'''''The Daring Do Adventure Collection''''' is an officially licensed set of three books, later sold as separate titles, set in the ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'' universe written by A.K. Yearling, but ghostwritten by G.M. Berrow, author of previous chapter books based on the TV series. The books serve as a {{Defictionalization}} of the TV series' [[ShowWithinAShow book series]] starring the titular adventurous pegasus, JustForFun/DaringDo.

* NoodleIncident: Any of Daring's adventures that hadn't been brought up in any other work is definitely this.

->"''Three missing relics. Two mysterious stallions. One fearless pegasus.''"

After returning from a previous adventure, Daring Do finds a mysterious stranger at her house asking her to help the ponies of Marapore before leaving behind an encyclopedia (a rare one missing from Daring Do's personal collection). She quickly realizes that the Flankara Relics, three powerful artifacts that protect the Tricorner Villages from the volcano of Mt. Vehoovius has been stolen. With the volcano set to erupt in a few days, can Daring Do capture the thief and retrieve the artifacts before it's too late?
----
* ContinuityNod:
** Daring's wing [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS2E16ReadItAndWeep still acts up]].
** Daring works alone except in rare circumstances - like [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS4E4DaringDont the incident with the Rings of Scorcherro]].
** Daring describes the events Rainbow mentioned happening in book four.
** The [[EncyclopediaExposita Encyclopedia Equestria]] has an entry on the Elements of Harmony.
** [[Literature/TwilightSparkleAndTheCrystalHeartSpell A.B. Ravenhoof]] is mentioned.
* [[EncyclopediaExposita Encyclopedia Equestria]]: From which Daring learns of the Flankara Relics.
* FallenHero: Mojo, known to villagers as the Stalwart Stallion of Neighples, was the pony that gifted the three villages with Flankara Relics to protect them from Mount Vehoovius. [[spoiler:However, he was also once part of Ahuizotl's gang and when he tried to leave, Ahuizotl responded by leaving him with a giant scar on his flank that clawed out his cutie mark. This led to him turning on the villages and stealing the relics to heal his flank.]]
* FreudianExcuse: Mojo losing his cutie mark to Ahuizotl was harsh, but dooming the villages to an active volcano to get his cutie mark back wasn't exactly the right way to deal with it, especially when the villagers consider him a hero.
* GoodScarsEvilScars: Mojo's scarred cutie mark is his [[FreudianExcuse reason for his evil plot]].
* HoldYourHippogriffs: "Who's to neigh?" instead of "Who's to know?".
* KickTheDog: [[spoiler:When Mojo tried to quit being a henchpony for Ahuizotl, Ahuizotl rewarded him with a giant gash on his flank that completely covered his cutie mark. For a character that is normally portrayed rather comically, this comes off as surprisingly ruthless for Ahuizotl.]]
* MeaningfulName: As is usual for [[Franchise/MyLittlePony this franchise]], too many to count. Some examples include Steel Anchor the boatswain and a cook named Greasy Spoon.
* TheNavigator: Daring is skilled at knowing where she needs to go, hence her compass rose cutie mark.
* PhotographicMemory: Daring claims to have one for cutie marks.
* RedRightHand: Mojo is easy to identify by his horribly scarred cutie mark.

[[folder: Daring Do and the Eternal Flower]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/daring_do_and_the_eternal_flower_cover.jpg]]

->"''Nothing lasts forever...or does it?''"

Upon learning about the Eternal Flower, a legendary flower capable of granting immortality to those who drink its nectar, Daring Do goes to a banquet held by the Equestrian Botanical Society. She quickly learns, however, that she's not the only one searching for it. Her uncle Gallant True, the pony who influenced her life as an adventurer, has been searching for it for years and has gone missing, as is Ahuizotl, who is eager to use the flower to gain immortality for himself. With the chance to stop Ahuizotl and see her uncle once more, this is one adventure Daring Do cannot pass up.
----
* ActionGirl: Rosy Thorn is just as athletic as Daring Do, being able to keep up with her in a storm and help her fight off Ahuizotl.
* BigBadDuumvirate: Ahuizotl is once again racing against Daring Do in search of treasure, but it turns out he's not alone in the endeavor. [[spoiler: Thaddeus is not only working together with Ahuizotl but is searching for the flower for himself]].
* CoolOldGuy: Daring Do's eccentric uncle, Gallant True. Despite being older and less athletic, he is shown to be a lot more clever than her already very clever niece.
* DragonRider: Daring calls upon a dragon she befriended on a previous adventure named Knuckerbocker who takes her and Gallant to the Isle of Scaly.
* KeepTheReward: With Ahuizotl [[spoiler: shrunken]] and [[spoiler: Thaddeus becoming a balloon]], does Gallant True take the Eternal Flower? [[spoiler: Nope. He didn't want the immortality it would grant him and after seeing how greedy Thaddeus had become in trying to take the Eternal Flower, he felt it was much safer for the Eternal Flower to remain hidden. Plus, he felt he had gotten his reward already -- plants that can regenerate instantly and time with his niece.]]
* LastNameBasis: Daring Do only refer to Rosy Thorn as "Thorn".
* TheMole: [[spoiler: Rosy Thorn, who works behind Caballeron, Ahuizotl, and Daring's back for her brother Thaddeus Vine. In Daring's case, though, she never truly trusted her.]]
* RaidersOfTheLostParody: The plot is pretty much a G-rated ''Film/IndianaJonesAndTheLastCrusade''.
* RealWomenNeverWearDresses: Daring Do is not very happy wearing a dress to the dinner party and gets peeved when Cabelleron compliments her upon seeing her in her dress.

->"''If a treasure cannot be seen...does it even exist?''"

Daring Do visits Professor A.B. Ravenhoof, an ex-adventurer and close friend, to give to him a legendary artifact that she retrieved from a previous adventure. During a conversation with Ravenhoof, Daring learns about the city of Cirrostrata, a legendary city that exists amongst the clouds but has never been seen by anypony with the exception of a close colleague of his. The naturally curious Daring Do sets out at once to find this pony and see this city for herself.
----
* AncientOrderOfProtectors: The Magical Counsel of the Ancients, a secret society of ponies tasked with keeping powerful artifacts safe. [[spoiler: Daring Do becomes a candidate for the Counsel and is tasked with recovering the Twenty-Two Sacred.]]
** They might also be this combined with ArtifactCollectionAgency as well.
* CoversAlwaysLie: Despite being depicted on the cover, Dr. Caballeron does not show up in the book at all.
* FloatingContinent[=/=]HiddenElfVillage: The hidden city of Cirrostrata, home to a hidden group of pegasi that have long floppy ears and three marks under one of their eyes.
* InvisibleToNormals: The reason why Cirrostrata was impossible to find. Non-Cirrostratans could only see Cirrostrata using a special lens. Otherwise, all anypony would see is a bunch of clouds.
* SequelHook: [[spoiler: The book ends with Daring Do taking up a new quest to secure the Sacred Twenty-Two enchanted artifacts.]]
