* [[RunningGag Running Gags]]:
** Interrupting tense moments to bring up amusing, adorable, or otherwise irrelevant tidbits.
** Being unable to use his usual intro due to the "last [[AccidentalPun time]]" portion, and instead being forced to use synonyms thereof.
** Chugga constantly failing at the level-up increment roulette. [[note]] Especially funny if you were watching [[Funny/{{Lucahjin}} Lucahjin's]] Let's Play of Bowser's Inside Story which ended just before the start of this LP where she had the same issue.[[/note]]
*** An offshoot is him being surprisingly good at only one roulette; the Stache roulette for the babies.
** The overbearing tutorial sequences cause Chugga a fair deal of frustration.
** Once again, we get tales of how Chugga used to be dreadful at ''this'' game, too.
** Chugga's inability to get much more than 30 points on the item-block relay minigames, and doing better when talking about negative things.
** Chugga always finding multiple Bros. Attack items in item blocks right after buying a few from shops.
** Much like ''VideoGame/{{Okami}}'' having [[RunningGag "beautiful art direction"]], here, he can't stop praising the backgrounds.
** Chugga being back-attacked (entering a battle by an enemy first-strike) when he feels he shouldn't've been.
** Mario & Luigi: [[ItMakesSenseInContext Throwing babies at life's problems.]]
** Chugga's campaigning for more minigames, and his joy with Thwomp Volcano for having several.
** His repeated referral to his interpretation of the babies upgrading their Stache stat as the babies growing facial hair.
** Chugga's complete confusion over what Stuffwell is saying and whether they are made up words or not.
* Episode 1:
** The title of the first episode is, because Emile apparently wanted to start the puns quickly, "It's About Time!"
** Emile refers to the FunnyBackgroundEvent of Baby Luigi and Baby Peach in the corner during the tutorial battle with Baby Bowser as Baby Luigi entertaining Peach with charades. "By the way, the answer is 'constipation'."
** Once again, Emile pokes fun at the fake Italian gibberish that the Bros speak in.
--> '''Emile''': ''(roughly repeating, as Mario)'' "A beep-a do-datototo doo-doo." ''(as Luigi)'' "Oh-kay." ''(snorts)'' Glad [Luigi] agreed with "doo-doo". [[ToiletHumour That's something I can get behind.]]
** Breaking a tense scene by pointing out how Luigi's legs are wiggling like jello.
** Fans who watched him play ''Superstar Saga'' may remember his anecdote about how, as a kid, he went through the entire game only ever leveling up HP because he didn't realize you could switch the bonus wheel to other stats. '''He did that for the entirety of this game too.'''
** The first news crawl promises "details at 11" regarding Toadsworth's worry. Chugga's response? "By that hour, they'll probably be covering his funeral."
** Criticizing Near Hollijolli Village for being an obvious name, then apologizing for [[CallBack bringing up uncreative names]] in [[VideoGame/LuigisMansionDarkMoon another game where Luigi is playable.]]
* Episode 2:
** At the beginning of the episode, he mentions having to find a new intro, since his long-standing intro uses "time" several... er, times, and he considers it too punny [[EveryoneHasStandards even by]] ''[[EveryoneHasStandards his]]'' [[EveryoneHasStandards standards]].
** Calling Hollijolli Village "Christmas is Cancelled: The City".
** He interrupts a tense moment to point out how cute Baby Bowser's castle is.
* Episode 3:
** He follows up on his intro joke from Episode 2 by awkwardly saying "last...interval".
** He points out that even Baby Luigi enjoys Luigi suffering.
** His awkward "well, bye" when the adult Mario Bros. appear to be walking off without the babies in the scene where the four team up for the first time.
* Episode 4:
** Might not be considered funny to some, but Emile relates an anecdote from when he was a kid: his parents gave him a wallet to "teach him the value of money", but in actuality only did it because they knew he had money and needed to know where he'd be putting it. So they'd take the money from his wallet when he wasn't looking, and Emile never caught on until they told him about it years later.
