* WesternAnimation/AdventureTime:
** The Ice King has his moments. When he isn't being psychotic, he's totally friendly and a real sweetheart. [[spoiler: His NiceGuy side is actually all that's left of his mind from the Ice Crown's corruption. The episode that explains his relationship with Marceline shows him being unfailingly devoted to her as a little girl, keeping her happy and safe while helping her navigate the ruins of a city post-Mushroom War, even while succumbing to the crown's influence. Now this manifests as him being drawn to her for reasons he can't explain, and being gentler and more vulnerable when she's around]].
** From what can be seen of him so far, Prince GumballGenderFlip for sometimes-psycho Princess Bubblegum.
** Prismo. He's an all powerful, wish granting entity who lives in the Time Room, but he's content to hang out with Jake and
** Finn himself. He may be a BloodKnight, but he's definitely one of the nicest characters in the show.
** Jake has a loving relationship with his adoptive brother Finn and can be as heroic as he is.
* WesternAnimation/AlvinAndTheChipmunks:
** Theodore. He's so nice, in fact, that he borders on ExtremeDoormat territory.
** Jeanette. She is mostly kind and sweet to everyone around her.
** Eleanor is more assertive than Jeanette, but still caring and maternal.
* WesternAnimation/TheAmazingWorldOfGumball:
** Teri. She is a pretty friendly and sensitive girl, in spite of being a hypochondriac.
** Darwin becomes more aggressive from the second season onwards, but he still remains a CheerfulChild. When he was possessed by a spirit of jealousy, he reveals that "[he's] actually quite happy with [his] life" and holds no spite or envy towards anyone else.
--> Darwin: Is he gonna cry? Because if he cries, I'll cry!
** Penny is one of the nicest characters in the show. Even after the hell Gumball inadvertently put her through in "The Romantic" (he was only trying to rekindle their love), she decided to stay with him.
** Sussie loves everyone and gives the students gifts she does not know are lame to them.
** Anton and Molly are pretty nice. Ocho is nice when he’s not angry. Mr. Small became nicer in Season 2, and Rocky, in his own words, “likes everybody”.
** Richard Watterson, despite being dimwitted and lazy, is a BigFun of a father that would never intentionally do anything to hurt his family (think Homer Simpson without the Jerkass qualities).
** Alan is probably the biggest nice guy in the whole series. Never hesitating to show kindness to others, even someone who's been a massive Jerkass to him. "The Faith" even shows his acts of kindness as so numerous and important to the people of Elmore, that when he briefly loses his faith in the world, the town goes into anarchy and the world literally begins to lose it's color.
*** Alan's girlfriend Carmen is also a very kind and well-meaning person, though she's not as willing to put up with other's crap as her boyfriend and can be InnocentlyInsensitive (as shown in "The Best").
* WesternAnimation/Animaniacs:
** Of the Warner Siblings, Wakko is the nicest. Like Yakko and Dot, he's a KarmicTrickster but he's still sweet-natured and polite.
** Skippy Squirrel is a sweet CheerfulChild who looks up to his Aunt Slappy.
* WesternAnimation/AquaTeenHungerForce:
** Frylock is actually someone most people would like to have as a neighbor... excluding the science experiments, his roommates (one of them, anyway), and his being a living, floating box of french fries. Though he does have his moments.
** Ol' Drippy's featured characteristic. He buys lattes for the team and even saved Master Shake from getting run over by a truck.
** Meatwad is arguably the kindest of the Aqua Teens; his childlike demeanor makes him a very likeable, sweet person and makes friends with almost everyone he meets.
* WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender:
** Original series:
*** Iroh, despite being part of the Fire Nation and helping Zuko with his quest to capture the Avatar, is mostly just a laid-back, friendly CoolOldGuy who would rather offer you a cup of tea than fight you.
*** Aang himself is a pacifistic, friendly and optimistic AllLovingHero who is very respectful to the other cultures.
*** Katara may hold grudges longer than any other member of Team Avatar, but she is overall a warm, kind, mature, caring, compassionate, nurturing and encouraging person with a fierce determination to aid others and a great sense of morality.
*** Suki, in spite of her toughness in having to lead the Kyoshi Warriors, is actually very compassionate, and is loyal to everyone she befriends.
*** Ty Lee may be a part of Azula's group, but she is a sweet girl and doesn't have a malicious bone in her body, unless you want to lose your bending fighting her, of course.
** WesternAnimation/TheLegendOfKorra:
*** Korra eventually becomes this through four seasons of CharacterDevelopment, showing compassion to her enemies and . She states that she'd become a more compassionate person through learning what true suffering meant.
*** Asami Sato from the very start. She uses her vast personal wealth and resources to help her friends out whenever possible, is very hospitable, and refuses to hold a grudge, even in the aftermath of a messy love triangle. Not to mention, her unwavering sense of morality that causes her to turn her back on her father once it is clear he is evil.
*** Bolin is one of the nicest character in the main cast. He's a hugger, empathetic, thoughtful, compassionate, and seeks to devote his entire life to helping people by the end of the series.
* WesternAnimation/BatmanBeyond: Dana Tan. The only people she's not pleasant to are the show's JerkJock, her one-time StalkerWithACrush, and her boyfriend when she's been StoodUp one too many times.
* WesternAnimation/BeanyAndCecil, especially Cecil. He's fiercely protective of his human pal Beany, is friends with the other sea critters and will step up to be a hero to those in need.
* WesternAnimation/BobsBurgers:
** While Bob Belcher's a definite introvert and dislikes having to spend time with pretty much anyone, he's actually a pretty compassionate and understanding guy who's quick to make friends with most people he meets regardless of their eccentricities (see his friendships with Marshmallow and the three transvestite hookers whom he may have tried crack with while sharing a drink with).
