[[folder:Season 1]]
* Bill O'Reilly's eyes when he says he's evil.
* There's something very off-setting about Justin Bieber. His giggles and the fact that he looks creepy, insane and evil at times makes him seem like a creepy doll.
* Mr. Rogers comes off as incredibly unnerving during his battle against Mr. T, delivering his lines in a [[DissonantSerenity calm]] and [[CreepyMonotone monotonous]] fashion which quickly morphs into the most disturbing TranquilFury ever once Mr. T [[BerserkButton accuses him of pedophilia]].
** When Mr Rogers delivers his [[PrecisionFStrike final line]] Mr. Mcfeely can be seen standing outside the window with a baseball bat. Which gives some unfortunate racist implications of Mr. Rogers trying to run Mr. T out of his neighborhood.
* Dr. Seuss can be quite disturbing as TheVoiceless MarionetteMaster that he is. Despite being in a participant in a rap battle, he never says a word, only [[KubrickStare grinning and glaring menacingly]] while summoning his creations to battle for him.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Season 2]]
* ''Bill Gates vs. Steve Jobs'':
** After Steve Jobs dies in his battle with Bill Gates, Gates seems to go insane, especially compared to his previous TranquilFury... The especially creepy part is how he seems to realize this ''mid-verse,'' going from yelling at Steve's death to declaring he's alone atop of the industry's business. His sudden change is frightening.
--> [[PunctuatedForEmphasis I'm a boss! I own DOS!]]
--> [[TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou Your future is]] ''[[TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou my design!]]''
--> [[AGodAmI I'm a god!]] [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking Own Xbox!]]
--> Now there's no one that can stop me! '''THE WORLD IS MINE!'''
** Then [[Film/TwoThousandOneASpaceOdyssey HAL 9000]] intrudes on the battle. He's appropriately eerie, boasting of his superiority in that infamous [[CreepyMonotone monotone]] of his. The most terrifying thing about him is that he does not seem to move on his own, nor does he emote.
* Skrillex briefly turns into a "[[MythologyGag Scary Monster]]" that looks kind of creepy.
* Stalin's portrayal is quite... unsettling. Most of his lines are part of a long, thorough death threat towards Rasputin and everyone he knows. What makes this worse was that he wasn't any better in RealLife.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Season 3]]
* [[Literature/AChristmasCarol The Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come]] in ''Donald Trump vs. Ebenezer Scrooge'' is as dark and creepy as he is in the book, albeit averting TheVoiceless in favour of EvilSoundsDeep (or rather morally ambiguous). He's not once played for laughs either, and there's only a second's indication that he'll turn up. Nice Peter even invokes this in the Behind the Scenes video.
-->''Boo! You're gonna die, with no one to love you and no one to cry!''
* ''Creator/EdgarAllanPoe vs. Creator/StephenKing'' invokes this, starting with an eerie reversed bell toll and leading into the two horror writers' aptly creepy environments. Poe in particular has his own personal moments of creepiness, with his [[TheUnSmile impression of]] Creator/BeverlyCleary during his first verse and his GrossUpCloseUp at the beginning of his second.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Season 4]]
* ''UsefulNotes/JackTheRipper vs. [[Literature/SilenceOfTheLambs Hannibal Lecter]]'' invokes this so well that it might just become this in realtime, with plenty of [[JumpScare jump scares]] throughout, including one near the end of the video. Jack begins by gleefully bragging about all the pain and heartbreak his murders caused and the fact that [[KarmaHoudini he got away with all of it]]. Lecter's verses are only slightly less disturbing, with his voice starting off calm and composed but slowly becoming more and more manic as the rap goes on.
** Epic Lloyd also duplicates Anthony Hopkins's mannerisms perfectly -- particularly his [[KubrickStare unblinking gaze]].
