* Beneath the Multiverse and the Pantheon, there rests an oceanic, subconscious realm comprised of "reactive matter" - a Dark Multiverse. Within this realm, worlds live and worlds die, worlds created from the hopes, fears and nightmares of all those who live. One being presided over this nightmarish realm - Barbatos, a dark horned-god whose presence is felt through other evil deities.
* Barbatos' existence was initially unknown to the Pantheon, but his presence was revealed [[ComicBook/DarkNightsMetal after he attempted to drag Earth down into the Dark Multiverse]].
** Dream of the Endless revealed Barbatos' true nature: the Dark Multiverse was originally home to the World Forge, the place where [[TheMaker Alpheus the World Forger]] [[ThePowerOfCreation would hammer out worlds from the hopes and fears of living beings]], creating new worlds from the "metal of possibility". Those worlds that were stable became part of the Orrery of Worlds; the twisted, unstable worlds were once destroyed by Barbatos to have their energies returned to the Forge, as he was the Forger's Great Dragon. However, he killed Alpheus and allowed the World Forge to darken.
* Barbatos was a former DestroyerDeity, but rebelled and chose to be a conqueror instead. Beerus the Destroyer is nothing short of disgusted with the dark god; while he destroys things ([[EvilIsPetty and often for poor reasons]]), he's trying to keep balance. If anything, Barbatos is more like Merged Zamasu, except arguably worse in scope and a destroyer instead of creator. Merged Zamasu hates Barbatos as well, though it's more of a projection of his own wicked nature and hating any comparison. That and the Dark Multiverse is an eternal reminder of his deranged worldview of the evil of mortals and the failures of the gods.
** When Barbatos himself heard this, he just laughed and pointed out his hypocrisy and flaws, wearing down Zamasu until he reached a breaking point when he said, "Face it, Zamasu, for all your talk of justice and order, you're just as much a sinner as the mortals you hate. In other words, in a metaphorical sense, you are a mortal, too." Driven insane by rage and denial, Zamasu tried to attack the dark god, only to have the Time Ring snatched off his finger. Without the Time Ring, the Goku Black component keeping the fusion together was erased, leaving only Future Zamasu. However, the already unstable fusion affected his immortality on a cellular level, causing his body to turn back into Merged Zamasu, but as his half corrupted form. His mind completely gone, Zamasu threatened to turn into his Infinite form, only to have Barbatos drain him to a withered husk barely clinging to life, stopping him from achieving the transformation. Zamasu's hatred for the Great Dragon grew as he recovered in his temple, but Barbatos didn't care.
* [[Pantheon/OtherCreatures The Creation Trio]] harbor a deep loathing towards Barbatos. They are dragon guardians of dimensions, namely time (Dialga), space (Palkia) and antimatter (Giratina). And as Barbatos is a dragon god who once maintained dimensional stability, that later went rogue, he is an abomination that must be vanquished by them. Giratina in particular takes umbrage since while it is a scary looking {{Dracolich}} guarding the creepy-looking Distortion World, it would never shirk its duty and fall to the depravity Barbatos has.
* Although now trapped at the bottom of the Dark Multiverse while the World Forge burns anew again, Barbatos' influence is still felt within the Pantheon, and he schemes to break his chains and enter the Dark Multiverse of the Pantheon to raise the denizens there up against the Pantheon, and to drag the Pantheon itself down into darkness.
* As a byproduct of the conflict with Barbatos, the World Forge became accessible to the Pantheon, and the Tenth Metal of Possibility that resides there is now being considered for use in constructing new structures in the Pantheon. However, the immense power of the Tenth Metal means any materials are kept under Maximum Security, and only allowed for use by a very select few deities [[spoiler:after use by the Justice League inadvertently shattered the Source Wall]].
* Due to Barbatos' association with nightmares and fears, especially his use of them in torturing his enemies, he has many allies among nightmare deities, but also a number of new enemies:
** Freddy Krueger and Pitch Black both sought him out for the purpose of combining forces and spreading fear and terror throughout the Pantheon.
** Darkrai has no love whatsoever for the bat-god who revels in the nightmares and suffering of others, and is part of the forces that fight against those in the Dark Multiverse who would seek to free their master.
** Antasma leapt at the chance to join Barbatos' side, perhaps seeing the bat-god as the source of his ascension into what he is now, as it was a nightmare Antasma fed on that turned him from a regular bat into a creature of nightmares. Perhaps, so he believes, he was intended to be Barbatos' avatar in the Mario world.
*** However, when Antasma directed Barbatos to assail the dreams of Luigi, [[BerserkButton Mario]] wasted no time jumping into his brother's dreams to team up with Dreamy Luigi and Princess Luna to force Barbatos and Antasma out.
* A disturbing theory began circulating around the Pantheon that the Dark Multiverse which Barbatos hails from is just one section of a far vaster domain, one which may be directly responsible for the creation of many of the darker entities in the Pantheon. [[Pantheon/CthulhuMythos H.P. Lovecraft]], [[Pantheon/TheatricProduction James Cameron]] and [[{{Franchise/Alien}} H.R. Giger]] all based their respective creations upon nightmares which they themselves have had, and their nightmares reached out to all those terrified by their works and gave their creations shape, many of which have made their way into the Pantheon proper.
* Disturbingly enough Melkor gets along swimmingly with Barbatos. Like him, he was once loyal to his creator and a guardian of reality. However Melkor's envy, pride and contempt led him to disrupt and marr creation as the god of the Dark Multiverse did, and they share a goal of [[DystopiaJustifiesTheMeans despoiling reality into a miserable state of despair and fear]]. To say their alliance sent a chill down the spine of those in the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfGood is an understatement.
* Most of his army, such as the Dark Knights, consists of [[AllianceOfAlternates alternate selves allying together]]. As such, Funny Valentine is capable of exploiting NeverTheSelvesShallMeet quite easily. This and his utter disgust to the Dark Multiverse [[EvenEvilHasStandards despite his villainy]] makes him a thorn in Barbatos' side.
* The Chaos Gods were heard laughing with glee when the Dark Multiverse, a dimension shaped by fears and nightmares much like the ones which feed into the Warp, ascended into the Pantheon, for the two formed a feedback loop - the more fears and nightmares there were, the more Dark Universes are born, and the more negative emotions are fed into the Warp and Chaos Gods to create new terrors and horrors, and the cycle repeats...