** Starting with the second season, Linda Belcher has always been very cheerful, happy-go-lucky, friendly, helpful, and kind-hearted.
** Tina Belcher is generally the nicest and most (selflessly) helpful of the Belcher kids, and tends to be polite and docile to everyone unless they've wronged her in some way.
* WesternAnimation/BojackHorseman: Mr. Peanutbutter and Todd Chavez.
* WesternAnimation/Bordertown: Ernesto is really nice to everyone and he rarely shows any anger, even at Bud who's racist to Mexican. But he does show some frustration with his nephew J.C.
* WesternAnimation/BrandyAndMrWhiskers: Ed the otter is one of the nicest, most likable, most easygoing characters on the show.
* WesternAnimation/BumpInTheNight: Molly Coddle, who is very close friends with the other main characters Mr. Bumpy and Squishington and really likes helping people when they are hurt or upset.
* WesternAnimation/Caillou: Nearly every character on the show besides Caillou himself and Jason and Jeffrey come off as very friendly and kind people. And even Caillou evolves into a kinder person in Season 3 due to parents complaining.
* WesternAnimation/CaptainPlanetAndThePlaneteers: Every Planeteer but the cake goes to Ma-Ti, wielder of Heart. One of the reason he got Heart is because of his kindness, he won't tempted to use his powers to, say, control the entire world.
* WesternAnimation/ClassOf3000: While there are multiple kind-hearted individuals, resident techno-genius Philly Phil sticks out. Despite having NoSocialSkills, he's never outright rude, with the amount of times he has gotten actually angry countable on one hand. Perhaps shown best in the Christmas Special; while the other kids wanted something for themselves, Phil gave Atlanta a snowy Christmas.
* WesternAnimation/TheCrampTwins: Even though Soap City is a WorldOfJerkass and Lucien Cramp along with Mr. and Mrs. Cramp are, at best, Jerks With A Heart Of Gold, characters such as Tony Parsons, his dad Seth, Mari Phelps, Dirty Joe and the OneShotCharacter Joanne are all genuinely nice and kind-natured people.
* WesternAnimation/CloneHigh: Abe Lincoln displays this trope most of the time. Mr. Butlertron could also qualify, definitely in contrast to his best friend Scudworth... Wesley.
* WesternAnimation/CourageTheCowardlyDog: The titular dog and Muriel are pretty much the closest you'll ever get to finding any nice characters in the whole show.
* WesternAnimation/DanVs: Chris in stark contrast to Jerkass Dan (and most of the other characters to be honest).
* WesternAnimation/Daria:
** Tom Sloane. He's an incredibly reasonable person, who tries hard to get along with everyone even if they're hostile toward him.
** Kevin and Brittany, despite being popular, are InnocentlyInsensitive at worst (they're likely too dumb to be malicious), and seem to regard Daria as a friend despite her unpopularity.
* WesternAnimation/Doug: Doug is probably the sweetest kid in his town, always being there for his friends, rooting for the underdog, and that's just a few things.
* WesternAnimation/TheDragonPrince:
** Ezran is an AllLovingHero who is kind towards everyone he meets, and is shown multiple times trying to reason with his enemies.
** Azymondias, despite being somewhat stubborn, is a kind dragonling, who shows sympathy towards Soren and cares about those around him, both xadians and humans alike.
** More minor characters like Gren, Ellis, and Queen Sarai also qualify as well, as they are nothing but kind and sympathetic people who are loyal to those they care about.
* WesternAnimation/DragonTales: Cassie is shown to be the most shy and smart of the four main dragons, and sometimes cannot stand up for herself or shrinks if she's upset or embarrassed. However, she is shown to easily be the most kindhearted, loving, considerate and generous of all of the main characters in the show - in many episodes, Cassie can't voice her opinion or speak out because she's scared that she could hurt someone's feelings. In fact, most of the characters on the show are kind people.
* WesternAnimation/DrawnTogether:
** Xander and Foxxy Love are the least-depraved people. In particular, the former is eager to help most people, including his AbhorrentAdmirer Toot Braunstein, while the later has her share of (mostly self-harming) flaws, but usually recognizes them, is ashamed, and makes at least some kind of attempt to correct them. Both are also very open-minded.
** Wooldoor like Xander, mostly wants nothing but to help people out. Unfortunately, this is severely punctuated by incredibly dark statements and behaviors on his part, though it's implied he isn't usually actively malicious and instead is less than sane.
* In WesternAnimation/DuckTales1987, most of the main cast besides Scrooge McDuck are friendly, good-natured people.
** Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby are (mostly) sweet kids. The boys have a pretty close relationship with their uncle's staff and try to help them, and Webby loves basically every living thing, with a number of plots having her befriend complete strangers and bring out the soft sides of others with her kindness.
** Mrs. Beakley is grandmotherly in appearance and personality and attempts to make sure her boss is taken care of as much as the triplets (the only ones she's actually employed to look after).
** Gyro Gearloose is a patient and friendly fellow whose most dangerous aspect is his tendency to invent powerful things that either go awry or get hijacked by Scrooge's enemies. During one episode, the triplets instantly figure out something's wrong because an enemy trying to impersonate him snapped at them.
** Launchpad [=McQuack=] is not without his Berserk Buttons, but for the most part he's relaxed, friendly, and endlessly patient. He acts as an unofficial big brother to the kids and cares about his vitriolic boss very deeply, being willing to do very inconvenient or scary things to help him and make him happy.
