TheFashionista has an UnlimitedWardrobe, and headwear is no different. Brides have veils and gentlemen have derbies, but her? She has the sunhat.

Sunhats are often used as fashion statements and are often accompanied by other accessories -- belts, ribbons, earrings, or even a colour-coded outfit. In many cases, she'll often adjust her hat, being concerned about how it makes her look as a ProperLady. Many an {{Ojou}} dons this sort of hat. It's also common amongst similarly rich and bored housewives.

This trope can also overlap with RichBitch, UpperClassTwit, and the tropes of FashionAndModelingTropes.

Essentially AlwaysFemale, though there are rare male examples. It could be thrown in WholesomeCrossdresser.

The other term for this is a "[[InsistentTerminology picture hat]]".