* While it cannot be confirmed, some suspect that Barbatos' Dark Multiverse may, in fact, be the realm where terrible fiction and fan-fiction alike 'exist', the horror of their existence or perversion of real universes causing them to manifest there in a cycle of horrific creation and destruction. As such, he rules over every failed story and every failed character within those stories and all of them desire to usurp the original characters and the true stories.
** One of the greater dangers of the Dark Multiverse is that it is also a place which villains could have their own desires fulfilled, as many villains sided with Barbatos for the promise of having their own worlds to rule.
* ''"All roads lead back to darkness."''
* He was originally the master of the Batman Who Laughs, but the evil combination of the Batman and Joker has cast away his allegiance to the Dark God and become a terrifying and monstrous villain in his own right. Barbatos attempted to persuade He Who Laughs to rejoin him and conquer the Pantheon together, but the corrupted Bruce Wayne ended up refusing the offer, stating that ever since Barbatos and the other Dark Knights died, he went solo and he's ended up enjoying being on his own and having full control without a superior instead, leaving Barbatos disappointed. Though the Dark God would soon learn about how He Who Laughs would go on to seize godly power of his own and kill Perpetua, which made him realize that trying to recruit He Who Laughs would be too risky a suggestion at this point. While he still enjoys watching the havoc and mayhem that the Batman Who Laughs can unleash, he also plans to make him pay for his insolence.

* Respects: Groups like [[Pantheon/CulturalValues Broforce]], [[Pantheon/NationalityArchetypes Charlie Company, Team America]], deities like [[Pantheon/RacialAppearances Iowa]]
* In the world of the ''[[Manga/JojosBizarreAdventureSteelBallRun Steel Ball Run]]'' timeline, Funny Valentine is the 23rd president of the United States...[[AlternateHistory of Valentine]]. In many ways he's a true patriot, seeking to make America the shining pillar its founders envisioned. However the way he goes about it [[WellIntentionedExtremist is questionable]], [[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist at best]]. He wishes to use the Holy Corpse to make the U.S free of misfortune at the cost of it being deflected to the rest of the world, and believes any underhanded act, even AttemptedRape and using innocents as meat shields, is justified if it achieves this goal. [[VillainWithGoodPublicity When he died, he had a 91% approval rating]].
* His Stand Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (or [=D4C=] for short) has the ability to allow different parallel worlds/dimensions to co-exist at the same time and/or in the same place, and visit these parallel worlds/dimensions. Valentine can also pull other people to other dimensions by forcing them between two objects. If more than one iteration of a person or object exist in the same universe(save Valentine himself) as no two versions of the same person can co-exist in the same dimension, one of them will have to go back into their own. If not, and if they get too close to one another, both will crumble, splitting into Menger sponges before obliteration.
* Because of his Stand, he is considered easy to kill but harder to keep dead, since [=D4C=] can transport Valentine's consciousness to an alternate universe body if he suffers a mortal wound, then bring the fresh body back. It also has the nifty side effect of allowing him to simply just transport a private army of himselves to attack en mass. Despite the pantheon working with different rules, usage of his Stand allows him to inflict the NeverTheSelvesShallMeet to deities in the pantheon. DeathIsCheap, but it still hurts like hell, and he wouldn't be that much of a fit for the trope if he couldn't demonstrate it in the pantheon. This potentially makes him [[FusionDance Fused Zamasu's]] kryptonite, but given he's physically half-Goku and [[spoiler:[[OneWingedAngel what he became after losing his body]] ]] Funny Valentine will only go after him to a last resort. The two have commented they're similar in the respect of seeing what they're doing as virtuous, but Zamasu still thinks he's a hopelessly flawed mortal [[EvenEvilHasStandards and Valentine thinks Zamasu is insane]].
* For the most part Funny Valentine refuses to use [=D4C=] on [[MyFutureSelfAndMe temporally displaced versions]] like [[Pantheon/TimeAndTemporality different incarnations of the Doctor]]. [[TemporalParadox The results could be a lot less devastating]]. And he's leaving well enough alone when dealing with more complicated scenarios like [[Pantheon/ParadoxesAndTimeLoops Philip J Fry and his paradox time duplicate Lars Fillmore]]. Despite these self-imposed limitations he remains an intimidating force within the Pantheon/DimensionalAreas, Pantheon/ClonesAndCounterparts halls. Lord Drakkon personally detests Funny Valentine due to his power, [[OtherMeAnnoysMe plus he can't even imagine]] how the other Funny Valentines are cool with being used as 1-Ups for their prime counterpart. [[Pantheon/TimeTravelling Project Splinter's]] experience with paradoxes and [[NeverTheSelvesShallMeet a similar danger to Valentine's Stand when interacting with their counterparts]] they prefer to stay far away from him. The 23rd president isn't interested in starting a fight and he respects them for saving the world from a deadly virus.
* By taking advantage of the Saint Corpse's Stand manifesting in Lucy, he upgraded his to [=D4C=]: Love Train. It lets him redirect attacks away from him and cause misfortune elsewhere. It's this trick which led him and Wobbuffet to form a partnership because of having a similar power and also having [[YouWillNotEvadeMe the Shadow Tag ability]]. He offered Wobbuffet some snacks to earn his approval, and often take the Pokémon out for local trots and other enriching activities. One of these trots had Funny Valentine think about the Scarlet Witch's [[WindsOfDestinyChange powers]] and how they could benefit him. Unsurprisingly, she wants nothing to do with it.
* He's also tried to reason with the Phantom Thieves to use their power to change America for the better, only for them to tell him [[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist he's full of it]], [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil especially since he's one to ignore physical consent]]. They've sworn to raid his Palace [[HeelFaceBrainwashing and force him to realize what he's doing is wrong]], and they've actively compared him to Masayoshi Shido. [[EvenEvilHasStandards That said, Valentine agrees with them that Shido's an utter bastard]]. He also regards the 50 Blessings as insane since while they wanted to improve the U.S and shrug off Soviet influence, [[spoiler:this plan involved nuclear war which bathed places like Hawaii and Miami in nuclear hellfire]].
* Because of Funny Valentine's power [[Pantheon/{{Otherness}} the SCP Foundation]] coaxed him into trying to help them terminate SCP-682, and [[EvilVersusOblivion 682 finds American life as disgusting as any other Valentine was immediately on the case]]. The result? 682 was forced to merge with an AU 682 and became a menger sponge...but the sponge refused to be destroyed and started assaulting Valentine. When Love Train was used [[ItCanThink the lizard stopped and went back into containment to not waste any more energy]]. Unfortunately for everyone when 682 emerged from the sponge the next day it had doubled in power, having fused with its counterpart. The GOC observed this test, noting the only good thing this accomplished was eliminating another universe's 682. Even before this incident they consider Valentine a dangerous anomaly due to his Stand and jingoistic attitude.