* WesternAnimation/EdEddNEddy
** Edd (Double D) is the most well mannered, sensitive, caring, and morally righteous character on the show. Even in later seasons, where pretty much everyone TookALevelInJerkass, he's still portrayed as the TokenGoodTeammate.
** Ed is a KindheartedSimpleton and GentleGiant. He adores his friends, is usually friendly to the other kids, is caring and protective of his little sister, and very rarely gets angry.
** Jimmy, when not being a BitchInSheepsClothing, is generally innocent, sensitive and kindhearted. At times, he can be friendly to the Eds, unless one of them annoys him or injures him.
** Rolf is one of the few kids who's usually on good terms with the Eds. He not only tolerates them, but views them as friends, unless he's scammed or if wolves are brought up, or if they do anything that is an insult to his culture.
** Jonny is usually happy to talk to and help anyone and everyone, including the Eds. He is usually the most tolerant of them and willing to consider the Eds as friends, even more than Rolf.
** Nazz is the only female character that fits this trope. She's generally sweet, outgoing, and kindhearted towards the other kids. She also doesn't seem to mind the Eds, unless they annoy her.
* WesternAnimation/EekTheCat Eek the cat is very friendly and helpful to everyone, despite the fact that he is the show's ButtMonkey, often thanks to his kindness.
* WesternAnimation/ElinorWondersWhy: Elinor is a very sweet, helpful, and kind bunny rabbit. Her friends are all good-hearted kids as well. Actually, everyone on the show is a nice person. There are no jerks or disagreeable characters.
* WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddParents:
** Timmy Turner, despite being jerky a few times (especially in later seasons), is still a nice guy. It's clear in the "Wishology" trilogy that he's The Chosen One not because he's strong, but because he's kind.
** Chip Skylark is an even better example. Because of him being a TeenIdol, Timmy assumes that he must be a conceited jerk, but upon meeting him, Chip turns out to be a very friendly guy who gives him his action figure for free upon finding out that Timmy's birthday is apparently on the same day as his and that everyone else apparently forgot about it (it actually turns out to be a day later at the end) and he is deathly afraid of disappointing his fans.
* WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy:
** Cleveland used to be this, at least until he got his own show. Tim the Mormon bear on WesternAnimation/TheClevelandShow usually plays this role.
** Joe is probably the closest the show has to your standard NiceGuy nowadays, particularly when interacting with the Griffins, although he's too aggressive and driven to fit the role exactly.
** Bruce is even more of a nice guy than Joe, basically being the show's TokenGoodTeammate. He not only shows at least an iota of respect for Meg but also treats her as a genuine friend.
** Meg Griffin, despite her occasional Yandere tendencies, is actually friendly and kind-hearted to everyone, despite them being jerks to her.
** Chris Griffin in the early seasons was harmless. While he's gotten slightly meaner since, he's still nowhere near as bad as the other Griffins (sans Meg), though he's not immune to the JerkassBall either.
* WesternAnimation/FelixTheCat: The Joe Oriolo era of the character is portrayed as this. Unlike the Silent era Felix, this Felix is a clear cut good guy with no significant vices of his own. Most of the time, he's just minding his own business and isn't even driving the plot of his own cartoons, which are sprung into action by Professor and Rock Bottom. He's so nice, that even if Professor spent a whole episode hounding him for his bag, if Professor winds up in a bad situation of his own (such as getting captured by Indians and tied to a giant T-Bone steak in "Felix Out West"), Felix will let bygones be bygones and rescue him, even sharing a steak lunch with him at the end.
* WesternAnimation/FostersHomeForImaginaryFriends
** Mac is very warm-hearted, despite Bloo's continuing antics.
** Wilt who manages to dodge the "ButtMonkey" and "Not funny" aspects of this trope by being SO much of a doormat that it becomes hilarious. Part of his problem is a chronic inability to refuse any request, no matter how ill-advised acceding to it would be. In one episode he finally flips and shouts "NO!" over and over for almost a minute... before Bloo heartlessly makes yet another selfish request and force of habit elicits an amicable "sure!" from Wilt.
* WesternAnimation/Futurama
** Fry is not smart but his disposition is always sweet and sunny and his intentions are always good. He's also incredibly selfless and forgiving, especially towards Leela and Bender.
** Dr. Zoidberg is a very close second. Despite his total ineptness, he has been willing to sacrifice his own happiness for others several times (such as giving up a loving relationship with his girlfriend to give her a sense of smell), has been willing to risk his own life (like saving the Professor from a yeti), and just doing good deeds for others even if they dislike him (when Hermes turned himself into a robot, Zoidberg kept all of the discarded body parts to remake the body). Apparently, he's also the only person on Earth who meets Robot Santa Claus' impossibly high nice standards and that Mom treats with respect.
** Kif Kroker, though snarky at first (though working under someone as moronic and selfish as Zapp Brannigan, it's completely justified), is a very sensitive, decent guy, which becomes more prominent through his relationship with Amy, who is quite the nice gal herself, save for her moments of being inconsiderate.
* WesternAnimation/GoofTroop:
** PJ is honest and ethical to the point where he sometimes forgets his ManipulativeBastard Abusive Father isn't and is unwilling to break the letter of a promise to him (even if he breaks it in spirit), has UndyingLoyalty towards Max even when Max treats him inconsiderately, is very patient and forgiving in regards to his mistreatment, intentional or otherwise most of the time, is a helpful, supportive friend, and manages to have genuine sympathy for people who are significantly better off than he is. The only things keeping him from being an AllLovingHero are his world-weary attitude and occasional rudeness.
** Goofy, who does cause some problems due to his clumsiness and stupidity, is also an extremely patient friend and a Good Father (sometimes to kids other than his own). All Goofy really wants to do is help other people out with their problems, and is willing to forgive a lot of things. He also hardly ever has a bad thing to say about anyone.
