By the end, the man who used to be the first to call his peers out for something horrible that they did is [[BecameTheirOwnAntithesis the man who is notorious even among his peers]] for massacring prisoners, selling people into slavery (including selling women to sex traffickers), and using child soldiers.
73	** Bob joined the Liberation Front out of anger towards the incompetent and oppressive policies of the Empire. However, as the civil war grows, Bob sees a side of the revolution that is blind to the public eye. Not only are the revolutionary soldiers full of crooks, killers, and terrorists, but their leaders are corrupt shills taking bribes from the emperor's political rivals and/or money and arms from foreign powers who want the Empire gone for completely self-serving reasons. Furthermore, as the revolution grows more and more dogmatic and radical, Bob has grown increasingly disturbed by and disgusted with their brutality and bloodlust, and the mental gymnastics that they engage in to justify it. Bob is left with a choice: stay with the revolution that isn't as good as they claim, or defect from it and be considered a traitor by both sides.
