* The day Apophis ascended to the Pantheon was met with a solar eclipse. The gods looking up to explain the sudden darkness were horrified to see the great god Ra being devoured by a snake several miles long. Luckily the other ascended Egyptian gods came to fight Apophis and managed to cut Ra free from inside his stomach. Apophis then retreated to the Hall of Reptiles to recover and plan for his next battle with Ra.
* Apophis desires nothing more than to destroy everything, starting with the Sun, and bring darkness to the world.
* Apophis was considered to be one of the only gods to be all-powerful in Myth/EgyptianMythology, along with possibly [[SpellMyNameWithAThe The]] [[ThePowerOfTheSun Aten]].
** This likely explains why Ra always needs help when fighting him.
* Has attacked Amaterasu on numerous occasions, probably for being a sun god like Ra.
* Princess Celestia is utterly horrified by Apophis' very existence, for obvious reasons. For these same reasons, she also considers him to be worse than Lord Tirek and Discord combined.
* May actually be Ra's brother.
* Neith might be his mother, with the myth stating that he was born from the saliva that she spat out. There's no love between them, though.
* Naturally being pharaohs of AncientEgypt, both Yami Yugi and Ramses employed a number of rituals and superstitions thought to ward off and weaken Apophis.
* Reminds [[Pantheon/RangedWeapons Artemis]] of [[Myth/ClassicalMythology Python]]. It also doesn't help that Apophis' enemy Ra is often confused with another sun god, her brother [[Myth/ClassicalMythology Apollo]].
* With the title "Encircler of the World", Thor mistook him for the "World Serpent" Jörmungandr, the monster he's fated to both kill and be killed by during [[ApocalypseHow Ragnarok]]. He's since been corrected, but he's still uneasy with Apophis around.
** Ironically it's been pointed out that according to [[RealLife some people]] the legend of Jörmungandr may have been inspired by Apophis.
* Samuel L. Jackson has HAD IT with these [[ClusterFBomb motherf***']] snakes in the motherf***' Pantheon. Apophis doesn't care.
** Jones' not too thrilled either.
* Unlike Ra, Apophis has [[DecompositeCharacter 2 counterparts]] in the [[Series/StargateSG1 Stargate Verse]], [[http://stargate.wikia.com/wiki/Apep Apep]] and [[http://stargate.wikia.com/wiki/Apophis Apophis]].
* Rumor has it he apparently has a thing for a [[SeductiveMummy woman]] named [[WesternAnimation/MummiesAlive Nefer-Tina]].
** Many of the other Egyptian deities have expressed their doubt on this, due to how OutOfCharacter it would be for Apophis, and think that it may simply be [[DecompositeCharacter another being all together]]. Many in the House of Pantheon/LoveAndAffection have argued against this theory, saying [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes even evil beings can have loved ones]] and [[EvenEvilCanBeLoved be loved]].
* May have a wife/consort. It's often thought to be Taweret.
** Much like with the Nefer-Tina rumor the Egyptian deities have [[BlatantLies declared this false]] for many of the same reasons. Taweret is also stated to be a very protective and nurturing deity, something Apophis isn't. Plus Taweret is usually thought to be with the god Bes.
* It's best not to speak of his appearance in the film Film/GodsOfEgypt around the few that actually admire him; as one of his more eccentric followers claimed, "Apophis is a snake, not whatever in [[TheUnderworld Duat]] that thing was!"
* Due to having been slain by Sagittarius Aiolos, Apophis attacks the ascended [[Pantheon/CelestialBodiesAndStars Saints of Athena]] (Phoenix Ikki, Pegasus Seiya, Cygnus Hyoga and Andromeda Shun) on sight.
* Apophis [[WesternAnimation/{{Tutenstein}} is not a minion of]] Set, nor are they the [[CompositeCharacter same being]]. He has, however, [[Literature/TheKaneChronicles manipulated Set]] and is said to have even [[Film/GodsOfEgypt assisted Set]] (though his more loyal followers emphatically deny this, as stated above), so long as they meet [[OmnicidalManiac his goals]]. Ultimately, though, both Apophis and Set plan to destroy each other.
* The UsefulNotes/AncientEgyptians feared that any image of Apophis would give him power, so they would always include the image of another deity to subdue or simply prevent Apophis from gaining more power.
** Many have noticed that many of the gods depicted in the images opposing Apophis are cats, leading some to believe that felines may have some sort of advantage or power over him.
*** Ultimately this theory was proven false when one of Ra's battles with the snake ended up in the Hall of Pantheon/{{Felines}}, with none of the cats being able to actually harm him or even be noticed. It was later revealed by the Egyptian deities that cats were seen as warlike and in some cases seen as guardians, meaning that those cat images were being used to represent different deities such as [[Myth/EgyptianMythology Bastet, Anhur and Sekhmet]].
* Was very interested in the fact that Rishid had been invoking his power with the use of the card ''[[TabletopGame/YuGiOh Embodiment of Apophis]]'' and believed he could bring him to his side. However, Rishid wants nothing to do with him and thus helps Yami Yugi and Ramses perform their rituals to ward him off.
* On the topic of Yu-Gi-Oh deities, however, he did manage to get an ally in Zorc, who's the same type of GodOfEvil he is and with connections to Egypt to boot. He's now interested in meeting Don Thousand.
* Believes that Jafar is a sort of worshipper of his, due to the snake imagery, [[RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver wearing colors often associated with him]], and being from UsefulNotes/TheMiddleEast where Ancient Egypt was.
* Apophis once saw an Eye of [[Literature/TheKaneChronicles Horus symbol]] on Percy Jackson's palm and first attacked him while the young deity was on a date with Annabeth. The two managed to escape, but have since faced him several other times.
* Being a god of chaos and seeking the destruction of all creation has naturally made him enemies with Guthix, who now assists the Egyptian deities and Amaterasu in their battles with him.
* The exact size of Apophis is unknown. Some sources say he's about 16 yards long, while others say he's miles long. Annabeth has claimed to have heard from her friends [[Characters/TheKaneChronicles Sadie and Carter Kane]] that he's the size of UsefulNotes/{{Cairo}} and was still growing until he was defeated.
* According to some sources, Apophis cannot be killed, only temporarily defeated.
** [[Literature/TheKaneChronicles He can]], however, be [[CessationOfExistence execrated]] for a time. [[spoiler:It can be made permanent though with the use of his shadow; unfortunately the Egyptian gods refuse to elaborate on it]].
* Is trying to wake up Jörmungandr and help Fenrir in order to start Ragnarok. Fenrir knows that Apophis wants to destroy everything, but doesn't care since he's been prophesied to both kill and be killed by Odin. Nevertheless, the wolf has agreed to an alliance with the serpent.
* Gets along very well with many members of the Hall of Pantheon/{{Demons}}, having command of his own [[OurDemonsAreDifferent demons]], though they are very different from what many would expect, mostly by virtue of having weapons for heads.
* Is a confirmed devourer of dead souls.
* Has supposedly already been killed in [[VideoGame/{{Smite}} the Battleground of the Gods]]. He's not too concerned about this, though; [[DeathIsCheap death has proven itself to be cheap]], as he has returned into the battleground.
* Has learned that an asteroid named after him is going to pass dangerously close to Earth and might even make impact. So far [[OmnicidalManiac he's ecstatic and has been crossing his metaphorical fingers]] [[ColonyDrop that it does crash land on Earth.]]

* Complicated Relationship: ''[[Pantheon/AirBasedTravel Barry Steakfries]]''
* Enemies: '''Every civilization standing, and by extension, every deity and organization willing to protect them''', the House of Pantheon/MilitaryAndWarfare in general
* One of the more inexplicable threats to humanity, all we know about it is that it came from space, and it has an immense talent for global-scale destruction. A large, robotic serpent armed to the teeth with unstoppable weapons, and colored segments functioning in mysterious ways, merging with not only other segments of different colors but also with other same-colored segments to get stronger and stronger. Combine this with how Power Cores rain down upon whatever planet is unfortunate enough to be attacked by Colossatron, and you have a civilization-destroying serpent that only gets stronger over time. The main planet known for attempting to take down Colossatron, with all its landmasses' militaries united by [[GeneralRipper General Moustache]] in an attempt to destroy its cores and the great robotic abomination itself, only for all resistance to prove futile as it wrecked through all the military could throw at it, leaving behind a ruined world.
* The deities of the Pantheon were going about their usual business, only to learn of a swiftly approaching snake-shaped entity from space charging towards the cities within the Pantheon. From space-faring witnesses' feedback, it was a foreign entity with gigantic destructive weapons and little interest in negotiation, so the military forces in the Pantheon had braced for the intruder's assault. Upon the crash landing, Colossatron rose and began its rampage through the cities. The military leaders tried everything from brute force, advanced sabotage tactics, and calculated assaults, but even their most destructive weaponry failed to do more than temporarily hinder the massive world threat. Fortunately, the more powerful deities realized the threat Colossatron posed early enough, and many superhumans, giant mechas, and other deities managed to fight off Colossatron before it got too strong, and eventually wrecked all of its segments, which caused Colossatron to [[SelfDestructMechanism self-destruct violently]], destroying the city it was in and sending several of the defending deities out of commission. While Colossatron failed its initial assault on the Pantheon. its potential had already earned it the attention of some members of the Grand United Alliance of Destruction, who realized how well it could ravage through cities, militaries, and planets given proper support. Noting how reliant the mechanical beast was on its segments, Colossatron was made a mainstay in the Pantheon with the trope of '''Segmented Serpent'''.
* To take on Colossatron better, the Pantheon's defenders studied the very cores that Colossatron regularly uses to fight back against militaries hoping to destroy it, in hopes of increasing the efficiency at which they can take down Colossatron's cores. While there isn't too much they can do to prevent Colossatron from utilizing the cores falling from space to its advantage, they've managed to understand the abilities the Power Cores can bring based on their color, and that the merging of Power Cores makes them much tougher to take apart as well.
** For the primary color cores, the '''red''' Power Cores are essentially ballistics-based, launching explosive missiles, cluster bombs, and also massive shotgun blasts to wreck structures and clusters of military vehicles, and sometimes directly draining life and energy from targets to heal itself through a device known as The Reaper. The '''yellow''' Power Cores are optimized for direct assault, with deadly laser beams, pulse cannons, sniper cannons, and even usage of compressed sonic-wave rings to bring down any opposer of Colossatron matching its size, whether mecha or monster. The '''blue''' Power Cores are the most apt for crowd control and sabotage, using electric blasts, ice cannons, and even tractor beams to weaken even the most organized group attacks.
** The secondary color cores are primarily created from the merging of different color cores, but the new powers they bring make Colossatron a much more versatile threat in exchange. The '''orange''' Power Cores are the most dreaded in terms of complete and widespread destruction, incinerating everything too close with flamethrowers or rings of fire, as well as titanic miniguns and boomerang launchers for shredding defenses apart. The '''green''' Power Cores are potent as energy weapons, whether they be plasma cannons, energy sawblades, or a helix beam, or if none of them, a core capable of regenerating the damage from other power cores. The '''purple''' Power Cores are Colossatron's most alien and mysterious armaments, being able to send out attack or repair drones, rip through anything with an advanced railgun, or even [[UnrealisticBlackHole launching black holes!]]
* Colossatron appears to have a one-track-minded desire of laying waste to cities and quickly moving onto other ones, which delights the Grand United Alliance of Destruction due to how dedicated it is to its cause. One problem with working with Colossatron, in spite of its sheer power, is how unpredictable it is. It chooses its own locations to attack, with some preference for easier targets first. It was an unpleasant learning experience for organizations like Shocker, who attempted to use it to target high priority locations, only for it to just attack nearby cities instead. With those who frankly revel in its destruction like Evolto or those similarly indiscriminate in total destruction like Ghidorah and Gigan, they hardly have anything bad to say about it. And even with those experienced in hacking into technology or manipulating it, Colossatron proves difficult to control, with where Colossatron chooses to slither towards, with only its segment weaponry having any chance of being manipulated in its targeting, and occasionally getting its head to charge at a specific target every once in a while, though this redirection isn't too helpful for forcing Colossatron to follow others' directions. The only thing allied entities can do about Colossatron is to take falling Colossatron segments raining from the sky above them and attach them to Colossatron strategically to empower them, while his enemies attempt to destroy said falling cores.