** Roxanne from WesternAnimation/AGoofyMovie is a nice girl, as shown when after everyone laughs at Max for falling off the bleachers, and she's the one to show concern for him.
* The eponymous WesternAnimation/HarveyBeaks is easily one of the sweetest and kindest children in all of WesternAnimation. He's always trying to do what's right, helping his friends and other denizens of the forest, and returning the affections of his loving family.
* WesternAnimation/GravityFalls:
** Soos is one of the kindest, most selfless characters in the series. He never has an unkind word for anyone and will go out of his way to be helpful, even if he does have a temdency to mess up.
** While she has her occasional selfish moments, Mabel is a genuinely nice person who tries her best to to be kind even to people who dislike her.
* WesternAnimation/HeyArnold:
** Arnold Shortman. It's his defining character trait. Even when he's not the focus of an episode, he'll usually be the only one who won't make fun of the episode's protagonist.
** Phoebe, Eugene, and Sheena are some of the nicer kids in school.
** Lila is known for being unconditionally polite and sweet, to the point that she comes off as an intentional parody of an AllLovingHero. In the LoveTriangle with Arnold, she serves as a foil to the more abrasive Helga.
** Mr. Hyunh. Compared to other boarders like Ernie and Oskar, he stands out as easily the nicest one.
* WesternAnimation/IElvisRiboldi: Elvis always wants to be helpful, and is a nice guy in general, with barely a spiteful or jerkass mood during the series.
* WesternAnimation/IAmWeasel: IM Weasel. Calling him nice would be an understatement. He was first shown giving a dying boy a kidney transplant. He becomes slightly more egotistical and neurotic in later episodes, though considering how much his kindness often gets him, it's often justified.
* WesternAnimation/JackieChanAdventures: Jackie Chan takes it up to eleven. He is so nice than even his dark side is a JerkWithAHeartOfGold.
* WesternAnimation/JimmyTwoShoes: The titular Jimmy is easily the nicest guy in the aptly-named town of Miseryville. He's always friendly, cheerful, looking on the bright side of life, and wanting to make others happy despite living in what is basically Hell by another name.
* WesternAnimation/JusticeLeague Unlimited:
** Captain Marvel only got one episode, but managed to be a bigger Boy Scout than Superman.
--> Superman: Why are you-- why is everyone defending him?!
--> Batman: We like him. He's... sunny.
** Several minutes of Cap's episode were dedicated to showing how well Cap got along with his teammates and how nice a guy he was to them. This was done specifically to contrast the seven core JLU members, who during that season were shown to hang around only each other, have secret meetings with no input from the rest of the team and not really interact with the 'lesser' heroes. This gave more credence to the WhatTheHellHero speech he gives the big seven, specifically Superman, at the end, regarding their behavior.
** Franchise/TheFlash. He's friendly to everyone, including his enemies, and the fact that his persona is so different from certain other superheroes made its own episode."Flash and Substance" He also fits another trope quite nicely should you try to hurt his friends. Captain Marvel got an episode to show he was nice, Flash has been doing it Pun two series running now, with no signs of ever slowing down.
* WesternAnimation/Kaeloo:
** The titular character herself is kind, friendly and cheerful. She always tries to ensure that her friends are happy and will do almost anything for them. Although this isn't always the case...
** Quack Quack is even nicer than Kaeloo. Unlike her, he almost never gets angry at anyone, not even Jerkass Mr. Cat, who constantly abuses him.
** Quack Quack's girlfriend Eugly, who is very nice to every single person on the show unless they hurt someone she loves.
** Stumpy's girlfriend Ursula. She absolutely loves Stumpy despite how stupid and ugly he is and she turns out to be really polite and friendly to Kaeloo and Mr. Cat as well.
** Kaeloo's cousin Kevin is this, despite being a big, muscular toad like Bad Kaeloo. He feels sorry for her when the rest of their family makes fun of her and he thanks her for the gift she gave to him before she leaves.
* WesternAnimation/KimPossible:
** Kim may have traits of arrogance, vanity and has a slight habit of being bossy, but she mostly matures out of it to become genuinely more caring, tolerant and respectful. Mostly.
** Ron. He's friendly and doesn't hold a grudge. He's more upset that Drakken can't get his name right than all the evil plans he hatches.
** Yori. She is very respectful with everyone she met, the only exception being established villains.
* Franchise/KungFuPanda: Secrets of the Furious Five: Mei Ling is the only one who realizes that Crane, who is working as the underappreciated janitor, not only dreams of joining her academy, but has the talent to excel. As such, she takes it upon herself to convince him to try out for enrollment and she backs him all the way in the attempt.
%% * WesternAnimation/TheLandBeforeTime: Littlefoot, Ducky, Chomper, and Ruby.
* WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes:
** WesternAnimation/PorkyPig, as the resident everyman, is usually far nicer (or at least, less prone to ComedicSociopathy) than most of the rest of the cast.
** WesternAnimation/BugsBunny was originally an abrasive troll and DesignatedHero, but over the years gradually becomes more laid back and one of the nicest character in the series, being usually a friendly guy to anyone who doesn't cause him trouble (even having a FriendlyEnemy attitude towards Daffy, despite the latter's antagonism).
* WesternAnimation/TheLooneyTunesShow:
** Bugs Bunny is snarky but also one of the easiest characters to get along with.
** WesternAnimation/LolaBunny can fit this trope when she's not being a StalkerWithACrush.
** Porky Pig is one of the nicest -- if not the nicest -- characters of the series, to the point of being an ExtremeDoormat.
