Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao (born March 3, 1997), known professionally as Camila Cabello, is a Cuban-American singer and songwriter.

Cabello made her musical debut in the second season of ''Series/TheXFactor'' USA with the GirlGroup Music/FifthHarmony. She departed from the group in December 2016 after hits such as [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBHQbu5rbdQ "Worth It"]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GL9JoH4Sws "Work From Home"]]. Before leaving, she had successful collaborations with rapper Music/MachineGunKelly ([[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cauU2IpFyA "Bad Things"]]) and with singer Music/ShawnMendes ([[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngORmvyvAaI "I Know What You Did Last Summer"]]).

Following her departure, Cabello released a single called "Crying in the Club", but found true solo success in a later single, "Music/{{Havana|2017}}" (featuring Young Thug). The single went #1 in the U.K. and in the U.S., while also going platinum in both countries, and its music video won Video of the Year at the UsefulNotes/{{MTV Video Music Award}}s.

She made her film debut as the title character in ''Film/Cinderella2021''.

!!If you only knew the bad tropes I like:

* AlliterativeName: ('''K'''arla) '''C'''amila '''C'''abello.
* AllGirlsWantBadBoys: The song "My Oh My" from her album Romance.
* AsHerself: Camila, along with the rest of Music/FifthHarmony, cameoed on Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse as a voice actress for her Barbie.
* AWildRapperAppears: "Havana" features Music/YoungThug, "OMG" features Quavo, "My Oh My" features Music/DaBaby, with the remix also adding Gunna.
* BadassBoast:
** Basically the entirety of "OMG".
--->''You cannot believe it when we come through''\
''Cause all I, all I, all I do is win''\
''Yeah, I'm cut like a diamond, I'm cold''
** "Inside Out" also has examples of this.
--->''You're on the right side''\
''You're with the best of the best, yeah''\
''I'm talking all time''\
''I'm talking worldwide, worldwide''\
''Don't you waste some other girl's time''\
''[='=]Cause once you're with my love''\
''There will never be enough, never be enough''
* BathtubScene: In the music video for "Crying in the Club", Camila can be seen in a bathtub in multiple scenes.
* BedroomAdulteryScene: In the beginning of the video for "Havana", the heroine of a telenovela finds her boyfriend in bed with her best friend... and her maid. Then her real boyfriend steps out of the closet and explains that the guy in the bed is his twin brother.
* BreakTheCutie: "I Have Questions" has Camila struggling to understand why someone she had trusted betrayed her, she later stated that the song was written during a time when she was "completely broken" The pain is evident in her voice and on her face at the beginning of the "Crying in the Club" music video. "Something's Gotta Give" and "Consequences" can also fall under this trope.
* ConceptVideo: "Havana" is a 6-minute video, following 'Karla' in a sort-of short film, complete with characters like [[CoolBigSis Bella]], [[WholesomeCrossdresser Abuelita]], and a love interest.
** The video for "South of the Border," her collaboration with Music/EdSheeran and Music/CardiB, is "A Frivolous Spy Film" (to quote the video itself) in the style of James Bond, with Camila playing a FemmeFatale assassin called "The Mariposa."
* CuteClumsyGirl: Camila definitely qualifies as this and TheKlutz for her frequent falling, [[https://images-production.global.ssl.fastly.net/uploads/photos/file/64032/camila-cabello-drops-food-meal.jpg?auto=compress&crop=top&fit=clip&h=500&q=55&w=698 dropping things]], and [[https://images-production.global.ssl.fastly.net/uploads/photos/file/64033/camila-cabello-bathroom-clumsy.gif?auto=compress&crop=top&fit=clip&h=500&q=55&w=698 breaking things]]. Examples of her falling off of chairs are [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9L-04yJElQ here]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajRGPyNncFA here]], [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEW0c-W92Rs here]], and... there are too many so [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oT-i23BqLas here's]] a compilation.
* FanCommunityNickname: Camilizers.
* {{Fangirl}}: For Music/OneDirection, Music/TaylorSwift, Music/EdSheeran and others. In [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4aa9YfycR8 this]] interview where she's asked who she is obsessed with, the girls of Fifth Harmony burst into laughter and she responds "I love a lot of people."
* InDaClub: The music video for "Crying in the Club" has multiple shots of Camila in the titular club.
* IntercourseWithYou: 'Into It', basically.
-->''I see a king-sized bed in the corner, we should get into it''
* JustFriends: Contrary to what both of their fans think, for years Camila and Music/ShawnMendes had always insisted they were just this. And then very much subverted this.
* ListSong: "I Have Questions". In the first chorus, Camila lists the questions she has.
-->''Number one, tell me who you think you are''\
''Number two, why would you try and play me for a fool?''\
''Number three, why weren't you, who you swore that you would be?''
* LocationSong: "Havana", the lead single off of her first solo album, shares its name with her birthplace in Havana, Cuba. She sings in the song's chorus that her heart is in Havana, showing her love for her hometown.
* LoveIsADrug: "Never Be The Same" has this as a concept.
-->''Feeling all the highs''\
''Just like nicotine, heroin, morphine''\
''Just one hit of you, I knew I'll never ever, ever be the same''\
''Off of one touch I could overdose''
* LyricVideo: "I Have Questions" has her sole lyric video to date, which can be watched [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSdPkBKHqac here]].
* MiddleNameBasis: She goes exclusively by her middle name rather than her birth name, Karla.
* NiceGirl: She's known as a friendly person who is very kind to her fans, and is active in philantropy.
* OnlyOneName: Averted, even though she wants to just go by 'Camila', she can't because of a band with the same name.
* SelfTitledAlbum: Her 2018 album title changed from "The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving" into "[[{{OnlyOneName}} Camila]]".
* PrecisionFStrike: On 2019's ''Romance'', she dropped the f bomb in the song "This Love".
--> ''So fuck this love, calling my name Get out of my veins If you need your space then just walk away You know how to fuck me up then make it okay''
* RadioFriendliness: "Never Be The Same" had a [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXiZu1O1Srk radio edit version]] released on the same day. The video has since been removed from her official [[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCk0wwaFCIkxwSfi6gpRqQUw Vevo]] but can still be listened to on Spotify. It replaces the names of hard drugs - namely, 'heroin, morphine' - to the more radio-friendly 'rushin' me, touchin' me'.
* SingerSongwriter: Camila is listed as a writer in all of the songs in 'Camila'. She also wrote lyrics for 'Bad Things' and 'I Know What You Did Last Summer'.