* When it comes to other nasty serpentine entities, The Destroyer among the Mechanical Boss trio can often be seen working alongside Colossatron to turn a land inside out. Given that neither don't seem to have any capability of feelings like pride or envy toward each other, turning them on each other appears to be an unlikely solution to dealing with the both of them at once. Apophis, another evil serpent god, shows much pride in Colossatron's feats of devastation, and likes to believe in his own mind that Colossatron was created in Apophis' image, given how little is known about Colossatron's origin. He'd like it better if Colossatron would try hitting the worshippers of Apophis' enemy gods a little more often, though. Apophis will just have to appreciate the occasions when Colossatron ends up making those people its target a bit more.
* Barry Steakfries has used a variety of mounts and vehicles to wreak destruction among scientists' laboratories, and one of those has included an artificial prototype of Colossatron itself. According to what Barry has said about it, the scientists he's blasted at from time to time had created their own smaller Colossatron due to enjoying its game on their phones, proving to be yet another strange instance of cross-universal awareness, even if it's due to how Barry's and Colossatron's worlds were linked by creation. Barry has been reluctant to let others access the prototype Colossatron, not being too trusting on people using it for good (and given the scientists' inspiration for the prototype, it's unlikely that reverse-engineering it will help understand the four-times-larger real deal more). As for the actual Colossatron, Barry has shown interest in riding on it like with the prototype just for kicks, but recognizes the impracticality of it.
** This hasn't stopped Dr. Eggman from attempting to understand the workings of Colossatron, however. Given Eggman's interest in creating or twisting large incomprehensible monsters and abominations to his will, regardless of whether it ends in his favor or not, Eggman took up investigating and observing Colossatron to see if he can emulate the mechanics of Colossatron and its cores. With his previous work on the Nega-Wisp Armor, which also was powered by colored wisps, Eggman is very sure he has a head start on discovering the secrets of Colossatron, and either controlling it to his own commands or making a better replica of it. Both outcomes, while highly unlikely, also spell nothing but world-class disaster for Sonic and his allies should Eggman somehow achieve the impossible.
* The Neuroi and Colossatron end up colliding forces when they attack cities together, and an unusually high rate, making for a lot of trouble dealing with Neuroi from the air and Colossatron's colorful array of mass destruction from the ground. Given the Neuroi's tendency to absorb minerals from the ground, it's theorized that the Neuroi deliberately follow Colossatron's trail to both harvest what the giant serpent leaves behind on top of shooting down any obstacles to either of them. And like with Colossatron, taking down their cores is necessary for taking them down. The Neuroi have attempted to claim some of Colossatron's cores for themselves, but it has proven unsuccessful and at times only provoked Colossatron's fury towards them, leading to them beginning to blast each other down. The Harvesters also work along with Colossatron, given that a planet with its countries wrecked and unable to fight back makes planet destruction all the more easier, and have been more tactical as to mind Colossatron's boundaries and only help out by attempting to bring Colossatron's cores to the serpent they belong to.
* Given the high stakes posed by the Massive World Threat, both Mechagodzilla II and Kiryu are often deployed to engage Colossatron in battle to cease Colossatron's rampage. However, given Colossatron's affinity with alien threats, both Mechagodzilla I and IV, the latter being animated by the remains of one of Ghidorah's heads, usually arrive to join in Colossatron's deadly conquest, so Colossatron ends up becoming a source of spectacle due to being one of the more common ways to see four Mechagodzillas in the same place. As for Mechagodzilla City, Colossatron minimizes conflict with that particular incarnation, but it's unknown as to whether it's out of pragmatic interests or recognizing that Mechagodzilla as an actual landscape to destroy. Eventually, all of this violence would eventually attract Godzilla himself, himself unhappy to be disturbed by the likes of Colossatron, so Godzilla is often a welcomed sight among other heroic Kaiju trying to stop Colossatron from achieving world destruction.
* Of all the giant monsters to have a notable and determined struggle against the Massive World Threat, Octogeddon has ended up being one of Colossatron's fiercest opponents. Despite Octogeddon having similar goals to Colossatron in wrecking human civilization when he's angry, Octogeddon finds Colossatron's wanton destruction to be too much for even him, along with nature-aligned forces validly sending him to be Colossatron's match, assuming that the giant octopus hasn't gone on his own rampage already. The mutant octopus has been a surprisingly even match for the mechanical serpent, though it sometimes gets uphill for Octogeddon if Colossatron is already well-developed in terms of core combos. Despite Colossatron's advantages in sheer power, Octogeddon has been armed with powerful but versatile tentacles that can mess with not just Colossatron, but his falling cores as well, [[HoistByHisOwnPetard even able to smack them against Colossatron's body]]. Combine that with Octogeddon's own experience in handling giant mechanical serpents from his own initial attack on humanity, and you have a rather exciting match between two colorful giant monsters that never attack each other with the same set of powers as before.
* Another credible threat to Colossatron is the Grey Goo. Usually, it's too small, but if it gets gigantic enough, it would be able to eat its floating cores, and then get a sizable size boost by eating the giant snake ''segment by segment'' before its ends could even self-destruct. As for Colossatron's enemies, it becomes a balancing act on gauging whether the Grey Goo or Colossatron is the bigger threat when both are in the area on a rampage. Usually, the former is considered the lesser threat as it has a ''far less'' varied arsenal than Colossatron.
* Colossatron's tendency to self-destruct in a violent but glorious blaze means that the two main outcomes in a face-off with Colossatron, whether victory in its path of destruction or defeat both mean everything around Colossatron turning into ruins, making Colossatron even more of a valuable tool of the Grand United Alliance of Destruction. Given that attempts to push or throw out Colossatron have proved futile by even the tougher giant mechas in the Pantheon, unless there's a readily available deity able to safely eject Colossatron from the earth, there are two highly requested types of support for minimizing damage from Colossatron. The first are those who are able to evacuate all living inhabitants nearby as soon as possible, and secondly, those who are able to down Colossatron's segments efficiently, even those who would be normally looked down upon for their reputation of [[DestructiveSavior causing mass collateral damage]], including those like [[Pantheon/RobotsAndAutomata M.E.G.A.S.]] for example. Despite the apparent futility of defending a location from Colossatron most of the time, given that Colossatron usually moves on to other countries with a stronger start otherwise, deities see it ideal to quickly remove Colossatron's assault as soon as possible to prevent it from building up strength, and prepare for the next time that Colossatron recovers in space and prepares to strike once again.

* Quetzalcoatl is one of the original Aztec gods. A serpent with feathers instead of scales and sometimes possessing wings, he represented the line between land and sky.
* Unlike most of the Aztec gods, he does not accept blood sacrifices. His brethren do, and there is a good reason why, but he himself doesn't. That is because humanity is said to have been born from his blood.
* [[CrossoverCosmology In the grand scheme of things]], there are other feathered serpent deities out there, such as Kukulkan of the Mayans (who can also be found on the [[VideoGame/{{Smite}} Battlefield of the Gods]]). He generally doesn't concern himself with the neighbouring gods and their people, but he can't help but facepalm (face-wing?) at how [[Pantheon/{{Slaughter}} Kotal Kahn]] ended up more or less killing the Mayan civilization. The possibility that him leaving the Aztec people behind might have been the reason why they are no more doesn't help.
* When Quetzalcoatl came into the Pantheon, he sought out those belonging to his people. Unfortunately, the only ones he could find were [[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure the Pillar Men]]. He isn't impressed with mortals trying to achieve godhood the way they have.
* He deeply regrets the time when he slept with his sister. In fact, after he immolated himself, came back and left to one day return, it is said that he lost quite a large chunk of his godly powers to make him a lesser deity (thought not literally). 127* There seems to be some rivalry between him and [[Pantheon/{{Narrative}} Hastur]], though it is really only because Hastur wants to be the only true god of wind here.
* [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyVIII Has appeared as a Guardian Force]]... [[InNameOnly As some sort of yellow bird-like creature with lightning-based abilities]]. Not even he is sure what was going on then. Regardless, he has offered his services to both Squall Leonhart and Rinoa Heartilly. He has also became a summon for Lady Yuna.
* He himself claims that monkeys came to be when he was ruler of the second Sun (AKA the second world) before his brother Tezcatlipoca struck him down, which caused him to create massive hurricanes in retaliation, thus destroying everything and turning the remaining humans into monkeys. The monkey gods have a hard time believing him, though there is one version (another timeline, perhaps?) where Tezcatlipoca turned humans into monkeys because they were growing less civilized, which made Quetzalcoatl kill all of them in a rage and stop being the Wind Sun to recreate them.
* [[SadlyMythtaken Feels like no one really understands him]]. Most believe that he wants human sacrifices, even though he accepts much less than other gods, and is seen as some evil deity, or a deity [[VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiIVApocalypse who is willing to sacrifice humans just to regain his powers]], especially as the Wind Sun. Of course, he still dislikes [[Pantheon/ReligionAndFaith YHVH]]; even if He hadn't helped Tezcatlipoca to dethrone him when he was the Wind Sun, Quetz is not fond of how controlling YHVH is.
* Even though he himself never personally met them, he does know Jackie Chan, because a statue of himself was brought to life for a while due to the Rat Talisman. Fortunately, Quetzalcoatl didn't mistake him or any of his friends for anyone else this time.
* Many have theorized that the legend of Quetzalcoatl came from the fossils of pterosaurs. Incidentally, he actually owns a Quetzalcoatlus, which another female avatar of his -- often called [[VideoGame/FateGrandOrder Rider Quetz]] for short -- rides on. When he learned that both Rodan and Aerodactyl were pterosaurs themselves, he befriended the ancient beasts.
* Quetzalcoatl has a name that's hard to pronounce and even harder to spell. Because of that, many of resorted to just call him Q, Quetz, or [[Manga/MissKobayashisDragonMaid Lucoa]]. Not Quetzal; [[WesternAnimation/DragonTales there's already an elderly dragon by that name]].
* Has gain a very intense interest in the wrestling styles of Lucha Libre, to the point where he changed his entire fighting style to be more like it. When he learned there were actual Luchadores in the Pantheon, [[SlasherSmile a VERY eager smile]] spread across his face at the idea of fighting them.
* He has grown an interest towards the [[VideoGame/{{Smite}} Battleground of the Gods]], but unfortunately, he couldn't bring his whole Aztec Pantheon, because his Mayan brethren have preceded him. But as a prize for his influence, he's allowed to at times take the place of his counterpart Kukulkan over there at times.

* Pities: Victims of [[JerkassGods his divine family's antics]] (especially his father and grandfather's), [[Pantheon/AfterlifeEntities SCP-1440]]
* Asclepius was the Greek god of medicine, and a patron god of physicians. He was the son of Apollo and Coronis, he killed believing she was unfaithful. However, he was struck by guilt and saved their unborn child. Trained under Chiron, Asclepius had snakes help him in healing pilgrims at his temple. Some myths even say he learned healing from a snake. His symbol, the rod of Asclepius, His symbol, the Rod/Staff of Asclepius is still a prominent symbol for medicine and health care around the world. He was so good at his craft he could bring the dead back to life, which enraged Hades and he had Zeus strike him down with a thunderbolt for defying the natural order. Apollo tried to avenge his son by killing the cyclops who made the thunderbolt, but that just got him kicked out of Mt. Olympus for a time. Still, Zeus wasn't without sympathy and made Asclepius the constellation Ophiuchus. Apollo would revive his son by elevating him into an outright deity.
* Asclepius ascended to the Trope Pantheon because of the reverence that he had from many physicians. The god of medicine, he is a respected figure within the health side of the House of Health and Diseases. Only a few physicians get on his bad side; Fabius Bile because of his ''egregious'' violation of medical ethics makes [[EvenEvilHasStandards even evil physicians sick]], and to a lesser extent the Medic, Fran Madaraki and Qyburn who certainly respect Asclepius' healing abilities but the Greek god isn't fond of the extremes they go to in their field. He's not a fan of Nurse Ratched or Dr Scrivello either for cruelty in their field. Some of the physicians he has a notable fondness of are Ai Haibara for wanting to seek out a cure, and Antonio Trussardi for making his absolutely delicious food have healing traits.