* Hitchcock may have been the master of suspense, but it's Stanley Kubrick that makes his fortunately brief verse in ''Creator/StevenSpielberg vs. Creator/AlfredHitchcock'' a bit demented. Combining his signature KubrickStare with the command of the other directors try to get their raps right by doing them again 127 more times, and declaring that they will learn to love him, as well as having Kubrick watch the other directors from a director's chair [[MindScrew with visuals similar to the ending scenes of 2001: A Space Odyssey flashing behind him]], and it can make Michael Bay's dramatic entrance on a helicopter at sunset a welcome reprieve...
* While ''Creator/DavidCopperfield vs. Creator/HarryHoudini'' might not be nightmare-inducing, the instrumental track in it is menacing enough to give anyone the willies. Especially since there's a ''heart monitor'' beeping throughout.
* ''Franchise/{{Robocop}} vs. The Franchise/{{Terminator}}'' has the latter suddenly mimicking Ellen Murphy... ''in her own voice.'' Hearing that voice come from the Terminator after several lines of his normal voice is... jarring.
* Nice Peter's performance as Julius Caesar in ''Shaka Zulu vs. Julius Caesar'' is intensely sinister due to how strategic and calculating his character is, especially in the end where he tells Shaka Zulu that he'll enslave him after the battle is over. He even has a very intimidating KubrickStare and a eerily calm demeanor.
* ''Creator/JimHenson vs. Creator/StanLee'':
** Just the fact that they're interrupted not by either Roy Disney or Creator/WaltDisney, the brothers who created it, but by '''''Creator/{{Disney}} itself''''', the massive conglomerate that ''literally'' owns both Franchise/TheMuppets and Creator/MarvelComics, as a larger-than-life business-suited version of a young Walt, who uses VoiceOfTheLegion and SuddenlyShouting to ''bury'' them.
** Walt Disney, God-Emperor of Disney World, talks about working his employees to the bone for billions of dollars with a delirious smile on his face. He only stops smiling to mock artists for begging him to stop.
** The final shot is particularly terrifying, as it shows hundreds of oppressed artists working in what Disney refers to as his "empire of joy". The implication is that Jim and Stan are soon going to join them. They look suitably terrified.
** Furthermore, probably one of the most disturbing lines he has is "I'm owning this battle!/In fact, I own this whole SERIES!!!" This has astounding implications since Epic Rap Battles of History is sponsored through Maker Studios, who are, in turn, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. Even though this is a satire of Walt Disney and his company, Epic Lloyd and Nice Peter are, in fact, a part of this "Empire of Joy".[[note]]Well, not anymore as of April 2019.[[/note]]
---> '''[=YouTube=] commenter:''' ''This is the darkest battle ever... and we had 2 serial killers in a battle.''
** And most importantly, this episode doesn't end with the usual "Who won? Who's next?" bit... Because we already know there was no contest once the real winner showed up.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Season 5]]
* J. R. R. Tolkien's face when he says that both Martin and [[Series/GameOfThrones Jon Snow]] in ''Creator/GeorgeRRMartin vs. Creator/JRRTolkien'' know nothing is a NightmareFace. Especially since said shot was done in a dark... place, lit only by the fire of his pipe match.
* ''Creator/GordonRamsay vs. Creator/JuliaChild'':
** Julia Child, the woman who brought French Cooking to America, casually decapitates animals while doing most of her lines, from slicing a fish's head off to '''RIPPING''' the head off of a chicken.
** And for the rest of the battle after decapitating the chicken (which is mercifully brief), she wears what can only be described as a very creepy SlasherSmile. Then she takes out the hammer...
* ''UsefulNotes/IvanTheTerrible vs. UsefulNotes/AlexanderTheGreat'':
** Ivan the Terrible using many sneaky tactics to murder Alexander and Fredrick the Great, but the kicker was Catherine beheading Pompey before he can even start his rap and casually makes it a Russian v Russian battle.
** Alexander the Great deserves a mention for gleefully boasting about torturing his enemies until their vocal cords tear from screaming. [[AssholeVictim Kind of makes you think maybe Ivan let him off easy...]]
