The album was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and earned her four nominations at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards. She released her second studio album, ''Ciara: The Evolution'', in 2006 which spawned the hit singles "Get Up", "Promise", and "Like a Boy". The album reached number one in the US and was certified platinum.께Her third studio album, ''Fantasy Ride'', released in 2009, was considerably less successful than Ciara's first two albums. However, it produced the worldwide top-ten hit "Love Sex Magic" featuring Music/JustinTimberlake, which earned her a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals. The following year, Ciara released her fourth studio album ''Basic Instinct'', which was met with low sales and continued a downward trend in her commercial success. In 2011, Sony shut down her label Creator/JiveRecords and transferred her to Creator/EpicRecords, and released her self-titled fifth studio album, ''Ciara'', in 2013 which was preceded by the US R&B/Hip-Hop top-ten hit "Body Party".께----께!!Discography:* ''Goodies'' (2004)* ''Ciara: The Evolution'' (2006)* ''[[ConceptAlbum Fantasy Ride]]'' (2009)* ''Basic Instinct'' (2010)* ''[[SelfTitledAlbum Ciara]]'' (2013)* ''Jackie'' (2015)* ''Beauty Marks'' (2019)께----께!!!Ciara's works demonstrate the following tropes:께* AllGirlsWantBadBoys: "Can't Leave 'Em Alone"* BadassBoast: "G Is for Girl (A-Z), Girl Gang with Music/KellyRowland"* BreakupSong: "I'm Out", "My Love", "Never Ever", "Sorry"* ClusterFBomb: "Jackie"* CoverVersion: She sang "[[Music/TheRollingStones Paint It Black]]" for the 2015 film ''Film/TheLastWitchHunter''.* DancingIsSeriousBusiness: There's a reason she's been compared to Music/JanetJackson.* DreamTeam:** With Music/JustinTimberlake on "Love Sex Magic".** With Music/MissyElliott on "1, 2 Step", "Lose Control", "Work", "That's How I'm Feelin" and "Level Up (Remix)".** With Music/NickiMinaj on "I'm Out" and "Livin' It Up".** With {{Music/Usher}} on "Turn It Up".** With Music/KellyRowland on "Girl Gang"* FollowYourHeart: "Livin' It Up"* HopelessSuitor: The subject of "Goodies".* InDaClub: "Bang It Up", "Get Up", "Gimmie Dat", "I Proceed", "Oh", "That's Right", "Turn It Up", "Work", "1, 2 Step"* IntercourseWithYou: A common theme of her songs -- a ''partial'' list includes "Body Party", "Got Me Good", "Heavy Rotation", "Keep Dancin' on Me", "Love Sex Magic", "Ride", "Sophomore", "Dance Like We're Making Love", "Freak Me", "Kiss and Tell"... and on and on and on.* MsFanservice: In most of her music videos, especially "Love Sex Magic", "Work", "Ride", "Body Party" and "Dance Like We're Making Love".* ShesGotLegs* ShoutOut: She does one to a [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LFLPQXlh_Y J'Adore commercial]] featuring Creator/CharlizeTheron in the "Dance Like We're Making Love" music video.* SillyLoveSongs: "And I", "Can't Leave 'Em Alone", "Overdose", "Promise", "Super Turnt Up", "Greatest Love", "Na Na"* SpiritualSuccessor: Many see her as one to Music/JanetJackson and {{Music/Aaliyah}}.* StatuesqueStunner: She's 5'10".* ThreeMinutesOfWrithing: Most of her videography is this.* TheUnfairSex: "Like a Boy".* UrbanLegend: There was a persistent rumor early in her career that she was actually intersex (or transgender depending on who you asked).* AWildRapperAppears: Chamillionaire on "Get Up".께** Jeezy on "Never Ever".** Music/NickiMinaj on "Livin' It Up and I'm Out".** Ciara herself on "Super Turnt Up".** {{Music/Pitbull}} and Music/MissyElliott on "That's How I'm Feelin"** Music/{{Macklemore}} on "I Love Myself"** Music/{{Tekno}} on "Freak Me"** Music/{{50 Cent}} on "Can't Leav 'm Alone"** {{Music/Rick Ross}} on "Boy Outta Here"
