11	* The first episode gets a lot of mileage out of how WrongGenreSavvy Subaru is, showing him making a fool of himself repeatedly. In particular, he thinks that a "cute girl" is the one who summoned him. After what we learn later on in the series, he probably wishes he was wrong on that one.
12	* Subaru picks a fight with some thugs only to find that he has bitten off more than he can chew when they ignore his punches and surround him. Felt walks up, and he automatically assumes this beauty is the one who summoned him and is coming to save him. It is borderline comical when she completely ignores and goes past them, then the thugs beat him up. Then Emilla shows up and does the same thing, even if she does save him.
13	* There's an image where Subaru has his head in a human sized Puck's lap. The look on Subaru's face is priceless. Puck even makes his voice higher to troll him.
14	* In episode 3, Subaru realizes that, without his help, Emilla would have found the loot house ''earlier''. The fact that he's thinking this after such a tense scene is a great tension breaker.

18	* After finishing her work at the village, Ram goes to see what Subaru's been up to the whole time. Turns out he was teaching his morning exercises to the villagers. Ram's reaction is priceless.

His extremely excited way of talk, his [[LargeHam hammy]] tendencies and his over-the-top expressions and movements are very amusing to see. The fact that his [[Creator/YoshitsuguMatsuoka seiyuu]] seems to have a lot of fun while voicing him doesn't helps this at all.
30	* During the preparations for the battle against the Whale in Episode 19, Subaru and Petrasche the ground dragon get off to a good start. Subaru calls it "love at first sight," to which Felix warns he's making Rem pout. Rem protests she's not - [[IResembleThatRemark and promptly exchanges a]] LightningGlare with her latest rival.
31	* Episode 20: Subaru asks if he has the Witch's scent after trying to speak of his Return by Death to use himself as bait:

45	* Episode 41: Subaru is very distraught to learn that Garfiel is only 13 (and will turn 14 soon), meaning that, in Subaru's words, an eighth grader gave him so much trouble.
46	** On top of all this, he feels very humiliated that Garfiel was the first person who saw all the inspiring graffiti that Subaru had written all over the walls within the graveyard's walls to encourage Emilia.
47	* Episode 50: After the whole business is over and everyone is safe, Emilia drops a bomb on Subaru...she's pregnant! ... [[MissConception or so she believes]]. Apparently Puck told her that a girl can get pregnant by kissing a boy on the lips.
48	** After Roswaal's HeelFaceTurn, everyone takes turns giving him a [[ArmorPiercingSlap punch in the face]], resulting in him laying his head on Ram's lap.
49	** Garfiel is apparently forced to wear a tuxedo, which he seems to struggle having it on even while the knight christening ceremony is under way.
50	*** Later on, he's so close to drinking wine despite being underage, forcing Frederica to snatch the drink away from him. In the credits, he's annoyed by a drunk Otto leaning onto him.

54	* One of the Manga sidestories has Subaru agonizing over the lack of his favorite condiment, mayonnaise. This wouldn't be so funny, except Subaru is more or less going through withdrawal symptoms without it. We then get a cooking with Rem story where she tries to make a mayo substitute from Subaru's vague instructions and ultimately, she succeeds!
55	** This is dialed up a notch when by the end of the story, she ''filled an entire bath with mayo'', thinking it may satisfy Subaru, who had just learned the hard way what she did.