** Instead of "sadistic", he ends up declaring he is very ''statistic'' towards Boom Guys who lose their cannons.
* Episode 5:
** His new replacement for "last time" is "last period".
** Lamenting that Boo Guys aren't called [[{{Pun}} "Dead Guys"]], which would be more on-theme for the Shy Guy names and be funnier.
* Episode 6:
** His attempt at the intro is "last stretch" this...[[GotMeDoingIt time]] around.
** Ranting about how one of the drained Toads in the forest is set off the path in such a way that finding the spot at which you can speak to him is very difficult, which carries on for the rest of the area, where he tries talking to every Toad he can, to no avail.
** When seeing some amusing signs in the forest, Chugga discusses how even the ''travel advisors'' in the Mushroom Kingdom are better...before cracking up when he sees a travel-advisory sign suggesting that tourists [[CrossesTheLineTwice throw babies to things they can't reach]] and revoking his earlier judgement.
-->'''Chugga''': Just remember, the travel advisory people tell you: "If you can't reach something, throw a baby at it!"
** In one controllable-platform segment, he moves Mario onto the platform after hitting a block on a ledge, but not far enough for Luigi to be on the platform as well. When he turns on the platform again, Luigi slides off the ledge to follow Mario, but ends up falling into the spikes beneath.
** Joking that the Bros. are abandoning the babies during the long platform-control section. When a recall pipe warps them over, he then claims he averted child neglect, and muses on whether it counts if it's your younger self.
** He points out that he found literally only ''two'' submissions for speedruns of the game, both being from years ago, and recommends people go for it if they want an easy world record. What makes this funnier though is, by ''sheer coincidence'', the game actually saw a NewbieBoom in its speedrunning community around the time Chugga started his series, so by the time the video was uploaded his comment was already wrong.
* Episode 7:
** This intro attempt is "last occasion".
** The very title of the episode being in Leetspeak, which makes sense given to the boss he fights spoke in that language. As another added bonus in Chugga's usual humor, the title[[note]] 1337 8347 463N75 [[/note]] translates to "[[VideoGame/EliteBeatAgents Leet Beat Agents]]".
** Chugga has two more stories about how he was the worst ''Mario and Luigi'' player when he was young. Firstly, with the bean spots, he never realized that they were a game mechanic playing the previous game, and even when learning about them in this game, didn't register it until discovering on his own much later, and secondly, his aforementioned failure to understand level-up upgrades Game-Overed him [[EpicFail during a]] ''[[EpicFail tutorial fight]]''.
** When Stuffwell interjects with another tutorial, saying "Sorry to disturb you!", Chugga immediately says "You'd ''better'' be sorry for disturbing me..."
** Chugga fails every time to get a first strike on the Spiny Shroopas.
** [[ItMakesSenseInContext "I always wanted to become a booger...and now I have."]]
* Episode 8:
** Opening with "last juncture".
** Describing the Toad souls powering the Vim Factory as [[{{Pun}} literal]] NightmareFuel.
** Musing on the babies upgrading the Stache stat, wondering if that means the babies are growing facial hair.
** His interpretation of the Swiggler-fuel cutscene:[[note]]where the Shroobs in the [=UFOs=] are rather enthusiastic (with heart-eyes) by the fuel supply that's...''digested'' by the Swiggler[[/note]] "They are aroused by his ass juices!"
* Episode 9:
** This recap begins with "last spell".
** While trying to bring up the theft of the Cobalt Star Shards, he has trouble locating the inventory menu to demonstrate.
** The return of [[CallBack "Bloody show, gov'ner!"]] when trying to emulate the Toadsworths' praise for the Bros.
** Baby Mario levels up, and Chugga sees that the Speed stat roulette has no "1" values this time around. He comments that he'll probably manage to get a 1 anyway, and, while it's not a 1, he gets the lowest possible upgrade with two points.
** Since he goes into the reopened Time Holes to collect beans now available to him in earlier areas, the episode is perfectly titled: "[[{{Pun}} Bean There, Done That]]".
** Relating yet another reason he sucked at the game when he was younger: he didn't realize the item shops restocked with different wares.
* Episode 10:
** The intro uses "last moment" this time.
** After Chugga lets the viewers listen to the game's rendition of the Yoshi's Island theme, he mentioned that this piece didn't have much competition since then. Cue the [[TakeThat Yoshi's New Island theme.]]