* Funny Valentine was only defeated thanks to the power of the Golden Spin transcending dimensions, making his swap with his counterparts pointless. Johnny and Gyro were absolutely ''livid'' to learn that he crawled his way out of the grave. Stephen and Lucy Steel were irate to hear this news (especially the latter [[AttemptedRape since he tried to rape her]]), as was Diego, since he died believing he'd actually defeated him. Valentine can often be seen with a man with a similar appearance to that of Diego; In reality, it's his AlternateUniverse counterpart, Diego, [[spoiler:though he can still utilize The World]]. Some have interviewed him on how he feels about other ''Jojo'' character from the original continuity, which he's dubbed "The [[Manga/JojosBizarreAdventurePhantomBlood PB Universe]]".
** [[VideoGame/JoJosBizarreAdventureEyesOfHeaven He's had an encounter with Dio]], or rather a Dio that won and ascended to a new godly form. [[EvenEvilHasStandards He refused to join with him]] and despite the bad blood he and Diego has he's shocked that his counterpart could be [[CompleteMonster as evil as Dio]]. [[CardCarryingVillain Dio laughed at this]], and proceeded to mock him for his [[UtopiaJustifiesTheMeans alleged utopia]] as he puts the United States' welfare above the rest of the planet. [[AtLeastIAdmitIt And he, Dio, is at least honest that he's evil]]. Johnny's counterpart Jonathan has decried what Funny is doing as evil, but Valentine actually has respect for his virtuous personality.
** Funny Valentine is on much better terms with Dio's best friend Pucci, as they have a lot in common; they both want to alter the world as we know it [[WellIntentionedExtremist for the better]]. [[ContrastingSequelAntagonist However there are clear differences]]: Pucci's goals are less selfish but more jaded. Though they bicker on how to achieve a better world and Pucci is solidly Dio's ally, they do enjoy talking with each other and discussion philosophy. It should also be noted that despite what some think Pucci's Made in Heaven didn't reset reality into the SBR universe.
** Valentine isn't fond of the other [[ArcVillain main Jojo villains]]; [[Pantheon/{{Reclusiveness}} Diavolo]] is a [[ItsAllAboutMe self-absorbed]] [[TheParanoiac paranoid]] gangster, [[Pantheon/NamingReferences Kars]] is an aloof {{Ubermensch}} and [[Pantheon/{{Explosives}} Yoshikage Kira]] is a SerialKiller trying to sate [[ALoveToDismember his hand fetish]]. None of them care about him either, and it's probably for the best they keep it that way.
* Has found a rivalry with Armstrong; While they both want the best for America, Armstrong believes that it can relish from destruction, while Valentine believes in a more unified state. [[WorthyOpponent Despite their differences, they have a mutual respect for one another]]. Former president Lex Luthor also considers him a political rival, but doesn't hate him like Superman [[VillainRespect as he regards his Stand for showing the power humans have]]. Funny Valentine is well aware that he's more motivated by his ego and his claims of wanting to do the right thing are more a rationalization, but he can't deny the man's a genius. Funnily enough Funny Valentine gets along a lot more with the Regime version of his ArchEnemy given their goals, even if they bicker on how to obtain it.
* Captain America has publicly declared Valentine one of his biggest enemies from the U.S, though not enough to avoid an EnemyMine when it comes to legitimate enemies to the country like the Red Skull; an America uplifted at the expense of the world is a bastardization of the country he loves. The main Superman wholeheartedly agrees with this, citing Valentine as little better than Lex Luthor. Since both superheroes have to deal with a number of parallel selves [=D4C=] is more than just a nuisance for them, however the 23rd president would prefer to reason with them to join his cause. He's perfectly fine in using his Stand against parallel abominations like the Batman Who Laughs and his former master Barbatos. The prospect has the former laugh, and the latter pointed to countless new worlds in the Dark Multiverse where [[TheBadGuyWins his victory]] [[BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor led to a horrible cost]]. Most were Johnny's nightmares, but a few were ''his''. Valentine simply refused to listen to them and left.
* In mainline reality the 23rd president was [[Pantheon/MannersOfAuthority William Henry Harrison's]] grandson [[UsefulNotes/BenjaminHarrison Benjamin]], who served from 1889 to 1893. [[AlienSpaceBats Besides Stands and Spin]], it's unknown where the PointOfDivergence for the SBR 'verse is. Funny Valentine did experience the Civil War so presumably Lincoln and maybe even Ulysses S Grant had their presidencies unchanged. The senior Harrison can't deny [[VillainWithGoodPublicity he's more charismatic than his grandson]] and admits he's had his questionable moments [[ValuesDissonance given his wars against the Native Americans]], [[EveryoneHasStandards but Valentine is too jingoistic for his tastes]]. Some of Valentine's inner circle have joked the ''real'' reason W.H.H is mad at Funny Valentine is because he keeps showing up in search engines for the "23rd president" over his grandson.
* The ascended presidents take umbridge with what he's doing since they're in agreement his plan is terrible even if his desires are noble. [[Pantheon/MentalismOther Kennedy]] [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking also thinks the United States Of Valentine is a dumb rename]]. [[VillainRespect Valentine actually likes a lot of the ascended presidents to a degree]], especially Lincoln as he kept the country together and Theodore Roosevelt because he respects his force of personality and ambition in letting everyone to have a square deal. T.R admits [[AffablyEvil Valentine's surprisingly principled]], but what his plan entails for the rest of the world is ''definitely'' not a square deal. Still, the only ascended president Funny Valentine outright '''despises''' is Frank Underwood. Underwood completely lacks principles, [[DespotismJustifiesTheMeans sees the presidency as a means for personal enrichment]] [[TheSociopath and lacks any empathy for the country or anyone else]]. All of this is true [[CompleteMonster and then some]], but [[VillainHasAPoint many agreed with Frank in his assessment]] that what Funny Valentine is doing is severely misguided. When Valentine was later approached by an interviewer about how he felt about [[Pantheon/FacialAttributes Richard Nixon's head]], he was a lot more flippant by saying "I don't take him seriously; he's too busy playing the CartoonishSupervillainy game for me to take his evil seriously".
