''Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure'' has a huge cast throughout the course of its run. There are some characters that are beloved, and there are some who are just [[HateSink meant to be loathed by everyone]].
----
* ''[[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventurePhantomBlood Phantom Blood]]'': Dio's abusive drunkard of a father, Dario Brando, is no slouch in this department. He constantly abused his wife (to whom he had no compassion for at all) during their marriage until she died from exhaustion (even wanting to sell her dress after she died to get money), mistreated Dio throughout his entire youth, and overall, showcased smug, toxic, and dominating behavior over his entire family. He then proceeds to milk George Joestar's kindness by forcing Dio to become his foster son in the hopes of retaining their family fortune. It's arguable whether or not Dio would have become the sadistic megalomaniac he is now if it weren't for his horrible father's upbringing ([[LikeFatherLikeSon hinting that Dio may have inherited that from him anyway]]), but it's all thanks to Dario that Dio and Jonathan even met each other in the first place. He is easily one of the most loathsome and unlikable characters in the series which makes his fatal poisoning at the hands of his own son one of the few murders committed by Dio that can ''actually'' be considered justifiable.

* ''[[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureBattleTendency Battle Tendency]]'':
** The racist {{Dirty Cop}}s bullying Smokey Brown. Despite their brief appearance, they easily come off as loathsome pieces of shit. They not only physically throttle Smokey for stealing Joseph's wallet, but they also try and extort money from him [[{{Hypocrite}} through the wallet he took]]. When Joseph shows up to defend Smokey and try to peacefully resolve the situation by saying that the wallet was a gift, one of them [[SmugSnake smugly walks up to him]] to [[BullyingADragon wipe a booger on Joseph's face]]. Happily, they both proceed to get an extremely well-deserved ass-kicking from Joseph.
** The unnamed gangster with brass knuckles, an early antagonist, that Joseph and his family come across in a fancy restaurant. He is vulgar, sloppy and throws racial slurs at Smokey and mocks the restaurant for allowing African-American customers. His terrible behavior eventually comes to bite him in the ass when ''Erina'' of all people allows Joseph to fight him. When he's defeated, the other restaurant patrons applaud Joseph for putting the bastard in his place.

* ''[[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureStardustCrusaders Stardust Crusaders]]'':
** Gray Fly is a mass murdering old man who likes to murder people by the hundreds not only for the sake of money but also out of pure joy and sadism while making his murders look like freak accidents. He once caused a plane crash in England that killed over 300 people and he liked to rip the tongues out from his victims and loot from them afterwards. Even after death, he tried to cause another plane crash by killing the pilots just to get rid of the Joestar group, only for his plan to be thwarted by Joseph. His death at the hands of Kakoyin through stand destruction is cathartic to watch.
** Rubber Soul is an irritatingly smug and narcissistic twit who taunts and belittles Jotaro during their entire fight, boasting on how his superior his Stand is. And then there's a moment where he [[KickTheDog brutally murders a dog]] [[ForTheEvulz for no reason at all other than just to be a dick]]. It's satisfying to watch Jotaro, having had enough of him, beat his oh-so-prized handsome face into a misshapen, bloody pulp.
** J. Geil is a SerialRapist who rapes and murders teenage girls, with Polnareff's little sister being one of his previous victims. He's also a DirtyCoward who's willing to use a group of innocent people as human shields just to save his own skin. No one really sheds a tear when Polnareff turns him into a HumanPincushion and leaves his skewered body impaled on a wrought-iron fence. Except for his mother, Enya: who takes his death ''very'' badly, not only knowing full well the crimes he committed, but ''supporting'' him despite them. J. Geil is even more loathsome in the OVA; where he, once at the mercy of the heroes, [[PlayingTheVictimCard immediately starts crying and begging for mercy]] despite being both a SerialKiller and [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil rapist,]] which Polnareff [[{{Hypocrite}} makes sure to disgustedly point out]] before [[PayEvilUntoEvil slaughtering him.]]
--->'''J. Geil''': (''sobbing and trying to crawl away, crippled'') I-I was wrong! I'll do whatever you say, so p-please forgive me!\
'''Polnareff''': (''tenses up'') My sister... [[YouKilledMyFather my younger sister]] must have said the same thing to ''you''. [[ArmorPiercingResponse But you killed her anyway]]. [[SuddenlyShouting YOU KILLED HER]] [[ForTheEvulz FOR YOUR OWN SICK PLEASURE!]]