--> Am I wrong?
** One of the Yoshis says "D'oh". Chugga: [[CallBack "I missed."]]
** Chugga's [[{{Squee}} reaction]] to Luigi [[SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments giving his younger self a piece of a Yoshi cookie.]]
** Chugga mentions that he's not sure what to believe regarding [[PerfectlyCromulentWord Stuffwell's convoluted vocabulary]], as fans have been sending him proof of some of the words being real, but he's fairly certain others aren't, causing him to doubt everything Stuffwell says.
* Episode 11:
** Harkening back with "last date".
** Chugga misses a bean spot, so editing-Chuggaa puts a "Noooo!" onscreen, much like he did for missed items in ''Dark Moon'' and ''Splatoon''. ''[[EpicFail Then it happens again]]'', with a "Double Nooo!" put onscreen.
** Pointing out a [[VisualInnuendo phallic broken Yoshi statue]], apologizing for ruining the area for everybody. When he asks the audience what it reminds them of, the babies receive a mushroom item drop, and he comments that [[CrossesTheLineTwice a mushroom isn't necessarily a wrong answer]].
** Chugga continuing to wonder about the ethics of mistreating your past self.
** Pointing out that even though Baby Mario spitting water as a way to move it is gross, it's better than the water leaving his body [[ToiletHumor the other way]].
** Entering a battle with three treasure Pidgits in the group...of which two flee before he can kill them.
* Episode 12
** Finally reaching "last episode" in his string of alternative intro words.
** Pointing out that one of the alien letters spoken by the RC Shroober looks like [[VisualInnuendo something else]], and saying that it's enough to raise the ESRB rating for the game. The next time he sees one, he refers to it as a "lewd talker".
** Chugga says seeing the Yoob's digestive tract being widened by the Stone Chomp hurts him, but when one of the Yoshis says "Let's roll!", he states that the pun immediately healed him.
** He becomes alarmed when he gets a +6 on the roulette and doesn't immediately celebrate his unusual luck, saying that his arrogance means he doesn't deserve a good roll on Luigi's roll directly after...but he gets another 6 anyway.
* Episode 13
** The very fact that Chugga [[http://imgur.com/a/5tV4K accidentally published this episode a day earlier]] (albeit taken down very quickly).
** When discussing Baby Mario leveling up with a +5 upgrade roll, he means to say he knows "how to grow 'em"...but ends up saying he knows "how to ''cook'' 'em". Then he jokes that [[BlackComedy cooking babies is his proudest talent.]]
** "I feel like I'm talking about ''VideoGame/Splatoon1'', though, so I guess I'll say something about [[CallBack Damage Up.]]"
** His interrupted attempts to voice his enjoyment of the Yoob concept. The first time, it's an involved puzzle sequence. But ''then''...
--> '''Chugga:''' Yoob is *gets interrupted by Dry Bones battle, cuts to end*...the words you've been waiting two minutes to hear! *sings presentation fanfare* I was saying that Yoob is- [[EpicFail *gets interrupted by a Bully encounter*]] -an '''enemy-filled [[BigStupidDooDooHead doo-doo head]]!'''
** His intro attempt today? "Last occasion" again.
** Pointing out how [[SoundtrackDissonance inappropriately upbeat]] the item-get jingle is for when Mario receives Toadbert's drawing.
** When he begins feeling like it's dragging on, he wonders what he should do late in the Sunnycide battle to finish it off quickest, [[{{Irony}} only for the battle to be won by a jump attack as he says it.]] His reaction is priceless.
** Mentioning that because Hollijolli Village and Toadwood Forest are never seen restored to happiness, Yoshi's Island's resolution is very satisfying.
** [[ItMakesSenseInContext "Yoob wants you to go into his hole. Yes, he does."]]
* Episode 14:
** Chugga's not completely out of synonyms; he uses "last point".
** Clarifying that Mario and Luigi's new move is the "Bros. Ball", ''not'' the "[[CallBack Bro Balls]]".
** Going back to Yoshi's Island to collect the beans he missed before in the cliffs...''[[EpicFail only to miss a completely different one]]'' [[{{Irony}} in the preceding village]], with an appropriate "TRIPLE NOOOOO" put onscreen. Fortunately, he realizes after recording and goes back in to record himself collecting the last of the beans there, saving himself some embarrassment.