* For the most part he and the Enclave get along, but for all of Valentine's flaws he is not racist[[note]]though if his interactions with Diego are anything to go by, he's somewhat classist[[/note]] and [[FantasticRacism how the Enclave treats mutants]] has him furrow his brow in shame. However he does believe they are a necessary evil to achieve his goals and wants them to embrace their AntiVillain aspects more. Funny Valentine holds a more legitimate admiration for the likes of Broforce, Charlie Company and Team America. He's also given his thumb up to Iowa. Even if they aren't comfortable with [[UtopiaJustifiesTheMeans the extent of his ambition to improve the U.S]], he respects them for proving the heroic spirit of the U.S.
* Had a run in with Elizabeth and gave her an offer to help her with her powers as it was similar to Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. It resulted in a fight when he noticed Booker and called him "[[spoiler:Comstock]]"; Since then they have avoided each other though Valentine claims that the offer still stands when Elizabeth needs it, though Elizabeth was surprised that any version of Funny Valentine she ever encountered was always the same man no matter what universe he came from, all offering the same thing. Valentine took that as a compliment since [[WellIntentionedExtremist to him]] it's a sign [[InSpiteOfANail his "virtue" is an inherent part of his being across]] TheMultiverse. Raiden considers this a deeply worrying constant as he sees Valentine as idealistically crazy as Armstrong. Solidus Snake commented otherwise as he believes this constant of Funny Valentine will help him uphold American virtue across the multiverse.
* He decided that in order to obtain the Holy Corpse Parts and help bring absolute power to America, he needed to help the Regime under YHVH. Given the Holy Corpse's identity [[spoiler:as Jesus]], he may have sensed a similarly holy energy coming from [[GodIsEvil YHVH]]. Funny Valentine can certainly see how the [[Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfLaw GUAL's]] [[KnightTemplar methods]] match his own, though he admits [[EvenEvilHasStandards he isn't there to stamp out]] TheEvilsOfFreeWill. Caxton out on his mental well being and trying to make him another ally in trying to bring glory to America. Admiral Akainu made a fast ally out of Funny Valentine due to [[KnightTemplar his views of justice]] [[TheUnfettered and dedication]] [[MoralSociopathy beyond empathy]].
* He's glad the GUAL part of the Trope Pantheon as he sure as hell wasn't going to work with the [[Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfEvil GUAE]]. He does admit one of their Horsemen, Griffith, is similar to him in that they want a great, shining empire even if it means devastating the outside world. [[NotSoSimilar Of course, the differences]] are clear: what Griffith is doing [[ItsAllAboutMe is entirely self-serving]] and [[DespotismJustifiesTheMeans any goodness of Falconia represents his vanity and greed]]...assuming [[HopeSpot he doesn't have something darker in mind for the citizens]]. [[Pantheon/{{Villainy}} Melkor]] sent Damien Thorn to watch this, as the latter is interested in obtaining the Holy Corpse [[ScrewDestiny to prevent the Second Coming]] [[spoiler:by taking his adversary's body hostage]]. Naturally Valentine ''does not'' want TheAntichrist to get his grubby mitts on [[spoiler:his Resurrection's flesh]].
* Funny Valentine has a "taking the first napkin" approach, which is why many non-American deities cast doubt on his WellIntentionedExtremist status even if all evidence shows he believes what he's doing is what a noble patriot should do. The Ultranationalists certainly recognize that approach and they consider the 23rd president a proper opponent against their goals. He doesn't feel much outside of contempt for them [[EvenEvilHasStandards as even for him their methods are questionable]]. Nikita Dragovich really doesn't want Valentine to succeed as he's sick of the U.S already being a superpower, and he's not interested in hearing a speech from the man. Magneto was more willing to discuss ideology with Funny Valentine, since he has a similar mindset to him regarding his own people.
* Wiz and Boomstick were very interested in Funny Valentine's powers and ability to access the multiverse, and are considering starring him in a ''Death Battle'' one day. Valentine would advise by then, they have a [[WorthyOpponent worthy]] ActionPolitician for him to fight against. Saxton Hale insists he should be that opponent since Funny Valentine's victory would have put America above the rest of the world, [[AwesomeAussie so he'll be there to represent the wrath of Australia]]. While Funny Valentine likes his spirit and will, he doubts even as someone as badass as him can really hold up to [[SuperpowerLottery his Stand]]. He's more than open to their suggestion of fighting Octogeddon, however, since he hates how they destroy famous landmarks like the Statue of Liberty and the White House.
* They later asked if he was a Democrat or Republican. Funny Valentine rolled his eyes at this and said "who cares, [[TakeThat political parties are bullshit]]". Much as [[Pantheon/AuthoritativeBehaviour George Washington]] doesn't like Valentine, [[ActuallyPrettyFunny that made him smirk for once]]. Later pressing on his politics revealed there were Funny Valentines in the multiverse that were Democrat, Republican and even Populist Party members [[InSpiteOfANail who shared the same personality and belief system]]. Surprisingly there was one incarnation who met Gul Dukat and the two found common ground in their desire to serve their people and make their nation superior with very morally dubious methods. Of course, they are immoral patriots of two different nations so their relationship is one of rivalry than a true alliance.
* With [[{{Eagleland}} how passionate he is for the United States]] [[EvilVirtues in both good]] [[UtopiaJustifiesTheMeans and bad ways]], it was a little bit surprising that he only recently learned that the country had a personification in the Trope Pantheon. That America has a big hero complex so Funny Valentine thought he could easily court[[note]][[HoYay not in that way]][[/note]] him. [[NotSoSimilar However America thinks his heroism should be used for the rest of the world]] and not just himself, and has criticized Funny Valentine [[MoralMyopia for thinking the world should be thrown under the bus if it makes America great]]. Being the embodiment of the country he loves Valentine [[VillainousBSOD briefly went silent unsure what to do]], before composing himself and [[VillainousVow swearing to one day convince America of the righteousness of his cause]]. [[GoKartingWithBowser When they aren't arguing over ideology, the two love watching baseball]].