** Probably the most notable example of the part would be Steely Dan, who would probably give Rubber Soul a run for his money in the SmugSnake department. He is introduced [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking scamming Joseph with overpriced doner kebabs]]. Once he finds out who Jotaro and his friends are, he holds Joseph hostage using the pain receptor synchronization power of his stand, The Lovers, to [[TheBully bully]] Jotaro to do his every whim; such as using him as a human bridge and framing him for robbery. Once Joseph is freed from his control, he attempts to [[WouldHurtAChild use an unaware young girl as a hostage]] by way of The Lovers. When this fails, [[VillainousBreakdown Dan collapses]] into a [[InelegantBlubbering sobbing]], [[AintTooProudToBeg grovelling heap]] and [[DirtyCoward immediately tries to bribe Jotaro so that he will leave him alone]] once Kakyoin stops him from doing so. As a result, his NoHoldsBarredBeatdown is absolutely satisfying to watch.
--->'''Steely Dan''': (''immediately drops to his knees'') Please, I'm begging you, forgive me!\
'''Jotaro''': Ask for forgiveness from Enya[[note]]Enyaba in the English dub[[/note]], [[AlasPoorVillain the woman you killed]]. (''draws a finger across the brim of his hat'') But as for me, [[TranquilFury I never had the]] ''[[TranquilFury slightest]]'' [[ThisIsUnforgivable intention of forgiving you.]]\
'''Steely Dan''': (''shaking and sobbing with fear'') D-DIO paid me to cause this madness... ''[[VillainsWantMercy YOU CAN HAVE IT ALL!]]''\
'''Jotaro''': Good grief... I know this is blatantly obvious, but you really ''are'' a piece of work. (''readies Star Platinum'') What you owe me... '''CAN NEVER BE PAID BACK WITH MONEY! ''OOOORAAAAA!'''''\
(''[[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown Star Platinum pummels Steely Dan to paste over at least 20 seconds, before smashing him head-first through a brick wall]]'')
** Alessi is ''definitely'' one of the most unlikable members of the Egypt 9 Glory Gods faced by Jotaro and crew after their arrival in Egypt, rivaled only by Telence D'Arby who's introduced later. While there are several moments where his petty and obnoxious {{Jerkass}}ery is PlayedForLaughs and his [[WildTake wild expressiveness]] and [[LaughablyEvil sheer incompetence are somewhat entertaining to watch]], he is still quite the despicable scumbag, which is given for a [[DirtyCoward cowardly]] [[WouldHurtAChild child abuser]] with ''[[MemeticMolester incredibly]]'' [[MemeticMolester paedophilic undertones.]] He easily rivals Steely Dan when it comes to being a reprehensible piece of work: which is further emphasized when he [[CurbStompBattle gets his ass handed to him]] by a freaking ''seven-year old'' Jotaro and '''''three-year old''''' Polnareff!
** Telence T. D'Arby/D'Arby the Younger, unlike his [[NobleDemon much more noble and charming brother]], is a [[PsychopathicManchild childish, disgusting psychopath]]; [[LivingDollCollector trapping the soul of anybody who is defeated by him in a video game into a doll]] while [[AndIMustScream keeping them fully aware of their situation and powerless to do anything about it]]. He is especially creepy when he's shown changing their clothes and suggestively touching them ([[FridgeHorror especially taking his time with both the female dolls]] [[DepravedBisexual and Kakyoin]], establishing him as [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil a sex offender]] as well), and takes [[LovesTheSoundOfScreaming a perverse level of pleasure in his victims' descent into despair and insanity]]. He also uses his Stand to give himself an unfair advantage in games to ensure his victory, while claiming that he [[ExactWords isn't cheating.]] While he is just a minor villain, it's not hard to see why he is one of the ones that the heroes show the most revulsion and contempt for.
--->'''Kakyoin''': [[FauxAffablyEvil You give the impression of a gentleman... but you are the worst kind of madman]]. ''[[YouMonster You make me sick]]''.
** You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who's a fan of Vanilla Ice; an utterly sadistic and fanatical [[spoiler:HeroKiller]] who [[spoiler:murders Avdol]] and then brutally [[spoiler:[[KickTheDog stomps Iggy to death]] -- [[PortalCut tearing him in half at the waist beforehand]] in the OVA, so essentially [[DesecratingTheDead desecrating his body while he was already dead]] -- ]] for a very, ''[[DisproportionateRetribution very]]'' [[EvilIsPetty petty reason]]. [[spoiler:Namely, making him accidentally destroy an image of DIO that Iggy created out of sand.]]