*** A comment actually points out that he missed ''another'' bean in a different spot.[[note]]At the 7:49 mark, for the curious.[[/note]]
** Expressing confusion on the Yoob's digestive layout upon re-entry, only to realise it looks different because the Bros. were, as he puts it, [[UnusualEuphemism "renovating"]].
** Again getting a +6 for each Bro leveling up, but making a point to be grateful and happy about it this time around.
** Saying that the babies almost surpassing the Bros. in level is actually sort of depressing, interpreting the situation as [[BlackComedy the Bros. atrophying with age]].
** Chugga points out that his better numbers on the roulette in the past few episodes are because he's pressing the stop randomly rather than trying to get the timing right.
--> '''Chugga:''' Not trying is the key to success! Always be sure to employ that advice in school or something like that.
* Episode 15
** Opening with "last stage".
** Wandering indecisively around a Goomba before finally jumping on it, citing that the urge to kill is too strong.
** Saying that paraphrasing Fawful is a [[FelonyMisdemeanor crime against humanity.]]
** Another way he failed at the game was never knowing about Fawful's Bean and Badge because he thought since the babies can't drill through metal that he would need a powered-up drill move to go to it.
*** And he only found out about it YEARS later when he came across a message board where people were debating the merits of the game. Someone brought up how good Fawful's character was, Chugga asked the board where Fawful was in the game, and they told him about the shop.
* Episode 16:
** Using "last age" in his intro.
** Almost saying that the last episode consisted of him exploring the "castles in Princess Peach's sewers" rather than the opposite.
** Chugga being seized by the urge to jump down an open balcony, only to be surprised and disappointed when he finds an invisible wall instead.
** Chugga's [[{{Squee}} shrieking enthusiasm]] for [[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic Gritzy Desert's music.]]
---> '''Chugga:''' '''''ANDOHMYGODTHISMUSICJUSTTAKEALISTEN!!!'''''
** Chugga getting distracted during the Kylie Koopa cutscene due to the [[FunnyBackgroundEvent Shroob chase]] happening behind the conversation.
** [[CallBack The return]] of Chugga calling Mario's language "Italianese" because it's [[AsLongAsItSoundsForeign not real Italian.]]
** Chugga gets in [[OnceDoneNeverForgotten the inevitable reference]], but subtly this time:
--->'''Chugga''': ''(deciding a stat to boost for Luigi's level-up)'' Luigi is moving last in a lot of these fights, he was going slower than the enemies we were fighting before... and it's kinda bad if you're [[LetsPlay/ProtonJon moving slower than a Pokey]], so we're gonna up that right there.
** Chugga's failure to see a certain attack the Shrooba Divers can perform, even using cancelled-flee maneuvers in one battle to waste turns. It ends up taking so long that he kills the enemy with counterattacks alone before seeing the attack he wanted to see.
* Episode 17:
** The obscurity of his synonyms is increasing- here, he uses "last epoch".
** Chugga feeling tied-down by the babies (whose necessity for puzzles doesn't allow him to travel more quickly around the desert with the Bros. Ball) and guessing that that's what being a parent is like.
** The subtle *squeak* noise Chugga makes.
** Pointing out that some of the cacti have an [[VisualInnuendo unfortunate]] resemblance to the broken Yoshi statues.
** Continuing the LetsPlay/ProtonJon references, Chugga finds out a Pokey is faster than he thought it was.
** Referring to the derailed train as an obligatory crashed vehicle, given the inexplicable car crash in Toadwood Forest before it.
** Stating his hopes that the Secret Jeans item he found in a pipe isn't exclusive to the babies or it would be illegal. Yes, only the babies can wear them.
** Him wondering why enemies don't attack Mario and Luigi while they're being chased by the Chain Chomp and thinks the enemies are being polite and allowing Mario and Luigi to get out of their situation before attacking them.
