luckily for the kids, Dalton brings his puppy along to his private brunch the next week for them to play with.
* HongKongDub: As a spoof on anime dubs, the scene depicting the Belchers in {{animesque}} has mouth movements that don't match what the Belchers are saying.
* IAmXSonOfY: Of a sort. Calvin Fischoeder refers to Louise as "child of Bob".
* IntoxicationEnsues: Teddy gets drunk on too many mimosas because he though they were just orange juice that went bad (leading Linda to ask why he drank them if he thought they were bad).
* IveHeardOfThatWhatIsIt: Linda has this reaction to Dalton trying to warn her about "brunch skunks".
-->'''Linda:''' Oh, no, not brunch skunks! What are they?
* JustHereForTheFreeSnacks: The "Brunch Skunks" who crowd the restaurant and only order the unlimited mimosas. Dalton warns Linda that these people will do anything to keep drinking, saying he once saw someone escape from an ambulance to return to the restaurant. One of them even vomits into her purse and keeps drinking.
* JustInTime: Villainous (well, "villainous") case; Calvin Fischoeder finds Felix just one minute before he was about to break the hide and seek record.
* NotSoAboveItAll: When the kids call "Not it" to making the chore wheel, Bob also says "Not it" as if he's trying to force the task onto Linda.
* OhCrap: Dalton has this reaction when Linda asks him why nobody else is ordering food but him and his friends, as he realizes the entire room is full of brunch skunks.
* PetTheDog: PlayedForLaughs; Mr. Fischoeder refuses to crush Teddy's dreams, albeit only because someone clearly beat him to it.
* {{Polyamory}}: Discussed; the kids claim that getting a dog will allow Bob to get a second wife named Susan (who he met while walking the dog). Linda is surprisingly on-board with this.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: A police officer isn't going to arrest the restaurant owner because they stopped you from drinking them into the poorhouse thanks to LoopholeAbuse, they will however arrest ''you'' because you've turned violent.
* ShoutOut:
** Louise says a puppy is as cute as Creator/ShirleyTemple stuffed inside a teddy bear stuffed inside that kid from ''Film/JerryMaguire''.
** Linda's ImagineSpot of her and the kids having brunch spoofs ''Series/SexAndTheCity''.
** Gene asks Felix "Why aren't you hiding somewhere cool, like Europe, or [[Series/StrangerThings the Upside Down]]?"
** Dalton's blogger name is [[Creator/JudiDench Dame Judi Brunch]].
* SincerityMode: The way in which Dalton reacts to Linda's enthusiasm about brunch sounds like sarcasm, but when he's revealed as a NiceGuy it becomes clear he was actually being genuine.
* SmashCut: Once the police arrive one of the brunch skunks cheers about how the Belchers are going to be in trouble. Smash cut to the restaurant closing for the day after the brunch skunks are all arrested for causing a drunken brawl.
* TooDumbToLive: When Louise has Gene give Calvin his Brunchsquatch costume so he can make a getaway, Gene neglects to put on the leftover winter clothes and hides in the freezer in his underwear.
* WateringDown:
** To nobody's surprise, it turns out that Jimmy Pesto does this to his alcohol, to the point that Dalton and his friends ordered upwards of ''sixteen Bloody Marys each'' while at the pizzeria and were still so sober afterwards that they could ''drive home''.
** Because Linda [[NoGoodDeedGoesUnPunished didn't water the drinks down on principle]], she ends up with a restaurant full of drunk and belligerent "brunch skunks."