*** His OVA incarnation is even worse. At least in the manga and anime, Ice shows VillainRespect to Avdol, and his strength and VillainousValor are respectable even if his personality isn't. The OVA Ice is both an AdaptationalWimp and an AdaptationalJerkass, [[spoiler:[[SpeakIllOfTheDead mocking Avdol]] for his HeroicSacrifice and only being able to kill him in the first place because DIO had already wounded him. His literal KickTheDog moment is much more loathsome as well. Not only does he [[PortalCut do it much more violently]], but it wasn't because [[BlindObedience Iggy had forced him to destroy an image of DIO]]; the reason being that ''Iggy saved Polnareff from being killed by him''.]]

* ''[[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureDiamondIsUnbreakable Diamond is Unbreakable]]'':
** Anjuro "Angelo" Katagiri, despite being a StarterVillain, quickly establishes himself as one of the darkest and most repulsive villains in the franchise so far. He's a murderer and a SerialRapist, but actually could be ''even worse'' as we get to see just how brutal he can get when he graphically murders a dog (and later, its owner) by ''biting the dog's face off''. So much so that even Jotaro is unnerved by his wanton cruelty, which included raping and murdering three teenage boys. His [[AndIMustScream ultimate punishment]] at the hands of Josuke was well-deserved.
** Toshikazu Hazamada, one of the minor villains, is a perverted and creepy loner who fantasizes about killing and raping his classmates. He even used his Stand to gouge his friend's eye out [[DisproportionateRetribution simply over a disagreement over a manga]]. Even the eccentric Rohan has nothing but contempt for him, finding him poor writing material that no one would care for.

* ''[[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureGoldenWind Golden Wind]]'':
** Giorno's mother is a piece of work. She was noticeably distant and neglectful towards her son, leaving him alone in her apartment so that she could party. When asked about leaving Giorno, still a little child in his crib alone in her apartment, [[LackOfEmpathy she replies]] that [[ItsAllAboutMe she's not going to waste away her youth raising him]]. On top of that, while her husband and her son's bullies were intimidated by the unnamed gangster into treating Giorno decently, [[KarmaHoudini she seems to have completely gotten away with neglecting her son]].
** Giorno's stepfather is arguably even worse than his mother, since he was actively physically abusive to Giorno when his wife wasn't watching, implying that she wouldn't have stood for that sort of treatment. His behavior also results in Giorno having trust issues and constantly scrutinizing others' expressions, due to how two-faced his stepfather was.
** Even in a cast full of ruthless murderers and gangsters, Cioccolata could very well be the vilest and most depraved of the lot. He's a MadDoctor who gets kicks from torturing his patients in gratuitous fashion and even gaslights elderly patients to make them commit suicide out of despair. And on top of it, he's an egotistical and narcissistic asshole who thinks he's above everyone else and only cares about his own morbid view of life. His soul is so evil and sadistic that his Stand, Green Day, has the power to create a mold that makes people rot to death. [[HatedByAll Everyone in-universe]], [[spoiler:''[[EvenEvilHasStandards even Diavolo]]'']], except his assistant Secco, are absolutely disgusted by him and consider him the lowest of the low. He then goes on a cataclysmic killing spree while bragging how watching death and suffering of others is the true source of happiness in life. It's only fitting that he's subjected to one of the most violent and drawn-out (and ''definitely'' deserving) punishments in the series by far; a ''seven page/40 second'' NoHoldsBarredBeatdown at the hands of Giorno, who finishes said beating by punching him [[SquashedFlat into the back of a garbage truck that crushes him inside,]] then takes the resulting bloody mess away to be incinerated.
** Cioccolata's assistant, Secco, isn't much better than he is. While Secco has less direct involvement in much of the carnage the two cause, he takes an equal amount of perverse pleasure in killing and filming the deaths of others. He is the only one to approve of the mad doctor's torture of others, only beginning to act on his own after Cioccolatta is killed by Giorno (and this clearly is not out of fear of Cioccolata, as Secco's Stand makes him immune to Cioccolata's attacks.) After that, Secco [[SpeakIllOfTheDead admits he never really cared about Cioccolata]], only sticking around to take advantage of his strengths and get fed treats. In addition, he's an unpleasantly narcissistic SmugSnake, and his painful death by bleeding out from having his throat sliced open by Bucciarati is well-deserved.
** Despite being only a character in a flashback, Narancia's "friend" is one. He framed Narancia for assaulting an old lady, which was already bad enough. But he goes even further by spreading rumors that Narancia's eye infection in prison was inherited from his mother, which causes everyone to avoid him, for no reason other than he could. But the worst part of it all? He [[KarmaHoudini gets no onscreen comeuppance for all the crap he put Narancia through]].