** Him noticing an error in the perspective that makes it looks like Mario's nose is on top of a currently-inaccessible platform. He goes on to lament that Mario's nose "didn't have the common decency to detach itself from Mario's face and run up there and hit that block" (which would save them quite a bit of time) and accuse it of being a traitor.
* Episode 18:
** Opening with "last heyday".
** Getting annoyed at the good music being 'turned off'.
** When Kylie says "color me bamboozled", he wonders, based on the bamboo plant, [[SidetrackedByTheAnalogy what color that would be]].
** Chugga trying to apply the Shroob speech to English letters.
** As a child, he thought the cutscene where Peach is fed to Petey Piranha meant that she [[KilledOffForReal actually died]], and he worried about the ramifications for the Mario canon, assuming at that point that she would never come back in future games, let alone the one he was playing. This led to him telling a friend that the game was pivotal to the franchise for being the one where Peach dies, and this "spoiler" turned said friend off playing the game altogether. Since his friend was so upset, Chugga never approached him with the inevitable truth that she survives, and he still doesn't know if his friend is aware.
** Doing much better at one of the group-relay item block games when he's talking than when he's focused.
** Chugga forgets the accessibility granted by the Bros. Ball move, and his reaction to finally realizing a room requires it for entry is hilarious.
** Mentioning that he had once watched somebody play the Koopaseum spike maze and that they took so long, they topped 30 minutes. He found it so fascinating/funny that he grabbed a camera and started recording it.
** [[CallBack Calling out Princess Shroob as a "lewd talker", too]], and saying she should be above such behavior.
* Episode 19:
** [[{{Pun}} Perhaps Chugga knows how threadbare his synonyms are becoming, because this time, it's "last patch".]]
** Chugga makes the simple mistake of forgetting to talk to one of the Monty Mart shopkeepers. How does he address this in post? [[SurprisinglyCreepyMoment Once he leaves, there's an abrupt cut to a slow dramatic zoom on the Monty Mole with eerie music, and then an ominous spoken warning that he'll "be back for [the mole]".]]
*** Later in the episode, he mentions that the newly formed connection to the starting area will greatly help with backtracking, and another picture of the neglected Monty Mole flashes up. What really sells it is rather than using his traditional Mario "D'oh!" sound effect for errors, he instead uses WARIO'S "D'oh!" to stress the point further.
** His fight with some Dark Boos isn't awesome in any way that he wants it to be.
*** Finally demonstrating with an Ice Flower that Bros. Flowers can be used to target airborne enemies(something he didn't know until this very playthrough), but the targets are Dark Boos, who are resistant...so his triumphant demonstration of the strategy [[{{Anticlimax}} only deals 1 HP of damage to each.]]
*** He tries with a Fire Flower...[[EpicFail they're resistant to that, too.]]
*** Then he uses a Pocket Chomp, and starts finishing off the Boos one by one, only for the attack to end right before the final Boo can be defeated.
*** Even better is that the only other enemy he could have demonstrated the flowers on in the caves is the Snifaro, which actually has a special reaction to fire.
** He's relieved that the pink block on the desert surface is hit automatically, because he feels like his child self would've gotten cocky and tried walking off the platform before hitting the block and having to backtrack all the way through to get there again.
** Chugga jokes that the small caverns having petrified Piranha Plant jaws as entrances is a good opportunity to get the [[BlackComedy "authentic Princess Peach death experience".]]
** Chugga hearing "YOIKS!" and voicing Kylie as [[WesternAnimation/ScoobyDoo Shaggy Rogers]] as a result. It's so stupid that he [[{{Corpsing}} corpses]].
** He ends the episode talking in a [[Series/CrocodileHunter Steve Irwin]] impression after saying they found "the rare female Pocket Chomp in its native habitat".
* Episode 20:
** Opening the episode at the Monty Mart, lamenting on his mistake, and pointedly talking to the shopkeeper he missed once the intro is over.
** Using "last generation" as his synonym this time.
** With the Thrilling Pants, he worries about [[PedoHunt why a pants manufacturer would consider children's overalls "thrilling".]]
** Chugga refers to the adventure as "extreme babysitting".
** Because he's feeling overpowered, Chugga decides to hold off on fighting enemies for a while...[[SpringtimeForHitler yet he still runs into practically every enemy in the area.]]
