Teaser: Batman and the Outsiders (Black Lightning, Katana, Metamorpho, Geo-Force and Halo) must thwart Kobra's plan of global domination and his army of cultists.

Main Plot: Two years ago, Barry Allen and Batman worked together to save themselves from villains like Gorilla Grodd, Captain Boomerang, and Mirror Master. Two years later, the Rogues (consisting of Heat Wave, Weather Wizard and Captain Cold), Jay Garrick and Kid Flash are depressed over Barry Allen's apparent death when he was pursuing Professor Zoom.

However, after seeing the mysterious ghost of Barry Allen, Batman and the two Flashes use the help of the Cosmic treadmill to travel to the 25th century, where Professor Zoom has taken over as the conqueror.

----
* TheAce: The Barry Allen Flash.
* AllUpToYou: After Barry was lost, Wally stepped up to defend the city full-time.
* AndIMustScream: Professor Zoom captures Barry and places him into a device that will increase his power and empower his regime. The machines force him to run nonstop, and has been in this condition ever since his supposed death quite some time ago.
* AntagonistInMourning: The Rogues all reminisce fondly about the Flash, and are ecstatic to see him back. (Though all of them deny this)
* BadassBoast: "I'm the Flash. Speed is my game."
* BigDamnHeroes: Jay and Wally free Barry in time to save Batman from Zoom.
* CastingGag: Zoom is voiced by Creator/JohnWesleyShipp, who played Barry on [[Series/TheFlash1990 the 1990 series]].
* CurbStompBattle: Batman is easily outmatched by Reverse Flash making it one of the few times he is beaten.
* HeroicSacrifice: After they went so fast that they ended up in another dimension, Barry sent Jay and Wally back through the portal and was presumed dead.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: After luring Zoom into his own trap, the Flash stops to trip him causing Zoom to spiral out of control and collided with the glass walls. Combined with super speed, Zoom sped across and receives further damage.
* ItsAllMyFault: Both Jay and Wally blamed themselves on Barry's presumed death.
* ManlyTears: Weather Wizard express complete joy upon seeing Flash that he nearly cries.
* MoreExpendableThanYou: Jay feels guilty about losing Barry because he didn't do this, saying he's getting on in years while Barry was still a young man at the time of his disappearance. He makes up for it by helping free Barry rather than himself.
* NotQuiteDead: Barry was presumed dead, but he really ended up a prisoner of Reverse Flash.
* PoorCommunicationKills: Neither Jay nor Wally ever mentioned seeing visions of Barry to each other.
* PretenderDiss: The Rogues dismiss Jay as "Geezer Flash" and remark it's just not the same as facing Barry. "Baby Flash" showing up is outright called lame.
* RealAfterAll: Jay had been seeing visions of Barry everywhere, but he assumes they were just hallucinations brought on by guilt. Batman seeing the visions is something else, as is Wally admitting he's been seeing them, too.
* TheScapegoat: Wally took Barry's apparent death out on Jay because he blamed himself for what happened.
* SomethingWeForgot: After thwarting Kobra, Batman asks the Outsiders if they made sure no reinforcements come. Given their sheepish expressions (and the army of reinforcements marching across the bridge), they didn't.
* TalkToTheFist: When Heat Wave begins insisting that the Rogues aren't beaten yet, Batman punches him out mid-sentence.
* TrueCompanions: Batman and the Flash are good friends. After the Flash was gone, Batman decided to protect his fallen friend's city from its criminals.
* VillainRespect: The Rogues expressed fond memories of Flash beating them and their desire to destroy him.
--> '''Batman''': You... ''miss'' him.