* ''"Suppose that you were sitting down at this table. The napkins are in front of you, which napkin would you take? The one on your ‘left’? Or the one on your ‘right’? The one on your left side? Or the one on your right side? Usually you would take the one on your left side. That is ‘correct’ too. But in a larger sense on society, that is wrong. Perhaps I could even substitute ‘society’ with the ‘Universe’. The correct answer is that ‘It is determined by the one who takes his or her own napkin first.’ …Yes? If the first one takes the napkin to their right, then there’s no choice but for others to also take the ‘right’ napkin. The same goes for the left. Everyone else will take the napkin to their left, because they have no other option. This is ‘society’… Who are the ones that determine the price of land first? There must have been someone who determined the value of money, first. The size of the rails on a train track? The magnitude of electricity? Laws and Regulations? Who was the first to determine these things? Did we all do it, because this is a Republic? Or was it Arbitrary? NO! The one who took the napkin first determined all of these things! The rules of this world are determined by that same principle of ‘right or left?’! In a Society like this table, a state of equilibrium, once one makes the first move, everyone must follow! In every era, this World has been operating by this napkin principle. And the one who ‘takes the napkin first’ must be someone who is respected by all. It’s not that anyone can fulfill this role… Those that are despotic or unworthy will be scorned. And those are the ‘losers’. In the case of this table, the ‘eldest’ or the ‘Master of the party’ will take the napkin first… Because everyone ‘respects’ those individuals".''

* On uncertain terms with: [[Pantheon/AntiHeroism Peter Quill]]
* Rex Dangervest. Galaxy-defender, archeologist, cowboy and raptor-trainer, he would rescue Emmet from being lost crashing into a glasstroid. At first he seemed like a mentor, wanting to train Emmet in being tougher, grittier and more grown-up so they may infiltrate the Systar System and stop their seemingly villainous goals by crashing Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi's wedding. In reality this was to destroy the system and trigger "Armamageddon", sending Emmet's friends into the Storage Box. His motive? [[FutureMeScaresMe He's an older Emmet]] who wasn't rescued [[AndIMustScream and was trapped under the Dryer for years]]. [[FreudianExcuse Fuelled by resentment for being abandoned and forgotten by his friends]], he went back in time for his revenge [[TheCorrupter and make Emmet more "mature" like him]].
* Ultimately Emmet's friends managed to fight their way out of the Storage Bin, and Emmet refused to become like him. [[RetGone As such, he vanished from the timeline]] despite Emmet and Wyldstyle's hopes of him redeeming himself. The [[TimeyWimeyBall complex nature]] [[DeathIsCheap and lack of true mortality]] in the pantheon led Rex Dangervest to manifest back into existence. [[DeathEqualsRedemption He had accepted Emmet's growth into a better man than him]], and has become more aloof in the pantheon. He's too bitter to pull a full HeelFaceTurn and is on the run from the Pantheonic Time Police, but doesn't have any villainous schemes and is on a quest of self-discovery than anything.
** In the video game adaptation [[AdaptationalVillainy he lacks a redemption]], and this "evil" aspect shows up as a SplitPersonality with Rex that leads to him sometimes cause trouble. Grandfather Paradox, who has a lot of interest in him because of his paradoxical FutureMeScaresMe nature, cryptically mused "there is always a price to pay" at this.
* His name is short for Radical Emmet X-Treme Dangervest, reflecting his desire for an older, tougher and edgier persona. He styles himself as a NinetiesAntiHero, and as such he admires both Spawn and Lobo. The two couldn't care less, though some have pointed out that Dangervest's [[OmnicidalManiac omnicidal plans towards the people he knew]] isn't too different from Lobo [[WhereIWasBornAndRazed destroying the Czarnians]]. Lobo thinks it's funny that like him, he did it in part because "they're dweebs", though Lobo did it [[ForTheEvulz for a lark]] while Rex is driven by actual bitterness.
* Rex styles himself on Star-Lord, [[Creator/ChrisPratt and not just that they sound alike]]. He's a huge fan of the guy, and while Peter is happy to hear that and likes his style he thinks [[YoureInsane what he did was mad]]. [[MagnificentBastard Ingenious and well-thought out]], but completely insane. Rex admits [[GoMadFromTheIsolation being under the Dryer did a number on him]], however as he's semi-reformed now he wants to be in Peter's good graces and go on actual heroic adventures with him. However his video game persona only seeks to manipulate him.
* Has a genuine soft spot for his pet raptors, and he's allies with the Raptor Pack. Rex is also allies with Bob as they believe in being mature, edgy and cool, and have fluctuated on villainy and anti-heroism. The two also have [[RageAgainstTheAuthor contempt for "authors"]], [[spoiler:as Rex is actually a LEGO a kid plays with as part of a time travel plot]]. He was impressed that [[spoiler:[[DidYouJustScamCthulhu Rex was able to manipulate the kids playing with him and his fellow [=LEGOs=] ]] ]], however because he hates time travel they often argue about that.
* [[StrawNihilist Has a nihilistic view on things]], considering his old friends "pieces of plastic" due to his isolation [[spoiler:within the real world]]. He implores the toys from Toy Story to reject the idea that they are "childish playthings", and thinks [[spoiler:Woody becoming a free toy]] is a marketable improvement. They look at him with pity due to his fate, but feel he went too far. Lotso, who they despise, was consequentially impressed by Rex Dangervest. However Rex doesn't like Lotso. While part of this could be a case of EvenEvilHasStandards, he also chides Lotso on taking his revenge out on toys rather than the humans who abandoned him. Lotso considers this rich [[{{Hypocrite}} as most of those in the LEGO universe he planned to destroy did nothing to him]].
* Some have argued Rex Dangervest is the "edgy and extreme" {{Foil}} Lars Fillmore. The two are older selves of other figures that relate to maturity, but in every way they seem the reverse. Lars is genuinely mature, and [[Pantheon/ParadoxesAndTimeLoops Fry]] was on bad terms with him until near the end where he did what took Lars 12 years and [[IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy try to reunite him with Leela]]. Lars also retained his NiceGuy personality from Fry. Rex only acts mature, acts like a friend to Emmet before revealed as a ManipulativeBastard and [[ItsAllAboutMe is rather selfish]], and went from the NiceGuy Emmet to a jaded FallenHero. Lars is upset that he fell so far, but he and Fry are both glad to see he's trying to learn the error of his ways now that the pantheon has given him corporeal existence once more.
* Comparisons have been made between Rex and EMIYA, given [[IHatePastMe they aren't fond of their overly idealistic younger selves]], however EMIYA is an AntiHero while Rex was the BigBad. [[NotSoSimilar Furthermore]] EMIYA would love to [[TemporalSuicide kill his past self]]. EMIYA doesn't like Rex as [[PsychopathicManchild "he's wannabe matured"]] and tried to destroy the LEGO world, though he's not enemies since Rex has had his HazyFeelTurn. Interestingly, both are considered [[MagnificentBastard magnificent bastards]].
