* Sexy pizza rat.An item put in the machine belonging to Takako, based on a real-life sexy pizza rat costume based off the real-life meme Pizza Rat (a viral video showing a rat in the New York subway dragging a pizza down the stairs), got out of the machine in Joon-Young's hands, whose mun made a post with art about him recieving the item. Ever since then, it's become a meme.
* Suzaku destroyed _.Ever since Suzaku destroyed the Dungeon in the Prologue, members of the clans have destroyed so many things in the castle it's turned into a meme.
* "What's a fursona, Kris?"When asked this question, Kris proceeded to give an oversimplified answer to Shinobu T. and causing her to misunderstand what a fursona really is. Then the misinformation was passed down to Shino when he asked, followed by Outa when he asked, and it's only going to get worse from here. Kris has no one to blame but himself.
** Becomes both an AscendedMeme and HilariousInHindsight during the Chapter 3 Event, If there was ever any doubt before, this certainly proves that he's a furry.
* Reiko killed Kris by falling on him.Upon one of the group's trips to the Labyrinth, Reiko fell on Kris and he disappeared from a trial.
** "You really have to stop accidentally killing me."spoiler:Reiko has had a hand in Kris' death while in the labyrinths on two separate occasions: once when she fell off a ladder and onto him, and again when he was on fire and she doused him with tea - unintentionally ending his life with a fatal 'poke'.
* Brewing TeaAn extraordinarily disastrous Labyrinth run where five out of eight students died - four of them not to any traditional threat, but rather to a series of accidents while trying to make a single cup of tea: Holy and Miyu fell into a well and died, Kris set himself on fire trying to turn off the stove, and Mitsuo was killed by an ill-timed CriticalHit when Airi attacked him over his dismissive reaction. And after all that, the perfectly-brewed kettle of tea was used to extinguish the fire, and the survivors failed to placate the NPC the tea was intended for.
** Krispy KrisKris takes his death surprisingly calmly and even jokes about it later.
* Tsukuyomi is Powered By Tears™.Tsukuyomi cries a lot.
* : D / Knife MaskUpon a trip to the Labyrinth, an NPC called Maskwell was discovered, who became a meme after attempts to remove him from the characters' faces failed.
* The Labyrinth is a Great TimeThe Labyrinth is not a great time, associated with hard trials and character death.
** Fun ZoneA spoiler-preserving euphemism for a Labyrinth variant that not every person (IC and OOC) had seen yet. Early reports suggested that it somehow manages to be even more dangerous and traumatic than the other areas, with a high failure rate to match.
* Holy and the Minion Hand ™A bad roll resulted in HOLY getting a minion puppet stuck to his hand.
* Arenji the owl.Arenji, pronounced RNG, is an NPC in the game. Their player-suggested name rocketed them to meme status.
* Youkai are furries of the wizard world/youkai/wizard relationsIn the 1600s, in canon, there was conflict between youkai and wizards that was phrased as "youkai-wizard relations" which prompted a meme. There are also the Japanese equivalent of animagi, wizards who turn into animals, kemono which is the real-life Japanese equivalent of furries.
* 20 kappa uprisingsKappa uprisings are common in wizarding history, and due to the sheer and specific number of kappa uprisings, it's become a meme.
* Shirtless Lads [ft. Painting Lesbian Miyu]A recurring group made up of Joon-young, Mitsuo, HOLY, Shino, and Miyu, in which at least one of the four male characters seems to lose their shirts each time they're together. Miyu has been proven to be immune to the sight of any of them without a top.
* Lesbian bulliesThe many lesbians in the class have a tendency to either taunt, embarrass, or even injure Kris, despite most of them being his friends. This sometimes extends to other boys that they're friends with.
* Protective T-PosingDuring the Majo Matsuri, Joonyoung t-posed in front of the scavenger hunt box to allow Miyu to turn him into a minion for a quest. While the action got a laugh out of the Genbu Muns, Miyu and HOLY t-posed later on in front of the same box to hide some classmates from view.
* Shiba is a twunkAn actual discussion had between Mi-ke, Shinobu K., and Shiba. Out of character nobody could agree on the model's classification.
* Shiba suplexing KrisA joke in the chat about Shiba suplexing Kris whenever he puts Mi-ke in danger. After hitting Mi-ke by mistake during the Sports Festival Relay, Shiba made good on this joke.