** WesternAnimation/FoghornLeghorn has gotten the AdaptationalNiceGuy treatment, and here acts as a friendly father figure towards WesternAnimation/DaffyDuck with a positive outlook on life. That being said, don't push him too far, as Daffy learned in "The Foghorn Leghorn Story".
** Pete Puma gets the AdaptationalNiceGuy as well. Here he's a KindheartedSimpleton who never gets angry.
** How nice are Mac and Tosh? They get an entire song ("Be Polite") about how incredibly friendly they are!
* WesternAnimation/TheLoudHouse:
** Leni, while incredibly ditzy, is generally a friendly and gentle girl. When her family members were sick and the ones who remained healthy were fighting against them out of fear of getting sick too, Leni was the only one who was worried about them. The episode "Shop Girl" shows that she tends to be a bit of an ExtremeDoormat thanks to this, but at the same time, her kindness makes others like her.
** Luna is generally an easy-going CoolBigSis to Lincoln.
** Luan is mostly a friendly girl who loves making others laugh. That said, it's best to stay out of her way on the April Fool's Day...
** Lucy, despite her CreepyChild shtick, is shown to be quite polite and empathetic.
** Lana might be extremely messy and rough, but she is shown to be a pretty nice, laid-back girl, especially compared to her twin sister Lola.
** Lincoln Loud's not immune from being thrown the JerkassBall (though to be fair, neither are Leni, Luna, Luan, Lucy and Lana), but he's a generally nice and sweet kid who loves his sisters.
* Literature/LlamaLlama: While he was more of a brat in the earlier books, Llama Llama gradually becomes a nice & friendly toddler as the book series processes, and there is little brattiness left in him in the animated series.

* WesternAnimation/TheMagicRoundabout:
** Brian the snail is usually very cheerful and happy-go-lucky (especially in the French version) despite Dougal's insults.
** Florence is a well-mannered and sweet-natured girl who is always helpful to everyone.
* WesternAnimation/TheMask:
** Stanley Ipkiss is kind and helpful to most people, which honestly makes him a bit of a doormat.
** The Mask is much more abrasive and rude, though still heroic enough to be a JerkWithAHeartOfGold and is sweet, kind, polite and nice towards his friends, the people who are nice to him and even with some of the people who annoy him like Kellaway and Charlie.
** Evelyn like Stanley is kind, sweet, nice and friendly towards people like Stanley though she is a lot more shy than him.
** Eve is much more stronger than The Mask, lustful, a wild party animal and can be unpredictable but she is kind, nice, friendly, polite and sweet towards people like Stanley who she genuinely cares about who she also loves as well.
* WesternAnimation/MiloMurphysLaw: Continuing the trend of Disney cartoon protagonists being this, we have Milo, who's a very polite, cheerful, and friendly kid.
* WesternAnimation/MollyOfDenali: Molly is compassionate and sensitive to the feelings of others, always trying to help in any way she can.
* WesternAnimation/MrBogus: The eponymous character as even in spite of the fact that he is a gremlin and just 3-4 inches tall, he is actually one of the nicest characters ever in most situations
* WesternAnimation/MyLifeAsATeenageRobot: Although she can be a JerkWithAHeartOfGold at times, Jenny is genuinely a kind and sweet girl who just wants to help others.
* WesternAnimation/TheOwlHouse:
** Luz Noceda, despite having a few strange quirks (which actually made her mom try to send her to a camp in the first episode), is very friendly and helpful. Notably, she repeatedly tries to make friends with Amity despite the latter's initial disdain for her ().
** Willow is exceedingly friendly and polite, always ready to help Luz.
* WesternAnimation/PetAlien: While he has self-centered moments and sometimes gets (justifiably) annoyed with the aliens, Tommy is generally a kind-hearted person. He let the aliens stay in his lighthouse with minimal prompting and will help any of them out of whatever trouble they find themselves in.
* WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerb:
** Jeremy Johnson is such a pleasant person, it's hard to believe he has an absolutely insane little sister. He's even dating Candace despite all her glaring flaws and questionable sanity.
** Phineas and Ferb would give you the shirts off their backs if asked. In theory, at least. In practice, they'd be more likely to invent some kind of humongous shirt-making machine to clothe every shirtless person in the Tri-State Area, but the principle's the same.
** Isabella is a sweet and friendly girl who is always willing to help Phineas and Ferb out.
* WesternAnimation/Pocoyo: The Narrator. He's always ready to intervene in all conflicts than arise, he is usually the one that administers the moral of the day, and the characters seem to like him quite a lot - for a disembodied voice he sure has a lot of personality. Granted that the English narrator is Creator/StephenFry, who is well known for having one of the most whimsically cheerful British voices of all time.
* WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls: Bubbles is the sweetest of the girls and would never do anything wrong to a person in need. Of course, this isn't to say that she isn't just as good at fighting villains as Buttercup and Blossom -- and whatever you do, do not treat her like a baby.
* Spear, the caveman protagonist of WesternAnimation/Primal2019, doesn't get to show this tendency often (as EverythingIsTryingToKillYou and being a brutal fighter and survivor is a requirement for survival) but in the first season alone he allowed Fang the tyrannosaur to follow him out of mutual grief, showed remorse for killing an elderly mammoth for her meat and hide and later returned her tusk to her herd as a gesture of respect, and risked his life to save a cave-dwelling ape with a broken leg. Flashback sequences also show he was a good father to his children, teaching them how to hunt and entertaining them with shadow puppets in front of the cave bonfire.
* WesternAnimation/TheRaccoons:
** Bert Raccoon may not be the smartest or Manchild most mature character on the show, but he's still very kind and he cares about his friends.