* [[BigScrewedUpFamily Being a Greek god, his relationship to his family is complicated]]. He has the dubious honor of being one of the only[[note]]non-evil[[/note]] beings to piss Hades off in the original mythology as he was taking away his subjects. Despite hating each other, both Hades see this as a sticking point to hate Asclepius and he is still pissed that he got to become a deity and part of Mt Olympus. Asclepius really doesn't like his grandfather for killing him, and he doesn't accept being made into a constellation as an apology...which Zeus considers him being ungrateful. [[VideoGame/FateGrandOrder Recently, Asclepius has had a falling out with his father]] as he hates how he killed his mother [[DisproportionateRetribution for infidelity]]. Still, Apollo does care about him, but his careless and sometimes callous nature has hurt his relationship with his son.
* Asclepius would rather avoid much of the BS of his family as possible. Though a god in both pantheonic terms and literally being divine [[AGodIAmNot he doesn't like being referred to as a god]], and [[NayTheist he has come to hold disdain for gods]] in recent years. Mainly, as a Servant. He prefers to be remembered as a doctor and physician first. There are members of his family he's on unambiguous good terms, though; even though in some myths Apollo ordered Artemis to kill his mom Asclepius is close to "Aunty Artemis" as she helped him with his dream to conquer death. Chiron helped raise and mentor him so he's cool, and Hestia is LovedByAll members of the Greek pantheon. There's more complex interactions with other members of his and other pantheons
** Prometheus sees within Asclepius some of himself; someone who wants to help people regardless of the order of the gods. Asclepius is surprised that the Titan could ever forgive his grandfather, which he admitted "not entirely". While Prometheus is on more difficult terms with Camp Half-Blood because he had sided with [[Pantheon/FleshEaters Cronus' forces]] during the Second Titanomachy, Asclepius is still well accepted within the camp as he acts as a physician there. He was quite impressed by [[Pantheon/{{Accessories}} Leo Valdez]] for [[spoiler:creating his own version of the Physician's Cure to revive himself after Gaia's attack]]. Dionysus is another relative chummy with Asclepius; they have a similar tragedy in how their mother died, though the former is on much better terms with his dad, and Dionysus is one of the friendly deities. That being said, Asclepius wishes he stopped bugging him about that hangover cure.
** He was worried that meeting Zagreus would just rile up Hades even more, but it turns out the lord of the underworld doesn't mind the two becoming friends so long as Asclepius doesn't "mess with things not meant for him". The two like sharing stories and talking about issues with their family. As a Greek god, he naturally was asked what he thinks about Kratos and his boy. Asclepius can understand why Kratos has a ''lot'' of issues regarding the Greek pantheon, but he prefers to leave him be and not make the same mistakes many of his relatives made dealing with the Ghost of Sparta.
** Outside of his pantheon, Asclepius was able to make friends with Tawaret. She's the Egyptian goddess of childbirth and pregnancy, he's the god of medicine. Tawaret naturally saw the benefit of a trained, divine physician being on good terms with her and Asclepius has asked his daughters to help Tawaret with delivery and childbirth. Within the Aztec pantheon, he tends to keep his distance [[BlueAndOrangeMorality as many of them have a strange sense of right and wrong]], though he is more cordial with Quetzacoatl as they're one of few deities not demanding HumanSacrifice. They're also a serpent and a Servant [[VideoGame/FateGrandOrder in the same series]], so they have that in common.
* Asclepius scoffed when he learned of "[[Recap/TheSimpsonsS4E20WhackingDay Whacking Day]]", feeling that it was a barbaric practice and he's glad Lisa Simpson fought against it. Being a know-it-all she was interested in the god of medicine due to his historical impact, though she's skeptical of the claims he's a deity. [[AGodIAmNot He's relieved by this as he doesn't like his divinity being pointed out]]. The son of Apollo has a strong affinity for snakes, and there was even a species of snake named after him which he's let join his wife and daughters as a herald. Asclepius isn't blind to [[SnakesAreSinister the negative reputation snakes have]], with Apophis being the most stand-out example. Voldemort and the Basilisk aren't in his good books either due to their crimes, and the poor terms they're on have been made poorer by Voldemort wanting to force him to make an elixir of CompleteImmortality.
* Seviper wasn't one of these bad snakes, [[PoisonousPerson but she is quite the opposite]] of a HealingSerpent. Still, she was interested in a snake-handling doctor and to her anger, her eternal rival Zangoose was interested too. By studying them Asclepius has developed an effective anti-venom for Seviper's poisoning, and a better understanding of the Toxic Boost ability. Chansey and Audino were more interested in Asclepius as they are healer Pokemon, and they wanted to offer up their Softboiled and Heal Pulse to aid him. Nurse Joy wondered where they had gone off to, and once she found Asclepius asked for his autograph...this pleased him. He was also asked for an autograph from Orochimaru, which he was less OK. Orochimaru is trying to not be the villain he used to be and is genuinely interested in Asclepius' abilities as a healer, but Asclepius isn't sure if he can trust him yet.
* Surprisingly enough, Asclepius and Moses get along. They didn't think they had much in common given Moses is a monotheist originally from Egypt, and Asclepius a DeityOfHumanOrigin, but Moses also rocks the serpent staff. When Moses inquired to God about how to treat this, he was told to create an effigy of a snake on a stake and all one needed to do to be healed of the poison was to look at it. Moses is generally chill and religious differences asides he liked learning about the physician's craft, and it helps that [[AGodIAmNot Asclepius doesn't see himself as a god]]. Professor Slughorn got along with the divine doctor as he represents a positive side of snakes, which is refreshing for him given how often House Slytherin is labeled as "the bad guy house". He carries out potion making which cures petrified students, relieves the symptoms of lycanthropy, and cures a student of the effects of a love potion. Harry was interested in learning with Slughorn, as he felt comfortable speaking parseltongue if it meant talking to Asclepius' snakes.
* Hades' biggest concern with allowing Asclepius to have free reign in the Trope Pantheon is that he will discover a true cure for death, or in other words immortality. While the god of medicine does consider searching for immortality, Zeus very loudly threatened to strip his divinity if he tries it; he has enough problems with his brother [[EverybodyHatesHades when he goes all villain mode]], but [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness this is a matter his OG personality being angry at the idea]]. Apollo had to convince Chiron to give him a warning not to develop a permanent death cure, [[LoopholeAbuse but he is allowed to see what others managed with it]]. In order to [[ScareEmStraight scare him straight]] Zeus pointed him in the direction of Tenebrae and Darth Plagueis, [[PapaWolf which backfired when Apollo threatened his own father never to pull that stunt again]]. This has slightly improved Asclepius' opinion on his dad, but they still don't get along.
* Because DeathIsCheap in the Trope Pantheon, Asclepius doesn't have to worry about Hades or Zeus' immediate wrath as there are different rules here than in the mortal world...though they're still on really poor terms with the son of Apollo. Many with a hand in death are offended by the healer's ascension as they see him as a violator of the natural order, and say his claims he'll now follow the natural order are lies to placate his grandfather. Not all incarnations of death hate him, though; Ereshkigal did give him a warning not to take subjects from her afterlife, something that Asclepius took the hint. And Death of the Endless? Honestly she couldn't care; people come back to life, they can live for a ''long'' time but at the end of the day they'll eventually be claimed forever by [[DontFearTheReaper her so why not let him have his fun]]. The Discworld Death, having come to sympathize with and be fond of humanity, feels Hades is being too irate at Asclepius, however he warned Asclepius he would have to interfere if his duty forces him to.
* Nekron took perhaps the most offense to his past resurrections, but of course being an OmnicidalManiac life in general offends him. Much to his relief, Asclepius cannot resurrect Black Lanterns, and much to Asclepius' fear the moment Nekron could potentially get at him with a Black Lantern Coronis. Asclepius is well-aware of Nekron's hypocrisy as he has permitted revivals to act as sleeper agents for his scheme, [[MoralMyopia but the Lord of the Unliving thinks it doesn't matter if it gets the results he wants]]. Dhuum and the Death from Final Destination hold Asclepius in contempt for helping others cheat death. However Asclepius considers his true foes to be gods of disease like Nurgle and Peryite. The former especially creeps the god of medicine out because [[BlueAndOrangeMorality he legitimately thinks horrifying diseases is a form of love]] and then there's his treatment of Isha. And well, if you thought his dad and grandpa were bad partners. The Red Death is another great enemy of Asclepius due to being the embodiment of a nasty plague.
* Compared to the others who hate his ability to resurrect, the incarnation of Death better known as the Wolf was more reasonable but still took great umbridge. He considered his resurrections "laughing in the face of death", however Asclepius defended his actions as unlike the charge he labeled at Puss in Boots he doesn't take life lightly...in fact, it's his value of life which motivates him to break the laws of nature in order to preserve it. Though angry, this version of Death conceded that Asclepius isn't guilty of hubris and did respect life. However, he left him an ultimatum; if he is ever caught bringing the dead back to life again, there'll be no mercy from him.
* The god of medicine was interested in Guts. Just like he and his uncle Dionysus, Guts was BornFromADeadWoman. It's a sign that even as a literal newborn, the man had an indomitable will to live and Asclepius can respect that. So long as he respects his field and behaves he is welcome to visit as a patient. Naturally, he's sympathetic to all the suffering Guts has had to endure. Being one of the more stable Greek gods, and being annoyed by his family's [[JerkassGods unpleasant behavior]], he's naturally sympathetic to the many victims of his family. He's also sympathetic to the plight of SCP-1440; like Asclepius, the Old Man From Nowhere challenged death and paid for it. Because of his ability to heal, he was sought out by Gerald Robotnik in a moment of clarity seeking help to find a cure for NIDS. Asclepius has sworn he'll find it, but he doesn't want to work with him yet because he's not fully reformed. Maria and Shadow are welcome to talk with him, however.
* Asclepius considers the Red Viper of Dorne an interesting fellow. Oberyn Martell is in some ways a stark contrast to him; he's a [[TheCasanova Casanova]] in an open relationship while Asclepius is a one-woman man, and his skills as a MasterPoisoner are quite opposite to Asclepius' medicine. However the Dornish prince is well-read, charming and compassionate [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold despite his rough edges and cruel side]]. For Asclepius, he's like the more positive side of his dad. The two have come to enjoy each other's company, and will occasionally be accompanied by Alice and Miia, who are two good-natured snakes...well, half-snake (lamia being the technical word). He's invited Aerith to come over and analyze Oberyn's poisons so she may improve her ability to make poison-countering spells.

* Opposed by: [[Pantheon/AntiHeroism Laharl]], [[Pantheon/{{Philosophy}} Wonder Woman]]
* Pities: Those who try but never can get their true love
* The first woman created to be the partner of Adam by YHVH, she was originally a naïve and idealistic soul who believed peaceful coexistence was possible between man and demon. YHVH, furious at the idea that humans and demons could coexist, demonized her and kicked her out of paradise. Although she would embrace her newfound nature as a demon, a part of her always yearns for Adam and those days of old. She was eventually manipulated by Lucifer using those same feelings, convincing her to join the forces of Chaos to be with Adam's reincarnation and to remove her replacement Eve. Eventually, Lucifer's honey-coated words made her realize she should ascend into the pantheon, in order to become powerful enough to be with Adam again.
* Her most common design bears a lot of similarities [[Film/Ghostbusters1984 to Gozer]]. The Ghostbusters mistook her for the destroyer having returned and hassled her for it. She's still pissed off by that. [[VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiIV Often]] takes the form of a FallenAngel and acts more like a Babylonian goddess, though it's worth noting that's closer to where the name "Lilith" originally came from.