* PencilKris's real weapons were confiscated at the beginning of the game, and he substitutes them with pencils stolen from the infirmary. Once his true talent is revealed, he begins making earnest threats with them, even outright mentioning Franchise/JohnWick. Pencils have displaced knives as his signature weapon.

* Am I HOT now, Mr. Krabs? In reference to Kris. Becomes HilariousInHindsight after he sets himself on fire later on.
* The various Mod Faces of despair. The various faces the mods make, associated with unfortunate consequences.
** :3
** :3c
** :V
** 0D
* “Are You Sure About That?”Something often said before chaos ensues.
* RNG ShenanigansDue to the heavy emphasis on RNG elements, they can often result in hilarity.
* Mitsuo is MAHOU’s Komaeda.Komaeda, a bad boy-type character from the Franchise/Danganronpa canon, is compared to Mitsuo.
* Kris Tenshi is MAHOU’s Onceler. The Onceler, a bad boy-type character from Literature/TheLorax, is compared to Kris.
* Takako “Sans Undertale” ImaiSans, a jokester skeleton character from VideoGame/Undertale, is compared to Takako.
* [Takako does something] “I’m gay now.”Takako Imai is described as incredibly conventionally attractive.
* MAHOU Fandom DiscourseAfter the topic of how the MAHOU cast would be treated if it was a mainstream piece of media with a large fandom was jokingly suggested in the OOC chat, jokes about what discourse that would attract came.
* Let Seiji Ohara rest. The ever-suffering Seiji who dealt with grief and dying, prompts this statement, to which Mod Cam refuses.
* Werewolf TsukuyomiTsukuyomi's association with the moon and furries prompted this joke, which blossomed into a meme.
* Mitsou PeeingA joke sprung between Mitsuo and Joonyoung's muns after Joon proclaimed he needed to pee and left, grossing Mitsuo out. Joon's mun drew this fake Instagram post starring: Joonyoung in the corner of the frame, flashing a peace sign; Mitsuo side-eyeing the camera with disgust; and HOLY making a cameo in the background being blissfully unaware.
* Booby McBoobersonA group of the muns were playing a custom Cards Against Humanity deck while rping semi-ic within the site's chatbox. One of the muns (Shiba's Mun) wasn't informed of this an entered the game as 'Booby'. Hilarity ensued as Booby was fully rp'd as a character, eventually referring to Reiko as his daughter when she asked who he was. Booby is now an honorary member of the cast in the muns' hearts, and Reiko's mun made it canon that Mr.Eigawa (the Police Chief of Osaka) earned that nickname in college - much to his daughter's dismay.
* Tiddies Out For OuryuuWhen looking at Mitsuo's newest sprites (as of Chapter 2), the OOC chat began remarking about how Mitsuo leaves enough top buttons open to expose part of his chest. Combined with the fact that a lot of the cast has removed/opened/had their shirts torn to some degree during thread shenanigans; this has spawned the joke that the male cast will default to removing their shirts when faced with danger.
* Genbu is the Cryptid ClanDespite their clan traits requiring them to be some mixture of knowledgeable, cunning, and having a desire to learn from the world around them - all of the Genbu students have been in ridiculous scenarios either as a result of their own actions or just poor RNG. After a discussion about the kids possibly booby-trapping their own dorm for protection, the Muns have made several jokes that Genbu is secretly the cryptid clan - despite them trying to act as the true neutrals of the class.
** Genbu is immortalAlmost all of the Genbu kids have gotten into situations outside of the labyrinths where they easily could have died, but were spared death by some fortunate chance.
* Incel Holy and Chad TenshiA joke image created by Kris' mun that explains the differences between the supposed 'involuntary celibate' HOLY and Kris, culminating in the punchline that because he's part of Clan Byakko (who has a tiger motif) and is dating Mi-Ke the Feline Behaviourist, Kris "still gets more pussy by default". It's a cursed image.
** The events of Chapter 4 have resulted in "The Incel Tenshi and The Chad Holy" gaining traction:
* Haru had to do it to emThe Seiryuu founder was a major NPC during a Labyrinth trip that covered the aftermath of , with Haru being especially cold over Kunie's actions and wishing to bring them to justice. Non-canon art was later drawn of them doing the You Know I Had To Do It To Em pose with Kunie's broken corpse in the background. Later drawings have since depicted other dead characters behind Haru.