* Others have also called out Rex as a {{Hypocrite}} given he wants Emmet to be mature yet is a PsychopathicManchild, doesn't value friendship but his raptors are [[MoralityPet his friends]], and insists you shouldn't live in the past despite him doing so figuratively ''and'' literally. [[HypocrisyNod Rex admits this]], and is trying to grow into a genuinely more mature person in the pantheon. [[AdaptationalVillainy The video game personality]], however, thinks his critics are "dweebs".
* Back when he was a villain, he was an ally of the Dawnbreaker as they both had [[PsychopathicManchild a childish desire]] to get back at the world that hurt them. However Rex didn't respect him as he was blatantly childish [[{{Hypocrite}} and not "grown up" like him]]. He also worked with Eobard Thawne to manipulate time to his advantage, and Dark Danny to ensure their past selves would become them. However nowadays he keeps his distance from them, and to some extent [[EvenEvilHasStandards they're worse than him]]; Rex at least had enough humanity to be a GracefulLoser at the end. [[CompleteMonster Thawne and Dark Danny have completely thrown away their humanity long ago]], [[EnemyWithout and in Dark Danny's case this was very literal]]. Dark Danny just pointed out they still are [[OmnicidalManiac just as destructive]].
* Even if he were to have a full HeelFaceTurn, Rex is marked for death by the ClockRoaches in the pantheon for his messing with the time stream [[ParadoxPerson and the fact he shouldn't even exist anymore]]. Clockwork doesn't like his disruptive existence either. Both the main Barry Allen and the one bonded to the Red Death are after him as well, however they feel sympathy for his background. Prime Barry has had experience dealing with multiple TragicVillain [[FutureMeScaresMe future selves]] Future Flash [[spoiler: and [[Series/TheFlash2014 Savitar]] ]], while Earth -52 Barry laments how the Bruce [[AndIMustScream who's brain he's stuck in]] was driven to recklessly try and shift the timeline out of tragedy and doesn't want Rex to fall back into the same mindset.
* Barbatos has revealed that through the Dark Multiverse, there exists a universe where Rex [[TheBadGuyWins succeeded in his goals]] and was able to convince Emmet to side with him to solidify it, [[StableTimeLoop setting him on the path to become Rex]]. The bane of [[Pantheon/DimensionsAndMultiverses the Dark Multiverse]] wants to get Rex to re-embrace his inner darkness and skills with time travel for his own plans of corruption, and show him the nightmare worlds. Besides wanting aid for his ambitions of a MultiversalConqueror, he relates to Rex's StrawNihilist views [[EvilCannotComprehendGood as he believes all is destined for death and destruction]].
* Given [[AndIMustScream the reason]] [[GoMadFromTheIsolation for his screwed-up mindset]], he hates AM with the fire of a thousand suns and he knows the insane supercomputer would inflict anguish far greater and something he truly could never escape from. Also, while he's not a complete enemy he is rather disturbed by [[spoiler:Black Noir]]. Yes, both have plots involving driving someone to villainy, but [[{{Gorn}} what he did]] [[EvenEvilHasStandards grosses Rex out]]. However [[spoiler:Noir's TV incarnation]] [[AdaptationalHeroism is a much better person]], albeit not a good guy persay, who Rex thinks is kind of slick.
* Though he went about it the wrong way, Rex does genuinely believe he was aiding his past self in growing up. [[NotSoSimilar Might be what fuels his distaste]] for [[spoiler:Black Noir, who only wanted to complete his purpose in life]]. He and Hunter Zolomon hold competing views about how one should achieve "helping" people, however the two of them do agree that MiseryBuildsCharacter. Well they did; Rex's views on that matter are more murky nowadays.

* The Time Eater was an enigmatic supernatural entity that Dr Eggman found floating in space. Intrigued by the being's power over time, he worked with his past self to turn the Time Eater into a HumongousMecha he could use to undo his past defeats. The Time Eater wrecked havoc on history, swiping different points in space-time, before eventually succumbing to the combined force of Classic and Modern Super Sonic.
* As the name suggests, the Time Eater can "eat" time and drag points of history into a white void. For this reason, it is considered a mortal foe of Pantheonic Time Police. Dr Eggman considers the creatures his ace against them, at least until he finds something better. There have been some comparisons made to Mephiles, and some even theorize it's what's left over from Solaris. No word on if this is the case, however.
* All guardians and deities of time consider the Time Eater to be an abomination that must be put down ASAP. This includes Dialga, Clockwork and Chronos.
* Seemingly devoid of sentience, and is the first EldritchAbomination Dr Eggman has learned to control. As such, it doesn't have much allies out of Dr Eggman's, and is mainly focused on eliminating allies of Sonic. Due to their partnership, Dr Wily is interested in the Time Eater being much more effective in time manipulation than any Robot Master or the Time Skipper. Eggman is happy to let Wily be the co-pilot, as he thinks Wily is just as smart as himself and Classic Eggman [[FutureMeScaresMe thinks Modern Eggman's a bit loopy]].
* Due to being Dr Eggman's monster and now siding with Dr Wily, all allies of both Sonic and Mega Man are considered the creature's enemy. It also considers Kirby and Agent 9 enemies. With Agent 9, this is because of his position of providing BossArenaRecovery, which is inconvenient since Super Sonic ends up burning through rings to sustain his state and Agent 9 can replenish them. Kirby is probably due to fighting [[EldritchAbomination monsters like itself]] on the regular.
* The only other beings something as primal as itself can relate to is Lavos and Lord English. Lavos is a beast of apocalyptic destruction that seems to lack intelligence, only doing what comes naturally to it. [[spoiler:That, and the Time Devourer is similar in how it eats time]]. Lord English is intelligent [[TheBrute albeit still idiotic]], but thinks the Time Eater's powers would be very useful for his efforts [[OmnicidalManiac to destroy everything everywhere]].
* The Anti-Monitor and Unicron recognize that the Time Eater, like themselves, can devour dimensions. While the Time Eater is a lot weaker and less focused, they consider the creature to be a very useful tool in enhancing their own abilities once they learn to usurp control from Eggman. Most agree the good doctor's current ownership would be the lesser of two evils.
* Rassilon wants to suppress and analyze such a creature, most people thinking this might be part of his plan to pull out [[ApocalypseHow the Final Sanction]] again when things go south, or as a potential ace in another Time War. It didn't take long for the Doctor to catch on to this, but at the end of the day Dr Eggman finds both inconvenient for his own ambitions with the Time Eater.
* Hated by the Dahaka. While on the surface both are shadowy creatures related to time, the Dahaka is a guardian entity and what the Time Eater does is more that change fate but a danger to time itself, making him one of his top priorities to take down.