** Melissa Raccoon is more sensible than Bert, but she's still compassionate and a loving wife to Ralph.
** Mr. Willow, the owner of Willow's General Store, is a FriendlyShopkeeper who's very polite and sensible.
* The Bortronians from WesternAnimation/ReadyJetGo are an entire alien race of nice guys. Jet describes them as being "sweet as cake", and Jet, Carrot, and Celery appear to be a friendly alien family. It's worth noting that Jet himself is an AllLovingHero who is kind to people who aren't kind to him in return.
* WesternAnimation/RegularShow:
** Pops is a cheerful, sensitive CoolOldGuy who loves his friends and holds nothing against Mordecai and Rigby when they get him into trouble, and doesn't like hearing them get yelled at by Benson whether or not they deserve it.
** Skips, stoic as he may be, is a ReasonableAuthorityFigure who helps everyone with their problems and doesn't expect anything in return.
** Eileen is a very warm, friendly girl and is very patient when dealing with Rigby.
** Mordecai is often a slacker like Rigby, but he's otherwise well-intentioned and easygoing.
* WesternAnimation/TheRenAndStimpyShow: Stimpy is pretty much the nicest character on the show, which unfortunately makes him the ButtMonkey.
* WesternAnimation/RickAndMorty
** Despite his flaws, Morty Smith is a good-natured person who has a strong moral compass.
** Jessica treats Morty as a friendly acquaintance and is never anything but pleasant to him. In the Season 4 premiere it is revealed her dream job is to be a hospice worker: she wants to be able to comfort elderly people as they are dying.
** Mr. Poopybutthole is so nice, no one has a single negative memory of him--at least not one where he's the cause of the unpleasantness. After he's shot, he even apologizes for this.
** Trope. Dr. Xenon Bloom tries to be friendly and cheerful, but given his surroundings and expertise he just comes off as unsettling. He's also not a very good employer. He gives out iTunes gift cards as a Holiday bonus -- the smug, conceited bastard.
** Tony is very polite and cooperative with Rick, and by all accounts seems to have been a pleasant man and a loving husband to his late wife. The receptionist at his former job cried over his death, even weeks after quitting.
* WesternAnimation/RockosModernLife:
** Rocko, though he occasionally snaps.
** Dr. Hutchinson is almost always cheerful and friendly to everyone she meets (though she can occasionally get annoyed with Filburt's hypochondria).
* WesternAnimation/RockyAndBullwinkle. Rocky is a boy scout in a squirrel skin while Bullwinkle is a kind-hearted doofus who shovels snow for his Frostbite Falls neighbors and whose mother told him to never lie.
%% * WesternAnimation/RoverDangerfield: Raffles.
* WesternAnimation/RubyGloom:
** Ruby is a PerkyGoth who's friendly to everyone she meets and always looks on the bright side.
** Pretty much all of the main cast in the show, although Poe and Boo Boo are more along the lines of Jerks with Hearts of Gold.
* The titular character of WesternAnimation/Rupert, as he was in the original comic strip ComicStrip/RupertBear, is a very kindhearted individual who will help out anyone in need. It's no mystery why he has so many friends.
* WesternAnimation/RyanDefratesSecretAgent: Deb Defrates is shown to be a kind and caring woman, treats everyone she meets with respect, cares about her friends and family, and is shown to be a good mother to her son. While she is quick to call out her son for his arrogance and mean attitude, it is clear that she wants him to learn to be a better person. She’s also dedicated to her secret agent job and protecting people.
* In Franchise/ScoobyDoo, all five of the main characters -- Fred, Daphne, Shaggy, Scooby and Velma -- are generally nice and likable folks. Now, there are a couple projects where one or more of them get the AdaptationalJerkass treatment (Scooby and Velma in WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooMysteryIncorporated, Fred in WesternAnimation/BeCoolScoobyDoo, the whole gang in the live-action movie), but the majority of the time they're nice.
* WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons:
** Ned Flanders. Flanderization aside, he was easily the kindest person in Springfield and was always willing to help others and do what was good, no matter how he was treated. This line from "Homer Loves Flanders" as Homer defends Ned from a mob of angry churchgoers sums it up best.
-->Homer: How dare you talk about Flanders like that! He's a wonderful, kind, caring man, maybe even more so than me. There have been times where I lost patience with him -- even lashed out at him! But this man has turned every cheek on his body. If everyone here were like Ned Flanders, there'd be no need for Heaven! We'd already be there.
** Marge Simpson and Lisa Simpson, despite their tendency to hold the JerkassBall every now and then, are consistently portrayed as the nicer members of the Simpson family.
** Hugh Jass, a OneSceneWonder who, despite having the worst name in the world (possibly tied with Joey Jo-Jo Junior Shabadoo), is kind enough to not begrudge Bart in the slightest and even wish him better luck next time when he ends up on the end of a RealJokeName.
** Mr. Bergstrom, Lisa's substitute teacher from "Lisa's Substitute", is a very caring and dedicated man who encourages Lisa to be who she is and is genuinely concerned about her relationship with Homer.
** Karl, Homer's secretary from "Simpson and Delilah". He is very encouraging and supportive of Homer, and is the only person at the Power Plant who doesn't care that Homer is bald again, instead giving him a pep talk about how Homer's success didn't come from his hair. He was even willing to take the blame when Homer was about to be fired for insurance fraud.
* WesternAnimation/SinbadLegendOfTheSevenSeas: The only defining characteristic of Proteus. He even [[spoiler: IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy breaks off the engagement with Marina, so she can be with Sinbad.]]
* WesternAnimation/1981 (1981): Most of the smurfs easily qualify. You couldn't ask for a sweeter-natured Smurf than Clumsy Smurf; sometimes he borders on DumbIsGood.
