* The Ghost of Christmas Future is a very sinister-looking Pete, who generally is an IneffectualSympatheticVillain, who throws Scrooge into his own grave, laughing cruelly while Scrooge desperately clings onto the walls of the grave while [[{{Hell}} red smoke and flames rise out of his coffin below]]: ultimately to no avail, losing his grip and falling into the abyss with a look of absolute ''terror''. What makes it all the more shocking is how, of all the adaptations of ''Literature/AChristmasCarol'' out there, one of the very few with Scrooge being sent [[DraggedOffToHell plunging to his eternal damnation]] is the ''Franchise/MickeyMouse'' version.
-->'''Scrooge''': Spirit... whose lonely grave is this?\
(''The ghost lights a match on the tombstone and reveals Scrooge's name on the grave. He removes his hood, uses that match to light his cigar, and smiles menacingly'')\
'''Ghost Of Christmas Future''': Why, ''yours'', Ebenezer. (''slaps Scrooge hard on the back, knocking him into the grave'') '''[[PreMortemOneLiner THE RICHEST MAN IN THE CEMETERY!]]''' (''EvilLaugh'')
** What makes it especially scary is that, traditionally, the Ghost of Christmas Future ''never'' speaks. '''''Ever'''''. [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness It makes Pete sadistically taunting him and then laughing that horrifying laugh all the more effective]].
** And right before all of this? The Spirit points out Bob Crachit with his family at Tiny Tim's grave. Typically in adaptations, Future only divulges how Scrooge's death affects Londoners. But here, again, ''Mickey Mouse'' gets to be shown in mourning.
* In the inspirational record adaptation, the Ghost of Christmas Future is played by the wicked queen (in her old hag form) from ''WesternAnimation/SnowWhiteAndTheSevenDwarfs''. The original record includes a storybook, which features three images of Scrooge with Wicked Queen!Ghost of Christmas Future, the first of which has her ''appearing in his bedroom''. Right after he'd seen what was happening to Bob's family, no less.
* Right after finishing his day at work, probably past midnight, Scrooge goes back home walking alone through the dark and snowy streets of London. When he finally arrives at his house and starts unlocking the door, we receive a close-up of the lion-faced door knob, which suddenly starts transforming into Goofy-Jacob Marley's face while throwing a ghostly and mournful "Scroooge". [[MoodWhiplash Though the humor kicked in when Jacob screamed "Ow!" when Scrooge squeezed his nose, accompanied by a comical "honk".]]