* Pities: [[Pantheon/FacialAttributes Richard Nixon's head]]
* The world of ''WebVideo/TheMonumentMythos'' is [[AlternateHistory another timeline]] where many American landmarks and iconography have a dark, otherworldly secret to them. One of the changes to the timeline is to actor Creator/JamesDean; in this universe he never died of a car crash. Instead [[RichardNixonTheUsedCarSalesman he would eventually get into politics]], and in 1968 won a landslide election against UsefulNotes/RichardNixon. President Dean was a wildly popular president who initially focused on bringing the troops back from [[UsefulNotes/TheVietnamWar Vietnam]], and he would legalize same-sex marriage while also supporting the Civil Rights movement. However he would deal with a domestic terrorist group called the Anti-Dean Association/ADA, who treated him like the Devil and caused a variety of incidents like mass deafness. He would serve two full terms.
* When learning of the "[[RealLife main]]" timeline, all he had to say was "[[DullSurprise I'm surprised]]". As Dean likely knows where some of the multiple dimension doppelgangers come from, it could be [[SarcasmMode a privately sarcastic moment]]. He was kind of upset to learn that his OTL counterpart died in a car accident, but he is more glad to see that OTL lacks the various anomalies causing problem for the nation. He still needs a guide to the differences between the timelines, so he has tried to get advice on the differences from Presidents Kennedy and Ford as they're the closest presidents to him timeline-wise. Dean has taken a particular liking to the former as he's a handsome, young and incredibly charismatic Democrat not afraid [[HandicappedBadass to let their disability get in the way of dealing with crises]]; Kennedy the Cuban Missile Crisis, and Dean the Anti-Dean Association terrorist group.
* How many presidents in OTL were also presidents in the Deanverse isn't clear, asides from the obvious exception of Nixon ([[TwentyFifthAmendment and by implication]], Gerald Ford). He tries to be generally cordial with them, though it is unknown how he would react [[spoiler:to [[Pantheon/AuthoritativeBehaviour George Washington]] since if he knows who the Horned Serpent was, he knows [[TranshumanAbomination the evil he has potential for]].]] Theodore Roosevelt respects him for [[ActionPolitician his willingness to take a personal hand]] fighting American threats, though he can't say he trusts Dean outright. Ford thinks that he needs to lighten up, though maybe that's just because he has more chill than most presidents.
* James Dean tries to be friendly with other leaders, however he shows nothing but contempt for Frank Underwood. Yes you can argue Dean [[PresidentEvil is evil]], [[{{Hypocrite}} and Frank is quick to point out his ethically dubious actions]], but [[AntiVillain he genuinely means well and wants to help America in his own way]]. By contrast Frank is [[ItsAllAboutMe an entirely myopic leader who only sees America for how it can serve his interests and ego]]. Dean has called President Underwood a ''terrorist'' for organizing cyber attacks that lead to numerous horrible riots and accidents and sitting idly by as sarin gas is deployed against countless innocents, outright declaring Underwood an enemy of the United States just like the ADA. Dean is a lot less venomous in his response with Funny Valentine as he respects his dedication to American exceptionalism, [[EveryoneHasStandards but he disagrees on how he disregards the rest of the world to do so]] and considers him potentially dangerous.
* In his timeline while Nixon lost decisively, [[FriendlyRivalry the two remained on good terms with each]] and liked to race cars with one another. [[spoiler:There's an element of tragedy considering that Nixon would survive as a god-like entity and orchestrate Dean's death in another timeline [[WellIntentionedExtremist in part to try and make sure that reality doesn't suffer as his own did]].]] While OTL Nixon was considered too controversial to ascend, [[WesternAnimation/{{Futurama}} his 31st century head in a jar]] was fair game. Dean pities how he has stewed in his resentment and became an insane PresidentEvil, though the Earth president has no idea what he's talking about. However he was able to warm up a bit to the cyborg president [[GoKartingWithBowser with a derby race]].
* James Dean is under investigation by both the Men in Black and the SCP Foundation for the fact he may be an anomalous entity. He was able to be elected effortlessly off apparent sheer charisma and uses mere honeyed words to win the hearts of thousands. He even distracted Nixon with derby races and even when the sound was cut out of an ad, people still cheered. The thing is, however, that [[AmbiguouslyHuman there is nothing that 100% proves he's not just an ABSURDLY charismatic man]]. In addition, President Dean believes co-operation for both secretive groups is in his best interest. He knows more about the more clear-cut anomalies than the public does, but it's unknown to what extent asides from "definitely not as much as the Foundation and Men in Black would be able to find out". He's personally asked them to help him keep an eye on the alternate 23rd president as his interdimensional Stand might give him a better understanding on the capabilities of the [[BotanicalAbomination Special Trees]]
* [[Pantheon/MetalAndMinerals Magneto]] has his own theory for what James Dean really is; a mutant. [[Pantheon/PersonalAppearance Professor X]] asked "are you sure it's not just [[Film/XMenDaysOfFuturePast JFK]] like you claim", only for the former to go "it's an AlternateHistory, perhaps it was James instead of Jack". They're both in agreement that James Dean is not [[WebVideo/MandelaCatalogue an Alternate]]. Asides from being from different types of AnalogHorror, President Dean is actively opposing the Alternates. And it's not like the Alternates are known for infighting, [[AlwaysChaoticEvil or having any positive traits that Dean does]]. James Dean is paranoid about them because they're malevolent beings who reminds him of reports he got from [[GeniusLoci Alcatraz]], which assimilates and copies things. [[spoiler:By the [=2020s=], it succeeds at replacing the entire U.S.]]
* It's not clear how much he is aware of the Horned Serpent and its true nature, though one of the major tech companies he collaborated with (Maize Machines) is aware of a lot. [[spoiler:Possibly that the Horned Serpent is the Deanverse's [[TranshumanAbomination George Washington]].]] However Dean has publicly stated that he has a special concern surrounding giant monstrous snakes like Apophis ([[OmnicidalManiac guess why]]). He also isn't that comfortable with the Aztec deities also existing to an extent in the Trope Pantheon given they're known for HumanSacrifice; it's a reminder [[EvilStatesOfAmerica of the dirty dealings]] [[WellIntentionedExtremist his government has felt necessary]]. President Dean is relieved to know [[Pantheon/{{Reptiles}} Quetzalcoatl]] is a giant serpent ''not'' interested in sacrifice.
