They’d succeed in gathering the Cures, and would eventually take the fight to Joker and the Bad End Kingdom. |

The plan also had Joker planning on having them act out way too much to evict them from the Pantheon once he managed to replace them all, granting a decisive victory. At first it went well…and then Yayoi’s tears turned into lightning and incinerated her faster than she realized it was coming and could enjoy the despair. Tsumugi, upon learning, made a mental note not to do so with her, especially when Yayoi recovered from what Junko tried to do pretty fast. They’re uncomfortable around Monaca Towa but know she is a RetiredMonster despite the girl having Junko as a former idol and mentor. Other Hope Crushers they oppose happen to be The Joker, who they know not to underestimate despite him having no powers and being human, Kefka, The Batman Who Laughs, Terumi and Enter, among others. And when ''their'' Joker ascended, he wasted no time when it came to pulling KickTheDog moments by mocking them over the fact that their fight against the reign of despair never ended even without him. |
| 363 | * As their greatest foe is an OmnicidalManiac, MonsterClown and VillainousHarlequin, as well as the aforementioned HopeCrusher, this has caused the Smile Cures to oppose those kind of deities. They are some of the most fervent opposers of the Pantheon/GrandUnitedAllianceOfDestruction, for example, and to the Smile Pretty Cures, the aforementioned Kefka Palazzo takes all of Joker’s traits and cranks them into high gear, minus the “never betraying your superior” part which is non-existent in Kefka when it came to Gestahl. Once he left, Reika told the rest of the Smile Cures that she did not trust him one bit, and they decided not to go. And The Violator is one of the most despicable beings they’ve ever met. |

While he later tried readjusting to a normal life after returning to Earth, he ultimately couldn't adjust properly and left for space once more to resume his adventures alongside his crew. |
