Just because ''Power Rangers Wild Force'' is a more lighthearted series, it ''doesn't'' mean it doesn't have dark elements. In fact, ''Wild Force'' has one of the darkest backstories for a Red Ranger and let's not get into some of the villains...

* '''Master Org''' (especially the first version to appear in the present day narrative, the formerly kind scientist Dr. Viktor Adler). Just everything about his presence is terrifying. It makes most of the villains from the previous seasons look tame. He's killed Cole's parents as well as some of his minions, attempted to kidnap (and kill) baby Cole, he almost killed Cole's teammates, he's also destroyed the Wild Zords he has caused great destruction to the Animarium... and enjoys every minute of it. There seems to be nothing he won't do in order to gain the upper hand.
** In addition to being creepy, he also looked creepy too. Everything from his soulless eyes to the haunting stares he gives off can give anyone nightmares.
** Even his death scenes are terrifying. When he first "dies" in human form (by eating the remains of the original Master Org), we actually see it on screen (which rarely happens), only for him to wake up. When he dies as an org, we see his face one last time (as seen above) which shows his haunted death stare before he ''explodes'', which leaves behind his blood vessels/nervous system (which then also explode), and finally the Org Heart, [[{{Squick}} which is pretty gruesome in it's own right]]. When the Rangers then use the Jungle Sword to pierce said heart and destroy it (before it can rebuild Master Org's body again), you can briefly see the gross red-and-black innards of said heart.
** The ''worst'' part? Adler!Master Org ''chose'' to do all of this. Driven mad by jealousy and paranoia, he ''chose'' to forsake his humanity so he can brutally murder his former friends and their infant son. He ''chose'' to try and destroy the biosphere for spite. And finally, each and every time he killed one of his own Orgs that faithfully served him was something he ''chose'' just to vent out his frustrations. Everything Adler!Master Org does is because he ''chose'' to do it. Which makes him far more terrifying than villains who were made or ''forced'' to be evil.
* Cole's parents' FamilyUnfriendlyDeath, as shown in flashbacks in ''Wild Force'' was something that shouldn't have gotten past the censors. Saying "kill" just won't fly, but having vines assault and grow through the bodies of two terrified humans is hunky-dory so long as no actual blood is shown. Allegedly, writers told Fox standards and practices the parents were going to come back just fine - rumor has it that had it not gotten past the radar, Toxica and Jindrax would have turned out to be the parents (though that doesn't jibe with them having known Master Org from 3,000 years ago and ''immediately'' suspected something wasn't right about the current one, so don't quote us on this one.) The show was in the middle of transferring to Disney's control, and standards and practices folks there did not see earlier episodes and merely assumed they were dead the whole time.
* In ''Wild Force'', Toxica was tricked into cutting off her horn, which weakened her to the point of being unable to stand up. Soon after, Mandilok avoided a shot from the Jungle Blaster by using her as a human shield. She disappeared in a cloud of gold glitter and died, despite being the only human-looking org in the season. Mandilok carelessly taunted Toxica as she died screaming in agony. All this because of Master Org's treachery.
* Mandilok can also qualify, if because they have multiple mouths and two minds.
