"Executive Sweet" is the third episode of the seventh season of ''Series/{{Cheers}}''.

There's been change at the Lillian Corporation. Mr. Stone is out, and the new guy is a Mr. Martin Teal. Teal has demoted Sam back to bartender while reinstating Rebecca as sole manager of Cheers. Rebecca, ever eager to climb up the corporate ladder, goes to meet with him. On the way there, she encounters a young man who flirts heavily with her, flirting Rebecca rejects, because he looks like he's about sixteen and isn't much more than five feet tall. She goes into Martin Teal's office for her appointment, only to find out to her horror that the very young, very very short man ''is'' Martin Teal.

In order to avoid Martin's advances, Rebecca claims Sam is her boyfriend, but the executive is dead-set on gaining Rebecca's heart, and is willing to do whatever it takes to win her heart.

Meanwhile, Woody's keeping a lot of bees in the office.

!!Tropes:

* AbhorrentAdmirer: For once, it's not Sam or Cliff. It's Martin to Rebecca, who's turned off by his youth and his sheer relentlessness. Rebecca's even willing to pretend Sam is her boyfriend just to get him to back off.
* ActuallyThatsMyAssistant: On entering Mr. Teal's office, Rebecca meets an elderly gentleman already sorting paperwork in there, and thinks he is Mr. Teal. Actually, it's Dennis, his assistant.
* BoyfriendBluff: Rebecca pretends Sam is her boyfriend in a desperate attempt to rebuff Martin Teal's advances.
* ContinuityNod: Teal makes Rebecca the sole manager of Cheers, nulifying Mr. Stone's decision from two episodes earlier where she would have to co-manage the bar with Sam.
* {{Fainting}}: The episode ends with Rebecca fainting when Martin proposes to her.
* FourthDateMarriage: Martin asks Rebecca to marry him after knowing her for about 12 hours.
* FunnyBackgroundEvent: When Rebecca rebuffs Martin's advances, the two other women in the elevator with them are clearly trying not to laugh.
* TheGraphShowsTheTrend: Sam tries to use a corporate approach to get sex with Rebecca, staging a presentation in which he shows a trend of her dating history (it's a blank graph) and another trend where he shows his and her respective sexual peaks, which intersect at 4:27 pm that afternoon.
* HypocriticalHumor: Cliff has one of his idiot ideas, a Postal World theme park in which Americans would enjoy all the glory and excitement of the post office. Getting carried away, he says that if his idea works he can quit "this dead end job".
* ImprobableAge: Martin Teal is a major executive of the Lillian Corporation, despite not looking old enough to drive.
* LazyBum: Carla heard the phone ringing when Teal called up Cheers after his meeting with Rebecca, but refused to tell Sam about it until some time afterwards.
* MeetTheNewBoss: Stone is out, after a mere two episodes. Now there's Martin Teal to deal with, who does notice Rebecca exists, far more than she'd ever wish.
* NoNameGiven: Dennis's second name isn't given, in order to facilitate a BrickJoke in the next episode.
* OpenMouthInsertFoot: Rebecca makes some nasty quips at Martin's youth, only to find he's her newest boss.
* ScaryStingingSwarm: Woody's bees get loose in the office, leading to a RunningGag in which angry buzzing is heard every time someone opens the door. Frasier as it turns out is very terrified of bees. This plot ends with Woody in a full beekeeper's suit, covered in bees, trying to make is way home.
--> '''Woody''': I hope I have exact change for the bus.
* SexyBacklessOutfit: Rebecca wears a very sexy backless dress to have dinner with Martin.
* SleepingTheirWayToTheTop: Rebecca, more jaded after her crush on Evan Drake went nowhere, says that from now on she'll only date men who can help her career.
--> '''Sam''': You know, they have a name for women like that.\
'''Rebecca''': Yeah, Vice President.
* ToBeContinued: Ends on a mini-cliffhanger in which Martin gives Rebecca a gigantic engagement diamond and asks her to marry him.
* UncomfortableElevatorMoment: Rebecca gets stuck in an elevator with some guy who looks like a high school junior, who comes on to her relentlessly. It gets even more uncomfortable when she leaves the elevator and finds out who he is.
* YesMan: Martin's assistant Dennis is a champion butt-kisser.
--> '''Dennis''': He's fair but firm, and hates "yes men".\
'''Martin''': Thank you, Dennis.\