** His reaction to the boss door [[{{Anticlimax}} opening]][[note]]a miniature door in the huge double doors opens rather than the huge doors themselves[[/note]], claiming the animators must have had a day off that day.
** Upon viewing the pre-fight cutscene, which includes Mario throwing Baby Mario to distract Petey Piranha from Baby Luigi, he gives this BadassBoast: [[CallBack "We are the folks who throw babies at all of life's problems!"]]
** Chugga uses a trampoline attack, and starts saying what the action buttons spell in sequence. It's Luigi (B), Mario (A), Luigi, and then Baby Luigi (Y), so Chugga notices at the fourth turn that the sequence no longer spells "bab", but "baby", and laughs, not realizing said pattern was possible.
** Kylie Koopa is still Shaggy, until he abruptly changes her voice back to the one he was previously using.
** His "next time" speech has him accidentally say that he is playing Superstar Saga. The "d'oh" sound effect coupled with the word "UH..." covering half the screen is the icing on the cake.
* Episode 21:
** Chugga scales back the synonyms' timeframe to be a bit more accurate with "last turn".
** He dismisses Princess Peach's condition as "a bit of fungus-face".
** Chugga thinks the lack of a check-in with E. Gadd and the silence of Baby Peach at the beginning of the Toadsworths check-in are considerable "changes to formula".
** [[ItMakesSenseInContext "We've gone from throwing babies at all of life's problems to running over babies to solve all of life's problems. This is getting barbaric."]]
** Chugga mentioning how delicious Baby Peach looks in Baby Cakes form, saying the baby Bros don't look as appetizing, and realizing that saying all of that was much creepier than he thought it would be.
** Ditching the babies under pretenses of potential danger, and saying that [[SuspiciouslySpecificDenial it's not because he wants to move faster with the Bros. Ball.]] Then he realizes he dropped off the babies in the spot where Bowser breaks the bridge.
** Chugga attempts to justify his backtracking by saying that pursuing someone in the past can wait, as long as the Time Hole takes the gang back to the appropriate time.
** His horrible luck on getting ambushed by the enemies when he backtracked to Gritzy Desert to get the items he missed. What's even worse is that somehow he got back attacked when the enemies first-striked him at the front of the Bros. (which isn't supposed to happen). This incident happened before in a previous episode, but here it occurred so often in that one scene it interrupted Chugga's commentary, much to his annoyance.
** One instance of using the Pocket Chomp results in only [[ButtMonkey Luigi]] being chased for a while before finally switching to Mario.
* Episode 24:
** His story that as a kid, he mistook Mrs. Thwomp as a male because he didn't see the battle text, and thought that her and Mr. Thwomp were a gay couple. He actually showed this to his mom and she said "that is oddly progressive, good on them".
** When fighting Mrs. Thwomp, he mistakenly mentions that he has run out of Cannonballers (when in reality he had run out of Copy Flowers), only seconds before using a Cannonballer the next turn.
** When Bowser and Baby Bowser meet each other for the first time, Chugga narrated both of them at once. He recorded two separate voice clips and played them back, giving the effect of two Chuggas talking at the same time.
* Episode 25:
** Saying that VideoGame/{{Minecraft}} came out ten years after Partners in Time, meaning it would've come out two years before the episode.
* Episode 26:
** The "Golden Pants" story.
* Episode 27:
** When the Save Album only mentions that Mario defeated Bowser previously, Chugga considers it a pretty massive snub for Luigi.
* Episode 29:
** Hoping that the Peach's Castle shop [[TemptingFate won't have better items than the ones he just bought]], and realising they do.
* Episode 30:
** Chugga's [[LargeHam reaction]] to a Handfake doing 70 damage to Baby Mario.
** Chugga then proceeding to talk in panicked repeated words for the rest of the battle.
-->'''Chugga:''' Egg. Egg. Egg.
** Chugga briefly attempts to sound out the action command buttons for the Copy Flowers, like he tends to with Cannonballers, but because there are so many, he stops himself before he gets sidetracked and confused.
