The Trents are a OneManBand fronted by Tropers/JohnnyLurg, although there have been other members at times. Most of The Trents' tracks are acoustic {{Parody}} songs, but recently some "original" material has been written.

!!The Trents provides examples of:

* AllGuysWantCheerleaders: The original song "Green River Reflections" is basically this trope. I don't mean to brag, but when Tropers/JohnnyLurg performed the song at his high school, he was hugged (and perchance kissed) by the entire cheerleading squad (Flunky Note: This really happened, I swears it!)
* CoverVersion: The esoteric gem "Take Me Down" by Music/WeirdAlYankovic, and at least three songs by singer-songwriter Danny Saucedo ("Magic Red Shoes," "The Peace Zone," and "After the Woo Comes the Who") (Flunky Note: Tropers/JohnnyLurg is currently Danny Saucedo's official number-one fan as seen on http://www.dannysaucedo.com/fans.html, the homepage for Saucedo's Lab Rat fan club)
* ShoutOut: The band is named after Trent Lane from ''WesternAnimation/{{Daria}}''. Previously the band was named The Upchucks after [[CasanovaWannabe Charles "Upchuck" Ruttheimer III]] from the same show (Flunky Note: Besides computer smarts, the life of Tropers/JohnnyLurg in no way resembles that of Ruttheimer. Would "Upchuck" get hugged by an entire cheerleading squad? I don't think so.).