** Also a flashback only character, in both the anime and ''Literature/PurpleHazeFeedback'', is Fugo's university professor. Depending on which version of Fugo's backstory, he either mocked Fugo and berated him for letting his grandmother's death affect his grades (''Feedback''), or he was repeatedly harassing or even ''molesting'' Fugo, who was only ''thirteen'' at the time, even trying to pressure him into giving him sexual favors in exchange for telling him what's in the next exam (anime). Both ways end with Fugo triggered into beating him senseless with an encyclopedia. Worse yet, much like Narancia's "friend", [[KarmaHoudini the professor gets no seen comeuppance for his actions (aside from Fugo's beatdown)]] and Fugo is arrested and disowned by his parents as a result.

* ''[[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureStoneOcean Stone Ocean]]'':
** Despite only being in the story briefly, Jolyne's corrupt lawyer and the judge who sentences her qualify. After Jolyne is arrested, Johngalli A. bribes her lawyer and the judge, so her lawyer convinces her to plead guilty in order to get a reduced sentence, and the judge sentences her to fifteen years in prison anyway. It's little wonder that one of the first things that Jolyne does with her stand is [[PayEvilUntoEvil strangle the lawyer.]] [[KarmaHoudini Unfortunately, the judge never receives comeuppance onscreen.]]
*** Jolyne's boyfriend Romeo is a [[SubvertedTrope subversion.]] Initially, after hitting a man with his car (which Johngalli A. set up), Romeo pins the blame for the hit-and-run on her. However, when she sees him again, he feels incredible guilty, and lies to the police to lead them away from Jolyne. [[LaserGuidedKarma Jolyne and Ermes use Kiss to damage his tongue anyway.]]
** Sports Maxx quite effectively ruined Ermes' life for good by murdering her sister Gloria, the only one who came closest to being her actual mother, and driving their father morbidly ill in the process. He has no remorse either; blaming Gloria for her own death and smugly rubbing it in Ermes' face before attempting to devour her alive. Maxx is so despicable he gets [[spoiler: killed by Ermes - ''twice,'' in fact. Worse yet, his other actions indirectly cause the end of the first continuity of the series, enabling Pucci to enact his master plan of resetting the universe and slaughter the majority of the main cast, Ermes included, effectively screwing the poor woman over even in death]].
** Even among the [[PoliceBrutality brutal, assholish prison guards]] in Green Dolphin Street Prison, Viviano Westwood and Sonny Likir are easily among the worst of them. They're both brass, rude and sadistic men who antagonize and brutalize the inmates and frequently make bets with each other on which of the inmates reaches their breaking point next. Fittingly, they're stationed in solitary confinement. However, they end up getting theirs not long after Jolyne is sent to solitary - [[HatePlague Survivor]] causes Westwood to beat Sonny within an inch of his life and gruesomely twist his leg inwards, and Jolyne beats down Westwood himself, sending him careening down several flights of stairs in their bout.
** [[EvilOldFolks Kenzō]] stands out as particularly repulsive even in a prison setting full of rapists, murderers and lowlifes. He's the [[ReligionOfEvil former guru of a religious sect]] who manipulated his followers into committing mass suicide ForTheEvulz. On top of it all, Kenzō is an egomaniac with a god complex who wants to be worshipped by everyone and sadistically tortures F.F while laughing at their pain. [[EvenEvilHasStandards According to him, even child molesters can't stand him]].
** The "private detective" hired by Pucci in order to force [[spoiler:Pucci's sister Perla and Weather Report, who is actually their brother,]] to break up. However, it turns out that the "detective" was part of the KKK, and he and his cronies proceed to attack the couple and lynch [[spoiler:Weather]] due to him being of African heritage. Not only that, they also [[spoiler:killed Weather's mother and burned down Weather's home. This led to Perla [[DrivenToSuicide committing suicide out of grief]] thinking Weather was dead, and in turn Pucci and Weather's StartOfDarkness.]] It was extremely satisfying to see [[spoiler:Weather get his revenge on the racist detective in the most gruesome and painful way possible]].

* ''[[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureSteelBallRun Steel Ball Run]]'':
** Benjamin Boom-Boom is lacking in any redeeming qualities. The man can barely speak a sentence without [[AbusiveParents insulting his sons]], even when one of said sons, Andre, suffers [[TorsoWithAView an extremely painful injury]], he simply calls Andre a crybaby and asks him to move so he can shoot the heroes through the hole in Andre's stomach.
** Much like his main universe counterpart, Diego's father Dario is a real nasty piece of work. He takes the main Dario's [[{{Jerkass}} Jerkassery]] up to eleven, lacking even the original Dario's one PetTheDog moment, when he outright tries to ''drown'' Diego when he was a baby simply to avoid having another mouth to feed and then abandons his lover when she changes her mind and tries to rescue Diego. And unlike the original Dario who gets his just desserts, this one gets off scot-free as Diego never got the chance to get back at his father.