** The primary beat throughout the battle, played during Ivan, Alexander, and Catherine's verses, makes the entire battle seem hauntingly bleak. And in a way, the jarring contrast with Frederick the Great's theme makes it even more unnerving.
* ''Donald Trump vs. Hillary Clinton'':
** There's something somewhat disturbing about watching Donald Trump in the video, mostly because his lines seem [[PoliticallyIncorrectVillain so ridiculously]] [[CrossesTheLineTwice mean spirited,]] and yet they also sound like something the real thing would ''actually'' say.
** His general movement is a bit unnerving. He's hunched over, constantly staring at Hillary and doesn't really do anything. Compared to Clinton, who was a lot more active in terms of movement, Donald looks a little... off. Even the dab he does, while played for laughs, is a little uncanny.
** Hillary Clinton makes some really unnerving faces, particularly during her verse when she starts attacking Donald for his offensive sexual comments and suddenly starts shouting. Even Lincoln commented on her creepy smile.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Season 6]]
* ''[[Franchise/ANightmareOnElmStreet Freddy Krueger]] vs. ComicBook/{{Wolverine}}'':
** Not only does Freddy look [[BodyHorror absolutely terrifying]], but his very presence oozes fear with every lyric.
** He starts off chanting his signature IronicNurseryTune in a dark AbandonedPlayground (briefly interspersed with a shot of him charging at you in a dark hallway), and then [[SelfMutilationDemonstration chops off two of his own fingers and grows them back]] to demonstrate his toughness. He gets very few humorous lines, instead going straight to the violent threats against Wolverine.
** His second verse is even worse when he starts using his DreamWeaver powers. He does everything he can to disempower his enemy; from [[AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever growing to giant size]] to taking away Wolverine’s claws — his main line of defense — and replacing them with miniature versions of himself before [[MagnetismManipulation turning his arms into giant magnets]] [[YouWillNotEvadeMe to drag the adamantium-infused hero closer to him]]. It’s just unnerving to watch our hero completely at the mercy of such a monster.
*** Despite being a phenomenally adept warrior superhero, Logan is just as helpless as anyone else in The Nightmare World: it's impossible to hurt (or even faze) Freddy, because Freddy controls the reality.
** Then Logan [[AllJustADream wakes up in his room]] only to find out [[DreamWithinADream he’s still dreaming]]. Wolverine actively starts looking for Freddy as the Springwood Slasher surreptitiously appears in the background, just outside Logan’s field of vision (even [[MirrorMonster replacing Wolverine’s image in a mirror]]) before the battle ends with Freddy melding through the wall and looming over Wolverine a la his first movie. The only reprieve is that [[ImNotAfraidOfYou at no point does Wolverine let any of this faze him]].
** Even his title card appearance is unsettling. Most rappers tend to act out in funny, outlandish, or cool ways in their title cards. All Freddy does however, is grind his index finger's blade against a piece of metal while keeping his face obscured from the camera...until the last moment, where he looks up and just stares at you. And that piece of metal? It's [[LeaningOnTheFourthWall the bottom of the video player.]] It makes it look like he's [[TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou trying to cut his way out]].
* Just like Jack the Ripper, real life monster Vlad the Impaler in ''Dracula vs. Vlad the Impaler'' makes some quite disturbing boasts about his crimes.
-->Imagine forests of corpses, dripping on a buffet.
-->You call that a nightmare? [[ButForMeItWasTuesday I call it a Tuesday!]]
-->.....
-->I butcher men, women and children like cows!
-->Put more meat on swords than Fogo de Chao!
* If the previous battle didn't frighten you, Peter and Lloyd decided to follow it up with a battle between two of the most notorious [[MonsterClown killer clowns]] in all of fiction: ''ComicBook/TheJoker vs [[Literature/{{It}} Pennywise]]'', and it's as creepy as it sounds.
** Pennywise starts its verse in frightening fashion, by having several wall-eyed copies of itself pop out from out of nowhere, each with a DeathGlare creepy enough to visibly intimidate ''The Joker''.
