Moon Girl is tasked with transporting a captured villain to SHIELD headquarters. During the trip, she learns some surprising truths about her prisoner.
----
* BlatantLies: Quickwhip's lies get more implausible as they go along, like claiming there's a double rainbow at night and Thanos is in the sewer.
* CryingWolf: Thanks to Quickwhip's BlatantLies in past encounters, Moon Girl is quick to shoot down any excuse the villain has as she transports her to SHIELD. It's only during their clash with Lady Bullseye that Moon Girl learns about Quickwhip not being a complete black-and-white villain, and that she has been running from Lady Bullseye's organization.
* TheFamilyForTheWholeFamily: Lady Bullseye's Diabolical Darts has all the earmarks of a crime family, yet Lady B comes off more as a kindergarten teacher than a crime family matriarch. Zigzagged in that she's been hunting Quickwhip to the ends of the Earth with heavy implications of either getting her to join again or making an example of her for leaving.
* HardTruthAesop: Most people only see a former criminal's past and refuse to hire them out of fear of relapse or deception, sometimes forcing them back into a life of crime. That said, criminals ''can'' be reformed if they are willing and people give them a chance to change.
* InevitablyBrokenRule: Lunella tells her friends to record the final episode of their favorite drama and not watch it until she returns from her mission. Casey eventually grows impatient before Devil signals her to watch the show anyway and make an alternate social media account so she can talk about the show without Lunella knowing about it. Lunella is reasonably angry when she finds out they watched behind her back but is able to watch the recording with them during the credits.
* LookBehindYou: How Quickwhip evaded Moon Girl multiple times. Apparently she brought up Captain America, a double rainbow, and even ''Thanos'' to distract her in order to get away.
* RememberTheNewGuy: This is Quickwhip's first appearance, but flashbacks show she's encountered Moon Girl several times.
* ResignationsNotAccepted: Quickwhip reveals that she worked for Lady Bullseye after being raised off the street, but left feeling guilty for abandoning her dreams of being a chef. Naturally, LB doesn't accept this and tries to get her back, whether she wants to or not.
* StreetMusician: Principal Nelson hopes to make his debut as a subway performer but keeps getting upstaged. He finally gets the nerve to perform when he thinks the train is about to crash and provides the soundtrack to the climactic fight.
* TrappedInVillainy: Quickwhip, real name Zekiyah, originally wanted to be a baker but cost of living in New York was so expensive she ended up homeless and joining Lady Bullseye's gang. Lady Bullseye refuses to let her leave and nobody will hire her due to her criminal record. After LB is defeated, Moon Girl convinces SHIELD's Maria Hill to help reform Zekiyah so she can pursue her dreams again. She hopes to do the same with any other villain willing to change for the better without being judged by their rap sheet.
* VomitDiscretionShot: Quickwhip has one where she's crawling underneath a bench, then it comes to above the bench and shows a dialogue bubble with her face and cookies being expelled from her mouth.
* YouHaveFailedMe: Lady Bullseye has the attitude of a guidance counselor, so the worst she does in this episode to temporarily punish her underlings who fail is by [[PokeThePoodle making them stand]] in a [[TimeOut "reflection corner"]].