* Extracanonical Judeo-Christian sources state she was kicked out for trying to be on top of Adam during intercourse instead of submitting. [[StrawFeminist This has been perceived as an anti-feminist tale]], though later on, some have seen her as a feminist symbol for this. She's taken great interest in Wonder Woman as she's a feminist superheroine whose people, the Amazons, were originally [[StrawFeminist meant to represent the dangers of women in power]] before DC Comics flipped it around. While Diana notices a parallel, she's not a fan of her more amoral behavior. However, they do share a contempt towards Cersei Lannister because she's a FemaleMisogynist.
* The snake wrapped around her is the Archangel Samael, taking the form of a simple serpent around one of the many women he has slept with. Lilith does not seem to mind his appearance, having been demonized to have reptilian traits herself like three fingers. [[VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiIV The only time]] she is ever seen without Samael upon her is the form she takes that gives off a FallenAngel vibe, even taking a human-like appearance that resembles Gabriels human form Gabby. She is also at her worst in this form, where she seeks to spread knowledge and wisdom without care and amused by the death caused by the formerly ignorant mindless people becoming demons due to the knowledge they gain. [[spoiler: This form may be influenced by the Babylonian Goddess who shares the same name with her and the ''Demonic Gene'' experiments that happened in the past. Lilith was a failed test subject in those experiments.]]
** In this form she goes out of her way to spite Gabriel, viewing her as [=YHVHs=] lapdog and a slave to order. Gabriel, in turn, comes to view her as an enemy due to mocking both her appearance and actions.
* Her snake helps [[SnakesAreSexy make her come off as even more attractive]], [[Pantheon/LoveOther and Sigmund Freud had a field day with it]]. Voldemort and Jafar were both interested in her due to their borderline fetish with snake imagery, however, she quickly rebuked them-Voldemort because [[TheSociopath he's completely incapable of feeling love]], and Jafar because [[DirtyOldMan he's a creeper]] who probably just wants to marry her for power. And she considers Apophis' desire to destroy everything horrifying. On the other hand, she's on really good terms with Boa Hancock, and it's easy to see why they both wear a FeatherBoaConstrictor [[SnakesAreSexy that further extenuate their]] ProudBeauty and are in love with a man who won't reciprocate their feelings. She gets along with the lamia Alice as well. Lilith seems to be interested in Quetzalcoatl because of his [[Manga/MissKobayashisDragonMaid busty succubus form, Lucoa]].
* Considered to be [[SuccubiAndIncubi a succubus]], if not the main succubus of her faith. As such, she gravitates towards Morrigan and Lilith Aensland, the latter even sharing her name. She also seems interested in Slaanesh, though [[EveryoneHasStandards She Who Thirsts has obsessions that disturb even Lilith]]. She sees Calistra, Shelyn and Desire of the Endless to be rivals, though is friendly with Calistra. On good terms with a number of the [[LovableSexManiac lovable sex maniacs]] like Panty Anarchy.
* Men must be wary of her special ability to make all men blindly fall for her. While Mystic/Curse protection may help, this barely helps when she's just as skilled without even using her natural magic. Demons of both genders and women amongst the pantheon are more lucky, as there's only 1/3 of a chance it will work on them. Nevertheless, those that fall under her thrall follow her blindly to their deaths. She has an interest in Luka for his ability to attract various [[CuteMonsterGirl attractive monsters]] and is thinking of studying him to buff her own love potions. She's also interested in the power harem leads like Issei Hyodo and Shido Itsuka have.
* Has nothing but contempt for the many rapists in the pantheon, which isn't too surprising given her background and mythology. She takes particular umbrage with Roose Bolton and Griffith. Roose considers his raping of lowborn women to be [[DroitDuSeigneur his right as a lord]] and wanted to kill [[Pantheon/TortureAndMutilation Ramsay and his mother]] when she came back to him. That kind of patriarchal [[TheSociopath psychopathy]] utterly revolts her. Griffith she hates additionally for using his charm to ruin people's lives and being a demon [[TranshumanTreachery who completely sold out his humanity]].
** Very sympathetic towards Medusa for how she was cursed for being raped by [[Pantheon/{{Weapons}} Poseidon]] and generally being seen as a villainess by their respective faiths.
* Welcome in the Hall of Pantheon/{{Demons}}, for her desire to seek co-existence between humans and demons, and for siring many half-demons with other demons. This and her sexuality utterly disgusts Judge Claude Frollo, and she's rightfully disgusted by him. She also wishes to spread knowledge and wisdom to humans. This got Zamasu riled up, as she was both a mortal and demon([[VideoGame/DragonballXenoverse2 which he sees as]] ''even lower'') spreading knowledge he believes mortals abuse. Were she a time-traveller, it would've hit every single one of his [[BerserkButton berserk buttons]].
* Sympathizes greatly with and developed an odd kinship with Yubel, both of them yearning for the one they love. She is happy that Yubel and Judai are united and hopes to one day be with Adam too. Yubel, in turn, has agreed to help her one day show Adam her bottomless love. Also became friends with Medea after the two let out some frustration about their past when they thought no one was watching. The two realized they had both been screwed by the Gods and then had the relationship with their first love completely ruined. Though Lilith does envy the fact that Medea found love again with Souichirou while she can never move on from her precious Adam.
* Has taken the role of the GUAC's [[HotLibrarian librarian.]] With the help of her myriad Lilim daughters, she cares for the various banned books that the organization has rescued throughout time and space to store in The Lab. Though she is all too willing to give them out, so that knowledge and wisdom can be spread to all, woe betide anyone who she believes is attempting to harm them. More than a few gods and goddesses were lured by the prospect of a library full of forbidden, arcane knowledge, only to find Captain Underpants or Fifty Shades of Gray among the enshrined volumes. When Lucifer says the library holds any book that has been historically silenced, he MEANS any book.
* Wants to remind the deities of Pantheon/NeonGenesisEvangelion she isn't related to the giant Lilith angel [[spoiler:[[Pantheon/{{Calmness}} Rei Ayanami]] was partly cloned from.]] And for God's sake, [[BerserkButton don't compare her to]] the Lilith in Series/{{Supernatural}}. 231* A kung-fu master who has lived for over a century, Master Oogway is a turtle who is incredibly skilled at kung-fu, being the one who invented it as a form of self-defense in Po's world in addition to having plenty of wisdom. He was Shifu's mentor and the one who chose Po to become the Dragon Warrior, eventually paving the way for the panda to become skilled at kung-fu. Oogway also easily defeated Tai Lung before the latter became imprisoned and once Tai Lung broke out, Oogway knew that it was time for Po to become the Dragon Warrior and after ensuring that Shifu would help Po become the Dragon Warrior, Oogway disappeared into the heavens, his time having apparently come to an end and to avoid easily defeating Tai Lung again.
* Rumors have been going around the Pantheon involving sightings of an old tortoise who is also a kung-fu master. Po knew what those rumors were talking about and after searching for a while, suspected where that tortoise was and decided to use the Wuxi Finger Hold on himself to get to the truth. Po ended up in the Spirit Realm and a short time later, he encountered Master Oogway again. Oogway had a feeling that such a meeting between would occur again and Po decided to tell Oogway about the Pantheon and what has happened in the time he was there. Oogway is aware that not only has Po continued to improve himself since their last meeting, but that there are many challenges to be confronted in the Pantheon, including ones much greater than what Po has done in the past. When Po asked if Oogway would get himself involved in the Pantheon's greater challenges, the tortoise only gave out a light smile, suggesting that there's a lot out there and that there are no accidents when it comes to Pantheonic events.
* During his conversation with Po, Oogway learned about other pandas skilled in combat, with Po citing Chen Stormstout in particular as an equal in terms of capability. The turtle was very curious about what Po was talking about and decided to visit these other pandas. He encountered Chen, his daughter Li Li, and their friend the Panda King during a stroll of the Pantheon and said that Po told him about them and their camaraderie. After a brief test of their skills, the other pandas were able to see why Po had good things to say about Oogway and the turtle has made visits to the group every now and then. Oogway is noted to be fond of the drinks that Chen has prepared and sees plenty of potential in Li Li.
* With his skills in close combat, along with a weapon to use, a number of deities find Oogway to be similar to the Ninja Turtles in terms of expertise in combat, but with wisdom and skill similar, and possibly greater than that of their mentor Splinter. The Ninja Turtles are impressed with what Oogway is capable of, though they haven't seen him frequently since he is usually somewhere else most of the time.
** This eventually got the attention of the turtles' arch-nemesis, The Shredder, who initially thought that Oogway was some long-lost ally to the Turtles that needed to be eliminated. While Oogway definitely had nothing to do with the Turtles as they are now, it didn't change the fact that he was providing some assistance to them and that Oogway's skills are equal to, if not greater than, the Turtles' capabilities put together. The Shredder was also angered with the supposed comparisons between Oogway and Splinter. Given how capable Oogway is for his age, The Shredder has taken his time to hone his skills not only for another battle against the Ninja Turtles, but for a potential fight against Oogway.
* Many have compared him to Yoda, being an old, green, eccentric, and effective mentor to someone learning a skill needed to combat a dangerous threat and disappeared when his time came to an end so that the trainee could continue to grow as a character. Both are aware of the similarities and have become friendly with each other because of it. Oogway is also highly fascinated with what The Force is based on conversations he's had with Yoda.
* Besides the TMNT, there were a handful of other turtles that Oogway became aware of. The moment that Oogway saw Bowser, he knew that the King of Koopas was a potent threat. Even after learning about how some members of his Koopa army weren't completely bad and that Bowser himself has had some moments of heroism, it didn't change the fact that Bowser has done a lot of harm more often than not. Bowser, not wanting anyone to interfere with his plans, fought Oogway and the battle was more brutal than expected for both sides, especially after Bowser transformed into Giga Bowser. After the fight subsided, Oogway noted that Bowser's brutish fighting style was fitting for someone with plans to conquer his enemies and warned the Koopa King that he won't go easy on him the next time they meet and battle again.
* His skills and him being responsible for the kung-fu in his world has led to other martial artists and generally battle-hungry deities to seek him out and see if he’s really as good as what’s been said about him. Ryu was a martial artist who learned about Oogway’s legacy and happened to come across him during his travels. Oogway sensed Ryu’s fighting spirit and noticed that the time Ryu spent traveling and fighting evil has played a significant role in making him famed amongst other fighters. Ryu also told Oogway about having to deal with a personal demon that manifested into a separate entity known as Kage, one that was bloodthirsty and determined to make others fear him. While Oogway holds Ryu in high regard, he has nothing but scorn for Kage, and that contempt is something that Kage returns after a fight against Oogway that ended with Oogway defeating the demon and giving him some harsh words.
** On the subject of World Warriors, Ryu also told Oogway about Akuma, a dangerous rival who is looking for strong opponents to battle. From what Ryu has said about Akuma, Oogway sees Akuma as someone that could threaten the stability of martial arts if the latter keeps up what he’s doing. Eventually, Akuma crossed paths with Oogway and the turtle saw a strong source of dark energy coming from Akuma. After a fight between the two that saw Akuma acknowledging Oogway’s skills, Oogway pointed out that even if Akuma does have a code of honor and really isn’t evil, his actions of trying to gain more power put him at a great risk of becoming no different from the evil beings that he’s said to despise.
* For how much of a paragon Oogway is, he wasn't always like that in the past. Back then he worked alongside Kai, a yak who sought power, and at one point, Oogway was in grave danger before being saved by a group of pandas who taught him how to use chi. This led to Oogway reforming himself, but it also caused him and Kai to have a falling out, eventually resulting in Kai getting sent to the Spirit Realm...at least for a while before Kai defeated Oogway (who wasn't putting up much of a fight against him for some reason) and escaped. Oogway has found himself on good terms with those who have redeemed themselves and those who are in the process of atoning for their past actions given his experience in the past.
* During his travels, Oogway met Clint Barton, the hero formerly known as Hawkeye, who was now going under the name Ronin following [[Film/AvengersEndgame the loss of his family]]. Sensing that this troubled man was in danger of losing himself to vengeance completely, Oogway gave Clint some wise words that helped him regain his inner peace. The two have since become very friendly, with Clint owing Oogway a debt of gratitude.

