Implying the horrific possibility that the Bursters, and perhaps ''more'' zombies who cannot vocalize properly anymore, may still maintain some form of consciousness that forces them to watch themselves kill, maul, and devour other humans from within their own bodies. |
| 8 | * One of the many actions the army and CDC were taking to curb the outbreak was to (and brace yourself for this one) [[spoiler: process large quantities of civilians and isolate them, gas them with chemicals to render them unconscious, and then liquefy them while they were still alive by pouring their bodies into a swimming pool converted into a vat of super-strong industrial alkali.