* President Dean isn't [[PresidentEvil outright evil]] and at worst he sits on the "well-intentioned" side of the WellIntentionedExtremist trope. But he has still been complicit in morally dubious acts, which is why [[TheParagon paragons]] and exemplars of the American dream look at him with a hefty bit of skepticism. The 37th U.S President has a whole lot of respect for Captain America and Superman for all their work, however they are wary of Dean. He's certainly a better president and person than [[Pantheon/TypesOfPopularity Lex Luthor]] was, but they can't shake off the feeling he probably shouldn't be allowed the amount of power he has. To his credit, James Dean has made no moves against them in part because "I'm not stupid enough to believe getting rid of two of Earth's great protectors would ever be a good thing". To Dean's fans they applauded wildly, but cynics just thought this was a case of PragmaticVillainy.
* Conspiracy theorists don't like Dean since even if many think the ADA's claims he's {{Satan}} to be MaliciousSlander, they do think he's some sort of HumanoidAbomination up to even more shady activity than what's been revealed. The Question is currently trying to kidnap him to find out his deal and expose whatever his ''real'' goal is. These conspiracy theories include being in collusion with [[Pantheon/TyrannicalFigures The Patriots and the Enclave]], but as far as any serious research into the Dean administration has considered he is merely intrigued by them. Rorschach is of a similar mind to the Question that James Dean is dangerous and must be stopped, which was fueled by his moral absolutism [[PoliticallyIncorrectHero and reactionary/conservative political views]].
* Though the ADA aren't reliable narrators, Dean does have a dark side. He [[HumanSacrifice sacrificed members of]] the ADA, merging of all tech companies into a single government- controlled entity and erasure, and is a potent enough CharmPerson that some have seen it as evidence [[AmbiguouslyHuman he's not truly human]]. However at worst his more amoral actions [[WellIntentionedExtremist were done for the good of his country]], and he isn't the first that had to sacrifice people to [[BotanicalAbomination the Special Trees]] [[LivingStatue and Freedom]]. Senator Armstrong respects this resolve in doing what's necessary, but he fears what he's doing may make America weak. James Dean isn't fond of Armstrong as he sees him as a loose cannon, but he does admit [[WellIntentionedExtremist it's out of a desire to better the country]]...[[NotSoDifferentRemark he understands that]].
* Curing deafness was an important part of his administration after the ADA terrorist attack that deafened millions, Dean included, one of his focuses was curing deafness. He succeeded doing so across America thanks to implants, however his has been met by some criticism in the Hall of Pantheon/{{Disabilities}} given it was also an (unintentional) erasure of deaf culture. When asked if he would try to give an implant for other deaf deities, Dean tactfully stated "no comment" as he doesn't intend to cause controversy. [[Pantheon/CausesOfSadness Ruben Stone]] has come to accept his disability and isn't interested in any implants. Neither are [[Pantheon/LoveInterests Shoya Ishida or Shoko Nishimiya]]; again Dean isn't going to press the issue more than he should.
* In addition to paranormal terrorist groups, James Dean also takes umbridge with the more conventional hate group of the Klu Klux Klan. As with the OTL Presidents Kennedy and [[UsefulNotes/LyndonJohnson his successor]], he was supportive of the Civil Rights movement and allowed a [[AlternateHistory not assassinated]] Martin Luther King Jr to represent the cause in a speech about it. One of the main reasons the ADA opposed him is that they didn't like that [[PoliticallyIncorrectVillain he likes Jazz music and demonizes pre-Civil War slave laborers as incompetent]]. Col Benjamin believes that Dean is a {{Hypocrite}}; he condemns the terroristic ADA members to HumanSacrifice or turning them into [[LosingYourHead the Canyon]] [[SlaveRace Crowns]]. Dean justifies this [[WellIntentionedExtremist as a necessary evil]], and it's not like he opposes the ADA on a ''racial'' basis.
* Farnsworth assumed [[Pantheon/ParadoxesAndTimeLoops Fry]] had messed up and "[[OnceDoneNeverForgotten really screwed the granny]] [[MyOwnGrampa again]]" for there to be a president James Dean, before realizing that James Dean was in fact part of a parallel universe. James Dean doesn't know and probably doesn't want to know what he's talking about, but he likes Fry's fashion sense since he rocks the look Dean had [[Film/RebelWithoutACause playing Jim Stark]]. Also of note is that [[Pantheon/MentalismOther Mordecai and Rigby]] have wondered if somehow the Canyon Crowns he keeps under wraps are distantly related to one [[{{Cephalothorax}} Gary Bobby Ferguson]]. Though the world of ''WesternAnimation/RegularShow'' [[WorldOfWeirdness is anything but]], Dean doubts the anomalies of his world could extend that far.
* On another light-hearted note, the Hypnotoad was annoyed by Dean's TV interviews distracting people from "Everybody Loves Hypnotoad", as the amphibian felt that Dean was stealing viewers away. The Hypnotoad confronted Dean with the intent to mind control him to humiliate the guy, but ended up seeing his ads and [[WorthyOpponent realizing the man's charisma is commendable]]. Though President Dean admitted that a sentient toad was "strange", he did reach out to the Hypnotoad by saying they could always race cars together...however that'd work with a toad. The Hypnotoad mind-controlled his chauffer to do so. On his off days you can see James Dean having fun with Dominic Toretto and trying to beat Lightning [=McQueen=] in a race. He's really gotten into ''VideoGame/MarioKart'' as of late and often joins up with the Pantheon/SuperMarioBros deities in their tournaments.
* It's not known what will happen if someone as skilled at the BreakingSpeech and MoreThanMindControl as Johan Liebert meets as big of a CharmPerson as James Dean. The latter isn't taking any chances and plans to shoot him on sight, since "he's just a man...[[AmbiguouslyHuman probably]]". James Dean has no patience for [[TheSociopath his psycho]][[ForTheEvulz pathic]] nihilism or his crimes, no matter what the ADA say about him. He also doesn't have patience for another jingoistic terrorist group that calls itself the 50 Blessings, as he has no intention of becoming the president who ushers war with Russia to "make America strong [[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist or some nonsense the Janitors tell themselves]]".
* [[spoiler:Two other timeline versions of James Dean are known to exist. The ''Nixonverse'' James Dean had the same life as his OTL self, but his death was caused by the Last Son. The ''Montyverse'' James Dean suffered a breakdown in his political career due to his sister's death and resigned himself to being vice president. He learned it was caused by one Howard Melrose and went on a blood path of vengeance, not knowing he was framed for what was a suicide. [[ArcWords Grief has]] [[RoaringRampageOfRevenge made him a monster]].]]
* ''"This is Jimmy, signing off."''