* Orochi, named such due of its resemblance to the legendary Yamata no Orochi, is a ''[[TheHeartless yoma]]'' who has supposedly existed for centuries, resting within the castle where the Hebijo Academy of Serpent Girls was located. It was resurrected by Dougen, using the blood of the countless Hebijo students who have died, and fueled by their hatred and jealousy.
* While Orochi is horrifying ([[https://images.eurogamer.net/2015/usgamer/senran-kagura-2-spot3.jpg yet surprisingly small]]) from the outside, wait until you see its insides... It is like a ruined temple embedded in flesh, with its "inhabitants" being shinobi made out of its blood. Those inside it will be corrupted, turning them [[RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver into black and red versions of themselves]] and adopting their most spiteful and hate-filled mindset possible.
** Further research support that even if Orochi cannot corrupt someone, it can simply create [[EvilDoppelganger "Scarlet"]] versions of the gods to fight the real one instead.
* To put it simply, ''almost everyone'' from its universe opposes it. Even though it is kept sterilized so it cannot go rampant, Asuka and Homura want it ''dead''. And the others are there to support them.
* No one is sure how it came into the Pantheon, and whoever was responsible, they don't want to admit it for fear of getting skewered by Homura, among other things.
** [[spoiler:Some gods suggest that Orochi was brought here by Junko Enoshima as payback against Haruka. Helping this theory is Junko's statement that she believes that having it around would be beneficial (to her, of course) if the situation requires it.]]
* Orochi used to be called the "(Un)holy Bearer of {{Womb Level}}s" in Dominions, but the wandering state and the fact that other ''yoma'' started appearing around Orochi made it really hard to contain. So it was moved here. It was an oddball regarding Dominions, anyway.
** [[spoiler:Even so, Jedah seems to think that Orochi might be a perfect vassal to bear that "new god" of his to create the perfect world]].
* Being that Orochi is the first snake deity in the House of Beasts, [[Pantheon/TheatreAndSpectacle Samuel L. Jackson]] had a reaction [[Film/SnakesOnAPlane which you can guess already]].
* Chibiki ''[[OffScreenMomentOfAwesome somehow]]'' managed to take Orochi. No one is sure how she managed to do that. However, she can simply summon Orochi and has only minimal control over it.
* Believe or not, Orochi here is due of a result of an ''incomplete'' summoning [[note]]To fully summon Orochi, it would require blood from ten exceptionally powerful Shinobi. Dougen only got blood from four[[/note]], explaining why it looks like it might fall down at any given moment. [[TheAnimeOfTheGame There exists one version]] what looks more properly snake-like, meaning that either that is Orochi's true form and the form it takes here is just it trying to gain a physical form or that isn't even Orochi's true form.
** [[spoiler:As it turned out, that version wasn't Orochi's true form. Dougen eventually was able to summon True Orochi, taking a form of a multi-armed and legged giant woman with tremendous power, with power to practically rain lasers from the skies. While Asuka and Homura were able to stop the beast, and it was finished off by Kagura, the threat it possesses has made many deities cautious of True Orochi]].
** This is probably why Kyurem doesn't look highly on Orochi; while Kyurem knows what it feels like being "incomplete", Orochi is nothing more than destructive force practically struggling to validate its summoning.
* Most gods want to call Orochi "it". While Orochi has breasts and a feminine figure, [[FanDisservice that just makes it worse]].
** Some might argue that Orochi is more of a reptile than a serpent due of having limbs, but most people think Orochi is more like a serpent with a human torso and limbs than anything else.
* In a plan called "Orochi Rising", it almost manifested in the Cyberspace as a digital entity composed of multiple bots which were to spread chaos and conflict across the Internet and social media in order to create the ultimate program capable of plunging the entire world into chaos through manipulation of human's feelings. However, the "digital ''youma'' Generals" were stopped before the digital Orochi would manifest fully (mainly as 5th Seat was too busy messing with [[Pantheon/LustfulActs Katsuragi's]] Twitter account) and it was deleted.

* Interested In: [[Pantheon/MedicalConditions The Grineer]]
* A former member of the Legendary Sannin and [[FallenHero hero of Konohagakure]], Orochimaru is one of the most feared and deadliest threats the Ninja World has dealt with. [[TheUnfettered Utterly fixated]] on his goal to [[ImmortalitySeeker attain immortality]] by any means, Orochimaru delved into science and was not above malicious and morally unethical experimentation towards living beings. He soon developed the ability to [[GrandTheftMe hop from one body to another]], eventually gaining a host, though said host would die upon being inhabited. Responsible for [[MoralEventHorizon numerous unforgivable acts]], especially the [[HeroicSacrifice death of the Third Hokage and his former sensei, Hiruzen Sarutobi]], and [[EvilVersusEvil doing his best to maintain competition against the Akatsuki]], whom he was also a former member of, Orochimaru has certainly built up quite the infamous reputation.
** Beyond the malicious and diabolical scientist he is, Orochimaru had a [[TragicVillain rather pitiable past]]. He never really got to know his parents and his ultimate goal of immortality stemmed from the fact that he wanted to live long enough to encounter reincarnations of his parents. He also genuinely wanted to help Konoha and did get along with his teammates Jiraiya and Tsunade. Unfortunately, his experience in the Second Great Shinobi War left him incredibly jaded and disillusioned, until Orochimaru derailed on genuinely good intentions and [[FaceHeelTurn steadily turned into the threat he is now]].
** Despite his renowned threat, [[DiscOneFinalBoss Orochimaru]] was ultimately double-crossed by his newest apprentice, Sasuke Uchiha, whom he intented to have as his bodily vessel. And even after using his Cursed Seal of Heaven to return, he wound up sealed by Itachi, courtesy of his Susanoo. His legacy would he carried on to his [[DragonAscendant top lieutenant]], Kabuto Yakushi. He would return, although he decided to aid the Allied Shinobi Forces in winning the Fourth Great Shinobi War, wanting to preserve and continue on with his work.
** Surprisingly enough, Orochimaru managed to [[KarmaHoudini get off mostly unpunished]]. That said, he has mellowed out considerably and he's a lot less malicious than he used to be. He's used his genetic material to create two sons, Log and Mitsuki and has proven himself to be a [[GoodParents good parental figure to both of them]], even wanting Mitsuki to create his own path in life. Despite past animosity, Orochimaru will work with Konoha and other alliances, even if it's [[TeethClenchedTeamwork difficult at best]].
* Was once a member of the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfEvil and even held a position in the Pantheon/GUAEMastermind thanks to his devious intelligence, vicious nature and general reliance. However, after several events in which he had been defeated, killed and sealed quite a number of times and getting to observe the Shinobi World's progression and change, Orochimaru has left the GUAE, much to the leadership's shock and dismay. That said, he hasn't joined any of the other major GUA's nor has he made a presence in an established group. It is said that Orochimaru is currently in hiding, though what allegiance he has made is left unclear...
** Melkor was the being who had Orochimaru ascended in the first place, intending to capitalize on his scientific skills to bolster the GUAE, which the former Sannin accepted without any problem. But now that Orochimaru has left the GUAE rather abruptly and with little signs of where he has disappeared to, Melkor has not been happy about the situation. As compensation, Melkor now has Kaguya as his representing world's replacement, but unfortunately, Orochimaru is opposed to the Mother of Chakra, and he's finding it amusing that he's now against the GUAE.
** That said, Orochimaru does have ties to some villains. He has won the respect of Bowser after hearing about his relationship with Mitsuki, though he does admittedly find Orochimaru's experiments to be pretty iffy on his end. In contrast, Malekith is impressed by what Orochimaru is capable of in battle and lauds his scientific mind, thinking an alliance with him would be of great asset. Orochimaru also finds some common ground with Dr. Cortex, considering both of them are [[MadScientist Mad Scientists]] and have plotted to TakeOverTheWorld on numerous occasions, though Orochimaru has since fizzled out of the latter. He also found some common grounds with Lord Recluse and Ra's al Ghul, with both of them being intellectual immortals.
* Some Pantheonic residents have noted to have seen Orochimaru around at times. His elusiveness has made him quite a popular "cryptic creature" by some of the more wackier sightseers. He personally finds it amusing.
* Tellingly enough, Orochimaru does visit the Pantheon/{{Reptiles}} Sub-House due to his affinity for serpents. He gets along with most of the villainous snakes, but surprisingly enough, he's found himself opposing Apophis. Despite the former telling him to join his side, Orochimaru flatly declined and rebelled and labelled Apophis an enemy instead. That said, many believe that Orochimaru doesn't want his experiments to be wasted by an OmnicidalManiac, hence his opposition.
** Amusingly enough, he is terrified of insects. Orochimaru does his best to not get close to the borders of the Pantheon/{{Insects}} Sub-House. When asked by Rexxar, he simply stated that "bugs creep me out". Unfortunately for Orochimaru, some of the residents who hate him are planning to terrify and/or prank him in ways that involve insects.
* Initially sworn enemies against Konoha, they're now in a very odd relationship with one another. Many still hate, or at least, oppose Orochimaru, [[MoralEventHorizon given how he went ahead to torment the village]] and [[HeroKiller being responsible for the death of the Third Hokage and his own teacher]]. In contrast, Mitsuki is not only accepted into the village, but has grown adjusted and comfortable as well and treasuring his friends and partners, [[Pantheon/CombatOther Boruto and Sarada]].
** Naruto was generous enough to allow Orochimaru back into Konoha for one occasion; to see his cloned son graduate. As shocking as it sounds, its also a surprisingly tender moment, given how Orochimaru has wanted Mitsuki to be better than him and is making good progress.
* Back in his GUAE days, Orochimaru would often hang out with Voldemort, given how similar the two were. However, since Orochimaru's departure, their friendship has since devolved into a harsh rivalry, with Voldemort feeling betrayed that Orochimaru would ditch him so suddenly. Orochimaru on the other hand couldn't care less, but would take the time to mock and troll Voldemort for his ineffectiveness plus his flawed immortality.
* Knowing that his defection from the GUAE has left him mostly bereft of allies, Orochimaru decided to play a hand in getting the Sound Five back to his side. The truly resurrected group were pleased to be working for Orochimaru again, but the circumstances of Orochimaru's alignment has left them baffled and confused. They initially didn't want to be in a truce against Konoha, given that they died fighting against Konoha ninja, but Orochimaru's feared reputation, plus the fact that his son Mitsuki is a resident made the Sound Five complacent and begrudgingly went with it.
** Overtime however, Kimimaro has become more open and affable towards Konoha, given that Sasuke was able to take care of Jugo rather well, in addition to Boruto helping Jugo out at one point.
* Of course, just because he's strayed from much of his former malicious traits doesn't mean others wouldn't still brand him as a threat. The most prominent of these is Mikoto Mikasa who's experience with clones resulted in her clashing against Orochimaru every now and then, especially considering the unethical treatment he went through with creating a being who was able to harness [[GreenThumb Wood Style]]. A similar sentiment also goes for Aerith Gainsborough who herself was experimented as a child and stays away from Orochimaru as much as possible. Usalia hates him for possessing [[{{Necromancer}} necromantic powers]] and Jason Todd cannot stand the idea of Orochimaru going around doing experiments after all his past villainous actions and will waste no second in trying to kill him.
* Has been intrigued by the Grineer, given that they are a CloneArmy that is mass-produced without stop and seek immortality for their Twin Queens. That said, Orochimaru is wary about the hostility of the Grineer and is taking his time on how to approach them. He'd certainly like to learn from them, though he feels like his chances of forming an alliance with them are rather slim.
* His reunion with Jiraiya was... not exactly how they'd have envisioned it. Orochimaru expected Jiraiya to start a fight against each other, and he proved himself right. After a brief scuffle, Orochimaru explained that he was no longer pursuing revenge towards Konoha plus he had already achieved the immortality that he had sought for. He also stated that he had to change, lest he had to die off, but asserted that he wasn't trying to be offensive towards his former comrade. Jiraiya understood what he was saying and told him that while he may have genuinely changed, he's still not going to be forgiving towards his past actions, to which Orochimaru agreed on. Currently, the two are on rocky terms, but Jiraiya is trying to make some effort in becoming friends with Orochimaru again, now that he's learned that he does want Mitsuki to be better than he was back in the day.