** Diego and his mother's savior shows his nastier side later on. When Diego's mother rejects his advances — not to mention that he felt entitled to her because he saved her and her son —, he responds by putting holes in the cups they used to get food, leaving them unable to eat and forcing Diego's mother to put the hot food in her hands in order to make sure Diego would be fed. This led in the long run to her death. While Diego swears revenge on both him and [[AccompliceByInaction the others who let this tragedy happen]], he never gets the chance.
** The unnamed soldier from Ringo Roadagain's past attacks the then [[WouldHurtAChild ill 10-year old Ringo]]'s house, slaughters Ringo's mother and two younger sisters and attempts to rape him. When Ringo rejects his advances, he threatens to [[ForcedToWatch force him to watch]] as he dismembers his family and feeds their corpses to pigs. Described as a "vapid cow" and depicted as nothing short of loathsome and disgusting, his death at Ringo's hands when the latter fatally shoots him is nothing short of well-deserved.
** While he only appears in one flashback, the husband of Wekapipo's sister stands out as being particularly awful. He beats his wife black and blue ForTheEvulz, causing her to go blind in one eye, and then refuses to divorce her when Wekapipo begs him to. And then he challenges him to a duel for "shaming" him. Even after Wekapipo wins the duel and kills him, he still manages to ruin Wekapipo's life, as his father pulls several strings to get Wekapipo banished from Naples. Wekapipo never ends up seeing his sister again after that.
** Despite only appearing as the FinalBoss of the part, [[spoiler:Alternate!Diego Brando is one as well. He lacks the redeeming and sympathetic qualities of his main counterpart, instead being more in line with Dio's cruel and vindictive personality while also lacking his charisma and badassery. In his battle with Johnny he uses his own fangirls as {{Human Shield}}s, and having the audacity to [[NeverMyFault blame Johnny]] when one of them gets killed in the process. And like Dio did with Erina in Part 1, he tries to force himself on a Pendleton, namely Lucy. But he goes farther than Dio's TakeThatKiss to Erina, attempting to rape Lucy (who's 14). [[TheDogBitesBack Only this time]], Lucy is the one who gets the honor of finishing Alternate Diego off.]]

* ''[[Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventureJoJolion JoJolion]]'': The unnamed bully who kept viciously tormenting Jobin when he was a child, frequently beating him and mocking him because of his memory loss issues. He is sexually depraved and abhorrent in every way a minor can be, lusting after Jobin's mom Kaato and forcing Jobin to take pictures of her while in shower. When a pair of panties stolen by the boy scout are eventually discovered, he covers Jobin in gasoline and threatens to burn him if he doesn't burn the house of the one who ratted on him. He even goes as far as to threaten Kaato with rape and murder which eventually trigger Jobin's stand ability, rendering the bastard unconscious. Worse yet, [[spoiler: Kaato takes the blame and murders the boy scout which sends her to prison for 15 years]].

* ''[[Manga/JojosBizarreAdventureTheJOJOLands The JoJoLands]]'':
** The two unnamed {{Dirty Cop}}s who pulled over Jodio and Dragona in the first chapter qualify. They are both depicted as corrupt cops who like to molest teens [[DepravedBisexual of either gender]] as one of the cops sexually harassed and tried to rape Dragona while the other not only approved of it but tried to prevent Jodio from intervening to stop it. What is even more depraved is that these cops went as far as to put their hands in Dragona’s crotch during their harassment. They get their comeuppance when Jodio introduces his stand, November Rain to pummel then to a pulp with its specialized raindrops before beating them up with his fists.
** The unnamed bully who kept terrorizing Dragona when they were a child also qualifies. Initially appearing to be a NiceGirl, she [[JerkWithAHeartOfJerk quickly reveals her vicious personality]] when she [[DisproportionateRetribution violently smacks Dragona in the face for accidentally hitting her with a volleyball]], giving them a nosebleed. Later in a school bus, she and her cronies gang up on Dragona, making derogatory comments about their body and threatening to sexually assault them, using an eyelash curler to clamp on one of their nipples to "draw a bra". Even when Jodio comes to intervene, the girl mocks him and calls him a creepy child. She eventually gets retribution when Jodio uses [[DeadlyDroplets November Rain]] to [[EyeScream pierce one of her eyelids]], and the reader likely won't feel much sympathy for her when, the next day, Jodio sets the bus on fire with her and her friends trapped inside it, having her end up hospitalized with major degree burns.