* Episode 31:
** Chugga's sheer glee for the pun that is the Piranha Planet's name.
** Chugga's snarky rant about how game designers are [[SarcasmMode definitely purposeful]] when they create separate explorable areas with no secrets to be obtained for reaching them.
** Calling for "Aurora Block" to be the TropeNamer for {{MacGuffin}}s that are supposedly important but aren't really.
* Episode 32:
** Sarcastically/bitterly claiming that the enemies all have a desire to look lame because he has a hard time witnessing all of their possible attacks in battles with them.
** After Chugga finds the Stache Jeans, he notices that Baby Luigi has the highest Stache stat, and claiming he's "rocking the bushiest 'stache this side of Italy". He then says that despite the return of the Shine Block mazes, finding the jeans and realizing the height of Baby Luigi's stat made the developers' [[{{Pun}} stacheing]] the item there worth the trouble.
** Chugga misreading the first row of an ordered pattern for a block puzzle, and not realizing until the completed combination does nothing.
** When hopping into a "100-coin dispenser" and landing right on a Skellokey, getting back-attacked in the process and entering a battle, he [[LargeHam screams]] "'''''BULL!'''''" at the unfairness of it.
** When the Save Album again only mentions Mario when referring to the gang accessing the Star Shrine, Chugga points out Luigi's repeated snubbing.
* Episode 33:
** Chugga playing around with the cramped map design, which places connected rooms across the screen with a long connecting line. Because of this, the character icons move especially quickly across the line, and he makes racecar zoom noises while passing between rooms a few times.
** Opting to recap the LP progress instead of the past episode, starting without "throughout our history...". Ran out of temporal words for last-episode recaps, or just pointing out the plot progression?
** His narration during the Baby Cakes maze.
-->'''Chugga:''' Gotta ride this up, and you just want to be efficient with entering these little crevices, slipping in and out, going on the fans, doing lots of other [[DoubleEntendre possibly erotic-sounding things]] and just go about your business here. I hope that last one's not.
** Chugga is very sarcastic when he sees the SuspiciousVideogameGenerosity, yet despite knowing its purpose as a boss warning, it apparently failed to impress upon him, [[EpicFail as he enters the boss fight with low health.]]
** The glorious return of Chugga's [[Franchise/ScoobyDoo Shaggy Rogers]] voice for Kylie Koopa.
** In the Elder Shrooboid fight, his Copy Flower attack is interrupted by the [[TurnsRed second phase of the battle]] (the attacks cut off when the required amount of damage has been dealt), which surprises him.
** Much like the Sunnycide fight (see above), he starts complaining about the Elder Shrooboid being a DamageSpongeBoss [[{{Irony}} as his Copy Flower attack is cut off on again by the third jump when it deals enough damage to win.]]
** When Stuffwell says "Oh, happies!" in joy, Chugga thinks it may be the most normal thing he's spoken all game.
* Episode 34:
** [[EpicFail Trying to hit a Luigi block with Baby Mario.]]
** The fact that he was so obsessive over whether or not there was a OptionalBoss in Hollijolli Village that he contacted '''professional hackers''' to verify his suspicions. There wasn't one.
** His reaction to Mrs. Thwomp's text, having expected her to not have anything interesting to say.
** This sentence:
-->'''Chugga:''' "That is every single little bittle ittie bittie weenie... teenie little preparation that I wanted to get done."
*** Yet, despite his preparations involving picking up the last of the beans, he doesn't say "beanie" in the list of adjectives.
** His mental image of a Toad literally wearing sleigh bells when he uses the phrase "with bells on", and his speculation as to which English-speaking region originated the phrase. (It seems to be US origin.)
** Praising the level-up music and then realizing that his talking means he's not giving the audience a chance to listen to it like he often does.
** When allowing the audience to make up their own minds on the Shroob Castle music (which he doesn't like), he says "I'll let you be quiet so you can judge for yourself." Editing Chugga lampshades in text:
--> '''Super:''' "I'll let YOU be quiet?" How kind of me...
** Retracting his judgement of the music when he falls off the Shine Block maze, conceding that the mood is perfect for that very situation.