** Similarly, he and Tsunade, while still on uneasy terms, will often work together to combat a common enemy. Although he hates to admit it, Orochimaru is happy to see that he can work with his former comrades as the Legendary Sannin at times. Jiraiya and Tsunade know this and would often tease Orochimaru about it. Jiraiya and Tsunade do want to see their former sensei, Hiruzen ascended at some point, but Orochimaru has stayed silent. Some have speculated that he's pretty hesitant in talking about it.
* While Orochimaru is known for being a [[TheDreaded vicious]], [[AxCrazy bloodthirsty]] and [[TheSociopath remorseless]] scientist (before his CharacterDevelopment), lots of residents [[NeverLiveItDown mainly know him]] for his rather... [[MemeticMolester creepy interest in teenage boys]], especially Sasuke. [[MemeticMutation Its a common joke]] to label Orochimaru as a pedophile because of this, a fact which the former Sannin views with utter bewilderment.

* Komodo Brothers Moe and Joe are just a couple of the numerous animals modified by [[{{Pantheon/CausesOfMadness}} Doctor Neo Cortex]] and [[{{Pantheon/GeneticEngineering}} Doctor Nitrus Brio]] with their Evolvo-Ray. While their sword throwing and racing skills allow them to distinguish themselves from the rest of the evolved animals, they're more noticeable as the most [[AmbiguouslyEvil morally ambiguous]] out of all the evolved animals. While they still retain their loyalty to N. Brio, the duo are more than happy to attack anyone else that stands in their way, whether it be their fellow evolved animals like [[{{Pantheon/CrashBandicoot}} the Bandicoots]], murderous aliens like [[{{Pantheon/Sports}} N. Oxide]], or even Dr. Cortex himself and his minions.
* Before he and his brother had properly ascended, Komodo Joe, having somehow found his way into the pantheon, opened a [[HonestJohnsDealership wedding ring and rare gem outlet]] just outside the [[{{Pantheon/Commerce}} House of Commerce]]. The store didn't even make it to the end of its first week before [[{{Pantheon/Officers}} Carmelita Fox]], with the assistance of [[{{Pantheon/CrashBandicoot}} Crash and the rest of the Bandicoots]], discovered that the business was being used to launder stolen gem stones, leading to Komodo Joe's arrest and trial before [[{{Pantheon/CourtOfTheGods}} the Court of the Gods]]. Instead of banishing the Komodo Dragon back to his realm, however, the Court had decided to properly ascend Joe and his brother Moe as the gods of [[MaliciousMonitorLizard Malicious Monitor Lizards]] with no explanation whatsoever. Nobody knows for certain why the Court came to such a decision, but eyewitnesses claim that N. Brio was seen leaving the Courthouse on the same day that Komodo Joe's trial was being held...
** Speaking of the Bandicoots, Komodo Joe managed to lock each of the Bandicoots out of their respective temple as revenge for getting him arrested, claiming that he'll only give back the keys to their temples if Crash beats him on a racetrack Joe and his brother designed. While the race was long and brutal, which was only exacerbated by the fact that Crash had no breaks in his vehicle and Joe wouldn't stop hurling nitro crates at him, it eventually ended with Crash once again being victorious, sending Komodo Joe into another [[SoreLoser crying fit]].
** N. Brio himself was more than pleased to know that a couple more of his minions had ascended to the pantheon, especially since it meant that he finally has some competent henchmen around after he was stuck with the explosively insane [[{{Pantheon/BodyParts}} Ripper Roo]] for who knows how long. The reunion between Brio and the Komodo Brothers was short-lived, however, as when Brio arrived at the Brothers' temple to greet the duo, Ripper Roo, during one of his more AxCrazy moments, destroyed the temple with a metric ton of TNT, much to Brio's dismay.
** Since his ascension, Komodo Joe has been enemies with Carmelita for blowing the lid on his gem laundering scheme and getting him into trouble in the first place. Carmelita doesn't really care about Joe's hatred for her, but that hasn't stopped her from monitoring him since his trial given that his brother Moe had opened a jewelry auction house outside the House of Commerce on literally the same day that they both ascended.
* To the surprise of nobody, Dr. Cortex hates the two brothers for trying to stop Crash from delivering him the Power Crystals to Cortex during the second game. This hatred has carried over to Cortex's minions, [[{{Pantheon/Firearms}} Pinstripe Potoroo]] and [[{{Pantheon/FightingMindsets}} Tiny Tiger]], with the latter even threatening to "squash puny Komodos" should they ever try to interfere with Dr. Cortex's work again. The fact that [[{{Pantheon/Headwear}} Uka Uka]] sometimes protects the pair while they race and even summoned them as a pair of bosses to fight Cortex in [[{{VideoGame/CrashBash}} Crash Bash]] has not helped matters.
* In spite of their AmbiguouslyEvil tendencies, the Komodo Brothers despise [[{{Pantheon/Sports}} N. Oxide]] with a passion since he tried to turn their world into a concrete parking lot and enslave its populace, with Komodo Joe being notable for racing against any potential challengers out of fear that they won't have what it takes to beat Oxide. After learning about Oxide's place in the pantheon, the Komodos are once again ready to challenge anyone they deem unfit to race Oxide. On his end, Oxide has pretty much dismissed the Komodos, stating that he doesn't have time for anyone who's "slower than a [[PerfectlyCromulentWord Bermugulan Slagvork]]."
* When they're not antagonizing the bandicoots, racing, or laundering gems, the two brothers can sometimes be seen engaging in treasure hunting every now and then. Surprisingly, the two brothers are much more amicable while treasure hunting, and have even occasionally teamed up with Crash Bandicoot in a few of their hunts, to the point that both brothers admitted that Crash was a good treasure hunter. Equally surprising is that they somehow managed to bond with [[Pantheon/LuckAndFortune Nathan Drake]] over their interest in treasure hunting, and it is not uncommon to see both parties teaming up together during hunts.
* While searching for rare gemstones to launder, the duo has made it a point to avoid the likes of [[Pantheon/AlignmentChanges Rin Tohsaka]] and [[{{Pantheon/BeastHandlers}} Hazel Levesque]]. While the two brothers aren't shy from stealing any gemstones they could find, they've mostly avoided Rin and Hazel's gemstones since the former was capable of making hers explode and the last time that the pair stole the latter's gems, both of them lost their heads in a tragic yet hilarious sword-juggling accident.
** The two aren't fond of [[Pantheon/CommercialAttitude Wario]] since he often tries to ransack their gem shop to search for anything that might satiate his greed. They're even less fond of the various "[[{{Fartillery}} Wario Wafts]]" that the scoundrel usually leaves behind after he's done vandalizing their store.
** Neither brother wants to talk about [[NoodleIncident that time where they somehow had all of the]] [[Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog Chaos Emeralds]] [[NoodleIncident for sale at their shop]]. Given that said sale ended with a battle over the ownership of the Emeralds between [[{{Pantheon/Gaming}} Sonic The Hedgehog]], [[Pantheon/BossfightsAToM Dr. Robotnik]], and [[Pantheon/RobotsAndAutomata Metal Sonic]] that completely destroyed their shop and the majority of the House of Commerce, it's quite understandable why the Emeralds would be a sore subject for them.

* Opposed By: '''House of Pantheon/ChildhoodAndAdolescence'''
* Additional Relationships: [[Pantheon/{{Flesh Eaters}} Pennywise]], [[Pantheon/MetalAndMinerals Sir Crocodile]]
* There once was a crocodile who lived in the swamps of Africa, and he was known for being much larger than the rest of his kind, in addition to being a huge jerk, often boasting about himself for being scarier than the other animals and even attacking herbivores just for petty amusement. Wanting to test his arrogance and ferocity, the enormous crocodile decided to leave the forest in an attempt to kill and eat children, despite the warnings from every other animal that he would most certainly be killed for his actions. However, all the other animals, especially Humpy-Rumpy the Hippopotamus, Trunky the Elephant, Muggle-Wump the Monkey, and the Roly-Poly Bird took notice and decided to also step out to finally stop and punish the crocodile. The crocodile himself would encounter a quartet of children and would try to disguise himself in several ways, including a palm tree, a see-saw, a picnic table, and a roundabout seat, to catch them off-guard before devouring the kids, only for those to fall flat as the animals that hated him exposed his incredibly transparent disguises and foiled his plans. The last attempt would end with his death, as Trunky declares that he and the other animals "all had quite enough of (his) clever tricks" before grabbing and swinging the crocodile and thrusting him into the stratosphere where he would zip past planets and stars before hitting the sun and getting "sizzled up like a sausage" in a big explosion.
* This particular crocodile would go on to become one of the most recognizable by many thanks to being a memorable character, which was proven when he suddenly found himself in a swamp. He was initially content until realized he failed in his goal and decided to venture around before realizing that he was in a wholly different world. Still, he was a bit slow in learning about the Pantheon, though that's because he's just stuck to his natural environment most of the time. If anything, the most he knows about the divine realms is that he's now living with fantasy creatures and dinosaurs and neither of them excites him much, though that's because he feels he's being challenged as a hunter and feeling rather underwhelmed. Still, his desire to hunt children hasn't been lost and there are a bunch of other new prey he could think of in a brand new world. The crocodile is sure to love tasting them.
* For extremely obvious reasons, the crocodile is forced to not even be 'near'' the House of Pantheon/ChildhoodAndAdolescence and it's pretty to see why; his death hasn't humbled him in any way, and even worse, he's become even more committed to try to eat a child. Coincidentally, a lot of people who either adore or at least are protective of kids are against the crocodile for his repeated efforts, and on his part, he's annoyed that while finding children has been easier, getting to eat them has become harder for him. And to further the crocodile's misfortune, several of these kids are more than capable of fighting back, something the crocodile severely underestimated when he tried to attack [[Pantheon/ChildArchetypes Ness]] for being a KidHero, only for him to get zapped and blown away by a PK Thunder. Even getting beaten by a kid hasn't deterred the crocodile, much to the frustration of many who just want him to give up and do something else, but the crocodile's persistence and his pride isn't going to let up anytime soon.
* He is one of the most hated animals in the Pantheon, up there with the likes of Dag, which is really saying something. The reason doesn't have anything to do with him being a ferocious predator, but the fact that on top of being scary, he's a massive jerk who can't shut up about how scary he is and how he wants to kill children and eat them up. Hearing those words is horrifying at first, but then it turned into annoyance the more the crocodile boasted about his intentions. As it turns out, even other predators, including crocodiles themselves, couldn't stand him and many other animals took it upon themselves to stop him, with Trunky eventually killing after one too many "clever tricks". At one point, the crocodile had the gall to claim that other predators kill children and they don't get screamed at for it, but as other predators summed it up, "we have to catch and eat because we must, you only want to do it because you just want to, and the fact that you declare it out loud is what makes you fail at it". Regardless, the crocodile will continue to do what he wants to do but did find out that he would need friends if he needs to fit in properly.
* Speaking of Dag, the two actually got to meet with one another and both of them realized how because they were hated by nearly every animal in the Pantheon and take pride in wanting to kill and eat others, they found some commonality and decided on seeing each other as buddies. However, where the crocodile is more comical at times due to his ineptitude at showing intimidation, Dag is more successful and thus is taken a lot more seriously. The two like to gloat about their pettiness and bullying attitude, but Dag recommends the crocodile keep it hidden until he actually makes a kill and not to tell others about his plan, save for any "friends" he has in case he wants to be successful. He's also found "likable" figures in beasts like the Grand Duke of Owls and One Eye, whom the croc felt inspired by due to their vileness and is eager to learn from them. He is, however, a bit annoyed that he's not hated further, but at least he has someone he could call a "friend".