* The title character of WesternAnimation/SofiaTheFirst is a helpful and sweet young girl.
* WesternAnimation/SonicTheHedgehogSatAM:
** Sally, while sometimes irritable and somewhat bossy, is still mostly humble, gentle, and down-to-earth.
%% ** Rotor as well, being the WarmHeartedWalrus of the crew.
** Bunnie Rabbot, in spite of her robotic strength, is probably the sweetest character on the show, being well-mannered and even a CoolBigSis to both Tails and Sally.
** Tails is a mild-mannered, sweet-natured and kind kid with a big heart for everyone he meets (Robotnick and Snively excluded).
* WesternAnimation/SouthPark:
** Butters Stotch. In a world known for Idiotic Sociopaths, Cynical Anti Heroes, and Villain Protagonists, he gets to serve as the most enduring NiceGuy in the series helping and saving the people he cares for and even people who hate him and want him to suffer.
** Stan Marsh, despite his NotSoAboveItAll and KidsAreCruel moments, is actually a friendly, decent guy.
** Clyde, despite being a DirtyKid and his KidsAreCruel moments, is actually a friendly guy. He doesn't even treat any of the kids badly when he's (apparently) discovered to be the best looking guy at his school.
** Wendy. Putting aside her obsession with Stan and a few of her actions associated with it, she is usually very friendly, sympathetic toward others, and often is more than happy to help out Stan and his friends whenever they encounter a problem.
** Kenny McCormick. Beneath the frequent profanity and perverse nature, Kenny is still a true and loyal friend who is willing to (and HAS) die for those he cares about, and is a caring and protective older brother to his sister Karen.
** Satan, of all characters, is usually portrayed this way, since he only punishes sinners because he has to, and he's generally seen having pleasant conversations with them afterward.
** Deconstructed in "WesternAnimation/SouthParkPostCovidTheReturnOfCovid". As an adult, Eric Cartman's become the most affable of the four boys, being respectful and sensible to everyone he meets, and showing genuine devotion towards his wife and his three kids. However, it's clear that by then he's done so many horrible things as a child that it's impossible for some characters (read: Kyle) to see his display of kindness as anything other than a ruse. Notably, he still easily falls back into villainy when under pressure, and he never fully understands Kyle's resentment towards him. Despite this, he finally cements himself as this after his wife's influence triggers a HeelRealization, and he travels to the past to save Kyle's life and help fix the future, at the cost of his happy life. Since this future is erased, however, the Cartman of the revised future never manages to become this in his life, and likely never will.
* Peri from WesternAnimation/Spliced is a cheerful, sweet, optimistic, and kindhearted soul who sees everyone in a positive light. Between him as his Jerkass friend Entree, Peri is always the first to feel remorse whenever their antics go too far or hurt someone. Unfortunately, he sometimes falls into being an ExtremeDoormat, as his optimism and good nature make him easy for Entree or other less moral characters to manipulate for cruel and selfish reasons.
* WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants:
** SpongeBob SquarePants is very friendly, affectionate, and almost absurdly nice to everyone. Most of the time.
** Sandy, despite her SmallNameBigEgo, is actually friendly and civil towards everybody.
** Mrs. Puff is one of the nicest boating teachers, although [=SpongeBob=] does push her to her limits.
** Patrick Star was this in older episodes (newer episodes, not so much). He could be InnocentlyInsensitive, but he was a KindheartedSimpleton who usually meant well even when he did cause problems.
** The anglerfish in "Rock Bottom" that pursues [=Spongebob's=] balloon turns out to have been doing so with the intention of helping [=SpongeBob=] get home.
** Scooter seems to be this out of all the incidentals on the show, as he is the TokenGoodTeammate of them, he is very cheerful & friendly to everyone although he has been shown to be InnocentlyInsensitive at times & has been antagonistic before.
** Both of [=SpongeBob=]'s parents are friendly, understanding people who rarely (if ever) get angry and love [=SpongeBob=] dearly.
** [=SpongeBob=]'s grandma is likely even nicer than her grandson, being an easygoing CoolOldLady with an affectionate disposition.
* WesternAnimation/StarWarsTheBadBatch: Omega embodies this trope throughout the show along with being a CheerfulChild. She is pleasant to strangers, curious and happy to make new friends, also quick to forgive people and is loyal to her brothers to the end.
* WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse:
** Steven Quartz Universe is a CheerfulChild, AllLovingHero, and a FriendToAllLivingThings, he's kindhearted and compassionate to his friends and loves his family.
** His best friend Connie Maheswaran is a polite, friendly girl who is always loyal to Steven.
** Steven's mother Rose Quartz. She loved everyone and everything, no matter how ugly and she was always gentle and kind to others in general.
** Steven's dad Greg Universe. He is an easy-going, friendly and patient guy who loves his son. He is so nice that he didn't even mind when Peridot pushed him off a roof of a barn.
** The Cool Kids Buck Dewey, Jenny and Sour Cream. Despite being cool and popular, they are just a bunch of friendly teens who like hanging out with Steven.
** Sadie. She is always friendly when talking to Steven and is quite patient with Lars.
** Garnet is probably the nicest Crystal Gem after Steven and Rose, despite her flaws. She is always very supportive and protective of Steven and she always tries her best to be a good leader to Pearl and Amethyst.
** All of the Zoomans from "The Zoo" are very friendly and cheerful, welcoming Steven and Greg with open arms.
* WesternAnimation/SupermanTheAnimatedSeries: The title character himself, up to his usual heroic self. We also have Jimmy Olsen, who is cheerful and fiercely loyal to Superman.