** Joking that since the pink block at the end of the sequence is at waist-level inside a Princess Shroob statue, that the team is [[CrossesTheLineTwice "removing her ovaries"]], and then wondering if it's a [[DiggingYourselfDeeper C-section and saying the purple coloring is fitting]] before finally cutting himself off.
** Attempting another Steve Irwin impression to discuss the Dizzy status being inflicted by his Smash Egg, only for him to have to adjust when the [[EpicFail attack kills the Tashrooba affected instead.]]
* Episode 35:
** Yet another reason he used to suck at the game: With any RPG, he saved attacks that use up points for bosses only, which meant no Bros. Attacks for this game's regular enemies. This led to incredibly long battles against Soul Bubbles, who resurrect fallen enemies on the field.
** His extended babbling when he slips up trying to speak.
* Episode 37:
** The story he comes up with for the save album photo.
** When trying to get Supreme Slacks from the Shroobsworth enemies, he refers to it as [[BlackComedy "killing old men for their pants".]]
** When discussing the diagonal sprites again, he says that Luigi looks like a llama, and then realizes the perfect [[WesternAnimation/SuperMarioWorld "Llama Luigi"]] pun that can be made from his thoughts- his pure glee is evident.
*** And of course, there is [[http://www.tinyurl.com/llamaluigi fanart]].
** When he defeats three Shroobsworth enemies at once with a Mix Flower, he describes the Intern Shroobs hitting the Shroobsworths away as "Synchronized elder disrespect!"
* Episode 38:
** Expressing worry that he missed a certain drop from the Shroobsworths after fighting them all and not getting it, only for the next area he discovers to have more. His reaction when he finally gets them is ear-piercing excitement, which woke up his cat in the process.
** Claiming dibs on Baby Peach's abandoned bed, and then realizing it would be a crib and he'd likely get embarrassingly stuck in it and require friends' help to get him out.
** Claiming that the Princess Shroob statues have come full circle- first, he was gouging things out of her crotch, and now he's entering the building through her crotch.
** Chugga's confusion over whether or not the babies wear gloves.
** Chugga's first and only Game Over of the playthrough, when he fails the mothership-shooting fight.
* Finale:
** Finally closing the menu with the START button, which he had just learned was possible toward the beginning of the playthrough...and completely neglected to demonstrate for the ensuing episodes.
** He explains that he thought the Trampoline Bros. Attack had a damage cap of 999 because he just happened to mess up when that amount of damage had been dealt.
** Since Princess Shroob is not weak to ice, but any player (and the audience) would have expected her to take extra damage from Ice Flowers, Chugga calls everyone out for [[FantasticRacism being racist and assuming all Shroobs are weak to ice]].
** Because of how bad he was as a kid playing this game, it took him a combined total of '''6 HOURS''' to beat the final boss because he only upgraded health, never got good equipment and badges, never learned how to utilize the bros items properly, and the final boss having as much health as it does.
*** It also took him 3 attempts his first time playing because the first attempt went on for an hour before he got a game over due to not having enough 1-UP Mushrooms, and the second attempt took him an hour and a half before '''his ''battery'' died'''.
** Getting his Copy Flower cut off one last time, when its third hit is all it takes to finish off Elder Princess Shroob. Even better, he almost won the battle with the Pocket Chomps, his least favorite Bros item in the game.
** Chugga's horror at the implication that the Hydrogush is filled with babies' tears in order to cleanse the past of the Shroobs' work.
** TheStinger has him upset that he never got to see [[BrickJoke Toadsworth worry at 11]].
* Bonus Episode
** Chugga's maniacal laughter before completely cheesing the Elder Princess Shroob fight.
** Chugga's introduction to how he FailedASpotCheck on the Save Album at the end is accentuated with a zoom in with creepy music.
** Chugga talks about his remembering of an interesting typo where Partners in Time was misprinted as "Partners in Crime", but for the longest time couldn't find it in his packaged booklet that came with the game. He did eventually find it, but what makes his story funnier was that [[https://youtu.be/QtsB5ozPf60?t=430 he had attempted to find out where it might have been online]]...and one of the search options [[NotMakingThisUpDisclaimer was a news report about two men committing a robbery while dressed as Mario and Luigi back in 2009 in New York City]], with the headline being "Partners in Crime".