* Of course, the crocodile isn't the only one who has a dietary craving for kids, and a selfishly evil one at that, he's more irritated at the fact that people find him more of a nuisance than someone who is really terrifying. He decided to learn more about the ascended {{Child Eater}}s of the Pantheon and this is where he stumbled across Pennywise the Clown, the being who represented that reputation in the divine realms. Unlike most, Pennywise found the crocodile to be an amusing figure and hoped he had succeeded in the story, being disappointed that the crocodile got killed in the end without getting to eat a single child. Still, "The Enormous Crocodile" was an interesting concept Pennywise would consider and decided that he would morph himself into one at some point to succeed where the croc didn't. The crocodile is personally conflicted about what to think; at one point, he's inspired Pennywise to an extent and that's a plus for his ego, but then there's the fact that Pennywise is a more successful and scarier threat and the crocodile realized that may further overshadow him. Beyond that, the two don't meet much, though Pennywise expects the crocodile to learn more and get better, oblivious to the fact that not adapting from his past mistakes got Pennywise killed before, though the crocodile himself doesn't know of that.
* Among his intended victims, the crocodile once tried to attack the Gang of Seven, hoping to succeed where the [[Pantheon/FearsomeArchetypes Sharptooth]] failed as well as see how baby dinosaurs tasted like. Unfortunately for him, the gang has actually dealt with crocodylomorphs before, and even ''larger'' ones at that, and were able to fend off and inconvenience the crocodile with their own clever tricks, something that aggravated him further. Not to mention he was once lured to the Great Valley once and was forced to face the wrath of several giant dinosaurs who didn't take kindly to this one creature who was trying to attack kids for fun. Similarly, he's tried to do the same thing to a ''Pteranodon'' Family (with an adopted ''Tyrannosaurus'') and the Lost Boys and was met with similar failures due to either the interruption of another giant dinosaur for the former or by Peter Pan for the latter who compared him to Tick-Tock, but even less fun. However, none frustrate the crocodile more than Baby Bink, an infant who somehow enjoys being on thrilling adventures and has an insane amount of luck and zeal wherever he goes, which also results in a lot of wacky stories and mischief happening around him, be it directly or indirectly. The crocodile thought the infant would be an easy meal, but no matter what, the crocodile would never be able to get his jaws on Bink and that's before he realized the child had a number of babysitters who ''tried'' to look after him. It didn't stop the crocodile from trying to eat Bink, and the fact that he's so annoyed over not being able to chomp down on a baby and said baby somehow enjoying an experience that's supposed to be horrifying makes the crocodile all the more determined.
* Once, the crocodile managed to swim his way to the Pride Lands and attack a group of wildebeests, only to be stopped by a passing lion who realized that the crocodile wasn't really playing by the laws of nature by constantly attacking as many bulls and had to fight him off. Eventually, the lion was joined by another, larger one, which caused the crocodile to slink away. He could fight Simba, almost to a stalemate, but Mufasa seems to be a bit much for him to handle, and the crocodile grumbled at being overwhelmed. Then he met another lion, this one with orange skin and a black mane who snarked and chided on how a creature more than capable of killing a lion scurried away, to which the crocodile claimed that fighting two of them was too risky and he's not dying again and he just wants to have some degree of infamy. This amused Scar, who found the croc to be simple, but then a thought came and he realized he could serve a purpose as [[TheBrute his big muscle]]. Quickly, Scar stated that he'll guide and teach the crocodile about various sorts of hunting spots to go and attack other animals and he'll reward him with good prizes, which the giant reptile accepted. However, both have their own agendas; the crocodile may be open to hunting other animals, but he prefers children and will disregard Scar's orders if he can attack any child he sees while Scar simply wants the crocodile to attack as many animals as possible in the Pride Lands and incite fear as a means to spite Simba and Mufasa. This, of course, led to a difficult working relationship between the two, but they'll stick around so long as Scar continues to see the crocodile as an effective means to ''his'' end.
** The crocodile also once tried to attack Mowgli in another jungle, only to realize that this child was far more agile and annoying than he anticipated and the fact that he was defended by a pair of carnivores, namely Baloo and Bagheera, didn't help matters. Unlike Simba and Mufasa, the crocodile could fight the black panther and black bear to a stalemate thanks to his giant size but was still driven out after more animals came in to oppose the crocodile. And much like his encounter with Scar, the crocodile would come into contact with another villainous cat, in this case, a tiger named Shere Khan, which quickly saw that both had an interest in hunting children, though where the crocodile is mostly indifferent and wants to eat whatever child he could catch his eyes on, Shere Khan has a specific hatred towards a particular child, namely Mowgli and wants to hunt the young boy down to assert fear and superiority in the jungles. As usual, the crocodile and Shere Khan both came to an alliance and, unlike Scar who has trouble motivating the reptile due to differing priorities, the tiger managed to get along well and even teach him that its better to boast ''after'' killing someone as it does hammer down the fear factor.
* In his attempts to prove himself a fearsome predator, he ended up being rivals with a pack of superpowered piranhas from Operation Razortooth and Lake Victoria and a shark that's informally known as "Bruce", and this rivalry is entirely one-sided on the crocodile's part as he saw that they killed a bunch of people and got famous for it while the croc himself got famous... for being ridiculed and killed spectacularly, and he wants to subvert that reputation as quickly as he could. There's also Ramon the SewerGator and the fact that an alligator becoming huge after being thrown into a toilet drain by a girl and then living in a sewer network was a weird story for the crocodile. Both are dangerous animals, but given Ramon's size and actually killing people, most see him as a superior predator, and the crocodile takes that as a challenge, intending to one day eclipse Ramon as the scarier reptile, that is if he doesn't get killed by the gator first. He also has a rivalry with Feraligatr, but he finds it bizarre how he has a partnership with Steve Irwin and is even more flabbergasted that it's with a "crocodile hunter" of all things. To provoke his new rival, the crocodile decided to attack Steve while he was out sightseeing other crocodiles, which led to a fight against Feraligatr, ending with the Pokémon defeating and humiliating the crocodile and Steve becoming aware and keeping a distance from him, thinking that he might be too dangerous for him to handle on his own, given the reptile's inferred cunning and malevolence.
* Despite his determination for human flesh, the crocodile has seen himself as the victim, and he's not happy with that. For one, he's often hunted by Saxton Hale who has a reputation for hunting deadly creatures like crocodiles and this annoys him as he doesn't like getting overshadowed by a human, of all things, and would like to invert the situation by demonstrating what he is capable of. On a wackier note, the crocodile was once lured in by a man named Woddy, intending the reptile to be a prank to disturb and scare a man named Rottweiler. This was done via the crocodile being promised to be given a large, juicy meal by another crocodile who got tired of the larger one's boasts and decided to tell Woody, hoping that he could pay some sort of retribution. The prank itself was a fairly simple one in the crocodile being gifted to Rottweiler as a gift, only for the croc to bite the big man's bum. It got pretty chaotic and Rottweiler would eventually free himself, but the crocodile wasn't done and instead decided to try his luck on Woody, claiming that he would rather eat both men so he could have all the spotlight. Fortunately, the reptile would be sent blasting off via a packet of dynamite, and he's since vowed to get revenge on Woody as well as get another taste at Rottweiler while he's at it.

* Feared by: [[Pantheon/WeaponizedAppendages Captain Hook]]
* Source of Interest for: [[Pantheon/NamingTheme King K. Rool]]
* Ramon was originally a baby alligator purchased by a girl at a tourist spot and ended up flushed down the toilet by her father. The gator survived life in the sewers by eating up dead animals, which were injected with a growth hormone as part of a failed project to increase meat production. This caused Ramon to not only grow in size, but develop an insatiable appetite that includes devouring unsuspecting humans that stumble upon it in the sewers. Ramon eventually broke out from the underground and started eating people on the surface before being killed via explosives back in the sewers.
* Various police officers were investigating claims of a giant gator roaming in the sewers, with some of the officers sent out getting attacked by it. Things eventually got chaotic when the gator escaped from the sewers and started devouring some of the more helpless Pantheon denizens before heading elsewhere, prompting a pursuit by those who were capable of it. Many of the incredibly powerful deities that could make very short work of the gator were in a different location far from where the rampage was happening. One of the places that the gator attacked was a party being held by Pinkie Pie, resulting in some deities getting mauled and a ruined party. The gator, identified as Ramon, ended up being sturdy and was led back to the sewers, where it was subdued. Many others have opted to better prepare themselves should Ramon hit the surface again.
** Leon Kennedy & Claire Redfield were among those who originally investigated the sewers following those reports, suspecting that the gator in question may have been infected by the T-Virus. While it wasn't the case, Ramon was able to shrug off their gunfire, prompting the two to retreat. It's apparent that they really don't want a repeat of what happened in the sewers of Racoon City when it comes to the possibility of this gator getting infected with the T-Virus.
* Steve Irwin, being experienced in looking after crocodiles, was curious about Ramon after the latter's initial attack and how this particular gator came to be. Steve decided to look over Ramon in the hopes of calming it down should another attack occur. On its part, Ramon doesn't care about Steve at all and merely sees him as yet another potential snack.
* Captain Hook didn't take it well that there was another gator running around in the Pantheon. Unlike the gator that ate Hook's arm, Ramon doesn't care about whoever gets in his way as long as he's able to eat whoever is in his path. Hook is also unnerved with the fact that Ramon is much more ravenous than the gator he's dealt with in the past and skips the "harassing the victims" part to go straight to eating them.
* Having been used to fighting alligators in his adventures, Joe Baker didn't see Ramon as anything new when it comes to threatening gators. Given how often Ramon runs around causing damage and panic amongst others, Joe is more than willing to beat up Ramon with what he has at his disposal. After fighting it a few times, Joe later saw Ramon as little more than fighting practice against other threats he would come across.
* As a predator with a strong appetite, there were some who saw Ramon as a bit similar to the Deviljho in that regard. The big difference between them is their size and that Deviljho wouldn't have a lot of problems in trying to devour Ramon if they somehow meet each other. This did lead to a handful of concerns on what could happen if the gator had the same level of voracity and viciousness as that of Deviljho.
* King K. Rool, upon learning of another vicious gator, took a bit of interest in Ramon after getting over [[FurryConfusion the initial confusion of how different they look]]. Despite this, there hasn't been a whole lot in the way of trying to keep Ramon under control under someone. It hasn't stopped K. Rool from seeing Ramon as a potential brutish recruit for the Kremling army.
** Most of the friendly gators by contrast, don't share the same opinion of Ramon that K. Rool does and are at best wary of it. Feraligatr tends to get into fights against Ramon whenever the latter is out of the sewers, with the Pokémon not having a lot of trouble in defeating Ramon and driving it out of the surface. Feraligatr also has an easier time fighting Ramon in the water as well.
* Some comparisons have been made between Ramon's rampage and that of Bruce the Shark's. While Bruce always attacked in the water, Ramon's attacks have mainly occurred on land, though Ramon sometimes terrorizes others in the water. There have been some instances of the two trying to bite each other if they manage to cross each other's aquatic paths. The water is more likely than not going to turn red if anyone is unlucky to get caught in the middle of the two.
* It isn't well-liked amongst some deities who have to use the sewers for something necessary, seeing Ramon to be a bit of a nuisance to them. The Ninja Turtles sometimes hide in the sewers whenever they aren't engaged in a serious fight on the surface and see Ramon as a bit of a problem if it somehow manages to cross their paths. It doesn't help that the Turtles sometimes see Ramon on the surface as well.
* Besides some viruses such as the aforementioned T-Virus that are in Pantheon/TheGreatTreasury, there are a few substances that are produced in the House of Pantheon/{{Science}} that could affect Ramon more than before. Ramon's size and appetite are a bit of an issue as they are and some of what's prepared at that place, such as [[Pantheon/GeneticEngineering N. Brio's]] serums are likely to make the problem worse if the gator manages to consume it.

* On the isle of Neverland, there is a never-ending hunt. The Lost Boys wander the island in search of their leader, the flying boy Peter Pan, followed by Captain Hook and his pirate crew, Tiger Lily and her warriors and finally, the most feared beast of all, a giant crocodile. But there is much more to this reptile than meets the eye. Long ago, the crocodile was swimming along when it noticed a human hand falling into the water. A hand that was [[AnArmAndALeg severed]] from Hook's arm by Pan. The croc devoured the appendage in a single bite, but something came over it. It loved the taste of Hook's flesh, so much so that it started to [[SuperPersistentPredator follow the captain around]], licking its lips for the rest of him. Needless to say, it's the [[TheDreaded only thing Hook fears.]] Luckily for him, it's easy to know when the croc is around. Along with eating the hand, it also ate an old alarm clock, the ticking resonating from deep within the beast's stomach, giving it the nickname "Tick Tock". Should one ever hear a tick-tock coming from the water, take warning for the crocodile is near... and it's hungry. Tick Tock continued to prowl Neverland's waters in a never-ending pursuit for Hook, constantly tormenting him at the most inopportune moments. It all came to a climax though when three young children came to the island, helping Peter Pan in defeating the pirate captain once and for all. it is hotly debated on what happened, but what is known is this. Tick Tock continued to [[https://youtu.be/JFyVD0f1NEs?t=111 pursue the "Codfish"]], chasing him beyond the horizon and straight into a glowing light.