** And this isn't even It at its creepiest, as later in the same verse, it opens its mouth to reveal the [[MoreTeethThanTheOsmondFamily Dead]][[LightIsNotGood lights]], which are all its head still speaking the verse.
** Much like Krueger before it, the title card is quite unnerving, showing Pennywise just standing in the rain, its face obscured by the signature red balloons, before moving them aside to reveal a SlasherSmile.
** While the Clown Prince of Crime is more LaughablyEvil than his opponent, he can still creep some people out, whether it's his constant SlasherSmile and EvilLaugh, getting visibly mad when Pennywise threatens to kill Batman as a child, or making a casual reference to [[ComicBook/ADeathInTheFamily beating Jason Todd to death]], complete with mimicking slowly beating someone to death with a crowbar.
* ''Thanos vs. J. Robert Oppenheimer'':
** Surprisingly enough, J. Robert Oppenheimer rather than Thanos is easily the scarier part of their battle. It takes a lot to make a middle-aged physicist with cancer scarier than Thanos of all people, but the audio distortion and Oppenheimer's MyGodWhatHaveIDone {{thousand yard stare}} will seep into your soul.
** Oppenheimer's ColdHam delivery is particularly ominous, every syllable conveying all the rage, terror, pride, and shame that would come with a reputation such as his to the point where he sounds genuinely unhinged, and it's all filtered through this creepy RadioVoice reminiscent of his famous "I am become Death" broadcast.
*** There's something very oddly chilling about his first couple lines, particularly in how utterly ''drained'' he sounds.
--> "Listening to you took everything I had left."\
"After your raps, I am become deaf."
** At the end, The narrator is ''reduced to dust'' with a whimper after a telltale "snap" in the instrumental track.
* As if it were possible, ''Donald Trump vs. Joe Biden'' is even DarkerAndEdgier than Donald Trump vs. Hillary Clinton. The beat is one of the darkest and most hopeless in the series, and the lyrics feature both rappers ruthlessly going for each other's throats with some of the most cutting, disrespectful, angry disses and threats ever seen on an ERB. The lyrics do feature a lot of the clever wordplay the series is known for, but they have little in the way of bragging or light-hearted moments, being overall unusually extremely serious by ERB standards.
** Early on in the battle, Trump physically threatens Biden and then tells him that he'll shoot his whole party just like he did to Qasem Soleimani. The fact that the real Trump once infamously joked that he'd able to shoot someone in broad daylight without losing voters only paints these lines in a more disturbing light.
** During the "I picked up a DA as my VP!" line, three Bidens stand in front of a police headlight doing finger guns, the middle one sporting an unnerving SlasherSmile. The aviator sunglasses he wears also make his face look like a skull.
* ''Harry Potter vs Luke Skywalker'':
** Owen and Beru Lars are shown running out of their homestead while burning alive before collapsing to the ground, already charred skeletons.
** Luke is shown being crushed by the trash compactor by J.J. Abrams. It's not a GoryDiscretionShot, and the gory remains of Luke are shown plastered across the sides of the compactor.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Season 7]]
* In "Henry Ford vs Karl Marx", the faces that Henry Ford gives off at some parts in the battle are... uncanny to say the least. Like the DeathGlare he shoots off at the end of his first verse.
-->If you saved a penny for each daughter you named "Jenny"\
You might not to needed to bury quite so many
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Other]]
* Mark Zuckerburg's portrayal in ''Creator/ElonMusk vs. Creator/MarkZuckerberg'' is outright creepy with his eyes locked in a permanent, [[WideEyesAndShrunkenIrises wide-eyed]] ThousandYardStare and [[TranquilFury a rather soft-spoken, almost Kermit-like voice]]. Easily the most unnerving part of his rap is claiming to be the CEO of "KNOWING WHAT YOU THINK, INC." while three copies of him [[TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou stare right into the camera.]]
