----
!!"Lincoln Loud: Girl Guru"
* AndYourLittleDogToo: Kat and Joy voice their displeasure over Lincoln “and his weird little friend, too.”
* ContinuityNod:
** Lincoln and Clyde sing "Shortnin' Bread" while making the pies.
** Lily can be seen lying on top of the shirt Lincoln gave her in "Changing the Baby".
* DidntSeeThatComing: This is Lincoln and Clyde's reaction when their angry customers continue to chase them despite getting their money back.
* {{Gasshole}}: In a flashback, Lynn gives Lincoln a Dutch oven ([[Recap/TheLoudHouseS1E6SoundOfSilenceSpaceInvader again]]). This leads Lincoln to conclude that girls in general like them (which turns out not to be true).
* GirlsLoveChocolate: At the beginning, Lincoln and Clyde try to make chocolate pies, but Lincoln finds that his sisters, all notorious "chocoholics", ate all the bars he needed for them. Also, giving a girl chocolate was the only bit of advice that applied to a girl other than the Loud sisters.
* GivenNameReveal: Mrs. Johnson's first name is revealed to be Agnes.
* GuiltByAssociationGag: Lincoln's customers go after both him ''and'' Clyde, when the latter's involvement in Lincoln's scheme was minimal at best.
* HyperventilationBag: Clyde does this when he's about to get a panic attack, but he accidently grabs the bag holding his lunch first.
* IAteWhat: This is Artie's disgusted reaction after finding out that he ate a salt and vinegar pie.
* LotusPosition: Lincoln does this when he's the "Girl Guru".
* MobileShrubbery: Lincoln and Clyde walk around inside trash cans to get away from the people they gave bad advice to. It fails when Clyde pops out to reprimand a random student for putting a water bottle in his can right in front of their unhappy customers.
* PieInTheFace: At the end, Lincoln and Clyde's successful business venture is selling pies for people to throw at Lincoln as revenge for his bad advice.
* ShoutOut: When Kat and Joy talk about Lincoln and Clyde:
--> '''Kat:''' "The next time I see that Girl Guru, I'll totally destroy him!"
--> '''Joy:''' "[[Film/TheWizardOfOz Yeah, and his weird]] [[AndYourLittleDogToo little friend too]]."
* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Lincoln's girl advice relates to what his sisters like, only to discover that what's true for them isn't necessarily true for every other girl or woman. To a lesser extent, just because a guy might have a bunch of sisters, that doesn't automatically make him a "girl expert."
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: In this episode, the Loud sisters as a whole play the tomboys compared to the more conventionally feminine girls at Lincoln's school. Lincoln and Clyde falsely assume that all girls share the same interests, traits, and preferences as his sisters, including Lynn and Lana's gross habits, Luan's fondness for pranks, Lisa's cold and clinical science mind, and even Lucy's dark and morbid interests. Needless to say, [[WhatCouldPossiblyGoWrong this doesn't turn out well for them.]]
* WhatCouldPossiblyGoWrong: Every time Lincoln and Clyde come up with a new business plan, they ask themselves "How hard could it be?" Needless to say, every plan results in a failure.

!!"Come Sale Away"
* AesopAmnesia: Every time the kids vow to stop competing with each other, they're back at it within a few seconds.
* AsideGlance: Lily [[http://theloudhouse.wikia.com/wiki/File:S1E19B_Lily%27s_blank_stare.png does this at one point]].
* BurpingContest: A flashback shows the kids having a burping competition. ''Lola'', of all people, wins. She beats all her siblings including her brother, [[TheLadette Lynn]] and [[ThePigPen Lana]], which is no easy feat.
* CompetitionFreak: In a family as big as the Louds, everything ''has'' to be a competition. It turns out that Lynn isn't the only one who can take competitions too far.
* CrazyCatLady: Lucy and Lisa go to an old lady's house to find Lily's blankie, and she has several cats.
* ExactWords: Lucy tells Flip his business will be booming. The keyword here is "booming", not "profitable".
* GarageSale: The main plot of this episode involves Lincoln and his sisters competing to see who can make the most money at their annual garage sale.
* HappyDance: The kids, plus their parents, have their own victory dances.
* KitchenSinkIncluded: Well, not exactly. During the montage of the girls taking stuff from the house to sell, Lana is shown disassembling the ''bathroom'' sink.
* LaserGuidedKarma:
** Due to their irrational competitiveness, the kids get conned out of their garage sale money while correcting their mistake, and they get grounded by their parents for selling nearly everything in the house.
** Flip cons the Loud kids out of their money and tries to sell the chemicals he bought from Lisa as windshield wiper fluid only to blow up his gas station.
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: Lincoln starts the episode by telling the viewer "You've been with us a while."
* LiteralMinded: At the garage sale, Leni tries to sell the garage. Later on, when the siblings sell everything in the house, [[BrickJoke it also includes the garage]].
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: The kids when they realize they might have sold Lily's blankie in their haste to out-sell each other. Fortunately, they did not.
* NegativeContinuity: Although everything in the house is sold, and it would be too expensive to buy replacements, the problem would be resolved in the next episode.
** Unless the family either picked everything back up, or the customers returned them.
* OcularGushers: Lily does this twice, each time because she wants her blankie.
* ShaggyDogStory: It turns out that though she's unaware of it, Lily's blankie was in the wash the whole time, and that Flip knowingly conned the Loud kids out of their money with identical fakes.
* ShakingTheRump: Lincoln's victory dance is shaking his butt. The sisters and the parents do this at the end of the episode as well.
* ShoutOut: The title is based on the Music/{{Styx}} song "Come Sail Away".
* YouAreGrounded: The kids end up getting grounded for selling everything in the house.