** Once past the light, Tick Tock discovered two things. One, Hook was nowhere to be seen, and two, it was no longer in Neverland. It found itself in strange waters; waters filled with unusual creatures and beings unlike anything in its homeland. Among them was another crocodile, one garbed in strange human attire and wielding a massive axe. He revealed himself to be Sobek, An Egyptian god associated with fertility and military prowess. He had taken an interest in the lost reptile and as the Lord of Crocodiles, he offered Tick Tock a place in this "Pantheon" as he called it. The Croc accepted and became a Follower to Sobek, patrolling the rivers and estuaries throughout the realm of Gods. But that all changed one day when Tick Tock made a discovery. Its old target, Captain James Hook, was in the Pantheon all along, now as a God. Tick Tock's clock began to tick once more, and it decided to do what nature intended it to do; swim up to the ship and announce its presence to the pirate captain. [[OhCrap Hook quickly took notice]] and his terror for the giant reptile resurfaced once more. Sobek had watched it all from afar and decided to make a change. He would make Tick Tock a God as well, not only to terrorize Hook but also to remind those sailing the Pantheon's waterways must tread carefully. For it is the crocodile's domain; cross them and their time alive will be cut short.
* Tick Tock's temple was unique. It was connected via a gateway to Captain Hook's own temple, leading all the back to Never Land. It allowed the crocodile easy access back to its homeworld and to menace the pirates as well. While perfectly capable of swimming upstream into the island's rivers, Tick Tock is most at home out at sea, pursuing the pirates in their territory. It does make sense once one gets to know Tick Tock. After all, it is a ''saltwater'' crocodile [[note]]''[[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saltwater_crocodile Crocodylus porosus]]''[[/note]].
* The relationship Tick Tock has with Peter Pan and his friends is one of respect. For the most part, it keeps to itself, not interested in the flying boy's antics. However, it sees Pan and his Lost Boys as living dinner bells, following them wherever they go in case Hook is nearby. Pan meanwhile sees the croc's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_EVZRPj3LY attempts to eat Hook]] as boatloads of fun and takes advantage of the reptile's arrival onto the scene. The ''only'' being from Never Land that Tick Tock remotely gets along with is [[WesternAnimation/DisneyFairies Rosetta]], a garden fairy from Pixie Hollow and one of Tinker Bell's close friends. In one timeline, during an incident where the fairies had their powers swapped around, she became an animal fairy and was [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUsSh4ZaMkc the first thing]] the infant Tick Tock saw when it hatched from its egg. Imprinting on her immediately, the little croc aided Rosetta and her friends against a young Hook and his pirate crew. Though the beast has grown up since then, it still remembers Rosetta, and she sometimes pops by its temple to see how her "Crocky" is doing.
* As with all of Neverland's denizens, Tick Tock has taken on many different appearances throughout the many timelines. Some are more comical, with [[https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/peterpan/images/4/48/Crocc.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20180408155949 grass and flowers]] growing on its body, acting as camouflage. In others, it is truly [[https://youtu.be/ge93qtO5sZg?t=239 massive and brutish]], more akin to a ''[[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deinosuchus Deinosuchus]]'' than to a modern croc. In one [[Series/{{Neverland}} extreme case]], the croc is not only massive but also has [[https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/scifichannel/images/2/2c/Tick-Tock_Crocodile_%28Neverland%29.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20180215233142 multiple limbs]]. Upon learning this, Hook became even more terrified, fearing what form the croc might take while in the Pantheon. Thankfully it hasn't gone too extreme. ''Yet.''
* Tick Tock's relationship with the Pantheon's other crocodilians has been a fascinating one. Usually, it keeps its distance from the others, especially those that are more anthropomorphic in nature. King K. Rool doesn't like Tick Tock all too much, due to the latter once pursuing the Kremling ruler while in his Kaptain K. Rool persona. Tick Tock stays away from the brutal, crocodile-like criminal Waylon Jones; the Killer Croc. Jones doesn't care much for the real animal but he makes sure it keeps out of his waters. Vector the Crocodile, leader of Team Chaotix, has a difficult time agreeing with Tick Tock, mainly because he prefers to apprehend enemies alive rather than eat them. Not to mention opposing Tick Tock when it tried to eat Charmy Bee on one occasion. He keeps his distance as a result. At the same time, Tick Tock found a rival crocodilian in an alligator named Ramon. Though American alligators are generally smaller than saltwater crocodiles, Ramon is a super-sized beast with an appetite for human flesh. He tried to go after Hook on his own agenda but Tick Tock, [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness surprisingly enough,]] attacked the gator in retaliation. As an injured Ramon swam away the message was made clear. Hook was Tick Tock's to eat and eat alone.
** On the flipside, Tick Tock doesn't mind hanging out with the musically gifted King Gator and the blue-scaled Pokémon, Feraligatr. Both will sometimes join Tick Tock while out at sea, teasing and humiliating Hook whenever they get the chance. When that happens, Peter Pan and the Lost Boys will gather to enjoy the show. The two other crocodilians, in turn, introduced Tick Tock to the Crocodile Hunter himself, Steve Irwin. Irwin had grown up wrangling saltwater crocs back in Australia, so he was happy to see one swimming in the Pantheon. He has to make sure though not to get on Tick Tock's bad side, else he might end up as lunch.
* Captain Hook may be Tick Tock's primary target but the Pantheon has shown itself to be a pirate's paradise. Most of the buccaneers and scallywags mock Hook's fear for the reptile but some have found themselves being pursued by the large archosaur. Besides the aforementioned K. Rool, Yosemite Sam is frequently targeted, thanks in no small part to Bugs Bunny tricking the cowboy-turned-pirate into the beast's gaping jaws. Sam usually escapes certain death but he always finds his way back in. One of the only human pirates Tick Tock does not actively hunt is the former Warlord, Sir Crocodile. Despite his many similarities to Hook, the Desert King managed to get the reptile's respect, using his experience owning crocodiles of his own. He also used that newfound respect to send Tick Tock after Hook after the latter tried to kill Monkey D. Luffy before he did.
** Some pirates though Tick Tock stays well and truly far away from. The murderous Euron Greyjoy being among them. The King of the Iron Islands doesn't care much for the croc, with his only major concern being to turn the beast into a pair of leather boots to mockingly give to Captain Hook. While not a pirate, the Pokémon Hunter known as J has also set her sights on turning the large reptile into a gold statue for her own gain. Pan has had to step in to prevent that from happening and as a result, keeps an eye out in case J shows her face around Never Land. Tick Tock may be a beast but it's just as important as the rest of the island's inhabitants.
* Though a formidable predator in its own right, even Tick Tock has to be wary while in the Pantheon. Larger, more dangerous predators prowl the realm's waterways. Out at sea, the oversized Jurassic pliosaur, ''Liopleurodon'' makes things difficult when it comes time to hunt the pirates. As well, there are the Plesioths; monstrous marine wyverns with a knack for hunting and overpowering crocodilians. Tick Tock was unlucky enough to encounter the green variety but was lucky not to have been killed. Over on the freshwater side of things is the large aquatic theropod, ''Spinosaurus''. Besides fish, Spino will eat just about anything, and even the man-eating crocodile knows better than to cross the dinosaur when it's in the water. Funnily enough, Dr. Alan Grant noted how during his [[Film/JurassicPark3 Isla Sorna visit]], the ''Spinosaurus'', being the dinosaurian equivalent to a crocodile, ate a man carrying a satellite phone, which kept on ringing within [[https://youtu.be/cVA4BO2v7zs?t=34 the predator's stomach.]] He sometimes observes Tick Tock going out on his hunts and always keeps a safe distance.
* There has been some debate over the gender classification of Tick Tock. Some refer to the reptile as a male, with even Peter Pan calling it "Mr. Crocodile" on one occasion. Other times, Tick Tock is seen as a female and is referred to as such. No one dares to get close enough to see which is accurate but for the time being, the Gods decided to leave things vague. The croc doesn't seem to mind at all.
* As a former Follower of Sobek, Tick Tock avoids Apophis, the Egyptian Lord of Chaos. It fears the day the great snake will begin to terrorize the Pantheon once more and as such, keeps away from the serpent's temple. It's probably for the best.
* Many in the Pantheon believe the crocodile to be Neverland's personification of time and death, its ticking clock slowly counting down within the beast's stomach. Some ponder how the clock can be heard from within the creature but from what they had gathered from Hook, it only stopped once. When [[SwallowedWhole he was consumed.]] But even a creature of death must meet its end. [[Film/{{Hook}} In]] [[Literature/PeterPanInScarlet several]] [[WesternAnimation/ReturnToNeverLand timelines]] Tick Tock either was driven away by Hook or was killed, with one case, being stuffed and turned into a massive clock tower in the pirate's hometown. But even in death, the croc still [[https://youtu.be/-wX6_qCCnPc?t=58 got the last laugh...]] or gulp, if you will.
* ''"Never smile at a crocodile/No, you can't get friendly with a crocodile/Don't be taken in by his welcome grin/He's imagining how well you'd fit within his skin..."''

* The Koopa King may be mighty, but he still needs plenty of grunts to do his dirty work. One of the most iconic mooks to trouble the Mushroom Kingdom are the Koopa Troopas; [[AdorableEvilMinions small, amiable]] turtles who've troubled Mario and Luigi since their plumber days as the Shellcreepers. Bowser felt it only fair that his oldest, most loyal group of minions would join him in the Trope Pantheon.
* Most turtles and tortoises die if their shell is removed, given that it acts as part of their rib cage. Not the Koopas; their shells are simply armor. Some Koopas remove it to fly around with a Super Cape, and their shells can be used as projectiles. When swallowed by Yoshi, different shells have different effects such as temporary fire breath or flight. There are a few subsets of Koopa who don't take off their shell, but they're in the minority.
* Often seen with Bowser; however, that doesn't mean they're all [[AlwaysChaoticEvil evil]]. There have been many a heroic Koopa who care not for the reptilian overlord, such as [[VideoGame/SuperMario64 Koopa the Quick]], [[VideoGame/PaperMarioTheThousandYearDoor Koops]], [[VideoGame/PaperMario64 Kooper and Kolorado]]. Even those under Bowser's thumb [[PunchClockVillain are pretty sociable off the clock]]. However, it's the rank and file Koopa which is most well known, and they serve as the Mini-Gods in question.
* Their name is derived from "kuppa", the Japanese word for [[EdibleThemeNaming the Korean dish Guk]]. It's unknown how they feel about the meal itself.
** "Kuppa" is also their king's Japanese name, and it's based on the word "Kappa", which refers to a Japanese turtle youkai. This fact they find more interesting, and a bit confusing. Meanwhile, the Koopa Troopas themselves are called "Nokonoko" in Japanese, and the Paratroopas are called "Patapata".
* Generally defeated by being stepped on (though a few types of them [[EliteMook won't fall for that]]). As such, they fear The Scout for his jumping ability. And like all mooks, they fear the utter slaughter Brock Samson might inflict on them.
* They tend to gravitate towards Wreck-It Ralph due to sharing similarities to their own master. It helps that Ralph's a PunchClockVillain. Koopa Troopas can sometimes be found as enemies in "Fix It Felix, Jr" [[spoiler:(when the enemies from Q*Bert aren't available)]].
* Though generally quasideities, [[EliteMook there are some demigod Koopas]]; notably the Magikoopas, [[DemBones Dry Bones]], Super Koopas and Hammer Bros.