* WesternAnimation/TazMania:
** Mr. Thickley, Willy Wombat and Hugh are all quite friendly.
** The Platypus Brothers love to help people, for the sheer joy of applying their well-meaning (if oversightful) intellects to the problem at hand.
* WesternAnimation/TeenTitans2003:
** Starfire is the nicest, kindest member of the team, she's always polite and friendly and is constantly giving her friends hugs and sharing her home world's customs with them. She takes her friendships so seriously in fact that she doesn't like seeing them argue even over something dumb like video games.
** Beast Boy is quite a nice guy who enjoys making his friends happy, despite his jokes and pranks being cringe-worthy at times. He's also usually the first to make his friends feel better when something bad happens to them.
* WesternAnimation/TeenTitansGo: Even though Starfire can't escape the frequent Jerkass Balls in this show, she's still nicer than the other Titans, which makes her the TokenGoodTeammate.
* WesternAnimation/ThomasAndFriends:
** Percy is known for being rather cheeky for the most part, but he's otherwise very friendly and helpful. He often will defend engines getting picked on (such as Edward), and will even help out others who normally don't give him much respect (such as Gordon and James).
** Edward is one of the nicest and most helpful engines, even if he gets constantly disrespected by Gordon and James.
** Toby is an easygoing engine who can be rather timid but a good mentor figure to other engines.
** Thomas himself was a bit of a BrattyHalfPint at the beginning of the series, but since Season 3 (with some exceptions), he is a considerate engine who is willing to help out others in need.
** Sir Topham Hatt is the stern but kind-hearted boss to the engines, even being understanding when the engines' crashes were beyond their control.
* WesternAnimation/ThunderCats2011: Lion-O is a controversial example, who TookALevelInJerkass from time to time. After he pretty much becomes an AllLovingHero and a LoserProtagonist in an ill-fated quest for redemption where he is easily manipulated by Mumm-Ra and his cronies.
* WesternAnimation/TinyToonAdventures:
** Hamton tends to be amiable and is willing to lend hospitality to Plucky and Dizzy in spite of their inconsiderate ways.
** Fifi La Fume is also one of the friendliest characters on the show.
** Buster is based on Creator/ChuckJones' interpretation of WesternAnimation/BugsBunny, and therefore is mostly pretty laid-back and friendly, though messing with him is still ill-advised.
* Franchise/Transformers: This is a required trope for Optimus Prime, no matter which universal stream he belongs to. Except for Shattered Glass Optimus Prime.
* WesternAnimation/TheVentureBros: Despite being a necromancer prone to being a LargeHam, Dr. Orpheus is a loving father, true friend (to Brock Samson and his Triad team-mates at least) and one of the few characters on that show to have a conscience. Although he takes his share of hits and occasional ridicule (like every other character), he usually comes out on top earning at least the respect of his peers. He even states that he only uses the Necromancer label due to titles like Wizard or Sorcerer being too boring. Which is ironic, considering his mentor and teacher is one of the most Jerk Assey characters in the entire show. He might not match the Monarch or Phantom Limb in terms of objective evil, but he manages to outdo both in terms of sheer, petty passive-aggressive meanness. Somehow, Orpheus always manages to take his advice in a way that doesn't make him act like a total ponce, which only helps contribute to his NiceGuy cred.
* Peter Perfect of WesternAnimation/WackyRaces is the only racer who doesn't do anything to impede the other racers. He even lost a race on purpose as he stopped to prevent hitting a cat who had meandered across the finish line.
* WesternAnimation/WanderOverYonder has the titular character, Wander, who is an extreme optimist who wanders throughout the galaxy, helping out anyone who needs it. He is even friendly to galactic villains, especially Lord Hater.
* From Disney's Franchise/WinnieThePooh, we have...
** Winnie the Pooh himself is a sweet and kindhearted bear who pretty much never gets angry.
** His very good friend Piglet as well. Piglet is a soft-spoken and warm-hearted pig who like Pooh never gets angry and, despite his timidness, is always up for helping a friend in need.
** Tigger can be InnocentlyInsensitive (mainly when it comes to Rabbit's garden, which he has a habit of getting messy with his bouncing) and there are a few episodes of WesternAnimation/TheNewAdventuresOfWinnieThePooh where he's thrown the JerkassBall, but he's still extremely friendly, good-hearted and a BigBrotherMentor to Roo.
** Roo himself qualifies as this, being a CheerfulChild who rarely has a problem with any of his friends.
** Eeyore, despite being... well, TheEeyore, is still a gentle and loyal donkey and a good friend.
* WesternAnimation/Wishfart:
** While prone to jealousy, Dez is a friendly and optimistic teenager who really just wants to use his leprechaun wishing powers to make people happy (even if they rarely go as he hoped).
** His love interest Tsuni is such a friendly and easygoing mermaid that she almost never gets mad at Dez for screwing things up and is always quick to forgive him or help him in some way (even giving him a kiss when he asked for one as part of some ridiculous challenge).
* WesternAnimation/WorkItOutWombats: While all the characters are nice, Ellie is probably the nicest character on the show. She's always friendly and smiling, never getting angry. She's an EMT who offers [feel-better lollies, but she also gives Cooldown Hugs to those who art hurt on the inside.
* WesternAnimation/XavierRiddleAndTheSecretMuseum: In "I Am Marie Owens", the gang travels back in time to meet Marie Owens, the first woman police officer of the US. She really stands out in this regard. She doesn't get mad when someone does something wrong and prefers to solve problems in a positive way.
* WesternAnimation/2010: Captain Marvel is the NiceGuy, to the point where most of the cast find him kind of... baffling. Until it comes out that he's actually ten.
